Her gaze traced upwards at the entrance of Lothaire. The pale child gasped at the sight of him. Scarlet.. Blood.. Associated with pain. Eyes cast downwards. Too many faces, too many voices.. Ones that she would have to learn and relearn again. She stared at the ground with flattened ears and sat down next to Lena. War? What? She could.. help with that, right? She could bring them food, or lick their wounds! But maybe if they went away.. maybe the feeling of being overwhelmed would go with it. Life had been much simpler in the burrow, even on the journey. The young female was torn between staying with her father and staying in her comfort zone.

Dion squirms around, a black splotch among his siblings, looking quite a bit like his notorious late grandfather. Then he does some more exciting squirming and gums his mother's belly.
Alice doesn't have a lot of time, but you can assume Victor is close by and has herbs for a no longer pregnant lady after chasing Caylis to his den. And he plots to herd everyone injured to his den. Cyber included.
Sardon is dicking around.

▲ Lothaire Long, Mizuki Blaatt and Beau Kain-Donovan
"We are discussing a possible relocation until the war is over. There's a possibility for us to take shelter with Shakespeare in the pride he belongs to. But it's all up to you, Lothaire, and the cubs." Mizuki explained and looked at Lothaire with a conserned look. She feared for Porcelain and Lena's life if Meutrier should come back in great numbers.
"Hmm" he mumbled and nodded, gaze shifted to his cubs; "It would be safer for them somewhere else.." Lothaire would never forgive himself if Meutrier caught them and the suggestion didn't sound like a bad option. He trusted Shakespeare and Mizuki had always been there for Porcelain and Lena. "I trust both of you and I'd be very grateful if Lena and Porcelain could stay with your pride for a while, Shake. As long as it's perfectly okay with the leader of course.. Porcelain- Lena. Would you two be okay with that? It won't last forever, just til the war is over".
Beau is acting like a newborn.

Shakespeare flicked his tail, gave a final glance and frown at Cyber's contradictory speech. The elder decided then that the younger male didn't know what he was talking about, and steered his attention to the more informed figures who were present. Omen, Mizuki and Lothaire.
He decided to wait for the kids to answer before saying anything further. This would not be an immediate happening, should the idea go through. The elder looked to the cubs and frowned, recognizing just how stressed they were getting. This wasn't fair; they're just cubs. He looked over to Lothaire. "Go to them." He said quietly, figuring they needed their fathers comfort above all else.

Lena Aurobori-Long God damn it.. she had just met her father. Her amazing, beautiful, real father.. and now she and Porce had to leave.. again. She didn't want to. She wanted to cry out, cling to her father's leg and beg to not go anywhere.. but she knew they'd have to bunker down with Shakespeare. Too be honest, it wasn't such a bad thing. Lena adored Shakespeare.. but still.. having to leave Father? That was harsh.
She shook her head and tried to not cry. "I.." She looked from Lothaire, to Shakespeare, to Procelain.. and then finally, she walked over to her father slowly. Looking up to him with big youthful eyes. "I'll go with Shakespeare," She conceded. "I don't think I'll be much help in the war anyway.. but promise you'll be okay, Dad?"

She was quick to trust her older sister's judgement, although she was reluctant for the departure. "It's not fair.." she whimpered, choking on the beginning of a sob. Porcelain was a timid creature, but she was also entirely prepared to disregard her safety in order to stay with their father. But then again, this experience had been far from a pleasant one. She knew she couldn't handle a repeat. The young female nodded slowly at Lena's words, and then looked up at him herself. "And.. promise you'll wait.. for us." The sisters had waited their whole lives to meet him, and now they all had to wait to be a family. Porcelain's toes dug into the ground as she felt a drop of moisture fall on her paw. How long until their departure? She tore her eyes away from her father to glance at Shakespeare, and then look sadly at the ground.

▲ Lothaire Long
"I'll follow you and talk to the pride's leader myself. I want to make sure it's absolutely okay that you three are staying there while we wait for better times." he replied. Lothaire might even stay there for some days too, if that was okay with Reno. Lothaire had made up his mind, a move was necceserily. He was still overwhelmed by the last battle, the pain and the sorrow of loosing two dear relatives. There was no way he'd let the enemy near his daughters again. He couldn't bare to loose his daughters.
"I don't think I'll be much help in the war anyway.. but promise you'll be okay, Dad?
"That's not right, daughter. You are helping. I'm fighting for your safety, a better future for you and Porcelain, and the thought of a better tomorrow for us is all I need. You two mean the world to me."

Lena Aurobori-Long Maybe she was just still a cub.. but Father knew how to stir up something fierce in her heart. She had never been spoken to like that before, not her or Porcelain. Speaking of whom, she pressed up to, comforting her poor sister. They were both scared. Scared that they wouldn't be together again. It had only been a short while, but something that she would never forget. She gave a small nod, trembling and trying not to break out in front of everyone. She nodded with Porcelain.
"Yeah.. promise you'll wait for us.." She murmured.

