Sinna & Casket
Casket looked very much broken, and all of him wanted so much to respond to the nuzzles given by the female that spoke to him... But honestly, he lacked the ability to move really. His brother's life was threatened now too? Suddenly he felt bad for not entering Meurtrier, maybe he could have helped? He wished he could easily point out which path was right, and which was wrong. As the dominant rose in front of him, he lowered to the ground in submission, feeling very much intimidated by the male's tone. There was no way he was willing to say anything against his commanding tone, but he was at the least put at an unease by it. For some reason, it felt as if, for a small moment, the male was blaming him.
Unable to hold the tension anymore, he was glad that a dash of grey in his periferals drew him away for the moment. Sinna had returned with Najisi, and immidiatly Casket struggled to look past the dominant in front of him, to see his mother. His heart pounded quite like hers did, would she really accept him? Or would she not even trust him. Pain gripped in his heart, and it was almost sickening the sort of suspense that fell upon the moment.
Finally though, his mother appeared, in all her fullness, beside the dominant male. It was her, no doubt it was her, Casket began to tremble. "M-mom?" He mewed, taking a single step towards her longingly, before stopping himself. There was no way he was getting closer to this Reno character until he knew it was safe. He looked from her, to Yasbi questionably, obviously questioning if he could approach her or not... His green eyes, the most definite echoing of Funeral's eyes, looked back at his mother hopefully. Yasbi & Cyber
Cyber lifted his head then, shaking it. "It's all clear." He stated, remaining close to Reno's side as he spoke up. Then glanced over to Yasbi once more as she tried to comfort the kid. He seemed pretty broken honestly, and Cyber felt the slightest amount of pity for him. But he kept silent. His turn for talk was over, and watched as Najisi walked up with Sinna.
Yasbi stayed close to Casket, her gaze lifting as Reno stood and spoke, and then flicking over to Najisi and Sinna as they both approached. Yasbi nodded to Najisi, "It's Casket, Naji." She said softly. Then, as Casket looked at her, she nosed him to step forward once more, being this close to him, she could smell the underlying scent of Najisi on him. "No one has followed him, he isn't with Meurtrier. He found us on his own." She stepped to the side slightly, allowing Casket to stand on his own, and giving an encouraging look to Najisi as well. |

Najisi Kain The ess was so tense, speechless. She didn't know what to say. Fear was there but something else. Joy? Worry? She couldn't describe it. Reno's touch was comforting, giving her the confidence to meet her son's steps forward. She nodded to Yasbi in grattitude. She seemed to be helping to calm her son. "Casket.. You... You're alive.. They didn't.. I thought..." She squeaked. Casket had gone missing not long after the fight. It was after she lost her position and mate. The way Cocaine treated her.. and the fact Casket was a runt.. Naji had always suspected Coke had carried out his own rule. It was why she hated the male so much more after her dethronement. She hated him for manipulating Funeral, yes, but the thought he slaughtered two of her cubs fueled her hate. Now she had a new reason to hate him.. Carnal.. She knew he was behind her hate.. and she knew he was likely corrupting Zenith.. "Where.. Where did you go? You were only a cub.. I thought I lost you.." |

