Sickle Meccariello, Erin Imbier, Aro Wieder, Toxy Choiseul- FermentDiabetic, Gallows Meccariello- MonroeHaving her brother and sister here was so much more a blessing to her than they could ever know. She'd need their strength now more than ever, just as when Kimiko was first at large in their home. "...I know. I just," She bit her lip, clearing her throat and shaking herself off, seeming to try and sit up a bit straighter, though still leaning into them both for comfort. "She wasn't always like this, you know? I remember."
Her lips twisted in a grimace. "I wish father were still around. 'Visiting' instead of her. Ha!" Eyes closed, her head shook slow, sadly. "But not just for us either, for her too. He was always like some sort of tranquilizer to her. And Gallows' father...." She sighed, unable to stop herself from airing these sudden grievances now that they were alone and left to themselves once more. How fond the memories of their cubhood were, the five of them together as a young family. But mortal lives were a fragile thing, he'd fallen ill. And Ravyn begged Diabetic to let him go, not to change him for fear of becoming someone -- Something else. All for the sake of the love for his family. Then, her actual first litter's surprising birth. "I just hope we can find some way to talk some sense into them." Decisions had to be made before long. But for now, it was time to return home and deal with this new inner, personal problem at hand.

Anemia
The ess remained silent, ears twitching as Sickle began to speak. Yes, she remembered a time when their mother was more calm. But right now, she wouldn't say - Sickle needed to vent a bit, to relieve those pent up frustrations and listening to her was actually quiet painful. It was against what she would have liked for their normally chipper family. Anemia gave an inaudible sigh through her nose before she opened her eyes - not having even realized she'd closed them when she pressed her muzzle against her sister's cheek. "It is what it is, sister. Best to look to the future instead of trying to fix the past. We'll reason with them." She murmured gently.

"Indeed we will." Syndrome assured softly, pressing his muzzle against her cheek and then removing it like a nudge, he stood to his feet again. "Hopefully being around her grandchildren and family will calm her down a few knots... But that's something we can only hope." He said, optimism resurfacing in his voice as well as a little humor, but watered down. He was still pretty disappointed in his mother's attitude toward Sickle... Perhaps he could try to talk some sense into her himself when the opportunity presented itself. After all, his father brought out the better in mother, and he was no doubt at least a bit like his father...
He opened his maw to suggest it, then slowly closed it again. It didn't seem the right time for such a suggestion. But in Syndrome's mind, he had already decided. He would have a word with his mother on his own time, but for the meantime- it seemed the important thing here was the space between Gallows and her mother.
