Donato, Camry, and Jericho
Jericho blinked when Najisi appeared but he nodded to her and whirled around. Carefully he made his way over to where the cubs where and gently nosed them back. His eyes settled on Shakespeare. "I don't know you nor care, but you also must move to the farthest edge of the den." Jericho held out a paw for the blue male. "Let me help you get there." However, as he did so, he leaned down and nuzzled Atryn gently. "It's okay little one." He murmured to him gently. "They're calling you, but you don't have to go." He told him softly, then gently picked Atryn up by the scruff. He kept his paw held up for Shakespeare to grasp if he wanted to so that he could help the elder up.
Donato shifted in the slightest when Asera lunged at his throat. He shoved his own wings in her face to shove her back - but that slight shifting was all Camry needed. He struggled out from under Donato and then nodded to Asera. "Be careful!" He called to her, then lunged across the filed towards Sinna and the black male. His intent was to knock Fracture away from Sinna and grasp Fracture's scruff to drag him away from his betrothed.
With Camry gone Donato roared in anger, and lurched onto his paws, now standing taller than Asera. "Where's the cub, young one?" He hissed at her, lashing another paw at her before lunging forward to barrel her over onto her back. [/blockquote]

everyone lol
[/i][/color] He roared and lashed out as his attackers kept at him. "DADDY'S HERE, SON, I'LL TAKE YOU TO--" He was cut off again. This time, Slaughter had leaped away from the roll and attack and swipes of the enemy commander and leaped up to cling to the underside of Cocaine's neck. With a large paw he swiped at Slaughter, sending the yellow beast sliding into the water with a splash. But Slaughter had been through worse in his younger years. He'd be damned if he let this get to him now. "ATRYN!"[/color] Cocaine roared. He sounded, almost, desperate. Siakon readied herself beside Omen as they watched. It was too close for comfort. Soon, they'd find themselves fighting the commander, or at the very least, talking to him. Which was frightening for Siakon in of itself. Perhaps a deal could be made.. she quickly turned to her mother, fear on her face. "M-mom, what if we ask for Zenith in return for Atryn? A trade..?" She nearly pleaded. This could be their chance! The child in return for Zenith. It was perfect.. Omen had nothing to say, though she couldn't argue the logic of Siakon. However, neither of them knew how Cocaine may react. He could very well take Atryn and keep Zenith all the same. Darrium was still flying around Neo when he saw Asera and Camry being attacked by Donato. Rage filled within. He turned away from Neo and bee-lined Donato. Wings began to hurt from the force he was putting into this. There was a chance he'd be too late, and Donate would still hit Asera, but Darrium had to try. Then he saw Camry get free-- good! He went to help Sinna. But Asera still needed his help, so Darrium continued to head right down to Donato. No one hurt his family, no one! Reno watched briefly as Darrium went down to help, but he returned his attention to Neo and continued the zig zag method. It was there only hope for a monster this big. First his face, then his stomach. Fracture was knocked back some distance with a vicious snarl. He struggled to his paws again. Despite the age gap between them, they were evenly matched. Neither had much training experience. He lashed a forepaw at Sinna again and began to relentlessly bat at her. It was a tactic he used in hopes of seeing her dazed and confused. However two swats in, successful or not, someone hit him like a train and he found himself being dragged away. He flailed and turned, twisting and tearing his own scruff as he regained balance in an attempt to lash out at Camry. In the den, Dazeon began to whimper and crawled into the far part of the den, face in Shakespeare's fur.[/ul][/blockquote]

