[ tolvia ]
It was in the early hours of the morning when she felt it. A deep, instinctive stirring in her chest that she could only have one response to. There was a moment where it looked as if all the pain that came with arthritis had left her body, and for the last time on Meurtrier grounds, the old, red female rose from where she had slept.
It was almost heart breaking for her to think about her life in the pride. She had overcome great obstacles, found great love, and with it, experienced the worst heartbreak imaginable. Still, Tolvia went on. She lived her life for her friends, family, children, and, as of late, the cubs she was currently carrying.
Even with the arthritis in her paws causing her great discomfort, she walked. She began her travelling, the destination set deep in her mind. She had people to see before she left for good, and she was going to make sure that either she found them or they found her, but, for now, she would simply wander the territory in search of them.
Tolvia Donovan, in her old age, had experienced loss once more. This time, she was walking away from everything she had ever known. Meurtrier was no longer safe, and her children would always come first.

It didn't take long for a sibling to find her. Hearing her name made her heart skip a beat, purely out of nervousness and the fear of the unknown. She didn't know what lay ahead for her, only that it would be safer for her unborn children. "Asesino," The red feline called in greeting, returning the nuzzle with one that had much more emotion.
There was silence that lasted a few minutes. It was a telling silence, notifying Asesino that something was definitely up here. "I'm afraid, my dear, I must leave." Tolvia responded, her voice the softest it had ever been. "With the cub death we had recently, I can't take any chances. I cant risk my children. If I lost them, it would kill me. " She spoke bluntly, presenting her sister with the honest truth. [/blockquote] [/div]

Jasper was still quite exhausted from what he had done. But he felt the need to move. His body was much too sore right now. The tightness of still muscles wAs incredibly exaggerated in a body his size. Still, every features on his body was black, showing how tired he was. Silently, he sought out his mate. He needed her. She was his rock, the most consistent thing in his life. He wanted to discuss his worries of Victor with her. She was the only creature in the pride he would trust with such information.
About to call out her name, he stopped when he saw she was approaching Tolvia. A smile would have crossed his face, but her words reached his ears and his expression dropped heavily. "Tolvia!" He shouted, reaching the pair in seconds. His eyes changed from black to a wondrous azure as he searched her face with rare, round pupils. "What do you mean you're leaving? No, no, no, no! You can't! Please. I would keep you safe." There was no hiding the emotion in his voice, nor hiding how upset he was. He sounded pleading, a tone that was unheard of from him.

ASESINO
Asesino murmured and brushed up against Jasper. She looked at Tolvia. "I understand.. do you know where you plan to go.. and are you certain you want to leave? I'm sure Jasper could keep you safe, and I as well." She said.[/ul][/blockquote]

The response that she was given was expected. She knew she was going to hear this from someone. Hearing Jasper, bless his heart, plead for her to stay brought a lump to her throat and her ears slowly slid backward. "As much as I appreciate your kind words, and as much as I love the two of you, I can't stay here." Tolvia began, her blue eyes slowly moving to look up at Jasper. "The two of you must lead your own lives, and I would regret getting in the way." She said simply, her tail flicking behind her.
Then, she looked at Asesino. "I am going to Malificus. Alecto, our sister, leads the pride and I'm hoping that she'll do me a favor by taking me in." There was nothing solid around Tolvia's move. There was only the instinct telling her that Meurtrier was not safe, and the hope that Malificus would accept her and allow her to raise her young within their territory. "If not... I'll try to wander back." This was a lie. The time it would take her to travel meant that she could be giving birth any day, and travelling back from Malificus would mean death for her cubs unless she found a safe spot.
Slowly, Tolvia shifted closer to the two of them. She sat in front of them and leaned her head forward, butting both of them at the same time, and staying still. The two of them represented home and love, and even though the decision to leave was her own, she could not help but seek comfort from loved ones. "I'm sorry for all of this. I don't mean to hurt anyone." She said quietly.

