Do not post response until Kahara & Bladeliger have. And even after this, allow the members of LA MORTE to post to react to the news etc, however we won't wait long, as this has really been dragged out for quite some time already. After that, the party can post. Correction: Just post a part of before the fight, then the fight This is a time skip. If you have protests/questions - reasonable questions - you are more than welcome to side chat and ask away. But this is how it is happening and please be open minded to adaptation. I do have permission for the following pping and trust me I feel guilty about it even with permission. Please, please, please read it all. It took quite some time to do(over two hours) and I don't want to see a response to this need correcting because it was clear it had been skimmed through. Jericho Kain, Yasha Neko, Kardei Kain, Donato Donovan, Malluce Donovan, Shinku Crimson, Yasbi Neko, Cyber Donovan, Camry Novic, Diezel Suldan,
Jericho Kain was exhausted. There was no denying that. He had slowed to a steady walk in Savannah when night hit, had hunted a few other small critters and gulped them down while sharing with Atryn and had placed Atryn on his back so the cub could sleep comfortably. That dawn, he had crossed a cub during this expedition and had suggested she go home and tell her family there was danger near. Told her to stay there for the next few days just in case. Mon Amie her name was. He continued forth walking for an hour longer. Then he grasped the cub back in his jaws and took off at a run again.
His crossing through Savannah was short - thank goodness, because he could feel the heat burning through the air. Savannah had entered a drought it seemed. It made him cringe and thankful that he did not have to stay there long. The dead grass gave way to green grass once more. He ran forth, ears flicking back and forth. He paused once more to get a long drink from the raging waterfalls there, the Greatfalls as was it called. He allowed Atryn to drink as well, then grasped the cub once more and began again. He glanced around, trotting up and down the river's edge, then crossed the grand river, churning against the current. On the other side he shook his pelt and darted to a specific area.
He moved to one of the many cliff sides, where a tunnel was and without hesitation darted into the close corridors. The tunnels were tight, sometimes widening far enough to allow three to fit side by side, sometimes forcing him to duck and crawl through the tight holes. He ran in circles, and actually ended up at another entrance in Greatfalls before he cursed himself and paused to clear his head. Exiting from this area, he dashed around to a third different entrance and entered through there, crossing his own scent a few times.
But this entrance he knew, and he burst through the final exit of the tunnels his paws sinking into marshes as he did. Jericho gave a heavy sigh of relief, then tensed when a scent he did not know appeared. He placed Atryn on his back, and told the cub to keep still and quiet. A dark pelted male snarled at him before another voice spoke.
"Jericho!"
The snarling stopped. Semi-far off at small distance to the border's edge, one Yasha Neko stood, Najisi Kain at her side. The male stepped back, eyeing Jericho briefly before nodding his head for Jericho to join them. His eyes kept sight on the tunnel, flicking his ear to Jericho's loud words as he spoke.
"Najisi! I'm so glad to see you, we need to get home. Now. I have a tail. And..." Jericho paused. "I stole Cocaine's cub."
The silence was deafening. With this distraction, a creature burst from the tunnels, and instantly Kardei snarled at the creature, lunging forward at him but already it took to the skies. Without hesitation Najisi flicked her tail at Jericho and they took off once more, Najisi leading Jericho home at last. Yasha and Kardei had refused to join them, for now. Instead deciding to watch the tunnels. Kardei had retreated to Yasha's side and they kept their distance. It was nearly twelve to fifteen hours later when they heard a thunderous sound from the tunnels. Yasha and Kardei shared a glance and instantly took off. Yasha knew she had cubs in Asylum, but she also knew this party who had to be following her baby, would ignore all other scents lurking around the area. She gave a semi-loud chuff to alert them of possible problems - they were more than welcome to join her or follow later. Kardei and Yasha took off, following a straight line to Arelth.
When Jericho had arrived with Najisi, he stumbled and Najisi let out a booming roar to call the pride. Placing the cub on his back once more, Jericho hung his head, his pelt ragged, eyes dull, panting harshly. Yasbi had been with Cyber when Najisi and Jericho arrived and she gasped instantly, jolting to her paws.
"Jericho!"
She rushed over, Cyber following more slowly after, but she paused when she caught sight of the cub, hesitating only slightly before she shoved her head under his chin. "Jericho, you're alright!" She purred loudly, her eyes misty.
Jericho gave her a quick hug in response before he coughed. "Need to -pant- lay down. There's a -pant- follower." However, right after, he grasped the cub back in his maw and should anyone have reached for the cub on his back, he would growl in warning.
Without a thought, Yasbi nodded, "This way." She brought Jericho straight to the dens, placing him in a semi small one, a cozy one, and Jericho collapsed in it instantly, exhausted. He hadn't even had time to admire the new lands before he was out like a light, curled tightly around Atryn as he murmured to the cub to stay with him no matter what.
Camry had been sitting off on his own when this stranger and Najisi barged in. His head snapped up and then he remember, La Morte was at war. Swallowing he stood and moved over to join the growing crowd. Yasbi had returned to Cyber's side, and if Casket should join the crowd, she would motion him over to hear what Najisi had to say. Curiosity prickled at his pelt, and should Sinna show up, he would move over to her side. Sinna was the only one he knew here as he had not taken the time to get to know the others quite yet. He had only arrived recently after all.
Cyber narrowed his eyes on the whole scene, concern made his fur stand on edge. Something big had gone down and as Jericho was seriously out of it, only Najisi knew what exactly had happened, and who Jericho had brought with him. When Reno showed, he would move closer slightly, the news that was going to be relayed already making him uneasy as to what it was.
Diezel jolted up at the booming roar and rushed to the entrance of the den, then he turned his head. "Hey! Hey guys, somethings happened!" He bounced excitedly on his paws, but patiently waited for permission to exit the den from his parents or his aunt.
Hours after the announcement was given, (Plenty of time for posts of LM members to react etc.) Yasha and Kardei burst into La Morte very similiar to the way Najisi and Jericho did. However, their news was far more grand. "Meurtrier is coming!" Yasha gasped out. It was all the news that was needed. For Yasha, considering Jericho's words earlier, there was no doubt that this was Meurtrier. It could have been no other. The two creatures whipped around to face the entrance, backing up to the other members of La Morte as they did so.

