The stress of the situation had gotten the female all worked up and then eventually drained her. She lie in a state of sleep-like unconsciousness, being able to somewhat hear and feel things going on around her, but sheltering her mind from the fright and tragedy of the battle. It didn't take much to wake her; she awoke to the sound of her father's voice and flinched at Shakespeare's movements. "Are.. they gone? W-where are you going? " She listened carefully as the others spoke. It took her a little while to find her voice again, intimidated at the thought of speaking her mind, but she had to say something. They were speaking of her fate! "I-I want to stay with Mizuki and Father! Please don't worry, I can help!" What was she saying? The words she spoke didn't feel like her own. She had heard the frightening noises, witness the casualties of war, and this was something she wanted to help with? But.. she had to find some way to stay with her guardians! They had only just been reunited.. This couldn't be happening. She took a few steps back again and sought comfort by looking for the familiar faces of Mizuki and Lena.

Najisi Kain Naji had no knowledge of the brewing desertion that was being discussed within the dens. However, she did fear something was going to happen. Tanzel worried her. Everything worried her. Her leadership was put into question and secretly Najisi herself grew doubtful. Maybe it really was best if she turned herself over to Meurtrier. Before more loss could ever happen. But those thoughts had to wait. Something wasn't right within her body. But she didn't want to leave Asera's body.. Not so open to the scavengers.. "Reno.. I need to get somewhere safe.." An odd statement. They were in Arelth. This was their home. It should be safe. But Naji needed a different kind of safety. She needed seclusion. Cover. Sinna had run off and as much as Naji wanted to chase after her, she couldn't. Siakon had moved to go comfort Camry. This made her proud of Siakon. But things would sadly have to wait. "But I don't want to leave her..."

▲ Lothaire Long and Mizuki Blaatt
Lothaire remained where he stood and mourned his dead relatives.
Mizuki turned to the eldery male; "It is a dangerous place for them to be.." eyes flicked to Omen, "Perhaps.. We should take them somewhere else until the war is over.. Porcelain, it would be for the best and-" she looked at her with a stern expression, "you're far too young to participate in the war, young lady.".

Omen arrived and spoke their mind, and Shakespeare agreed with her, however Porcelain's distress only broke his old heart. He lowered his body to address the youngster on her level. No over-ruling, he was her equal.
The elder flicked his tail at Mizuki to gesture that she has been heard and not ignored. His blue eyes was attentive on the cub he felt so attached to. "I will not force you to come with me, deary." He started with, a reassurance, but not without some weight. "You see, Meurtrier is a big bad pride. La Morte here must defend themselves against them. I want to take you to my pride, Aodhi, so that you and your sister will be safe until it's all over..." He glanced back to Mizuki, then at Porcelain again. "Your dad will come visit you, and when the war is done, he will take you two home again."
Carefully, Shakespeare's re-positioned himself, so that instead of crouching, he would be laying instead. Far more comfortable. "I promise I will not force the two of you, though. I only want to make sure you're both safe..." He then waited, hoping the dear youngster would consider his offer.