Sinna & Casket
As his mother closed the distance, he immediately greeted her with a warm nuzzle, he wanted to wrap his paws around her and embrace her completely. "Yes, I'm alive mom..." He mewed quietly as he pressed his nose into her shoulder, ears folding down in guilt. She seemed so skeptical, and he knew it probably wasn't a good idea to leap to nuzzling her, but good god he missed her so much. He was happy to see she was alive and well, but he knew he had questions to answer...
"I ran away, I got scared... I should have came back sooner, I... I'm so sorry mom... Maybe I could have helped or something..." He muttered sorrowfully, feeling horrible at the fact that his mother had thought him lost. He wasn't lost, he had just been a coward when things got troubling. Of course, he was a cub, but it was all the same to his conscious. "I went off on my own. I just heard that a war was happening in Meurtrier recently... I had no idea it was between my parents." Najisi Kain Najisi moved to embrace her lost son. He didn't look so runty now. She was happy he ran, despite how much it worried her. It meant he wouldn't be killed.. Though she felt bad for not seeing things sooner.. For not taking the cubs and leaving.. maybe then none of this would've happened. Carnal wouldn't hate her. Osic wouldn't.. No.. She refused to believe he was dead. "Casket... I'm just happy you are alive. I'll explain everything. Just not here. Not on our boarders." She said quietly as she nuzzled her son. She turned to Yasbi and Cyber, nodding to them to send them to make a place for Casket to stay. She turned to Sinna and smiled. "Sinna.. Meet your older brother." She said and nudged Casket toward Sinna. She didn't even think that this could be a lie. That Casket had found Meur first and came here to deliver LM to his father. She would HOPE that Funeral would not try that. That somewhere, deep in him.. The Fune that loved her was still in there. That he'd at least respect that she mothered his cubs and would not purposely turn them against her. She wouldn't do that to Fune.. As much as she hate what happened.. Fune was still their father. "Reno.. Can he stay? I trust him. We can put a guard with him if you feel it's necessary.. just until I talk to him about what happened?" |

Cyber was the first to stand. He dipped his head to all that were there and flicked his tail against Reno's flank in a brief 'see you later' then he turned, but paused and waited for Yasbi. The small 'ess reached over to both Najisi and Casket and nuzzled hem both before she turned and took her leave, flashing a small last encouraging smile over her shoulder as she did so. She padded up to Cybers side and the two walked off together to do as Najisi silently asked/ordered of them. In one of the many dens they laid fresh bedding for the young teen.

Sinna & Casket
All the air sighed from Casket when his mother finally embraced him fully, trusting him, and a purr rumbled deep in his throat. It felt so nice to know that his mother did in fact still love him, and the explanation for the war was now the furthest thing from his mind. First was to get reacquainted. "Whenever you feel it best." He mewed, green gaze following his mother's to his previous snapper.
A great tidal wave of guilt came over her as the truth was spilled, and humiliation made her hesitate greatly as her mother nudged him closer. Sinna, in all her pessimism, was a tough cookie to crack when it came to trust. Her mother was the one soul she even trusted, not even Reno, her siblings, and especially not her half siblings of Funeral's, could be as easily trusted in her eyes. She gave an obvious skeptical look, but perhaps if he were willing to join and fight by their side in the war rather than running away to Meurtrier, maybe, just maybe.... She may learn to trust him a little more.
"Sorry for snapping at you." She said matter-of-factly, and Casket simply smiled down at her with an accepting nod. Somewhere inside of him spiteful and gleeful that she apologized, but the other half; happy to meet his half sister... But that was another question in the back of his mind. He looked to Reno, but found to evidence of this young girl being his... So who did their mother find after his own? It was a question to be asked later, the subject of his joining made his interests swivel towards his mother and the dominant again.

Najisi Kain How could he even need to ask? Of course he was welcome. Though he'd have to be put on a trail period. As much as Najisi hated to admit. This was war, and to ease the minds of the others, a trial period would be best. That wouldn't stop her from telling him everything. "Of course. You will be in a trial period for about a week or so. For the other's minds. I trust you, Casket, but it is war. We wont confine you to a den. But you will have an escort. I hope that is okay.." Naji licked her son's forhead and smiled. So happy he was even alive. She thought a moment. Hm.. She knew who could be his escort. Yasbi. She seemed to click well with Casket so.. they'd hopefully get a long and be fine until the week was up. "The female that greeted you. I'll talk to her and see if she can be your company for the week. But for now, come. I'll take you to a den where we can talk. Reno.. I want you with us. You know one side of the story as well." |

Casket
A purr rumbled deep in his throat as his mother licked his forehead, and he slipped his muzzle under her chin before pulling away. "I understand mom, I'll do whatever it takes to prove myself." He mumbled to her, smiling in reassurance. His head turned for a moment to look Yasbi's way, at least he had her as an escort, she was nice... Looking back to his mother, he nodded and readied to follow her to wherever den she was taking him. He was delighted to have at least a loving piece of family back, but he was still eager to know how things got this way... |