Donato had been awake early. He was used to traveling, so perhaps out of all of them, he had been least affected by the day before. He waited, watching as dawn slowly brightened the sky. He could barely see through the overgrowth, but he assumed that if the the light was bright enough to shine through, then the sun was up. Standing, Donato walked around, waking anyone who had not been awake.
Shinku woke up without preamble. He stood and stretched as much as he could in the area provided, and Malluce awoke with a jolt and growled softly at Donato's prodding before he remember where they were and what they were doing. Murmuring an apology he too, stood and stretched. Within minutes the party was off again.
They raced through the rest of Jungle, passed through Savannah easy, and thanks to Corvette's nose, crossed the river in Greatfalls to their second obstacle. The Tunnels. With Corvette still in the lead they entered, but it was clear the tunnels alone provided trouble for those of greater size and was extremely slow going as in some areas they had to funnel in one at a time, and others they had to crawl with their belly fur touching the ground and wings pressed tightly to their sides. Once more Shinku muttered to his uncle about being a cheater.
They exited back in Greatfalls though at first, and it irked them momentarily even though Corvette had not paused. They turned in a different direction and found themselves back in the Tunnels much to their disdain however found this part of the journey to be shorter. When they exited the Tunnels - one by one - they found themselves in probably one of the most marshy lands ever besides Marsh itself. Malluce cringed as his paws sunk into the Earth and Shinku and Donato both curled their lips back in disgust.
However, they realized there were multiple scents here, but that Jericho headed in one direction, and this scent was still semi-strong. Cocaine took the lead, thanking Corvette once more, and the party was off again. Shinku, Donato, and Malluce realized all soon enough that this path was straight - as straight as can be - and clearly they were nearing the end of their journey. Four scents mixed over each other - two stronger than Jericho's and the other one, but they followed strongly still. As they gained closer and closer, the adrenaline began pumping. There was going to be a fight. They knew it. They just didn't know La Morte was already waiting for them, although they could definitely assume so.
They were almost done. They were almost here. A mile away, Shinku ran at Neo's side like he had been the entire time. Malluce held back the snarl bubbling in his throat as they neared. Donato ran at Cocaine's flank, and brushed his wing against the Commander. Should the male look at him, he would nod. "Let's get your cub back." He said. They would try their damnest. Or probably die trying, if he remembered Cocaine's spirit at all. [/blockquote]

Najisi Kain The ess had been feeling off lately. Possibly guilt. So she had decided to go see Yasha. She had no idea what it would lead to. Pregnant queens need to learn to stay home. As they entered the area and called in the group. She panted a bit. She was not as exhausted as Jericho obviously, but her pregnancy was bothering her. She sighed and waited for the crowd to settle. "Things just got a lot more dangerous, La Morte. As you can see, Jericho's back. He escaped but had a tail. The cub with him? That happens to be none other than Cocaine's own son. No doubt Meur will be on us as soon as they realize, if they already haven't. We need to plan. We will not have a repeat of volcano. We are family, La Morte. We stick together. They will not break us!" She roared out. She was confident, but worry hid between the words. She was pregnant. These battles.. They seemed to take place when she was so vulnerable. So weak. "As for the cub. No one is to touch him or go near him until Reno, I and Jericho say so. For now, Jericho is his guardian. And treat the boy like one of us. He's a cub. Not a prisoner.." --------------------------------------- Things had settled for a moment. The next day was tense. She needed to figure out what to do with the cub. She noticed the boy was young. Probably still needing milk. She would surrogate. She was lactating from her pregnancy. She figured shed have enough to spare for the boy. But there was the issue of what to do with him besides that.. Jericho went through a lot to get the cub. It was likely that the two shared a bond.. Naji wanted to be seen as the cub's new mother.. but Jericho would need to be with him. But before she got a chance to go talk to the male, Yasha and Kardei, her newly reacquainted brother, burst into Arelth. Ears shot up immediately. Damnit. Her heart sank. Eyes glanced to her swollen belly for a moment. She was scared. No time for fear. Najisi let out a loud bellowing call. Laced with urgency. "How close behind you?" She growled, readying herself for the battle. They needed to be smart. This was THEIR home! They could use it against them. "Do we stand and meet them, or hide in tactical locations and ambush?"