I'll post Jericho again when Atryn responds/someone approaches him.
Everyone.
Camry's head jolted up, slightly surprised that anyone had come after him at all, and he stared at Siakon for a moment as she thanked him. His eyes flicked back down. "I could have possibly saved them both had I stuck with Asera and pulled her away from that guy with me." He told her, his voice dull. Then he looked back up at her. "But I can say I am.. Glad is not the right word, but I can't think of another.." A pause. "Glad I guess, to have been able to keep Sinna from the same fate." He nodded at that, then glanced in the direction he'd come from. "I just hope she's okay."
Yasha stood then, her body aching as she did so, and walked over to Victor. "If you could, I think Kardei's shoulder is messed up. Dislocated, perhaps. He cannot walk and I figure it's a quick process to fix that." She told him, but her eyes were narrowed in wariness as she placed a name to this creature, as she remembered this creature. Then she moved slowly over to the others. "Najisi, you must rest. Victor wants you in his den so he can look you over, but I'm sure he can care for you in your own private den as well. I, or Reno of course, can bring Asera with you." She kept her tone soft as she spoke to the distressed emotional mother.
Cyber had stood then, turning away from the scene and walking back towards the dens. His brother was alive, and that was what mattered most to him. As he made it back his ears flicked forward when passing the cubs den, and he heard the words spoken. He paused, tilting his head to the side. "You lot knew there was a war as you approached our territory." He looked them over, "And suddenly because of one battle - regardless of why it was brought here, you wish to leave again and take away Lothaire's cubs - without him knowing quite yet, might I add as he is mourning the loss of his family, and take them away from their father's pride, to another pride?" His tone wasn't rude, merely inquiring curiousity. And perhaps even a bit of disapproval. "As far as I know, they have just reacquanted with their father. It is best to not make plans or decisions without him being aware of them, lest he be okay with that. If I were father, I would not be okay with my cubs disappearing from my eyes where on their travels - in smaller numbers - could be possibly targeted for just having the scent of La Morte on them. Then again, I am not Lothaire, and he may very well think differently on it. And of course, I'd be missing out on them growing up in their cubhood, because who knows how long this war will go on." A shrug as he sat, then he winced again at the wound on said shoulder. "Best to think this over thoroughly is all I'm saying." He made sure to keep his voice even, calm, and not seem as if he were being rude or snappish about the whole thing, because he honestly wasn't being such. If they took it as that, then that was their problem.
Yasbi looked after Cyber as he limped away, and then looked back to where Jericho lay with Atryn as he came out from the dens area from the passage and joined everyone else but kept the cub away from the dead body's view. She had nothing to do at this moment and merely felt cold as her fur dried from having fallen into the water. She glanced over at Casket and noted that he was doing okay, and then noticed her mother went over to Najisi - once more, to comfort her. "Kardei-"
"I know Yasbi." He lashed out. "I would move if I could if it weren't for my shoulder, so thanks for making me admit it, now leave me alone." Yasbi snickered softly. Kardei flicked an ear in annoyance, his limbs locked up in tension from the throbbing pain.
Diezel stuck to his mothers side feverhently and then glanced up with his dad awoke, and he made his way to him and snuggled up in his father's neck and shoulder area but said nothing more.[/blockquote]

▲ Lothaire Long and Mizuki Blaatt
A brow lifted on her face, Shakespeare had a good point, but would the father agree? "You propose a good suggestion, but it's up to Lothaire and his cubs to decide and if they do chose to leave; I'd go with them. I've been there for them in the past and I'll be there for them in the future." she stated and looked at Porcelain and Lena, "I won't leave you guys". Ears flicked to Cyber when he commented their conversation. "We won't take any hasty decisions. It's up to them to decide."
"What's going on here?" Lothaire asked as he just came into hearshot and heard Mizuki speak of a decision to be made.

As Cyber approached and spoke his mind based on a few seconds of hearing, Shakespeare listened, but became rather irritated with the accusations hurled at them. The pride male implied that they were going to take the cubs without their fathers consent, and that was most certainly not the case. After all, Lothaire was his friend.
"You are far too quick to assume the worst, young one. I will be discussing this with the pride - their father and the leaders especially before we come to a certain conclusion." His tail flicked as the male joined them, he hoped there'd be no further trouble.
Lothaire arrived, and what good timing. "Lothaire! Thank goodness, are you well?" He asked, expressing genuine concern for the warrior. There was splashes of crimson on his pelt...

Just to keep it going and cause I be bored.
Cyber flicked his tail in turn then nodded to Mizuki in respect for her response. "You too, are quick to assume. And my name is Cyber." He did not like being addressed as 'young one.' Cyber eyed Shakespeare a moment. "I did not say that any of this had been certain nor did I say that it would not be brought up to the parent or pride in question." He tilted his head. "Instead I was merely saying it should not be discussed at all without the parent in question present." His eyes flicked to Lothaire as he continued to speak even upon his arrival. He cleared his throat slightly as he looked Lothaire over. "Thank you, by the way Lothaire. For helping them. And I am sorry for your loss." He told the male, dipping his head respectfully.