The scene before him broke his heart. Frankly it was one he'd have much rather avoided... But to leave the children at the mercy of war, and just after the enemy had gotten so very close to the dens themselves... He hated to doubt that this lovely pride, La Morte, could defend themselves against Meurtrier. Shakespeare had been around when the great war had raged. His best hope was that the two prides could compromise, so that a potential genocide could be avoided.
War ripped families apart, and although it was temporary, it was doing it now to the elders friend and his children. Shakespeare hated to be a part of it, however good his intentions are. But he could never forgive himself if one day he was to learn that the cubs he escorted here were killed...
It was with a heavy heart the elder sighed, and slowly pulled himself up to stand. He wobbled some from sitting for so long. Shakespeare waited to be addressed.

It made her feel a little better that they didn't have to say goodbye immediately, but Porcelain was still quite upset. She leaned against her for comfort as she thought about her father's inspiring words. There were moments when she thought maybe their father wanted to send them away because he didn't accept them or didn't want them to be in the way, but now Porcelain was convinced that this was untrue. "I-I wish.. I wish you didn't have to fight at all.." Why couldn't things just be different?

▲ Lothaire Long
"I'll always return to you two" he smiled to the young teenagers. "Shakespeare-" Lothaire turned his gaze to the eldery male. "I need to speak to Reno before we depart, but he's busy now. Najisi needs him. So it'd have to wait til he's available." he explained. Besides, Lothaire could need a little time to recover from the battle and clean his wounds. His shoulders were still aching.

Jericho waiting upon Atryn or anyone.
Cyber sighed heavily as he curled up in the middle of a clearing, until a shadow laid upon him. He looked up and noted Yasbi glaring at him. "Healer. Now." Cyber huffed, forced himself to stand back up, and walked over to Victor's den.
Yasbi sighed and looked over at the others, a frown covering her face as they spoke of leaving. She shook her head, but she had seen Cyber try. She wasn't about to try herself although she felt her muscles burn from having defended that very den against Cocaine and the others. But she knew she needed to look out for Jericho too. For all she knew, they would be after him just as much as they'd be after Meurtrier. Her frown deepend when she caught sight of Lothaire approving this - even though anyone could see clear as day that it was tearing those cubs hearts out. She was thoroughly surprised that this was the conclusion they would come up with - even though it was a clear they were granted peace for now and more than likely there would not be a battle for some time. Perhaps at Volcano there would be - but not here among their own home. She shook her head and sought out her mother.
Kardei glanced up with Yasbi appeared, and noting that Victor had not gone and done something, she walked over and grasped his shoulder. This she could do. Kardei tensed as he looked at her, but she merely grinned back. "Think of it as payback for our greeting." He opened his mouth to respond but a yelp escaped instead as she jerked his shoulder back in place.
"Fucking bitch." He hissed out, standing after a moment to stretch the limb out.
"Yep. Just like my mother." Then she paused. "Don't let her hear you say that though." Kardei glared as Yasbi moved on and instead looked to where his sister had disappeared. He stood with a heavy sigh. He didn't really want to go over there, especially since she'd apparently just given birth - it was in the air - but he wondered if she wanted him around anyway. So he stood and moved towards the area that she'd disappeared to. Reno stood nearly at guard and he shifted uneasily, careful of his shoulder. "How is she?" He asked softly.
Yasbi moved over to Yasha to help her place Asera's body carefully in a small clearing for those who wished to sit vigil.
Camry looked up at Siakon after a long silence, his eyes dull for a moment even at her words. "Your family is strong. Of course they will recover." He made sure to be careful to not place him among them without making it awkward - or noticable. "And you all will remain safe. Especially Sinna and you. I wouldn't let anything happen to her - or any more of her sisters." He told her before dropping his head back on his paws. He couldn't help but keep thinking of the way Asera told him to help Sinna though, and how he had fallen for it which had resulted in Asera's death. He hated it. He hated it so much. He could have saved her. So many possibilities presented itself to him now, he could have pulled Sinna away from Fracture the moment he got to her, and had them both go and charge Donato. He could have - he paused and sighed heavily, his ears pressing flat against his skull.

"But of course." The elder nodded slowly, then looked back to the kids. He felt he had no place to comfort them at the present time, having come up with such a heart breaking idea. What they really needed now was their fathers embrace. Shakespeare will offer his apologies to them in the evening, and hopefully tell them some stories to help their minds off the difficult time.
For now he decided to limp out of the den, the malefactor-mix needed some fresh air, but he would not find it. There will only be reminders of why the choice was the right thing to do, much as he longed for things to be different.