Dreamless, and the male awoke without much comment the next morning. He kept up with the group without complaint and with each step through dry grass, tight spaces, and humid marshlands, he reminded himself of the mission. As they approached the territory, Crowther could feel the tension in the air. It weighed heavily on him, lowering his head and wings as they traveled. He moved according to the group, and stopped when the enemy was in sights. The journey behind him, Crowther knew what was in store. He remained confident and calm even as hostile words split the air. Suddenly, Crowther was in the midst of the battle, the war. A challenging snarl tore from him as he surged forward. By being a bit behind the others, he spared himself several vital seconds in which he gathered his bearings of the environment and targeted their enemies. Crowther took note of the aerial threat around Neo. Quickly finding himself some free space, he launched himself into the air and gained altitude until he had enough momentum to dive towards Influence and Reno in an attempt to slam Influence to the ground, where he could both aid Neo and take the bright red Bloodbeast out of his element.
Over the past few days, Porcelain had been making herself more at home in Arelth. The pale female had been mostly ignorant to current events surrounding the pride. She could make little sense of it anyway. There was, however, a buzz about one word that sent shivers through her and made her heart drop. Meurtrier. It happened so fast. She wasn't entirely unaware of the day's tension, but she thought the comfort of her father or caretakers could shelter her from just about anything. Her belief in this was strong, evident in the way she cowered near Shakespeare and hid her face in his fur. Some noises of the battle outside were more distant than others, but Porcelain could tell that the danger was increasing with each moment. "Shakespeare! I-I'm scared! Who's out there?" She gasped, peeling herself away from the older male and staring out the entrance. Her wings quivered and her voice shook. Her heart pounded as if it was trying to escape. "Dad! Mizuki!"

Najisi Kain Cocaine burst into view. This was it. Their final stand. Najisi's eyes widened as she saw Yasha and her brother on Coke. Fear gripped her. No. She wasn't about to lose any more family to Meurtrier! Siakon caught her attention. She already had a plan for that. But first they had to subdue the commander before they could try to strike a deal. "Stay here." Was all Najisi said to her cubs. Siakon and Casket. They were needed there. The pregnant female then charged straight for Cocaine to help the others. She didn't plan to fight long. Just enough to get him under control and talk. As he struggled with Kardei and Yasha, Najisi lunged at him head on, roaring loudly. She was getting her cubs back. Osic, Zenith.. Carnal.. She knew Carnal wouldn't ever agree. But to be allowed a chance to talk to her.. --------------- Asera Kain-Suldan Asera was hit hard. Donato crashed into her with full force. It hurt. It hurt bad. She let out a yelp of pain and fell to her back with Donato ontop. Blood ran from fresh wounds on her chest where Donato's claws tore into. "I won't tell you. You took my sister!" She growled. She kicked her legs at the male's belly, desperately trying to get away. She was scared. He was bigger than her. She never fought an actual opponent before. Just sparred with family. "L-let go.."

▲ Lothaire Long and Mizuki Blaatt
Mizuki had been given strict orders from Lothaire to keep the young away from the enemy and should things get worse; flee and never look back. The blue hellionss had been retreating to the den where the rest of the cubs were hiding along with a few adults and laid with tense muscles on the floor ready to lunge for the exit should a hostile face peek in. "I'm here Porcelain. I won't let them get you".
Somewhere else in Arelth was Lothaire, crouched down and well hidden by the thick vegetation around him. His ocean blues watched the battles from inbetween the leaves and bushes. The day had come, Meutrier had found them and Lothaire had sworn to fight for La Morte. But the male was struggling against his inner fears. He wanted to help, but the coward in him held him back.

Yasha, Kardei, Yasbi, Jericho, Cyber, Camry, Donato, Shinku
Shinku snarled as Cyber and lashed at him once before seeing Donato out of the corner of his eye. He took to the skies when he caught sight of a blood beast heading their way and intercepted him, taking the hit for Donato as he dug his claws into Darrium's shoulders, folding his wings inwards so they didn't land at awkward angles.
Donato snarled dangerously at Asera. "You took my prey." He hissed at her, his eyes flecked with red but still blue. He spotted Darrium and Shinku intercepting him and grinned wickedly. "You'll pay little one." He lunged for her throat.
Yasbi had finally caught up with the party and entered the den area. She too, leapt at Cocaine, avoiding Yasha, Slaughter, and Kardei as she did so and reached to grap his tail and yank it harshly back. Yasha roared loudly when Cocaine rolled over on the hard ground - being crushed was something she didn't favor but she held on tightly still snarling dangerously as she lashed her claws at Cocaine's neck. Kardei fell off with the role, not having Yasha's high tolerance for pain and hissed as he limped off a bit before lunging back into battle.
Cyber lost his opponent as he took to the air and growled viciously. His eyes darted around, and not knowing if Sardon had gone after Corvette or not, he lunged after the male himself, his eyes darting to the tunnel. Among that he saw Lothaire among the bushes. His bright pelt would not hide the male. "Lothaire! HELP!" He called out. "Help them!" His eyes ficked to Sinna and Camry. The two that were keeping the alliance alive as Camry took a vicious slash across his cheek, having not ducked in time.
But Camry kept going too, and lunged back at Fracture with his own claws out to slash at him as well. [/blockquote]