COCAINE, FRACTURE, RENO, SLAUGHTER, DARRIUM, TANZEL, OMEN, DAZEON, SIAKON
There was peace in Arelth as the young napped and the adults watched over them. The dens were cool from mountain top Autumn breezes. Leaves ruffled in the soft wind, and the water surrounding their dens rippled, scaring the fish away from the surface. Slaughter had been out on an unsuccessful hunt. A fawn that had wandered too far from its mother. Unfortunately the neighborhood buck would have none of Slaughter. So the yellow beast had to walk back to camp with nothing to show for his try. The dominant, La Morte's King Reno, was sitting near on the sandy-rock hill that overlooked the fresh water on the opposite side of the dens. He had noticed Najisi, his mate and La Morte's queen, leaving more often. It wasn't safe, especially with them being at war and her being pregnant. Reno cared deeply about his love and wanted no harm to come to her. But he also knew she needed her time alone.
The peace shattered as Najisi rushed Arelth with Jericho and she let out a booming roar. Reno knew that meant trouble and at once he was on his paws, muscles tense. He'd approached in time to see Yasbi take Jericho and a cub away. He turned to Najisi and got all of the information that he needed. Fear, disappointment, and pride swelled deep in his chest. Of all of the cubs to risk, Jericho had taken Cocaine's. It was as if Jericho was suicidal. No doubt Meurtrier would come raining down on their peaceful parade because of this. On the upside, who knew Arelth better than La Morte? Jericho had successfully cub-napped one of the most dangerous commander's cubs in history so far. His claws sunk into the ground as he turned sharply toward the members of La Morte whom had already gathered. A win for La Morte; but this wasn't over.
They had many members since their last battle. A well protected home with many trees and hiding places for the young or pregnant. This time it was Meurtrier heading into unknown territory to attack La Morte. Although the splinter-group was on the defense, Reno strongly felt they had the upper hand. And this was all assuming that the follower had more than one with him. A single, stray Meurtrierian was no problem. But had he brought friends, La Morte would no doubt see the dawn with battle. They needed to be as ready as possible.
He would turn to Cyber specifically and inform him of every detail required for the coming days. Slaughter could be seen behind him. The yellow brute had taken it into his own paws to talk to Darrium. Darrium, the bloodbeast father, had strictly ordered his young to stay in the dens with Tanzel and Omen. Tanzel and Omen watched over the young as the male of the den headed out to see what was happening. He spoke with Slaughter and found out what he could. The air was thick and tense. That wouldn't keep Darrium from preparing however. He flew back to inform the family of what was going on before he U-turned and started to practice his skills with Slaughter. After Reno finished with Cyber, he'd stay close to Najisi, encouraging her that she stay away from the fight due to the pregnancy. But Najisi was queen, and the queen did as the queen pleased.
The rest of the day dragged on as they prepared themselves. Night fell and brought a cold breeze across their home. Reno didn't sleep much. The thought of war and battle was on his mind. Even more important, Najisi. She carried young and they had to be extra careful. And then there were the Suldans. And last, but not least, Atryn. The cub taken from Cocaine that was, likely, the entire cause of this mess. Still.. don't judge too soon. They had a chance of defeating Meurtrier in this battle and Reno was prepared to die for La Morte, for his mate, for his first unborns. The weight of the world seemed to rest on his shoulders and it made him restless. The cricketing didn't help much either.
Soon the sun was on the rise and dew set in. The grass was wet and soft beneath their paws. Reno had not gotten much sleep. Anxiety at times had him holding his jaw tightly shut, resulting in pain. He'd learned to loosen it up. Even began chewing on a stick at one point. Siakon had crawled in with her mother and step-father as well. She had trouble sleeping, but that was because she'd begun to suffer nightmares lately. Being around family helped ease them. But with Meurtrierian threats on the horizon, she found it even more difficult to sleep than usual. Perhaps Lothaire could help her out. She was one of the first out of the den to find him. Meanwhile, others began to rise. Some uneasy, some well rested. Slaughter slept rather well. He'd hidden himself in an unusual rock spot, just in case Meurtrier lunched on them. Darrium had guarded the dens with the young and others resting.
Birds began to chirp. Their usual morning routine. That was until the morning peace was broken and fear sank into the hearts of everyone there. It was very quiet. Eerily quiet. Reno didn't like it one bit. Meurtrier was on their way, as confirmed by Yasha and Kardei. They had to act fast. La Morte had no idea how many Meurtrier members had arrived, and among them, who was there. The thought of Jasper and Neo Crimson being among the fray was enough to cause Reno to clench his jaw again. It was only loosened when he turned to Najisi as she spoke. Others had began to gather with their leaders. Darrium, Slaughter, and Siakon. Tanzel, Omen, and the young were hiding in the dens, covered by the vegetation. Tanzel had told the children the be as quiet as possible.
"Those who are well fitted to tactic hiding and attacking, do so. Others will stand their ground here, with us. Najisi -- for us, please, stay out of harms way." He pleaded. This was life or death, and he couldn't bear losing her. Not after everything they had been through.
The morning in Jungle came fast, and everyone was packed and ready to go. Stomachs full, eyes open, aware and prepared. As with before, Corvette led them. Cocaine couldn't thank Neo enough for being thoughtful enough to grab the fish-feline to aide them in this very important mission. Which was, in all honest, a bit personal to Cocaine. Which was only natural. Atryn was his son with Ryssor.. not that he took a step over Stella's children with Cocaine, but Atryn was still so young. And grabbed, right beneath their noses! It made Cocaine's blood boil. Oh. The things he'll do to them. The things he'll do.
Fracture enjoyed the morning. It reminded him of mother and Odysseia. Their warmth and love. Cocaine's orders cut through his day-dreaming however. No time for that. He scrambled to his paws, nodded, and headed off with the gang. Each step was painful. They'd gone a long way already. But they would get Atryn back... it was Fracture's first mission after all. It had to be success. He'd go home, be victorious, celebrate with Odysseia and Stain. Even play with Atryn as one of the heroes of the day. Yes, that sounded nice.
Their next stop had been Savannah. Despite the great size of the yellow grasslands, they managed to make it through relatively quickly. Cocaine didn't stop much. They'd pause for a drink, but that was about it. Fracture complained several times of the heat before realizing he and Cocaine both had dark fur. So he couldn't be the only one suffering. Thankfully, they didn't stay in Savannah long. Next stop was greatfalls, and oh man, Fracture couldn't be happier. It was a beautiful place. He'd almost lost himself to thought. Cocaine would have none of it however and knocked him across the face to keep his attention on the mission. It was brief of course, nothing that put a puncture in their timely travels.
And then tunnels. Cocaine cursed his size. At one point he had to slide like a snake in the smallest of spots. It made for quite the sight. Fracture managed to keep himself from laughing though. Didn't need the commander smacking him again.. even if it may have been worth it. No headaches, please and thanks! The rest of the tunnels were smooth. They got out and.. marsh? No. This was worse than marsh. Not your typical marshlands. It was absolutely disgusting. But that didn't matter to Cocaine. They were close. he could feel it.
"I'm coming for you, son." [/color] He growled beneath his breath and pushed on with Corvette. Eventually the scents became strong and he could lead. Forward, march! They were on the clock. Racing to the victory line. Fracture could practically feel his heart beating out of his chest. Cold air pierced his lungs and his muscles stung, but he kept going. The same could be said for Cocaine. But he was holding back a little. The best was reserved for last. Jericho was his. Step by step. Inch by inch. They were getting there. Cocaine came to a slow as the scent became overbearing. La Morte had to be here somewhere. He paused and gave everyone a chance to catch their breath. The land before them reminded him of Shadow Veldt, but it was different. He had never seen it before. Each breath brought in cold air, but rather than chill him, it fueled him. It was motivation. Get his son, kill Jericho, go home. Kill others, if given the chance, but they were here to take Atryn home above all else. He turned to the gang. "This is it. Spread out along me, not too far. When I give the signal, you charge. You charge like your fucking life depends on it. When we see them, halt and wait for me again." He said. When everyone had fanned out, he began to march forward. The ground was soft, then hard.. rock. Then grass again. They moved in and.. there. La Morte. Reno's eyes widened as he turned to Cocaine. Lips pulled back in a snarl. Those who wanted to take tactical positions had already done so. And now it was La Morte versus the search party of Meurtrier. They stood off, eye to eye, several tail lengths away from each other. Cocaine swayed from side to side as he leveled his weight. Reno did the same. Darrium had flared his wings out in a display of anger, while Slaughter flexed his claws. This was war.Cocaine lifted his head. "DADDY'S HERE, ATRYN!" He roared, a sly smile on his face. His tail flicked to those with him. ATTACK!Fracture roared and ran at the La Morte warriors. Icy cold air filled his lungs as he panted. Paws beat against the ground as he lunged forward, prepared to attack the first enemy warrior to come his way. Cocaine had run forward, as if to leap at Reno, but he swiftly turned away and began to circle the area. Oh, no, the commander had no intentions of fighting. Not yet. He wanted to know the land. He wanted to find his son. Reno snarled in surprised and turned to see as the giant commander took off. Not exactly like Cocaine was good at hiding, but someone would get him. For now, Reno turned to aide his warriors. Darrium immediately took to the sky, ready to attack from above, while Slaughter slid and weaved around others for the perfect target.[/ul][/blockquote]

