Kazbek & Edmund
The sweet smell of cherry blossoms was much more enjoyable in the outdoors in contrast to being trapped within the confines of the den. Kazbek sniffed the air to the full extent of his nostrils, and let out a huff of satisfaction as he stepped out from the medic's den. The den that was once Viciado's, now turned over to Nerente, Illari, and Nerry. Finally, he was free from the clutches of medicines, now with his large wound reduced to a scar that he found heavy pride in; he was given the a-okay to leave the den. At least, he hoped. His worrisome sister may want to say otherwise...
On that note, he shuffled a bit away from the den so his sister wouldn't have much time to catch him, if he was right. He loved her, but he needed some time out of the den. Looking over his shoulder, he nodded when he felt far enough away, and began to nibble on his wings. Flight seemed like the funnest thing to do with his freedom, but smartest? Probably not. Luckily for him though, the sight of a familiar face that he felt like he hadn't seen in ages appeared a distance away from him. "Edmund!"
The small tan male looked half startled at the deep voice booming his name out of the quiet, and he nearly jumped out of his puffed fur. Upon seeing the abnormally muscled red male nearby though, he let his fur lie flat in relief. "Kazbek, good god you probably startled the whole pride."
But of course, the larger male didn't care one bit. He trotted right over towards his cub hood friend, grinning cheekily. "Sorry bud, guess my voice is just happy to get out of a den." Kazbek boasted, circling around to flop over next to him, curiosity making his ears prick. "How have you been?"
The smaller male sat with a sigh beside him, figuring that somewhere in that statement Kazbek meant since the battle between La Morte and Meurtrier. A simple shrug was given, as if it didn't bother him as much as it really did. "Fine I suppose, I left for a short time to gather my head. But alas, I'm back, and hoping to find Corona when I can..."
Kazbek looked up from chewing a flea from his large paw, cocking his head in question, "What about Alfwin?"
That was the question Edmund was afraid of. "I'm not sure how to approach him, honestly..." He muttered lowly, ears folding down as he thought of his dear brother. He missed him so much, the male he looked up to when his father was ripped from their lives, one of his legs to stand on... Did he have the heart to admit that he was almost afraid of him after what he had done to Brynneth? His heart sunk a bit just thinking about it, but sometime he really would have to confront it. Perhaps Alfwin would seek him on his own? He wasn't even sure if he was a thing on his brother's mind anymore. Kazbek shook his head, reminded of the thought of his own male sibling. "Hmph, brother troubles..."

Caylis | Rose Donovan | Evangeline Caliver | Lucas Helios
Caylis grinned as she saw her son and Brynneth's son, Edmund talk about, she smiled before walking over and nuzzling her son with a purr. "Good day, son. Good day, Edmund." she said with a comfortable look, though a flicker of sympathy fell in her gaze. She stood up with a chuckle. "So, boys. How are you two doing, hmm?" she said, wincing slightly, she was looking at Kazbek's scar, she sighed before smiling gently and looking to Edmund. "Hmm.." she said with a curious look. "I see that you feel alone, lonely.. I'm sorry to see that. However, you can come over and stay at our den anytime, you know." she offered with a grin. "I'm sure Kodiac, Iarri and Estavan won't mind." she said with a shrug. "Anything to make a lonely one happy." she said before looking at Kazbek's muscles. "Wow, son! Sooner or later, you'll have to impress the ladies!" she smirked, patting her son on the head.
Rose was sitting with her children growing, licking a paw gently, everything was going well. Shade would be so grateful! She just noticed the three at the corner of her eye with a smile. Ah, youth...
Evangeline zoomed up to Kazbek with a swoony gaze. "Hey, Kazbek! How's life, huh? Could you tell me about that battle between Meurtrier and La Morte? Pleaseeeeeeeee?" she looked up to him with cutie eyes, hugging his legs. "I'll do anything." she said with a cutie voice.
The large forest demonic made his way through the Veldt, he was an ally of Jaaku. Finally seeing his half-nephew, he grinned and nodded to him in respect. "Greetings, Edmund. Sorry if I may startle you, I am your half-uncle, half brother to your father. Icarus sent me here to accompany you before he died. The name is Lucas Helios." he murmured before dipping his head in respect for his nephew.. hopefully the other Helios wouldn't take it too badly..
[Holy shit. That was one of the biggest wall in my history ;w;]