RENO DONOVAN, OMEN SULDAN, DARRIUM SULDAN, TANZEL SULDAN, DAZEON SULDAN, SIAKON
He glanced at her belly and then to her eyes with a frown. "Do what Yasha has said, please." Thoughts raced through Reno's mind. Most of them were bad thoughts. Such as Najisi's body aborting, or early cubs, runts, still borns, or worse. He wanted Najisi to get to safety. He looked down at Asera's body. "She's safe now, and she'd want you to take care of yourself, love." He said quietly.
Darrium had managed to roll himself onto his belly while he rubbed his head. "What happened?" He asked, still a bit out of it. "The last thing I remember was.. Meurtrier attacking." Darrium ran through his memories. A gap of time was there, but unfortunately, he couldn't recall what had happened. He looked to his mate for help. She ran her tongue over his scruff and groomed him lovingly. "Meurtrier retreated, we're okay, but we've lost Asera, Najisi's daughter.. our granddaughter." She murmured. It took a moment for it to sink in, but eventually Darrium lowered his gaze, to mourn the loss of his family. At least their children were still with them, and healthy as always. Little Dazeon had moved over to Diezel and curled up with their father. Dazeon wasn't effected by the loss of his niece. He had hardly known her. Siakon moved from seated to on her side, stretched out with a sigh. "I know.. it's tough, but if it weren't for you, I may be mourning two sisters now, or heck, it may even be me." She sighed and closed her eyes. "It'll be tough, but as a family, we will recover." Her thoughts went out to her mother, who no doubt, was taking it the hardest. Omen turned to Cyber as he spoke and then listened to what they all had to say. Everyone had fair points, all in all, but Omen would side with safety. The children needed to be in a safe place, at least until they could fend for themselves. La Morte was at war! It was no place for children! Cyber and Shakespeare.. she feared the worst out of these two. Men, men, men.. "Alriiiight men, alright. Ultimately it is Lothaire's decision." Omen looked at Lothaire and gave him a nod. "We're speaking about how La Morte isn't a safe place for the children." She said. Though in all fairness, La Morte had defended themselves against Meurtrier. They may not have been as big as some of the giants of the evil notorious pride, but they had skill and tact. Tanzel's children lived in La Morte, Najisi's too, and soon her other cubs as well. Although La Morte wasn't the safest place, it also wasn't the worst. Nevertheless, Omen didn't see it that way..[/ul][/blockquote]

Najisi Kain Najisi refused. She didn't WANT to go to the dens. There were too many there. Not for this. She growled when they mentioned going to the den as more pain came over her. "I need seclusion.. Please.." She murmured to Reno. She knew what was happening. The stress and the jolt to her stomach.. She knew. And Najisi was terrified. She then began to move off toward the flat grounds. It had many rocks and tree cover to hide something. With Meur having just been here, and knowing where the dens were mean it was unsafe for now. Especially with the chance a meurtrian may be lingering. "Reno!" She called out with worry as her pace quickened. She wanted him there. It was the first time she had even wanted anyone at the spot. Even Funeral she had preferred he keep his distance. Finally. She made it and with no time to spare. Nestling under a rock's shade, she panted. Fade. Some time later. There were the loud mews of newborns echoing in the area. There were ten cubs in total. A large litter. Something she seemed to be plagued with. But maybe it was not all happy. A bad omen. Rats had many babies. Why? Because everything eats them. Not many survive.. She worried about this. Already there had been tragedy. The cubs had been early. Not too early, but still early. And the tenth.. It was dead. Developed like the others, so it was likely the strike hit the poor guy dead on. Another life taken by them. Najisi now mourned the loss of two cubs.. Though she had very little energy to. At least the other nine seemed healthy.

Renji Kain - Donovan
Little red body lay pressed firmly against Najisi's white belly. It was warm there and it had suddenly become so cold. Hunger had gripped him yet there were so many others to compete with for limited spacing in feeding. It was all just too exhausting for the little guy. Instead he mewed occasionally into his mother's fur, as if casually talking to her;or anyone who'd listen.

Amour Donovan-Kain
The child let her siblings take the food, she was a strong cub already, though she took her share, just lesser than the others. She mewed back to Renji as if to greet her sibling, she whimpered as she cuddled up by her mother, she was full.

Athena Kain-Donovan
High-pitched mews and rolls everywhere shivering from this new cold air after having escaped the 'warm place', eventually slowly crawls to try and find both food and warmth on her mothers stomach, though it hard rolling around on top of her nine other siblings she had to compete with.

Lena Aurobori-Long Lena stayed quiet and motionless during the whole thing, curled up by her sister and not moving a bit. Although she was usually the one who was more spoken, outgoing than Porcelain, she kept back for this. The whole fighting and all that. It made her shiver.