WG, you have control of Atryn now for the most part! 8) Jericho Kain, Yasha Neko, Kardei Kain, Donato Donovan, Malluce Donovan, Shinku Crimson, Yasbi Neko, Cyber Donovan, Camry Novic, Diezel Suldan.
Jericho slept the full twelve to fifteen hours that were given. When he awoke, there was food granted in front of him and he gulped the majority of it down, also giving some to Atryn. He walked out of the den, and took a good look around before drinking some water out of a leaf that was laid out for him. Then Yasbi looked at him seriously. "Come." was all she said. Jericho went back and grasped Atryn and followed his sister.
She lead him over to Tanzel and Omen. "I hope you two don't mind him being here, as well as Najisi should she need it. The closer the targets are kept the better." She told them, her voice semi-pleading. But they didn't really have a choice as this was a firm plan. "Should anything happen we'll all fall back to protect the cubs."
However another roar burst through and Yasbi jerked around. "Stay here!" She snapped at Jericho, and lunged forward. Jericho looked at the cubs, eyes wide. His heart hammered in his chest at Yasha's call and he squeezed his eyes shut then looked at the two blood beasts. "I'll do my best to make sure nothing happens to them." He murmured softly, then took Atryn to the farthest area of the den. "I need you to stay here, Atryn... Remember what I said about your mother being sick." He told him softly, and gently caressed the cubs cheek with his paw. "Please, Atryn. Stay here." He nuzzled Atryn gently, and then moved to the entrance of the den, eyes glittering sharply. He should be out there, but he knew if anything happened to him, it would all be nearly over. However he would put his life first before these two ladies. And he was feeling far more refreshed now than ever.
Diezel had pouted in near anger at the fact dad told him to stay put. He turned away and walked over to his siblings but looked up curiously at the new male. Who was this male? This male that Yasbi was bossing around? Was he a prisoner? No, he couldn't be. He wouldn't pledge to protect them if he were. Diezel frowned in confusion. "Mom, what's going on?"
The soft voice made Jericho flinch.
Yasbi's claws raked the earth as she lunged into the clearing. Yasha and Kardei panted as they faced the entrance, their lips curled back into silent snarls. Yasha answered Najisi's question. "Right behind us."
"There should be about ten of them." Kardei finished. However, immediately they realized that other creatures where in tactical positions. But their eyes did not give this away. Camry had moved up a few rocks, ready to jump down on anyone and rip them apart. He couldn't believe he was risking his life this early on for La Morte, but he knew him being here put him on the list as a target automatically. It fecking sucked and he found himself furious because of it, but he remained quiet.
Yasbi and Cyber looked at one another, and nodded. "Be safe, Yasbi." He told her, and she flicked her tail in acknowledgment as she lunged up the other side of the rocks in preparation. Yasbi turned to her mother though, and whispered softly before the party came into sights. "Mom.. Help me with Jericho." Yasha flicked her tail to acknowledge she heard.
Then Yasha lowered her voice to speak to Kardei. "You didn't have to come."
"My sister is here, pregnant, as well as the creature who was my companion the past few months. I'm not leaving either of you." Kardei responded bluntly.
Cyber remained close to Reno though, his lips pulled back as he kept his eyes peeled for a certain shade of red. A certain one who had killed his brother. Camry's gaze flicked to the side, looking for Sinna once more. For some reason he felt obligated to her, and in a way it irked him, especially because she was the reason he was here in the first place. Sighing he focused once more.
The air was silent, so silent. The birds had stopped chirping and had long gone. It was tense. Hackles were raised and the air was thick and tense. Hearts hammered within their chests, even if they had many members this time, they had no idea who their opponents would be. It was beyond adrenaline rushing now. They felt and heard nothing until they heard the pounding of paws, Cocaine's roar. It made them tense further. And then the party came into sight, and snarls, growls, roars burst forth into the air.
Time was up.
Malluce snarled as he lunged forward racing at Shinku's side. Donato roared as he charged beside Cocaine, only to be dropped down on from above. Camry slammed on top of Donato, his claws breaking into the beast's skin, fangs grasping the male's scruff. Donato buckled under the weight and the two creatures went sprawling off to the side with the force.
Yasha flicked her tail to Kardei, and as one they skirted past Reno and both lunged at Cocaine together, one at his back side, the other at his front. Cocaine wanted his son. Yasha wanted to protect hers. 'Get him Yasha!' Her demon's strength filled her. Cocaine was her goal, along side Kardei she was confident. No matter where Cocaine would turn, they would lunge at him repeatedly.
Cyber didn't spot his chosen attacker, and found himself face to face with Malluce and Shinku. Standing close to Reno as he was, he snarled at the two of them and lunged forward with slashing claws. Malluce slammed into Cyber, and the two of them rolled into a furious growling battle. Shinku roared at Reno and spotted Najisi's belly at the same time. He decided not to bother with her. He was no cub murder. Instead he lashed out at his chosen opponent.
Yasbi lunged down on the first Meurtrier member that passed her way, her growls echoing loudly among the area. [/blockquote]

