Sickle Meccariello, Erin Imbier, Aro Wieder, Toxy Choiseul- FermentDiabetic, Gallows MonroeSomeone's here. That much was obvious, the way the many, MANY cubs scattered about camp -- Her teenagers and the few growing 'newborns' alike -- Stopped playing for that split second, looking around curiously before returning to their multiple respective mothers and fathers alike and to whatever they were doing before. It wasn't necessarily a sense of panic anymore, not since the threat of that demonic Crimson female was taken care of thanks to an unlikely... Friend. No, there was an odd spark of familiarity in the air, drawing her to stand from her usual perching place up on her throne, giving a lazy stretch and exiting the camp to meet whatever patrol happened to come across the intruders this time and most likely returned home with them. She wouldn't be making the foolish mistake of letting them go before she got some proper information of them, unless she was present firsthand. Not anymore. It wouldn't be Erin as most always though, he was busy hunting. Probably Aro and Toxy then, as he was a new providing father to his two 'esses, and she one of the only females left who hadn't been bedded a few moons ago. Whatever help they could offer was more than appreciated. -- Indeed, it was the pair she guessed. "Report." She requested to the two of them when she finally met up with them halfway, eyes lazily drifting from one to the other, then behind them, to see if they had indeed followed through with the new change of instructions, a bit drowzy from such a cool, but not cold yet, afternoon doing a whole lot of nothing. They pulled a face at eachother, hesitating, and the Dominante rolled her eyes. "Well, get on with it. If it's only travelers passing through, we --" "No, it's not that m'lady." Aro rumbled, glancing over his shoulder. "It's two females. They said," He was cut off by the other. " One of them said, anyways...Actually, just wait. I think you'll know exactly which one we're talking about." Toxy hated being so vague to her Queen, but she'd much rather let her see with her own eyes than have them trip over their tongues trying to explain and get their ears clawed off if they said the wrong thing. Quirking a brow, the Mecca-matriarch gave a heavy sigh and a shrug, sitting down to await whoever would come through those bushes. And not even a heartbeat later, a set of paws. No, two sets, she corrected. There was someone else with this mystery arrival that they apparently didn't know. But whoever they were, they were traveling together. Not that it helped much with lack of information. But the second she caught a dark grey paw...Those eyes...And the twin horns up on her head, she was jostled out of her idle wandering thoughts, jumping to her feet to take a sharp step back, bewildered and in total disbelief. "I -- I don't...Believe this...!" She gaped, watching as her subordinates gave her some space to confront these two newcomers. A wide, wicked-fanged grin crossed the first older gray one's muzzle, and she laughed, a low, honey-smooth purr in her throat. "Now now, pet. Is that any way to welcome your mother to your new home?" The other chocolate brown one behind her, however, was staring her down just the same, hard, cold, and perhaps a bit curious, but said nothing. Sickle was frozen, shocked, and the Vampire rolled her eyes, turning to her daughter's apparent followers. "You two. Make yourselves useful. Fetch my other children." She ordered, but Aro merely let out a quiet growl, refusing to budge an inch until his superior dismissed he and Toxy. So they waited, watching her for the signal, and eventually she gave a numb nod, flicking her tail to send them away to hunt down Syndrome and Anemia. And only then did they do as told, letting out a call for them as they left the trio be. LAD, TheWG this mostly concerns sick and her sibs, but the nieces/nephews/next gen in general can come hang out along with anyone else here in a bit

Syndrome was laying in front of the den where Eclipse and his son stayed, always awake and alert whenever his son was around- gods forbid he miss a moment of his growing child's life. But as the clamoring camp suddenly grew quiet, he rose from his position to get a better look at what was going on. His bright yellow eyes squinted as he watched a couple emerge from the bushes. Visitors? A growl rumbled in his throat in wariness.
And then he nearly choked on it, when he suddenly recognized- without a doubt- the female that now stood in front of his sister. He jumped to his paws just as Sickle had did, eyes wide with surprise. Giving a quick look back to his son to make sure he was taken care of, he leaped up and bolted towards the gathering crowd, ears high. "Mother?" He called, the eagerness on his face hard to contain as he made his way to his sister's side.

