Najisi Kain Was she pregnant? If she was, she would be spared. At least, until her cubs were born. The were La Morte cubs now. She growled but refrained from any outbursts as Reno spoke. She knew what that look was. Reno wanted her input. She struggled to speak. Finding it hard to even glare at the Meurtrian. "You will stay. If you are with cubs as my mate suspects, they will be born here. Will be raised here. They are Meurtrier's no longer. But you have no freedom. You are our prisoner." She growled out. Lothaire interrupted her and Najisi nearly lunged at him in anger. Why was it suddenly okay to just throw everything aside and interrupt her? She would have lashed out at Loth had the news of Hajime not hit her. Dead..? Uncle? No! NO!! "You lie! You know how he died! Your bloodthirsty pride murdered him! Just like they murdered my daughter!" Najisi screeched. She was broken. Her eyes in narrow slits. She couldn't handle this. She blamed Meur. That had to be the ones that killed him. But deep down.. she blamed herself. It was all her fault.. Hajime.. Asera... Osic, Carnal and Zenith.. How many more did she have to lose?

RENO, SIAKON, TANZEL
[/i] She turned back to Darrium, whom had moved slightly. He'd wake soon, confused, possibly with a bit of memory loss. Reno's wings held close to his sore body as he oversaw the situation. Najisi's words were final -- the cubs, if any, would be future La Morte material. Caylis's life hung in the balance until then, as a prisoner of war. He didn't care for her. She was pathetic scum, begging for her life. How could they trust her if she'd turn so quickly on Meurtrier once captured? She could be an intentional spy for all they knew! He moved to stand by her, flicking his tail for Influence to stand with him, to make sure Caylis didn't try anything. News of Hajime was harsh. It grabbed Siakon's attention, especially as her mother burst out. All that she could do was lean into her mother and whimper. "Please, mom, we should mourn Asera.. dad can take care of this.. we need rest." She murmured, gaze flickering to her deceased sibling. Reno nodded in agreement. Najisi, Siakon, Sinna.. they all needed time. Reno could handle the aftermath now. "Rest, love, mourn with the family. Make sure everyone is well.. those who aren't as injured can hunt, restock. Influence and I will take care of Caylis." He turned sharply and looked at the bloodbeast. "To the rock mazes. I don't trust her in our own dens. She doesn't deserve that comfort anyway. Perhaps Victor may know of a way to keep her subdued. Where is he anyway?" Reno had missed Victor before, and was unaware their medic was now mute. He'd be furious when he found out.[/ul][/blockquote]

Caylis & Influence
Caylis's eyes widened before dipping her head. I'm not a traitor! she thought but she did not dare say it out loud, she didn't want to anger anymore. She had to live for her children, and Cassius; the only thing she could live for. The Hallowess stood silent, not moving an inch.. perhaps she could find a way to escape somehow and tell Meurtrier; but she knew it would definitely be risky. Wait.. who was the father? She finally realized; Cassius.. oh.. he would never have a chance to see his children; or possibly even her ever again. And Kazbek.. Estavan.. Iarri.. they would never see her again.. Caylis started to fear the worse. At least the ones she realized were inside her would be cared for...
Influence nodded and stood by Reno immediately. "Yes, m'lord." he said, his eyes turning red as he looked onto the black Hallowess coldly. He looked up to the king, nodding before grabbing Caylis by the scruff roughly which she coughed up blood, and he took flight to the cave mazes, narrowing his eyes. "This is what you get." he growled, a hint of a smirk twitching at the edge of his lips.

