Circa
Boy did things feel exhausting lately... So much drama, so much emotion, the want to slip away and take some time to think was a keen want on the Captain's worried mind. However, that wasn't possible with all the ruckus going on. She was needed, of importance, she couldn't just walk away of course, she had no choice but to suck it up. Still, the want to wind down and talk to someone, even for a moment, would be greatly appreciated. However Edmund was always wandering off, Alfwin was indifferent, and Corona was often not seen enough to talk to, which also added onto some stress. She loved those children, and to think that they were ripped apart emotionally... It was hard to take.
The only one closer to them was apparently some sort of criminal... Locked away in the medical dens. Slight eagerness ate at her when each day came and gone, wondering if Funeral would finally reach a verdict on his son. Was it fair to still have him in there? It wasn't her decision to make, but nonetheless, she was going to talk to him. Dipping her body to get into the den's entrance, the Captain came to a halt when she had reached the only doctor left.
"Nerante," she greeted, not giving off any sense that the male still made her feel uneasy. "I'm sorry if I intrude into you conversation, but I'm here to check up on Osic."

NERANTE
He said with a friendly nudge, and then returned to his conversation with Iarri unless Circa should ask more.[/ul][/blockquote]

Circa
Circa nodded her head in thanks. "Will do." But of course, she seriously doubted that she would have to yell for help. She knew Osic, he wasn't as much a criminal as everyone was making him out to be... Brushing past the Doctor and his younger nurse, who Circa smiled and nodded to, she slid further into the den. It was pretty dark down here... Poor Osic had to be going insane by now. Ears folding back, she stopped as she reached what she assumed was his den, a soft smile appearing before she scratched at the dirt in front of it. "Knock knock."

Iarri Kannon | Osic Donovan
She continued about her work, talking to Nerante with happy politeness. As the Captain entered, Iarri paused as her companion did. She listened to the two, giving Circa her own smile and nod before the older female disappeared. "It must be difficult to condemn your own friend." Iarri commented softly as she returned to her business. Never could she image having to lock up her own best friend Corona. It was a terribly sad thought.
Eyes lay closed, head pressed against the carved out earth. He was certainly coming undone; slowly but surely. A new presence had purple's opening slowly but shooting open to the familiar, and inwardly much missed voice. Osic turned to Circa with a beamed grin, his sadness forgotten; for now at least. Suddenly he became very much aware of himself. His dirty pelt, disheveled mane and dulling feathers from neglect of grooming. Yet it did not last long. His body jerked, wanting to leap forward and slap his paws against the ground in an invitation to play. But he managed to refrain. They weren't cubs and as much as he wanted to tackle Circa, she was a figure head now. "Hey you." He greeted finally, standing and taking a careful step toward her.

She chuckled as he came into the light, and playfully she put a paw over her nose. "Goodness, don't they allow you to take baths?" She exclaimed, smiling and hoping that any unease be broken from here on out... Putting her paw down, she stepped closer to him, playful gaze softening as she looked him over. It had been a while since she'd seen him, and he looked quite disheveled. "Kidding... How're you holding up down here?" She mewed, ears folding down in obvious apology. She hated the fact that he was stuck down here, when so much wrong had gone on above the surface. When was Funeral gonna reach a verdict? I'm so sorry you have to be trapped down here, Osic.

Osic Donovan
He laughed to her gesture, gaze running over himself. "One of my many tortures." He teased. His own gaze softened as she came closer, his smile open and kind. "I've been better." Tail ticked back and forth happily. "Stretching out my wings sounds better everyday." Osic tilted his head then, studying her. Though she seemed well enough Circa had an air of concern about her. Looks like the weight of the world is crushing you, love. But he kept it to himself. "I'm glad to see you aren't mad at me." Words referring to her pain at the battle.

The red 'ess smiled, but shook her head. "I'm not mad... I just miss you being on the upside. I feel bad that you've been trapped down here." She admitted, glancing back up to the surface. "A lot's happened lately, lots of stress going around..." Circa sighed, looking back at him for a moment. A sudden idea came into her head, and her face lit up with the thought. Would it be so bad if she let Osic out- with her supervision- to stretch and get a little sunlight? Surely it would be fine, if Osic hadn't left yet, he wasn't going to. Besides, what would it hurt. "I think... I'm going to take you outside for a bit. IF you think you can contain yourself?"

Osic Donovan
His smile grew to hear her words. She's not angry! Now he zoned back in. "Yeah. Nerante and I talked for a bit earlier. He told me about Stella and the missing cub." His head tilted slightly then. "He also told me about Carnal and her... Issue." Osic was still trying to swallow the fact that he was going to be an uncle. Black ears perked immediately to the mention of getting out. "Really? You'd do that?" Not that he thought she wouldn't or didn't trust him, it was just a surprise to think about getting some long deserved fresh air. Osic laughed and gently bumped his head against hers before pulling away. "Me? Misbehave? Never."