Najisi Kain As Najisi reached the secluded den, she sighed. She would tell him everything. But she would not make Funeral out to be a monster. Not to his own cub. She wasn't like that. When they reached the den she smiled and sat. "Casket. A lot has happened in your absence. It all started when you were born. I went to hide and have you and the others in peace. Only allowing Funeral to be close due to him being my mate, and your father.. However, the dark Captain, Cocaine never liked me. He snuck in and saw you being born. You were a runt. Small and weak. And Cocaine saw his chance.." She sighed. This wasn't easy. She wanted to be bitter. But she couldn't. She had to stay calm. It didn't matter though. She was hurting just retelling this story. "He told funeral about an old rule. Got into his head.. Said unfit cubs should be killed immediately. Without even asking me, Funeral passed the law, just after you were born. I fought him and Coke used my outburst to get into his head more and change him. Not long after, Funeral dismissed me as his mate and queen. The male that saved me.. He truly loved me once.. Threw me aside because I defended you. Because Cocaine's mind games.." Tears came to her eyes as she explained this. Even though she loved Reno dearly.. What happened with Funeral still weighed heavily on her heart. She never truly did recover from it. Just buried it in hopes it'd go away. "I tried to prove myself to funeral. I was their best spy. I trained their current ranks. But I was treated like trash by Funeral and his puppet master.. Then I met Reno. He despised the leadership. We shared a common goal. Quickly we became friends and hatched a plan. To bring down Ceon and restore Meurtrier to it's home. We hoped in doing so, wed get the due respect we deserved. So I left for Chitor, joining and pretending to have betrayed meurtrier. Reno was my contact and shuffled info to and from me and the pride. But I had to Ceon to trust me. So that I may lead him into an ambush. But I was weak.." She whispered the last part. She still hated herself for what she did. She hated herself for letting Ceon bed her. For falling for him from grief. She hated then still going through with the ambush and killing him.. "I was hurting. And lonely. And I did the one thing I shouldn't have as a spy. I let my emotions cloud my judgement and I fell for Ceon. I was pregnant. By the enemy leader. But I carried out the plan. Which I still regret. Funeral killed him and I killed one of his females. She had a cub from him. I had hoped that the pride would raise it. It was just an innocent cub. But funeral killed it without question. And thats when I knew my cubs would never be safe in Meurtrier. The ceremonies were held but neither Reno, nor I even received mention. Had it not been for us, Meur would still be sweating in the grotto and worrying they'd be found by Chitor. But no one batted an eye to us. It was all Funeral and Coke's doing. They won the war. Not us. So, naturally, Reno and I were upset. I met him in the grotto and we spoke. I told him I was pregnant. That was when we made the decision. To leave Meurtrier. At first Reno and I planned to do so to take out the leadership. I thought if Cocaine was gone.. Funeral would be normal again.. But with the news of my pregnancy, the plan was scrapped in favor of making a pride safe for my cubs." A lot of info. But it was all the truth. Meur branded them traitors. Even when nothing treacherous had even occurred. Najisi blamed herself. She was the only real traitor in LM. She lay with the enemy. That was treachery. And it only made her want to give herself over even more.. "We got away and hid out in volcano. I had my cubs. But I wanted so bad to talk to Carnal and Osic to explain. I never got my chance. One of our members betrayed us and spilled everything to meur. Saying we were a hell hole. But all we did was try to be good to each 'escapee'. Meur was called in and we had a battle. Carnal.. my own daughter.. your sister.. turned on me.. and stole my little Zenith.. Then came back to fight me.. No doubt Cocaine fed her lies of me.. I didnt abandon her and Osic.. I love them.. Love you.. I couldn't fight her back. But Cacaine I could fight. He won. Had Osic not stepped in to defend me.. I would have died. Now theres a good chance Osic is dead because of it. We lost Krankheit. Reno's close half brother.. We lost Brynneth. And Zenith was stolen.. That is why we are at war, son. Because Cocaine played Funeral like a fool.." |