Victor gently laid the injured male down, rubbing the tip of his tail over the male's skull once they reached his den. The follicles were of ice, thus it was cold to the touch. He set up a few pelt to make it comfortable, making sure nothing alive was present in the area he had chosen for Slaughter. He moved him in slowly before grabbing a salve he had made the other day to numb the body. He carefully used a stick to rub it into the male's fur. He would have to wait for him to numb before he could start his work. Just by running his paws over the male and listening to the sounds he made, he had a very good idea of what was wrong. He dropped the rabbit in a hole and buried it, thinking of what to do to make the other more comfortable. He Grabbed a few, strange leaves and chewed on them, having to use his paws to move it onto where his tongue had been. It stopped the bleeding. Then he put the salve in his mouth, tears welling up as his claws raked the incredibly sensitive area. Too many nerves. He felt the cooling sensation and tense muscles relaxed. He found a few gashes on his body, but he simply washed those off and looked to Slaughter. He got some moss and wet it, rubbing it over certain areas to clean the male off a bit. But it would take a while until the other would be okay to handle.
Victor stepped from the den and stretched, going to look for other who had taken serious damage. He needed to start his care immediately, or warriors would be unable to fight for a while. The sooner he began, the quicker wounds would heal. His eyes fell on Cyber and he lifted a brow. To be honest, Victor needed little care. He had his father's genes. But few others here could boast such an immunity to disease, nor his ability to heal. There was only one problem.
He opened his mouth, a phantom limb sensation taking him now that the salve had taken effect, starting into his bloodstream. He could no longer speak. A soft growl came from him. He stalked over to Caylis and sniffed at her, specifically around her hind quarters. He realized she was pregnant in an instant and growled at Influence as he took off, before a roar came from him, not too loud, but enough to get his attention. Black specks flew from his mouth, showing that he was missing something.
Despite the fact that she may be considered an enemy, she was an expectant mother. The unborn had done nothing. Thus he needed to protect Caylis to protect the cubs. He would not let the others move her just yet. He could not speak except through his actions now. There were others to take care of too. Without the ability to speak... This was going to be hell. He looked like hell.

Najisi Kain Najisi whimpered as her anger began to fade into sorrow. Reno.. She felt so bad he had to deal with it. She gave him a nod and slowly moved back to Asera's body. She looked to her two daughters. Her face was full of sorrow. How could she tell them everything was going to be okay? She didn't even believe it herself. "Siakon.. Sinna... I... Its.. We'll..." She couldn't even push it out. Her lip trembled and she turned back to Asera. They would need to send her home soon. But she just couldn't.. She slowly moved toard a sakura tree to grab a few blossoms. However, just then a sharp pain in her abdomen hit. The stress was too much. "Reno.." She whimpered in worry.

▲ Lothaire Long and Mizuki Blaatt
"Dead!?" Lotahaire was shocked, his nightmare had come true. His dear cousin and mentor had fallen while carrying on a mission for La Morte. Lothaire knew it was dangerous before Hajime left, but the old man had been such a cunning weasel in the art of stealth and using tactics. Lothaire wanted to question her more but he became speechless because of the sad news. He had lost two dear relatives, Hajime and Asera. Tears fell down from his cheeks and his body was shaking in anger and sorrow. 'I should never have allowed him to go..' Teary eyes flicked to Najisi when she called for Reno. She sounded worried.
Mizuki is back by the dens with Lena and Porcelaine.

Influence & Caylis
Influence stopped immediately and landed gently on the forest floor, nodding. "Victor; is something wrong?" It was then that he noticed Victor's loss of a tongue, his eyes widened before nudging Caylis up which she did so. Cay rose her brows; she felt nervous now.. and she wondered what Victor wanted with her.

The brute tilted his head at Reno. He attempted to speak, but a grunt came instead. A snarl became plastered to his face and he gestured with a paw to Caylis once Influence returned her. He pointed to her stomach and gave both males a hard look. He then pointed to Najisi's stomach and then to his den. His eyebrows lifted, trying to see if they could understand him. He snorted. He wanted them to come his den. He pointed to Cyber as well and to his den. His ears were perked forward, hopeful that they might grasp his gestures. He needed both the pregnant females in his den, though Najisi the most, as she seemed very under the weather right now. He figured Caylis would be safe from other's wrath in his den.
Large, black paws kneaded the ground a bit. He wanted to go back and check on Slaughter as well. Today would be incredibly busy. Eyes sought Casket, as while he was young, he assumed the other could be of at least some help in this situation.