Anemia Meccariello
She'd been on her own, needing some time to herself as she thought of everything that had been going on recently. But still, her head lifted at the call that resounded from camp. They wouldn't find her less she wanted them to - and part of her didn't want to be found. But she sighed heavily and leaped down from her rocky perch as she moved back towards camp. A quick look around showed where her brother was disappearing from just the edges and she quickly moved to join him giving a quick nod to Toxy and Aro as she joined her brother - and shortly after, her sister. However, Syndrome's words had her freezing for all of two seconds before she stepped out from behind him to see the spectacle before her. Mom. Her eyes narrowed. After all this time.. Why? Anemia remained silent however. She couldn't bring herself to show emotion like she had when she'd first been cubbish at meeting her sister and brother for the first time in ages. She felt as if it had been drained from her for some unknown odd reason. Perhaps it was the exhaustion of all the cubs that were around.

Sickle Meccariello, Erin Imbier, Aro Wieder, Toxy Choiseul- FermentDiabetic, Gallows MonroeAro and Toxy left the family to their devices after the Queen's siblings were given the message, and word was quick to spread around camp that the three royal's mother had made her appearance.
Diabetic was clearly pleased at the sight of her other cubs, offering another picture-perfect grin, tail raised, going to Syndrome and nudging his forehead with her own. He was always the charming one out of this particular brood of hers. "Well well, look at you my boy! Handsome as your father was. Your wings have come in beautifully, my dear one." She praised, a sharp glitter in her eyes. Anemia obviously wasn't so impressed when she made her appearance, though. Sickle wasn't either. What was it about the females of their family that made them so distrusting of eachother? At least her daughters seemed to get along well enough, the Dominante almost numbly making her way over to Ani, pressing against her with a nod. "Girls, please. It's been so long, there's no need to shut me out." She sighed.
"Yes, it has. And we've missed you." Sick cleared her throat, seeming to regain some of her composure. "Not that I don't want you here, but...Why are you here? You were so pushy to be free of us as soon as we were old enough to leave." She pointed out, quirking a brow, and not at all reassured when Diabetic laughed.
Still, the other silent one behind her hadn't said a word. But the Dominante absolutely refused to look at her. "Now, you know that's not true. Sure, you're father and I didn't part on good terms, but we didn't regret having you. Vampires are flighty and our loyalties don't last. I knew you'd be better off on your own, to make your way in the world like I have. And I was right. You're thriving." She purred, then took a little half-step back, finally nudging her own companion forward to be forced to attention. "But, I think you know exactly why I'm here. I'm surprised, actually. I was sure the two of you would be wanting to catch up after all this time, yes Gallows?" She wondered, obviously overstepping some sort of boundary when her eldest daughter nearly flinched, turning her head away from this stranger.
"Don't." The white 'ess nearly begged.

After giving Diabetic a loving nudge, Syndrome gave a half surprised look to his sister as she questioned their mother's appearance. To him, it didn't matter! The only thing that did matter was that she was here now, didn't it? But that was likely because he was the first of the cubs to set out on his own, and for the most part unprompted... He was a young male at the time, and not much push was needed for him to start his own ventures. Here it was like a breath of fresh air to see his mother again after so long, but of course he held his tongue as his mother and sister spoke, a purr still lingering quietly in his throat as he took a seat on the sidelines. There were so many things he wanted to show her, namely his wonderful son...
But focus turned curiously onto this stranger behind her, whose flinching made his yellow eyes narrow questioningly. Who was she again? He didn't recognize her off the bat, but then again it had been a long time since they were back with mother, and any other connected family. (Not sure if they're supposed to know her or not? So I gave a neutral answer. If they are supposed to recognize her, he will in the next post after looking at her for a bit?)