Kazbek & Edmund
Both the boys perked as Caylis entered upon the scene, and Kazbek grew a wide grin upon his maw. "Hi mom!" He greeted, leaping up to surprise nuzzle her and bat at her playfully- gently so as not to knock her on her over. Edmund, on the meanwhile, stood by awkwardly with a half smile at the mother son affection. At least, until he was called upon. "Oh, it's okay Caylis, but thank you so much for the offer! I may think about it..." He mewed thankfully, for a moment actually considering the thought of sharing dens with the Kannon siblings, since Circa wasn't as much open to sleep with anymore that she was mostly busy.
However, he had the slightest feeling that Kazbek would be a pain in the ass to sleep next to, the big brute probably took up a good portion of the den. Regardless, the male turned to him, looking excited at the thought. "Yes! Edmund you should come and stay sometime, I can make room for you." He chuckled, and Edmund smiled a little bigger. The thought that his friend, and perhaps even his family, being there for him made him feel much better.
A small sound alerted the both of them once again, and the sight of a cub running towards them caught their full attentions. The sincerest delight flowed through Kazbek as she landed at his paws, begging him to pretty much tell the story of his triumph, in his eyes. He loved nothing more than to entertain cubs with stories, especially ones that included battle... Or himself. Luckily, this story included both! Chuckling, he rolled his shoulders smoothly, and flopped down with the cub between his paws playfully. "Well with those pretty little eyes fluttering at me, how can I not? Where would you like me to start?" He coo'ed, and Edmund meanwhile rolled his eyes. If she really want's the story of the battle from him, she'll be here forever, he mused in his head, starting to back away a bit as the focus went back to Kazbek.
Nodding to Caylis, he began to pad away in the other direction. "I'm gonna go hunt, I'll see you guys later." He lied with a purr, but left room for Kazbek and his new little friend to talk among themselves. He himself had no desire to relive the battle that he believed was his fault... After a while of walking away. his head slowly began to hang as he realized he was back to square one; alone. He sighed, but wondered if it really was such a bad thing anymore.
But and unfamiliar voice made his fur prickle in surprise, and as he turned, he wasn't greeted with familiarity like he was last time. He stood heavily guarded as the unfamiliar male addressed him casually, ready to run and alert Circa if he had to. But the male didn't seem to care that he looked frightened, he simply continued to talk anyway... And what he said made Edmund slowly cock his head the more he went on. Fur lying flat, ever so slightly, he worked up a mew of question. "M-my father had a brother? To accompany me?" Was he really sent here just for him? Did his father know what was going to happen to him? His mind seem filled with flying thoughts, yet he still wasn't sure how to react to the new male in front of him...

CARNAL, KODIAC, NOVOCAIN
[/i] Kodiac Kannon said to Kazbek. Then he turned to look at Edmund, though the young lad had already taken off. He had nothing to say to the boy anyway, then his gaze, finally, fell on Caylis. What did she mean by our den? Kodiac didn't sleep with the family most of the time, and he doubted Estavan to tolerate his family enough to do so either. His gaze narrowed, as if questioning her, then it lightened as he looked down at Kazbek and Eva'. Novocain was some distance away, lurking in the shadows of vegetation and slouching as he watched them from afar. Evangeline, his half sister, happy and curious. Kazbek, the battle born hero, Edmund.. Edmund. Then the adults doing what adults did best. Nag, bother, act superior. Novocain felt particularly spiteful after everything that had happened lately. Mother was exiled and his father was off on a mission of some sort. Novocain felt as if he only had Victoria and Firenze.[/ul][/blockquote]

Rose | Caylis | Evangeline | Lucas
Rose noticed Cocaine's child.. the poor boy.. she couldn't blame him. She looked at him sympathetically with a soft smile, rising to her paws and going over to the boy. The female made her way over to Novocain with a gentle smile. "Hello, dearie. You seem upset.. you want to talk about it or something?" she said with a warm smile.
Caylis was taken aback by Kodiac's appearance.. and his questioning look to her. She rose a brow, her gaze shown that she was trying to make them feel better. With that, she stayed silent, watching Kazbek tell the child his story.
Evangeline grinned. "Cool! I heard Cocaine and Funeral himself was there, and Uncle Zephyr too! Tell me! Tell me!" she grinned, looking up to Kazbek with eager eyes. She gasped as she looked to the scar on Kazbek's stomach. "Is that from the battle?!" she said, her ears flattening. "Someday, I wanna be one of the best warriors Meurtier ever lay their eyes on!"
Lucas nodded to him. "I am of Jaaku, an ally. There's no need to be frightened, I assure you." he said with a smile.. that resembled Icarus's. "Yes, he had a brother. He was.. aware of Tanya's jealousy.. he didn't get a chance to warn you all. So, he sent a hawk to me, saying that I would be your godfather. However, he didn't how hard it struck your mother." he said with a sigh, shaking his massive head in grief. "That's when I finally got to Jaaku, and Raegan accepted me. He sent me for you, Corona and Alfwin for comfort and protection." he said with a serious gaze. "I'm sorry." he said sadly, his red eyes met his nephew's greens. "Icarus was a great male and brother. And.. i'm sure he was a great father." he said, hoping he didn't cause Edmund grief..