The elder was most grateful for Jericho's assistance, and took it. Speaking his thanks and joining the others into moving to the back of the dens. Once there, he resumed his 'duty' of helping the cubs feel safe and secure best he could.
All the others were on the defense. There was no getting out, and the Den was thick with stress. Shakespeare focused all his attention on the cubs, keeping them close. A warm embrace was all he could offer to help ease their fragile minds...
"Atryn, stay close now." He called to the poor sweet little hostage. So much distress from the youngsters, so many questions... All the elder could do is share his attention as equally as he could, nuzzling and whispering reassurances the best he could. Occasionally the Malefactor-mix would look to the den's entrance, and hope his friends out there were safe... The lives of the cubs and himself was entirely in their paws.
Oh Porcelain... As of recent, he had come to think of Lothaire's children as nieces, and so felt further protective over her. He licked the back of her small head in an attempt to reassure her. "Shhh, don't worry, your father will keep us all safe..." He whispered, closing his eyes briefly, then looking to Mizuki, then outside again... Please don't let us down, friend.

COCAINE, FRACTURE, SLAUGHTER, RENO, DARRIUM, TANZEL, OMEN, DAZEON
[/i][/color] He spat. Slaughter leaped at him again, but this time was flung back further. He coughed; blood. Najisi, Kardei, Yasha, and Yasbi were on -- Tanzel?! Slaughter watched as Tanzel threw herself right into Cocaine's face, slashing at his eyes. The commander yowled with pain and lashed out, but Tanzel rolled back in the air, spitting at him. Slaughter limped quickly across the bridge, collapsing in front of it. That was his last stand. And beside him hovered Tanzel, fur on end. Cocaine wasn't done though. Adrenaline pumped through his veins and kept him going. He was there. He could smell the children. Among them, his own flesh and blood, Atryn. He shook those around him away, knowing he had only a moment before they'd leap at him again. A medics visit after this was a no-brainer. He bled from a badly torn ear, his shoulders, and the scruff of his neck. Thankfully, in his age, mane tuft had begun to grow around his neck areas. For the most part, it aided him in protecting his under-neck. "ATRYN! RUN TO DADDY, MUMMY WANTS TO SEE YOU!" He called again, hopeful his child would run to him. Why hadn't he already? Did they kill Atryn? The very thought made the commander's blood boil. He began to charge through the trees, but when presented with the bridge, he halted and glared across. His lips curled up in a vicious snarl. "SON! THEY--" Tanzel and Omen had taken to the sky and dove at Cocaine from the side. It send them into the warm water. A small wave washed up over the bridge and Tanzel and Omen both lashed out at Cocaine from the waves. The commander began to pull himself out. A few parasites were bearable, but now this was overwhelming. Yet it only fueled his anger. There was no room in him for exceptions. He'd get his son or die trying. Siakon was back in the battle. She saw Asera and Donato.. "NO!!" She screamed and leaped at Donato, hoping, praying, she'd get there in time.. Meanwhile, Fracture lashed out more viciously at Camry. He took several blows to the head and felt dizzy, but if he stopped now, it could mean death... so he kept going. Batting and attacking Camry with all of his might. Then he'd turn and do the same to Sinna. Unaware someone lurked nearby..[/ul][/blockquote]

He realized that the La Morte leader had come to the aid of Influence, but Crowther met him without hesitation. At that speed, it wasn't like he had much of a choice. He fell with the other male, growling as Reno's claws dug into him. He jerked his head out of the way, trying to keep his eyes out of reach. Crowther attempted to wrestle Reno entirely underneath him in hopes that the dominant male would take the impact of the fall. Uneven flaps of his dark wings caused a bit of imbalance so he tucked them in close, not wanting to fracture one of them.
Porcelain's heart continued to leap at the sounds of roaring, thumping, and fighting. Upon seeing Mizuki, the young female glanced at Shakespeare before running shakily towards her guardian. "Please, Mizuki! Don't get hurt!" She was tempted to peek around the blue hellion, but she restrained herself and even backed up a few steps. "Dad! Lothaire! Is he out there?" The last stitch of her security blanket. She wanted to see him, to know that he was alright. When would he come back? Would he come back at all? She whimpered at the thought.

