Jasper stepped back and pressed his muzzle into Asesino, though his blue eyes were focused on Tolvia. He was careful not to graze his mate with his horns, occasionally glancing to who else was here. If Kaden and Adalyn went, Tolvia would be safe, right? He did not want to leave the Veldt again for a while. Especially since Dhalia had recently vanished without a trace. It had the great beast incredibly worried.

The reactions from her family and friends were making the old lioness's heart begin to break. The hardest part about this move was that it was down to instinct - she had no conscious choice in it whatsoever.
Looking from her niece to Jasper, Tolvia, again, offered him a small smile. "Jasper, my dear, surely you aren't suggesting that I cannot take care of myself? [/i]" She tilted her head, attempting to make him feel better by adding a bit of humor to the situation. " I will be fine. Apparently, I now have two, young, strong felines accompanying me." Tolvia leaned down and gently headbutted Adalyn again. Cannival, another family member, was one feline that Tolvia could not remember interacting with too much. Still, the female was presented with a smile and a nod in greeting. " This is true, I am leaving. However, do not let that ruin anything for you. Any of you. I am leaving to give birth to new life in safer grounds. Again, I love you all, and you will all be remembered.[/i]" She said softly, and then her right ear flicked out to the right and she looked off into the distance. " I have to go before the sun rises properly.[/i]" She looked over at it, frowning. " I cannot get caught in the crowds and I do not want to talk to the Lord about where I am going or why.[/i]" She wrinkled her nose, ears sliding back slowly. [/blockquote] [/size] [/div] |

Kaden looked at Jasper and in a rare moment of feels brushed his wing against the male. His gaze flicked to Cannival and his eyes widened at the sight of his birth sister. "Cannival!" He used his wing to drape over her and pulled her close, nuzzling his sister in greetings before looking at Tolvia once more as she spoke again. "Of course Tolvia. We are ready when you are." He reached over to Asesino and nuzzled her as well. Then once more turned back to Cannival. "I'll come back to see you if you stick around." He murmured to her, than gave a last look at Jasper. "And we'll do our best, Jasper." He nodded to the other male, knowing and having seen with his own eyes that his older sister meant a lot to the black feline.
Adalyn purred loudly at Tolvia's affections, and then merely watched for a bit. She didn't know this Cannival but from the looks of it, she was another aunt of hers. Still all she did was grant the lady a smile, then looked around at the gathered faces for a meant before her ears flicked to Tolvia as she announced wanting to leave now. As affectionate as the young feline was she stepped forward to Jasper, Asesino, and then Cannival, brushing against each of them briefly. "I'll do my best, Uncle Jasper, Aunt Asesino, Aunt Cannival. I promise." She grinned broadly at them all, trying to lift the spirits of the adults around her. Then she paused and tilted her head. She was leaving someone behind. Someone who she had momentarily forgotten about as they had recent been acquainted. Her eyes roamed the Veldt once but she didn't spot that someone. She, however, gave no indication and turned to Tolvia. "Whenever you're ready Auntie."