Kazbek & Edmund
The large male rumbled a deep purr as his father came onto the scene as well, wanting to paw at him as well if a cub were not already all over them. "Thanks dad, and yes, it's worn proudly." He beamed, looking back down to the cub as so many questions spilled from her little mouth. The male let out a hearty chuckle, "Yes, yes, yes..." He mewed, trying gently to silence Evangeline so he could explain, in full, every little detail the cub could possibly want.
"The battle began when Circa was confronted with a female from the enemy, La Morte. You see we had no idea about the pride's existence, until this said female betrayed them, and told our dear Captain about everything." He began, voice turning into a suspenseful, story-telling tone for the best effect, "Perhaps things would have ended better, if other members of La Morte hadn't heard the fuss, and gathered against Circa to protect the traitor that had given away all their secrets. The Captain sent for help through Edmund, but it was not us that called the attack first; it was them! And what they ask for... They received." A dramatic pause ensued, before he moved on to the part about himself. "As I came upon the fight, I learned that the traitor had died by Alfwin's paws, and I turned to see my mother being pestered by this other red male... I would have no such thing! I attacked him with all the force in me, but he wasn't going to go down without a fight. That, my little peach, is how this scar was made. Luckily though, I got the upper hand, and the male stood no chance against me... He fell to my paws, and as he died, La Morte ran in fear. Two scores for Meurtrier, and zero for La Morte."
Edmund's eyes fell as the male continued, and a sigh escaped him. "So he did know..." He muttered, looking back up to Lucas in question, now letting his fur lie flat for the time being. "So... You're my uncle. Have you talked to any of my siblings yet?" He questioned, looking around as if one of them would be there, he wished at least one of them was. "I haven't talked to any of them since my mother died as well... I would be careful of Alfwin, though, he's not as... Open, as I am. As for Corona..." He said with a shrug, "I'm not too sure."

Alfwin was still recovering from his infection. The wound that tore his shoulder would prove a nasty scar. He stared at the ground, hiding in the bushes for a while, very unsure of how to approach his family after what he had done. His expression sank as he thought about Edmund. What could he possibly think of him after that? He chewed on his lower lip and buried his head in his paws. He did not regret killing his mother, but he knew it had been bad for Edmund. He heard voices and rose from the bushes, seeking out the source. He saw his brother and froze, despite how annoying he found Kazbek's boasting. He limped out from where he was, still unable to put much weight onto that leg. The new demonic intrigued him, but he remained silent.

Evangeline Caliver | Rose Donovan | Caylis | Lucas Helios
Evangeline looked up to Kazbek in amazement. "Cool! Nobody stands a chance against our beloved Meurtrier and Jaaku!" she purred in pride before grinning, looking up to the two, looking to Caylis. "You were there too, right?!" the child grinned, lashing her tail eagerly. "One day, i'll train so hard, i'll do my best to make Meurtrier happy!"
-Rose is awaiting responses from Novocain-
Caylis simply nodded with a smile to the child, though a flicker of sympathy ran through her, this was the child that Ryssor and Cocaine held. The poor girl.. she must have felt lonely.. without her siblings. She sighed before nodding to Kazbek. "Indeed, he saved me. I'm so proud of him. His first battle and he was a success!" she said with a prideful purr.
Lucas looked at him with a sigh. "You must feel lonely after all you three have been through. No, I haven't talked to Corona or Alfwin." he turned his head and nodded to Alfwin in respect and turning to Edmund. "I see you have Captain Circa as your caretaker. Know if you ever need me, I'm around." he said with a simple nod, laying down with a heave. "I'm getting a tad bit old, hehe." he said with a smirk, letting out a chuckle.