"Oh yeah... And her and Kazbek are getting close aparently." She muttered back, wondering how he would feel about that piece of news. A grin grew wide on her face at his excitement, and a purr she struggled to stifle welled in her throat as he bumped heads with her, she chuckled. "Of course, I am the Captain remember?" She said, before turning towards the way she had come. "I trust you won't try anything... And I don't think it's fair to keep you down to rot away when all you did was speak your mind." The last sentance she mumbled, only for him to hear.
"Wait here." She said before he could make a reply, walking up a ways until she got to Nerante and Illari again. She wanted to at least warn them before she brought Osic out; it was their den after all. "I'm going to let Osic have some daylight, he looks like he needs it. We'll be right outside, if that's alright with you?" She paused, waiting to see if Nerante had any qualms with Osic getting some fresh air. If not, she would wave him on to follow her on out.

Osic Donovan
When Circa exited Osic approached his den's entrance to peer down after her. There was a lot of excitement about finally getting to stretch himself out. So silently he stalked out of his den and followed the Captain. He paused, hiding himself in the shadows. His eyes lit up as he say Nerante give his approval. Osic lurched forward, nipping Circa on the shoulder playfully before bolting toward the main exit. He took no second thoughts. Once his paws hit the grass his wings spread and he was gone.
Higher, higher and higher still he ascended. Each flap of his feathered appendages a sweet release. Yet the sky's welcoming cradle was only enjoyed for a short time. Not wanting Circa to think he actually did run away Osic circled back, coming to a light landing in front of her. "That felt amazing!" He exclaimed, a grin plastered to his face. This short time outside was already enough to bring a spark back into his eyes.

Circa
Her pelt flared in sheer fright as her friend shot past her, and lifted into the sky. "OSI-" She nearly exploded in exasperation, but held her breath as he eventually came floating right back down to her. A paw went up to clench her chest, and a heavy sigh of relief escaped her maw as he landed by her side again. "You nearly gave me a. heart attack!" She rasped, but eventually sunk into a smile again as the spark had noticeably returned to his purple eyes.
"You sure look like you're enjoying yourself." She mused, tail ticking in amusement as she looked around; hoping no one else had panicked when Osic took a sudden flight. False alarm, nothing to see here. She chuckled nervously in her mind, looking back to him. "Now that you've got that out of your system... Wanna walk?"

Osic Donovan
He chuckled apologetically. "Sorry about that. If I had known you were so easily scaaarrred maybe I wouldn't have done it." He was obviously teasing her, a wing flexing to nudge her side. "And of course I'm enjoying myself! I'm here with y-y-y.... here with freedom." He still wasn't quite sure how she felt, and he certainly wasn't about to add more into her seemingly over stressed life. So he played off his almost slip up as if it never happened. Osic cocked his head to the side and nodded. A walk sounded great. Lead the way O'Captain my captain."

Smirking, she lashed out a paw to shove his shoulder. "I wouldn't be so easily scaaaared if your father wasn't my boss." She muttered, leaning to nudge him back. Red ears perked as he stumbled his words, and an almost hopeful expression lit her face for the smallest of moments. She hadn't really caught what he said, but if she had... She would have been disappointed. She was concerned with the nagging feeling of unfinished business that sprouted from the battle... But the fact that Osic dismissed it was potential for hurt. There was too much fear to ask outright though, so really, she knew as much as he did about how the other felt.
She smiled as he addressed her as Captain, and she began to walk slowly around the camp. She wasn't sure how much time they really did have, so she was going to take as much as possible, each pawstep could be closer to either her best friend's freedom or demise. On that thought, she gulped and tried to dismiss it, but her eyes had obviously must have turned worried for a moment. Hoping he wouldn't notice, she changed to a happier tone. "Are you excited about being an uncle?" [/blockquote]

Osic Donovan
There were mixed feelings in her; there certainly were in him. In all honesty he hated this beating around the bush game he felt he was forced to play. To Osic any scenario just seemed unfair to Circa. There was still the possibility of his pending death. To tell her how he felt and then he die.. How would she take that? Even by not telling her she would then be left to wonder over it for the rest of her life; with the chance of her finding someone and moving on. Thankfully Circa changed the subject before he could begin mentally freaking out. "It's great! Besides the fact that Carnal hates my living breathing guts and I'll most likely never get to know my nieces and nephews. I am happy for her however. She's my sister, that'll never change. No matter what she says." He stared ahead, recalling that her friend had died in the battle, leaving Circa three adolescents. "How are the cubs? .. Well, I guess I should say: How are the young adults?"