Atryn & Sinna & Casket
It was amazing how quick the cub's trust had fallen, broken like shattered glass upon the ground. Somehow he didn't believe Jerry anymore... Why was his father wanting him so bad? Why were they fighting over him? Suddenly mother wasn't sick anymore? He felt numb and his body slowly curled in pain. This was no game, this felt wrong to him, very wrong, he knew now this was something more. He had been labeled as a prisoner, he had heard the queen had threatened his death. His eyes looked up to Jerry weakly, sadness in them. They were friends... But it didn't feel that way anymore. Limply he hung from the male's jaws, hope seeping from him. After this all would be said and done, once he realized what had happened to him, he would have a sour place in his heart.
Sinna's sadness was slowly ebbing away to anger, tail lashing watching her mother stumble for words. No, she wasn't angry at her, not at all. She damned the Meurtrians for taking so much from their family, a soft whisper lingered under her breath. I want to kill them. They were gone today, though, that didn't mean they wouldn't return. Her claws scraped the ground, and she swiveled away from them, hissing. "I'm going to hunt." And she darted away. She felt when she was loosing control, and now was one of those times- she needed to get away from the situation, but more so she needed to kill something.
Casket had been cheking the stocks, but perked as he caught wind of the male looking at him. He quickly got the idea, and padded to his side, pausing and waiting for words. He didn't speak a word though, and a scent of obvious blood seeped from his maw, it almost made the boy cringe. "Victor, what..." He muttered, but decided not to ask. If his mouth was injured, he didn't wish to make it worse. "Is there something you want me to do? Anyone you want me to look at?"
That really sounded stupid after he thought about it. Looking around; there were wounded everywhere, but the poor boy was quite new to this, and was already slapped in the face by battle, it was quite nerve racking. He wanted to make sure that if Victor wanted him to do something specific, he would try his best to do it, though nervous he may be.

Jericho, Camry, Cyber, Yasha, Kardei, Yasbi.
Camry flicked his ears back and forth as he listened to everything going on, and then Sinna darted off with a few words of going to hunt. He wanted to go after her but in all reality, Camry had no place here among this crowd. So he stepped back. With his tail dragging and head hanging he turned and trailed away from it all. He had forgotten about the claw marks on his chest from Donato and the scratches on his cheeks and such, because at the moment they didn't matter to him. He was new to the pride simply here by an alliance betrothed. He had no other purpose here, or so it felt. He moved to a secluded area away from everyone and laid down there, head on top of his paws. He had no relations with anyone else here. Sinna needed to be alone, that he could see. He would be here when she returned.
The adrenaline had finally left their bodies as they conversed softly among another and suddenly Kardei hissed, making Yasha pull herself away from him in concern. She eyed Kardei for a moment, then lifted a paw to prod at his shoulder when Kardei jerked away again. She tsk'd. "Your shoulder's all messed up." She told him. Kardei gave her a leveled look of disdain for a moment before he sighed. "You should get that fixed soon." Kardei flicked his tail to show he'd heard, but didn't move from his spot. Yasha rolled her eyes and then with a last glance up at Jericho, the two joined Cyber and Yasbi out in the clearing. They watched the proceedings happen from there without much of another word. Yasbi gave them a glance to which Yasha shook her head at. Jericho would come when he wanted to. Then she caught sight of Victor. Her eyes narrowed dangerously as memories triggered her hackles to rise a bit before Yasha forced herself to calm. Victor was their medic it seemed. She wasn't going to start something.
Cyber had glanced over at Victor when the healer had stepped up and roared and he watched as the healer motioned him over. Yasbi nudged him to go, but Cyber's lips twitched. He really didn't want to move. It pained him very much so to move and in reality he had no intention of moving. Besides, he wasn't as important as two pregnant ladies and Slaughter. At least, he deemed himself not to be. He flicked his ear and turned away, pretending to not have seen Victor motion him to the den.
Jericho looked at Atryn, his eyes staring at the cub for a long moment. He picked Atryn up and carefully moved down the tree, ignoring everyone else as he took Atryn to the clearing and then moved to a secluded spot - enough to where he could see and hear everything going on, but to where no one would hear his words to the cub. "Listen to me, Atryn." He voice was soft, soothing, warm, but serious too. He wouldn't lie to this cub any longer, although last he saw, Ryssor had indeed been sick. Mentally so from what happened to that other cub. "I have not lied to you, I promise you that, Atryn. Your mother is sick, but by the time you go back, she will be better. Your father came to get you, yes and he was very angry that I'd brought you here. No one here would ever hurt you though. You are young, and innocent. You aren't a prisoner here. You are a cub, and you can play with the other cubs here too. It is not your fault that I took you from home, Atryn, but I promise you, you will be able to go back. Soon." He looked down at the cub, tilting his head as he waited for his reply before his ears caught something that struck him to the core.
"Where is Hajime?!" "That's what I'd like to know. He's dead; though we don't know exactly how he died."
Jericho's head shot up and he looked over at them in pure horror. And that's when he caught sight of his sister Najisi mourning over a younger one. Asera, the named echoed in his skull as he remembered seeing these cubs when they'd been younger. He felt like he couldn't breath. Like something was choking him and his legs buckled underneath him as the shock of the news forced him to lay down beside Atryn. And then he was numb, the guilt - crushing. Only Atryn's response would snap him out of it as his gaze cast down to his paws. [/blockquote]