Najisi Kain The ess tensed as Yasha warned. She was then told to stay back. One more look at her stomach and she turned to Reno. She was noticeable. It was obvious she was pregnant. For the first time, Najisi understood strength. Her unborn needed her. She brushed against Reno and put her head on his chest. Her eyes watery with fear. "Don't die on me. I need you. They need you.. So don't you dare die.." She whispered to him. She would hang back. She would fight if needed, but she would hang back and fall back into the dens should she need. "I'll protect the dens." She said and began to fall back. She hated this. She wanted to fight. Her pride.. Her family.. They needed her. But before she could even take another step, they had come. She froze as one landed near her but was intercepted by Cyber. She gave Reno a final nod and began to head toward the den. Her movements were slow. She tried to weave behind bushes and lions alike. Trying not to show that she was pregnant. She wanted to turn around and charge, but a firm pain in her abdomen stopped her from changing her mind. A kick? It was as if even the cubs were telling her to sit out. Asera Kain-Suldan The teen was angry. More Meur? No! She didn't want them around her family. They took her sister. She wasn't going to let them take any more siblings! They had been training. Been preparing. They were old enough to earn ranks in the pride now. This meant they were old enough to fight. As the invaders charged in, Asera sized up the targets. Before she could choose, she saw her sister's betrothed leap at a male. No! If he got hurt, or killed.. The alliance! The grey ess took to the skies and roared. She then dove directly at Camry and Donato. She wanted the Meurtrier's full attention. That way Camry wouldn't get hurt and the aliiance wouldn't be ruined. Plus.. if he died.. What would the Guild do to her brother, Vaska? "Camry!"