Najisi Kain Naji was hit hard and flung back. She rolled and landed on the bridge. Blood splattered on her chest where she was struck away from the out of control male. She felt a sharp pinch in her abdomen. Not like the previous kick. Had the jolt hurt something? This battle needed to end fast. A deal couldn't be settled. Not yet. Not with the brute so crazed. Najisi stood, groaning a bit and wincing. She hurt. She moved back to the dens as Coke was sent into the water. It was there she let out a loud echoing roar. "Cocaine!" She snarled and stood infront of the others at the den. She would never have thought shed stoop this low. But with him bearing down on the dens, the others would likely soon follow. They couldn't endanger the lives of the cubs. "Your son lives. But for how much longer depends on you. Call off your attack. Leave this place and your boy will remain alive. We WILL kill him if you continue. I can issue the order right now, Cocaine. Back off, leave. Or watch your son perish." She growled in full seriousness. She meant business. Would Coke risk his cub's life? Naji was in fact bluffing. But it was a strong bluff. Killing the cub would only cause him to enrage. But could he really take that chance? If she could get Coke to call off the raid and send meurtrier in retreat, then a deal can be arranged later at a less.. violent meeting. Of course, this was only happening at the dens. The others likely wouldn't even know about this until something happened. "So what's more important, Coke. Revenge, or Atryn's life?" ------------------------- Asera Kain-Suldan Asera squeaked as her throat was grabbed. She knew this was bad. Slowly she could feel his fangs pierce in. Blood slowly trickled down. Everything was amplified for Asera. Slowly her breath was being cut off. "N-no.. Please.. I.. I don't.." Each word was a sruggle. She was scared. Desperate to break free, Asera clawed at Donato's face and chest. Her legs kicked out at him but it was to no avail. He was too strong. "I'm.. Please.. Dont.. Want.. Die.." She gasped. Suddenly, her airway was tight. She gasped., Whimpered and struggled. She didn't want to die.. She was afraid of it. With the last ounce of air she had, she cried out. "Mommy!!! Daddy!!!" Tears fell from her eyes and she began to shake. This was it. She couldn't breathe anymore. She tried but she couldn't gulp in any air. Naji didn't come.. But she knew where her mother was.. Would Reno.. the one she consdidered her father come? She looked around, only able to catch a fleeting glimpse of Siakon before everything went black. The teen's breathing ceased. Asera was gone.

Atryn & Sinna & Casket
As Camry flung himself onto Fracture, she rolled from underneath him, reeling back to bite into his flesh- anywhere she could reach. Biting clawing snapping, she only happened to glance in her sister's direction. She did a double take, eyes widening as she saw Asera regret to move. "Asera.." She breathed, her eyes widening. "No... NO!" She boomed, as if rage shook her whole body, her lips curled, and she lunged toward Donato, ramming him violently off her sister's body.
Then she turned from him, not even taking the time to fight him- she would get to him soon- but she quickly crawled to her sister's side first. "Asera, hang on, Asera?" She breathed, but her sister lay bleeding from her neck, struggling her last breaths. "Asera please no, please stay... Don't let us loose you... ASERA!" She whimpered loudly, tears welling up in her eyes as she watched her sister fade off into nothing, suddenly... Purple's shot up to Camry, looking for him, and then mother... She was approaching Cocaine, like a fool! Her heart was about to explode from her chest, and for a moment she lay stunned by her dead sister... Vulnerable.
"I should have came for you, I'm so sorry Asera..."
Atryn heard him, and his heart raced. Did he say something about... Mommy? Wait, was mommy okay now? Was this his father? His paws shuffled, and he whimpered. "B-but... That's my dad! What if... What if mommy's okay now, maybe she's not sick?" He mewed, feeling excited all of the sudden. If his mother was okay now, he could go to her! Jerry would understand, wouldn't he? He took a step forward, letting out a weak and tired mew. It was a loud one, though. He had no idea what he had done...
Casket grabbed a paw after his mother, ears flattening. "Mother, No, Mo-" She was already out though, and his breathing deepened. She was pregnant, she couldn't go out there, was she insane?! Cas raised a paw to his chest, but swallowed the worry and fear. He padded out a ways behind her, watching. If someone tried to hurt her... He would leap onto them. Draw them away, anything so his mother wouldn't be hurt, or the innocent things inside her...