[/i] Kodiac chuckled. "Well, I'm off to hunt, I'll be back!" He said and turned to go hunt. Kodiac didn't want to give Caylis a chance to invite herself. He would have taken Kazbek, but his son was clearly caught up in the great telling of battle. Which he didn't mind. [/ul][/blockquote]

Corona Sulliveri
From birth the sister had always been the one with a bit more pep in her step. But recently the Demonic hybrid had reached an aloofness that seemed to swallow her up more and more with each passing day. Corona hadn't spoken to anyone in days. Not Circa, not Edmund, not even Iarri and most certainly not Alfwin. Her lonely stroll led her to a small gathering, which her vacant green gaze only lingered upon for a short time. The thought to approach slipped away as she spotted Alfwin. With ears pinning back and hackles slowly rising along her spine, her green's trailed after her brother; watching with clear cold hatred.

Kazbek & Edmund
A wave of pride flowed through the male as the cub seemed satisfied with his story, and a deep rumble in his throat noted his satisfaction. A chuckle escaped his maw at the cub's enthusiasm, "Indeed you'll be a fierce warrior! I have no doubts you'll be the bravest warrior out there." He said, moving his paws playfully as if gently pawing at her, a slight challenge of spar. A humorous smirk lit up his face, "Perhaps you could train with me, if you think you're strong enough."
Waiting for the cub's reply, only a glance was given around him to notice who was still around- and it came to his attention that a friend lingered in the background. One that he had made while within the caves of healing, and a smile passed her way invited her over. He wanted to speak out the invite, but couldn't draw his attentions away from the talkative cub for long, it would seem rude to not pay attention to a fan.
Edmund smiled, but wearily, still unsure of all this male was saying. He wanted to accept him, he really did, but was he ready to? Looking around for a moment, the sight of a familiar face caught his eye, and the want to relay this news to someone other than himself became a quick want. "Corona." He meowed, both happy to see her and eager to tell her, he padded from his spot to meet her. However, the look on her face made him halt his movement. Was she growling at him? He felt hurt for a moment, but soon realized her eyes went past him.
Oh. He looked behind him, and there was Alfwin. A pang of both coldness and longing made him shudder as he saw the male that once held his admiration. So much of him wanted to speak to him, but what sort of person was he now? Turning back to his sister, he mewed almost pleadingly for her to listen. His ears folded downward, and he looked almost submissive. He knew his sister had been just as hurt by the incident as he had, but did she blame him for their mother's death too? "Corona... Can I talk to you?"

Evangeline Caliver
The female grinned and nodded, giving him a smirk. Without hestitation, she zoomed around him, hoping to daze the older male before leaping and get a good grip on Kazbek's back, snarling playfully. She let out a war cry as she tried to bat at Kaz's neck with sheathed claws. If Kazbek tried to get her off, she would leap again and land on all fours. She had examined the warriors' techniques they used, it was clear that Evangeline was doing her best to be a skilled warrior. She panted slightly before roaring playfully. "Give it your best shot!"

Corona Sulliveri
Her gaze remained plastered to Alfwin. She hoped he looked her way. Hoped that he would see her pain, her anger, her disgust with him and now to never come near her again. Edmund's voice caught her attention. Corra hadn't even realized his approach. She looked at him now, expression softened but still grieved. "Of -" She paused to clear her throat, it was quite dry and crackled from the lack of usage, before trying again. "Of course." There was worry in his own gaze and Corona's mind immediately went to the thought of their brother hurting him as well. "Is everything okay?"

Alfwin remained glued to his spot, not moving a muscle. He took a step forward finally but then saw Corona. He could see the hate in her.eyes, but he had not thought her as attached to their mother as Edmund. Still, her aggression triggered his less pleasant side quite easily. The death of Icarus had started Alfwin's downhill spiral. When he was younger, he had some underlying mental instability, but now it was blooming and all could see that some important pieces were missing from the young male. He had an incredibly hard time reigning in his aggressive tendencies and right now, Corona was pulling out what he struggled to control. Brynneth's death had not even been his worst. He had fantasies about death. But he did not need the family knowing.
The demonic male bore his teeth at his sister and let his own fur stand. His face twisted into a snarl, an automatic response. Even injured, the young adult was still dangerous, but he was terribly unpredictable. He let out the low rumbling and stalked past her, acting as if he could not see his brother. He wanted to hear what Kazbek was saying, along with meeting the mystery child.