Atryn & Sinna & Casket
Atryn shivered as Jericho slid him to the furthest side of the den, and a soft whimper escaped his tiny maw. "Okay Jerry...." He whispered, curling into himself as calls yowled from outside. His heart beat in his chest, fear, almost to the point of it hurting. Little blues gazed around, wanting so desperately to shove his face into someones fur like he had done with his friend, or even his mother, but he knew no one. Even in the short time he was there, he wasn't deaf to the order for no one to come near him. He felt sick... He felt lonely...
The faint sound of a familiar voice filled his ears... And the slightest of urges wanted him to explore, but he couldn't let down his friend, not after he had helped him so much...
Sinna burst from the den she had been sleeping, whipping around at the call- Meurtrier had arrived. Her hackles raised, and her lip curled viciously, oh she had waited for the opportunity to rip into the pride that had taken her sister, she had waited a while. Her ears swiveled suddenly, remembering her betrothed, she whipped her head around to look for him hastily.
"Camry!" She huffed, seeing him and another male already getting into something. God he probably wouldn't be happy later. Fuck, he could deal with it. Before she could spring into the fight, her sister had it covered, leaping at the two males before she could even get there. She had it covered, but Sinna would keep an eye on the situation heavily. Neither her sister nor her future mate were going to get hurt today, if she could make damn sure.
Spotting a black Meurtrier male coming her way (Fracture), she lunged at him, colliding with him in his path. Tumbling, snarling, hissing- she would get some revenge today if she could help it.
Casket had not joined the fight; but he sure worried. In the dens with his mother, he had taken some herbs and prepared them for the battle beforehand, knowing that preparation was key here. If any member needed him, he would be there to prove his worth to his mother's pride. Glancing at Najisi, he sighed heavily at the tensions going on outside. "Are you alright mom?"

The timing of all this drama was most unfortunate for their elder visitor, for he was still exhausted and needing of rest. His back legs have gotten rather bad, too, which caused his stay to be longer than expected. Still... He spent his days making it worthwhile, and stuck with the La Morte youth, telling them stories and helping to babysit. It was the least he could do for their hospitality.
The fact that there was a cub napping was heavily disapproved by the Malefactor Mix. But he did not express it vocally; no... But he did frown at Jericho at some point during the day, and given the chance he'd give the youngster some TLC - poor thing must've been exhausted...
Still, hours after the incident, the elder found himself in the very same den as the entirety of the prides offspring. There was an attack, Meurtrier was trying to reclaim their cub. Shakespeare was torn; oh how he'd love to return the cub, but he knew this was not his place, business, and would be the worst way possible to express his gratitude to La Morte for helping him. On the other hand... Shakespeare was an elder. He would not be able to fight should they be found by Meurtrier. He'd try. He'd prioritize the protection of the La Morte cubs with everything he could. But if they were attacked, he'd surrender the stolen cub if it would spare the lives of the La Morte cubs and himself.
The old Malefactor mix peaked out of the den, ears twitching as roars echoed across the lands. He could not see anything yet, not with his old eyes... Shakespeare then returned to the cubs, offering comfort in the form of someone to huddle with.

Azul Suldan & Influence & Caylis
Azul curled up behind Shakespeare. "I-I'm scared... is La Morte gonna be okay?!" she whimpered, tears spilling down her face. "I wanna go help them!" she cried, sobbing, it was the first time that she felt so scared.. so alone. Was this what it felt like to be a warrior? She shuddered.. Dazeon was right, she'd rather be a child than a warrior!
Influence roared and took to the skies. "GET THE HELL OFF OF OUR TERRITORY!" he snarled, which he clashed with Caylis, her teeth bared. "YOU BASTARD! YOU'LL PAY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" Influence screeched in Caylis's ear which she roared back. "No! I will not break down like you've done to me before! Meurtrier will stay strong, I'll die to defend it!"
Influence smirked, he had the upper hand on this; Meurtrier had no way of finding out their territory so easily. Both Influence and Caylis took down and wrestled violently against the grass, blood splattering against the soft green grass and rock. A screech of rage erupted from Caylis as she leaped and landed on Influence's back, biting down on his neck, her muzzle splattered with blood before Influence threw her off violently, his blue eyes turning a bright red; he was not to be messed with.. he was more prone to attack.
Caylis was thrown against a rock, she grunted before getting up and her blue eyes turned to a bright red, flames burning in her eyes; her demon was coming. She laughed maniacally, "Oh, I've ALWAYS wanted a challenge like this!" she smirked as Influence bashed into her, head first and smashing her on her back, his eyes bloodthirsty and full with endless hatred. "Oh, sweet Caylis.. you won't be coming back for a while.. hmhm." he grinned, his gaze full with malice before he grabbed her scruff and took to the skies. "M'LORD! I'VE CAUGHT A CAPTIVE!" he roared, showing his catch, Caylis was obviously trying to fight back. "YOU.. BASTARD! I HAVE CHILDREN BACK THERE WAITING FOR ME! YOU'RE NOT GOING TO RUIN IT FOR ME!" she snarled, slashing Influence's eye, which the crimson BloodBeast screamed in pain and took a powerful blow with his large paw against her skull, knocking her out.
I think.. I may have to come a little bit late.. i'm sorry Cassius.. Kazbek.. Estavan.. Iarri.. Kodiac...
Blackout.