"M'LORD RENO!" he snarled, shocked that Reno had saved him, he roared before attempting to help the king of La Morte by trying to pin him down, he growled before snorting, his eyes blazing bloodred hatred. "We will not bow for we are La Morte!" he snarled, looking to the dominant.. hoping he could defend himself. "I'll be back, Reno!"
Azul sobbed into her brother's fur. "Dazeon.. i'm scared.." she cried, whimpering and shaking her head. Why.. why was this happening?! Why did she suddenly feel useless?! She looked up to Atryn and sniffled. "W-who are you? Y-you're Atryn, right?" she whispered, wiping away her tears.
Caylis lay unconcious, her eyes slowly reawakening before shaking her head, grunting. "Where.. where am I?" she murmured, getting to her paws and suddenly remembered, she gasped before attempting to zoom in to help Cocaine in an attempt to tackle Omen. "GET OFF HIM! He's looking for his son!" she snarled, her teeth bared but that stopped immediately before Influence zoomed down and slammed into Caylis, getting her off of Omen. "Piss off and leave her alone!"
The BloodBeast looked up to Reno fighting with Crowther, would he be alright? Surely he would. Influence hoped with all his heart that everything would be okay. His eyes widened as he noticed Slaughter, Darrium and Asera clinging on to dear life, he screamed. "No!" Rage overwhelmed him and he attempted to leap on Cocaine's back and cling on, biting down on him.

▲ Lothaire Long
He had been overlooking the battles and on the same time participating in a battle of his own against his fears. A cry for help and roars rung in his audits. Blues flicked from one cluster of claws and fangs to another till they halted on Camry, a dark Meurtrian and Sinna. His niece rolled away from the meurtrian and hurried over to Asera. Lothaire's blues widened, Asera!? Those cursed meutrians! He had to do something! It was then, his eyes picked up Fracture's shadow as he had seeked out a new target- Siakon. "Oh no you're not!!" Lothaire's voice boomed and bursted out of the vegetation. It was a matter of seconds, enough for Fracture to halt and lay is eyes on the attacker before Lothaire had reached him and went straight for his jugular. This was it, Lothaire's first real fight. No safety words, no holding back. It was real, lethaly real.