Kaden & Adalyn
Kaden and Adalyn had been speaking softly to one another. It was early morning when they had been having their own little heart to heart, however the sound of voices - one in particular that was at a shout, brought their attention forward. They stood, and walked towards the sounds, where Tolvia, Asesino, and Jasper stood. Something about the scene sent warning set warning bells off in Kadens' mind, and he called out softly. "Tolvia? Asesino, Jasper." He acknowledged the Crimson because he had been witness to the tender care the beast had shown his sister. He would not disrespect that.
But the young adult feline next to him had eyes only for her aunt whom she'd shared a moment of pain with recently. "Aunt Tolvia? What's wrong?" The two walked up to the group slowly, uncertainlu, almost. However Adalyn had no qualms with going straight to Tolvia and pressing against her lovingly, pushing her head into Tolvia's neck fur, like the niece looking for comfort in a time that she could sense would be hard.

Jasper's eyes began to tear up just slightly, first just making his eyes quite glassy. He stared at Tolvia and wrapped his huge wings around her and tucked her in close, tears falling from his face and onto his best of friends and adoptive sister. "Are you sure there isn't anything I can do to make you stay? If you must go, I would like to escort you," he murmured. He could barely remember Alecto. His eyes flitted to Asesino, hoping for her support.

[ tolvia ]
The reactions, while not unexpected, pulled at Tolvia's heart and part of her wished that she could stay. She hoped that they would all understand that what was driving her was something more feral than anything they could control. Instinct. It filled her with fear and anxiety, and pushed her to move.
"I can go by myself, Jasper, but if you wish to come with me then I am not going to stop you. Perhaps you could even be allowed in to the territory, if I am accepted, for visits... if you want. " The red feline added, quite lowly. She did not expect anything from Jasper. He was her best friend and adopted brother, but she was aware that he needed to lead his own life and that he had a mate to provide for. The arrival of Kayden and Adalyn made Tolvia's stomach drop. Kaden, her sweet natured brother, and Adalyn, her poor, beautiful niece were next to hear the news. She leaned down and nuzzled Adalyn, neglecting to greet either of them with words. " You two are big, strong adults." She started, looking Kayden in the eyes. " And I believe you can do brilliant things with your lives here in Meurtrier, if you wish to stay here. However..." She swallowed. This was so, so hard. " My future is not with Meurtrier, and neither is my end. I have to leave." She said softly, turning to look at Adalyn. " Do not think that I do not love any of you. I love all of you, you are all my family in some way or another and I will never forget you. Perhaps, after the cubs are born and old enough to be left, I could visit you. For now, it isn't safe here for my children to be raised in, and I cannot run the risk of losing any of them." Her voice became almost monotone. Tolvia was not used to conveying emotions around others, and so found it hard to put them into words. " I'm sorry to do this." [/blockquote] [/div]

Part of Kaden was not shocked, but he still felt a tightening In his chest, and as Jasper said he would escort her he looked at Adalyn under the male's wings. Adalyn looked back at him, her eyes glassy, and she nodded at him, he nodded back. "I barely remember Alecto." He looked at Jasper and brushed a wing against the bigger male. "Adalyn and I will go with you. Our life gas not been made here yet. And I would rather you not be alone while there Tolvia." He smiled at her and looked at his niece again, who had really basically became his adoptive daughter. "We shall accompany you as well."
Adalyn nearly began crying. She knew her aunt was having trouble speaking but when she caught Kadens gaze she nearly begun begging. But she didn't have to, Kaden already knew. He had offered them to go with her and stay. She looked up at Jasper, "We'll take care of her, Uncle Jasper " she didn't know him. But she could tell Tolvia meant a lot to him, and that was all that mattered to her to consider him family. It was clear there was no arguing on this. They were going with her.

CANNIVAL Cannival had been around - obviously with the business of the pride and things being on edge, it didn't take long for the old female to get back after she identified herself as a second generation Donovan. Barely she had time to say hi to her many family members, and expressed pertinent confusion at how much things had changed from her day.
Out in the Veldt, she tried to track down anyone around. And then she caught the familiar scent of family. Although she wouldn't exactly display it in her outward emotions, Cannival was more than eager to meet up with whoever. She didn't know, all Donovan's were the same.
And then she appeared out of nowhere to a huge group and immediately recognised Asesino and Tolvia, among others. But the air got suddenly tense, quiet as she approached. "Pardon me for barging in but.. what is going on?"