Neo yawned as he weaved around Corvette's ankles when they stopped. This small body would not deplete his vast energy reserves, thus he could avoid having to hunt at all. He tilted his head toward Cocaine and scouted about for a place to rest. Inside a hollow log, he found a pile of dry leaves. His ears perked, as he was pleased by this discovery and quickly went inside, though not yet onto the leaves. He began to groom himself, straightening the long, ebony fur so that it laid nicely. Corvette slept near the entrance to the log, awaiting the next day, having binged on food yesterday.
The next day brought excitement. Corvette continued to lead them, out of the jungle and into a dry place that they left quickly, as the land shark was not suited for the Savannah at all. Through the great falls and tunnels, they were fine, Neo pleased with his more nimble shape for this. The marshes were fine for Corvette and his webbed paws, but the rest of the patrol was unsuited for such. Neo decided to hitch a ride on the back of the tracker at that point. Corvette wrinkled his nose as they got closer. "There are many felines here," he grunted, baring his teeth. His pupils dilated slightly as he turned his gaze to Cocaine. "I think we have found La Morte."
As everyone darted, Corvette was fast, pupils dilating until his eyes were all black. He went for whoever wanted to fight a freak. And he doubted he looked inviting with his jaws open, revealing rows of triangles behind his permanent feline teeth. Huge claws pulled the ground up with each stride as he leapt at Yasbi, fangs aimed for her shoulder.
A small black cat moved a bit too fast for others to see, under paws, into the middle of the fray. Mist streamed from him, and suddenly a huge monster was in their midst, silent with fangs bared. Neo was quite easily the largest there, and with how a tree fell from the swipe of his paw, he was probably the most terrifying as well. Huge sabers hung over his lips. Who ever came closest would likely be swatted aside like a fly, as even the only other creature that came close to him in height was over a meter shorter than him. His wingspan was greater still and he used those as weapons in a fight as well. A bellow erupted from his chest and made the ground shudder just slightly. He shoved through the wave of members, snapping at anything in range. A direct bite would quite easily crush bones into powder.
Sardon had been hiding, waiting to ambush. He saw the hulking black, horned monster and decided he would be the first to attempt. He lunged out his place and onto Neo's back, attempting to sink his fangs into the brute's neck. It looked like a cub attack its parent. Neo shook him off and sent the panther mutt flying almost twenty feel away. He shook himself off and targeted another member, conceding he was no good foe for the great beast he had seen.
Victor had paced outside the cub's den for a while, near Shakespeare. He was not able to be idle during a fight. He looked incredibly agitated, tail lashing constantly. When Najisi came, he tilted his head but bolted out. "I'll be back," the dark brute called. It may have been unfitting for a healer to fight, but he had not stater out on the peaceful path. He reached the fight and looked for a member who was in trouble. He immediately zeroed in on Cyber and darted down the hill fast, plowing through bushes and the like until he reached him, hopefully barreling into Malluce.

((Just putting this out here since everyone seems to be misunderstanding. Naji hasd yet to reach the dens. She is slowly making her way there. Until I post she has made it, she hasn't. x.x For those that posted reactions in the den to her, She's not there yet.))

COCAINE, RENO, FRACTURE, SLAUGHTER, DARRIUM, TANZEL, OMEN, DAZEON, SIAKON
[/i][/color] His voice boomed again. Atryn was to hear him, his father was here. He was on his way to the dens. Fracture hadn't expected to be taken on so quickly. It was his first fight in a very long time, and he was, unfortunately, inexperienced. He would do his best though! Fracture inhaled sharply as he leaped up from the tumbled mess that had been he and Sinna. His muscles burned. The search party had come a long way to get where they were. A fight was the last thing Fracture honestly wanted. But he knew it would happen. That it'd been a possibility when he signed up to go on this mission. "WHERE'S ATRYN?" He snarled, then lunged at Sinna. He wanted to headbutt her chest, cause her to gasp and perhaps fall back. Darrium was still in the air. He waited to see who needed help most, or if a Meurtrierian should go too far, he'd target them. However the giant-ass demon saber thing was way out of his league. No way he'd attack that beast. Same could be said for Slaughter, but Slaughter wanted to stick to his name. At everyone who passed, he's slash and slice, trying to avoid the giant beast from way above his head. Unfortunately, he wasn't careful enough. Slaughter was one of the few tossed by Neo. He hit the lower half of the mountain side and let out a screech of pain. Something had broken. He got to his paws slowly.. no legs.. it had to be his ribs. Yes, definitely. It hurt to breath. But he couldn't stop. Not yet. Slaughter began to make his way down, then notice Cocaine had taken off through the pass toward the dens. Slaughter, with what energy he had, raced over the tops, scrambling to beat Cocaine. Surely the large beast would be slowed by the two attached to him. Reno nodded to Najisi. Good. She'd be safe.. and so they were in battle. He was in the sky with Darrium soon. They saw Influence flying around Neo.. not safe, but their best bet. Each male began to fly in rapid circles and zig zags around Neo, attempting to confuse him, or at least occupy him with trivial stuff. Reno would stop to help anyone who called. Back in the dens, Dazeon was terribly frightened. A stranger cub in the den with a male who looked very protective.. and an elder lion, Shakespeare. He'd played with his tail before. Tanzel stood guard at the den entrance while Omen sat in the middle tree's top, eyes open for any intruders. Dazeon crawled slowly over to Shakespeare and curled up.[/ul][/blockquote]

Influence & Caylis & Azul Suldan
The BloodBeast dropped Caylis gently in a hidden den and flexed his wings before taking flight and was heading to take Neo Crimson head-on. However, he wasn't going to go straight for him, he zig-zagged around him and attempted to land on his massive back and thrash around on his back, trying to sink his teeth in, he was a tough guy and wouldn't back down from a fight. Not ever! He roared for more La Morte members to come if need be.
Caylis is unconcious in a hidden den, she will be held captive but someone could try and rescue her.
Azul whimpered as Cocaine came closer to the dens, she shuddered before nuzzling any one of her siblings. "What's happening?" she whimpered, her eyes full of horror.