Everyone
When Cocaine was slammed into by the other blood beasts Yasha, Kardei, and Yasbi were dragged in from not releasing him soon enough. They scrambled out quickly shaking their pelts quickly - Yasha ans Kardei on the side of the den to ortect the entrance, their pelts fluffed as they flanked Najisi. Yasbi ignored the fight now as she whirled and dashed to Slaughters side. She placed one paw over his head and stood over him snarling at anyone who was enemy who dared look in their direction. And then Najisi roared out. Ears flicked upwards, all three stopped and steadied themselves, waiting to see if Cocaine would stop or not.
Jericho tensed incredibly at Najisi's roar, and the brief moment he had placed Atryn down he realized his mistake and swooped the cub back up. "I'm sorry Atryn." He murmures past the fur, backing back into the den and keeping a watchful gaze out on the entrance. They were all tense, waiting in near desperation of what would happen.
Donato had been too enraged to hear the teens words the pleads, and he only paused when he felt someone slam into him from the side, knocking him off the young one. Then Donato stared, neat horrified as his rage calmed. This... this Asera had been a young teenager. And he'd killed her. However his gaze sought out Cocaine. It was worth it if Cocaine didn't get his son back. However he sobered instantly, only now feeling the slashes across his cheeks, his nose, his chest as he stepped back further. His gaze flickered around and he saw Shinku, unconscious from having protected him in his plight of killing the young one and another one had lunged at him too. He took to the skies quickly in leiu of any others having lunged at him and darted to Shinku's side. Meurtrier were not going to win this battle. He grasped Shinku and with much effort heaved himself and the male into the air and back out of Arelth, just to get his grandfathers semi-pal out of danger. Letting him go in safety he hesitated. Should he go back and risk his life for Meurtrier again? Even though it would kill his own mother? He took to the air without a second thought and flew inwards once more. However he did not head into battle again. He needed to track down Cocaine. Should someone stop him he would battle them, but his goal was to find Cocaine. And if he made it to the tunnel safely he would lurch forward into a run to seek Cocaine out.
Shinku is outside of the camp now unconscious.
Camry gasped as a few blows hit his head and then he heard Lothaire, heard Sinna. He knew instantly who to go for. He rushed to Sinna's side again and froze in shock. Asera... The sister of his betrothed that had helped him. Saved his life really... Paid with her own. He pressed against Sinna's side, offering his support and desperately hoping that she didn't turn against him for having run to her aide and left her sister alone. So he kept quiet and just tried to be there for Sinna, if she allowed him to.
Cyber and Malluce both await a reply from their chosen opponent.

Neo was about to sink huge fangs into a red bloodbeast, but his attack was ruined by Crowther. "I can take care of myself," he snarled. He rolled his shoulders and took off into the air in a few beats of his great wings, creating gusts that could knock a smaller beast over. He was airborne and in the sky, climbing steadily, looking for Cocaine. As he had expected, it had somewhat turned into a solo mission for the father from what he could sense of him. He roared at any who thought to follow and darted off, flaming eyes following the path as best he could, given the dense tree cover. The fact that he could fly given his weight was amazing, but his speed was even more so. Cocaine made enough noise so that Neo could easily follow him with sound alone. Then there was an opening in the trees, water becoming quite visible. A sly smile slid upon him as he spotted the tree covered island. He positioned himself before he folded his wings to his sides and dove down. He landed on the bridge with enough force to make it quake for a moment, standing between Cocaine and his combatants and the den. A low rumbling ebbed from him as he returned to his feet. His eyes were for those on Cocaine. A wing was dislocated from the landing, but it was hardly an issue. "Oh dear," he chuckled coldly. "And here I thought the whore was soft. Whose cub are you going to have this time?" He could feel the jealousy of his brother but simply snickered. He let Jasper's presence into his body a little bit so he could share in the fun. This caused a crazed, manic grin to spread on his face, pulling at the corners of the mouth until foul blood dripped on the ground.
Meanwhile, Corvette found himself mobbed by a creature he did not recognize. He could not do anything about it though, other than to start flipping around, using his thick, muscular tail to keep others away. A good slap from it would leave a bruise, most certainly. Corvette was not built for this kind of combat, however. The scent of blood was driving him wild and he did his best to land a bite on Cyber, no matter where it was. He was entering a sort of feeding frenzy and had a hard time distinguishing between friend and foe. If he caught hold of Cyber, the male would lose flesh.
Victor had gone into bite Malluce's foreleg and had somehow ended up with a paw in his mouth instead. The claws dug into his tongue and he snarled and attempted to bit down on the offender. But Cyber had attempted to come to his aid and it ended very poorly for Victor. The muscle that helped him to speak was pulled free in a sickening sound, the flesh tearing as blood sprayed everywhere. And there hung something dark red on the claws of his opponent. Rage filled him, a distorted thunder echoing from his maw. Black, reeking blood flew from his jaws. His eyes were terrifying as he focused on Malluce. He lunged for him, not intending to maim, to chase off, only to kill. Anyone in the way would be subject to the now nearly mute healer's wrath.
Sardon was uneasy at best with the direction the battle was going. Two giants and some freaky fish thing. What exactly was Meurtrier? He shook his head and selected a target. Crowther. At least this one looked like a feline. He darted at him, lowering his head so that he could streak underneath him and hopefully get the male's legs out from underneath him.