From phone.
Anemia nearly stepped away from Diabetic when her mother came to press against her. As it were, she did jerk her head slightly back. Her thoughts lied upon Sickles voiced ones of how their time together had ended. Their mother /had/ seemed happy to rid of them at the time and it had changed her opinion of her slightly. She still loved her mother of course, but she wasn't sure if it were returned, or if she just looked at her children as a way to the top.
But her thoughts remained guarded when Diabetic replied to Sickle and Anemia wasn't sure how to react to it. The very idea that had crossed her mind made her very hesitant, until their mother addressed the girl that was with them. Anemias eyes narrower and she shifted her gaze to Sickle questioningly, and even a bit defensively. All Sickle had to do was say the word and Anemia would begin to tell them to leave. /Her/ loyalties weren't questionable and would remain with her sister and brother.
Still... There was history there and Anemia wasn't even sure she should be here - it seemed more personal between Sickle and their mother, not Syndrome and herself. With a small, inaudible sigh through her nose, she shifted nearly protectively so towards Sickle.
Sorry, it sucks, I really didn't know what to put or if Anemia or Syndrome know Gallows or anything like that

Sickle Meccariello, Erin Imbier, Aro Wieder, Toxy Choiseul- FermentDiabetic, Gallows Meccariello- Monroe"Well? Enlighten an old girl, dear." Dia urged, brows raised, eager to see how this little reunion was going to play out, apparently sprinkled in with a bit of manipulating on her part to get her desired outcome and reaction.
There was a tense pause, a few choice words sent like silent daggers through the air between the trio of females. "...You know why I had to leave her with you. -- Them. The pride collapsed. We were starving, dying out after the Great Disaster. I couldn't afford to lose them too." The Queen finally spoke, correcting herself, ears pinned flat to her skull. "Gallows." She breathed, a pained, apologetic tone to her voice. "What," She stopped, swallowing heavily in strained worry. "What of your brother?" Though the answer was obvious enough by the stone cold look unwavering on the dark tanned one's face.
Gallows was nowhere near showing such weakness, instead feigning indifference to the other's obvious plight, looking away when there was a hesitant half-step taken towards her, in turn making it stop dead in it's tracks. "Gone. Dead, maybe." She shrugged. Looks like Diabetic had rubbed off on her in the worst of ways during their time together when she was growing up. Dammit all. Was she already too late? "What does it matter to you, anyways? Apparently you're no better than Grandmother, from what I'm hearing." The younger female snorted with a dry laugh, earning a low whine from the white Lady as the truth came tumbling out.
God, it hurt like Hell to hear those words. "I'm your mother Gallows, of course it matters. Whatever she's been telling you about me, about your father? Take it with a grain of sand. It's what she does. It's what she's always done." Sickle warned, pleading. It wasn't supposed to BE like this. This, this was so wrong. It looked like Diabetic just couldn't help herself, with her cubs or grandcubs.

Dude sorry, I had a good reply for this and I accidentally backspaced it, I got so pissed I forgot about it ;o; ))
Syndrome could feel his heart sinking deep into his stomach with regret, as the situation quickly took a rather forlorn turn. He felt like nothing short of a fool in the face of what was just presented to them- he had been like a cub greeting his mother, when his sister was obviously discomforted by the fact she was even here. Now it was plainly obvious why things had been tense...
Guilt hung on him for acting the way he had acted, but in the same breath he couldn't help what he didn't know... He hadn't stayed around for any bad times, he had left almost as soon as he was old enough to travel on his own. He knew nothing of the troubles that they had been through, and for that he knew his say in the situation was something he didn't deserve. He remained quiet, silently passing a glance to Anemia. Did she know of this?

Anemia
Anemia felt something prickle in the depths of her soul as she watched the issue tip off the tracks it was set upon. Or so it seemed. She watched her sister get accused of the same fate their mother had left them to - and the very fur on her neck began to stand in pure apprehension. Anemia was not fond of what she was hearing - her claws began to tear the earth beneath them apart - but as silent as she stood, as little as she moved, she knew it was probably not even noticeable.
Gallows was her daughter. She caught sight of Syndrome's look to her - and her head gave a small, sharp slice to the left. A negation. She had not the slightest clue. She had not stayed much longer than her brother in the past when they all drifted their separate ways, but she'd been wary of her mother's return. More so than Syndrome had. Could she blame him? No. Any other scenario and mayhaps she'd have done the same as her brother. Greeted her mother with open arms. But the females of the family was different - and Anemia was always wary. Hell, she'd been wary when she'd first met Sickle - but Syndrome had always had a good heart.
Seeing this now... Her jaw clenched tightly and she took a deep breath. Syndrome and herself should not have been there. A sharp look was cast at her sister briefly... Or perhaps, they were there for a reason. They could soften the blow. "I think that's enough." She said tightly. "Such conversations are not meant to be spoken out in the open where anyone can hear us," She paused and cast a look at her mother then. "And certainly not with others watching the scene. Sickle, you and Gallows here seem to need to have a long talk - on your own." And her eyes remained on their mother as she said this. She was not blind to the manipulation that was at play here. And she wouldn't stand for harm to come to her sister.