Atryn & Sinna & Casket & Nini
Atryn's little ears perked, and his blue eyes widened. He was being called, the will to go nagged at him badly... He stood, and took two paces before stopping, his tail drooping. Jerry told me to stay. He thought, but what if that was Jerry? Did he need help? Fear made his pelt prickle, he should help him shouldn't he? Another few paces, and he came across an older male that had settled in the den of cubs. "Are... Are they calling me?" He mewed to the blue male, water gathering at the base of his eyes, this was a hard decision for the cub to make. Stay or run, his instincts told him to stay, heart to run.
Please, Atryn, stay here...
Sinna gasped as the male butted her chest, sending her flying back. Struggling to regain her breath, she rasped as the male fell on top of her- a paw of unsheathed claws rang out to slam into his face. "I'LL TELL YOU WHEN I GET MY SISTER BACK!" She roared, back feet lunging up to kick his stomach. Fracture may have had the will to find someone else's cub- but for Sinna, it was personal. Hate could fuel her fire for a long time, and she had a lot in her.
Casket hasn't seen mommy yet because she isn't in the den but pretend he says that to her when she walks in I'M SORRY. Nini is also in the cub den, huddling by siblings.

Yasha, Kardei, Yasbi, Camry, Cyber, Donato, Malluce, Shinku, Diezel, Jericho.
Diezel moved over to the new cub after Atryn had gone to Shakespeare. trying his best to ignore the sounds outside. "Hey, what's your name?" A large voice boomed though, calling a name. And it was getting closer. Diezel watched the entrance, fear pulsing through him.
Jericho's hackles rose and a low snarl bubbled in his throat as he watched the entrance. He flicked a glance at Atryn as he approached Shakespeare, and narrowed his eyes at the elder male for a brief moment before he turned forward once more. He stepped out into the clearing. He would need to face Cocaine. He didn't know he was getting help along the way though.
Yasha growled loudly. One hit from a rock on the wall made her half fall off, but she fiercely scratched at his sides and scrambled upwards onto his back as Kardei scratched at Cocaine multiple times with his back paws. He buried his fangs into Cocaine's shoulder, holding on like parasite Cocaine thought them to be. Yasha then moved to grasp at Cocaine's scruff, piercing the flesh with her fangs and she yanked repeatedly at it, like a rider holding the horse's bridle.
Yasbi had fallen in front of Corvette short, timing her jump on the creature badly. Her ears perked in curiosity at the males' appearance but she ignored it, pinning her ears back as she lunged forward to bowl into him. His fangs grazed her shoulder, but she had ducked down to slam into Corvette's chest. And then her gaze caught sight of Najisi retreating, and then Cocaine lunged in that direction. The cubs! Regardless of what the reaction was from Corvette, she whirled on her paws and lunged in that direction,
Cyber blinked in surprise as Malluce tumbled off of him and he saw Victor. Snarling he joined Victor, nodding his gratitude. Malluce yelped at the force he was slammed into and he whirled around, lashing a paw out at the male's face, hoping to catch him on his mouth. Cyber snarled and shoved at Malluce (in which case if Alice is okay with this, Cyber would shove Malluce away from Victor just as Malluce grasped Victor's tongue with his claws and there.) Then Cyber glanced to the side. He waved his tail to Victor, knowing the male could take on Victor on his own, and slammed into Shinku who had went to lunge at Reno. Cyber then saw Yasbi take off in a different direction and he called for Sardon. "Get that creature!" He flicked his tail at Corvette and hopefully Sardon would listen and Yasbi could go safely.
Donato roared at the extra weight that attacked him, and he rolled over onto his side, shoving Camry down underneath his weight. One paw pressed against Camry's chest, and Camry heaved underneath the weight of Donato, his breath escaping him quickly. However he saw Asera, saw Sinna's sister come to help him and surprise filled him for a moment, but it did nothing to help him as Donato lashed out claws at Asera's head. His eyes flicked over to Sinna as well, and he saw her too. Panic filled him briefly as his eyes flicked between the two females. "NO!" Camry roared loudly, and he scrambled to try and weave out from under Donato but he couldn't and the claws digging into his chest hurt him.

Najisi Kain Naji had managed to slip off unseen. So it seemed anyway. She was worried and stressed. Reno and her cubs were back there fighting. She felt almost ill. The worry gnawing on her stomach. She had been ahead of Cocaine, but she could hear steps and battle moving behind her. Like a struggle. She hit the bridge and picked up the pace. She could hear Coke and his combatants nearing the dens. Shit.. "Tanzel, Omen, Jericho, Get the cubs-- All of them, to the farthest den possible. We're going to have company.." She growled. She didn't want Jericho fighting. He was still recovering from his long trek. His job was far more important. He was to guard Atryn fully. They were not letting Meur have their cub back. Not unless Zenith was Returned. Maybe even Osic being 'handed over' if he was still alive as well. "Casket, Victor, Siakon (If she's there)... Get read for a fight. Victor, I want you up on the ledge, hidden by the trees. If it's more then one, we force them to fight one at a time, one on one. The bridge is the only way into the dens. The cliffs are too steep should some be pushed into the water. We stand guard here." ---------------------------------- Asera Kain-Suldan The fae snarled as claws caught her muzzle. But she kept coming. Her own claws lashing at Donato and her wings Buffeting at his face. "Camry! Go! Help my sister!" She roared as she struggled to fight the larger male. This was her first fight ever. She had no idea what she was doing. Just that she wanted Meur to pay for taking Zenith. "This is for Zenith and Mom!" She snarled and lunged again. She aimed at his throat. It was a clumsy and inexperienced move. One that left her wide open for a counter.