RENO, DARRIUM, TANZEL, OMEN, DAZEON, SIAKON
[/i] He said. When he returned his gaze to Asera and the gang, Sinna had fled to hunt and Camry walked off, with Siakon not too far behind. Siakon followed Camry. He was an ally, a pride member, and he helped her sister.. Sinna. She found him with his head on his paws, resting. So she sat a little away but dipped her head to him. "Thank you for helping.." Siakon said. If it weren't for him.. she may have lost two sisters. Darrium lifted his head finally and Tanzel sighed in relief. "Thank the heavens." She murmured and frantically groomed him. "Mizuki." The elder suddenly spoke up, carefully lifting himself off from the ground somewhat shakily. He limped to the den entrance, body stiff from the many hours of laying. A quick glance outside showed the battle aftermath, and he frowned, looking back to the Hellioness. "I will be needing to return home soon..." His frown deepened and he looked a little distressed. Still, he continued with a more hushed voice after he glanced to the kids, Porcelain and Lena especially. "I don't want to leave them here while there is a war going on..."

Azul realized that her father had lifted his head, she purred. "Daddy! Daddy! You're okay!" she purred, tears of joy spilling on his cheeks, she nuzzled him. Looking up to Reno, she tilted her head. "M'lord Reno.. why are we fighting? Why can't it stop?" she said, her eyes were full of innocence; it was clear she took him as a role model.
Influence nodded. "Right!" He took flight immediately, looking back to the Suldans, he would check up on them later; for some reason he felt family when he was with them; something he had never felt for a long while. He felt it was his, and the other warriors' job to protect family, La Morte. He flew around, frowning in concern, he took a good sniff; no scent or sign of them. He started to make his rounds.
Caylis is waiting for Victor.

(I think there's location confusion again? Guys, Asera's body would be through the mountain pass on the /other side/ of the map from the dens, where Darrium, Tanzel, the cubs, Shakespeare, etc are at. It's impossible for anyone near Asera to be communicating with anyone from the dens.) OMEN
[/i] had to talk to them. She sat toward Mizuki, Shakespeare, and Lothaire's children. "I know you came here to watch over the children, to have them join, but I suggest they perhaps stay somewhere safer until capable of truly defending themselves. Not that La Morte can't protect itself.. when against a fair enemy." And to say the least, Meurtrier wasn't fair.[/ul][/blockquote]