Sickle Meccariello, Erin Imbier, Aro Wieder, Toxy Choiseul- FermentDiabetic, Gallows Meccariello- MonroeDiabetic made a small 'tst' noise under her breath, giving an idle sort of shrug, apparently completely oblivious to all three of her current children's plight with her. "Yes yes, perhaps you're right my Ani. Oh dear, I hope I wasn't in the wrong to bring her here with me, Sickle..." She trailed off, head dipped and eyes downcast as if she was actually suddenly disappointed in herself for putting them all in such a compromising position. "I only thought maybe you'd like to be reunited with her again finally! And she was asking so many questions." This time, Gallows scoffed, shaking her head. "Whatever, Gran. You told me my father was dead, useless pretty much. And this is your excuse for my mother and your other kids? Pathetic. At this rate, I should've --"
"Enough, Gallows." The Dominant female, left in nothing but stunned silence for the longest time, finally snapped, all at once turned into some sort of aggressive mothermode, fixating her child-apparent with an icy golden stare. "This has n o t h i n g to do with your aunt and uncle. Do not speak of them that way, do you understand?" That chiding managed to do something, making the cruel, out of line girl shut up for about two seconds. Then, that frosty look was turned onto the eldest. "Mother. If this is what you had in mind for a reunion, then you should have just sent her on her own and you know it. I can't believe you'd drag Syn and Anemia into this! Just to watch me writhe? I'm disappointed in you both." She hissed.
"You are to go back to camp. And we will discuss this later." That was the only warning either relative would get.
The Mecca-matriarch frowned heavily at the reprimanding. "Oh? Some backbone, hm? Alright, Queen Sickle." Dia thrummed, seeming to shake it off and reverted back to her so-'pleasant' self. "We will stay for as long as you'll have us. And who knows? Your son might be able to find his way to you here on his own." There was a low growl from deep in her chest as the two of them excused themselves, but the second they were gone, Sick's visage broke again, and she sat down on heavy haunches, shaking her head slowly.

The male's mouth hung open as their mother walked away, head lowering and ears pinning back as she passed. But as soon as she was gone, he stepped forward and leveled his head with Sickle's. "I'm sorry, Sick..." He muttered quietly, a wing coming out to subtly cover their faces from any other onlookers that may have been lurking. "I didn't know that things were so..."
His voiced trailed out. He wasn't sure what other words to put other than open emotional wounds, but somewhere in him he decided not to say it aloud- it was probably best not to. Instead, he sat down next to her, gaze flowing slowly from her to Anemia, both were equally disappointed at what their mother had done. Even if they had no idea of what happened between their mother and their dearest sister, as well as their first litter of nieces and nephews... There was no question that the brother and sister would stand by Sickle's side, and support her side no matter what. Even though Syndrome loved his mother and in fact all of his family dearly, his sisters were something more precious to him.

Anemia
Anger pierced her when Diabetic continued to act - there was nothing genuine about her these days. In her mind, she'd no right to address them so preciously - she was being cruel with every second she stood here! But then her attention flicked to Gallows and Anemia bristled. The little brat! She very nearly lashed out when Sickle seemed to have collected herself. Immediately, Anemia calmed herself and waited, perched on the tips of her toes before the both of them disappeared to camp. She'd have rather her mother hadn't returned at all at this rate. Sighing heavily, Anemia turned to Sickle, ears flicked at Syndrome's words. "It's not your fault Syn. No one but our mother is actually." And that was the truth that she'd fight for.
Still, Anemia stepped forth to Sickle's other side and pressed her muzzle into her sister's neck, "And it's certainly not yours. You did what you thought was right. It's a simple as that."
