Sinna & ?
It was obvious to see, if someone were to walk onto the current situation in that very moment, that Sinna was quickly getting heated with this intruder that she had stopped at the border, perhaps too quickly did her outlook change from casual to defensive with this guy. Her hackles had raised in alarm when he so much as uttered the location where he had previously came from, it seemed that the sudden mention of it made alarm bells spring up in her head. "You're from the Veldt?" She hissed, and the male in front of her stepped back in confusion, taken aback by her sudden appearance of aggression. "Um... Yes? Bu-"
"So you're a Meurtrian!" Sinna snarled, and he shook his head hastily, biting his lip as he tried to take it all back.
"No! Well- I was, but I'm not now, I-"
"Oh yeah? How do I know you're not lying? You could just as easily be a spy." She snapped, shutting him down quick, though he had already pretty much guessed that he had clearly said the wrong thing to this lioness. His brow furrowed in frustration. "I can assure you I'm not, I just wanna see my mother." He tried to say calmly, but Sinna was having none of it today. What was with this paranoid kid? "Why would you come from the Veldt then?"
"Well if. You'd. Let. Me. Explain-!" He roared, making Sinna herself back up, purples widening with surprise at the loud tone of the other. Oh, so he wants to be loud now huh, Mr. Sassyass, so be it! She let out a roar right back out at him, and the two continued to fuss- at least until another presence was to arrive on the scene. [/size][/blockquote] |

Yasbi & Cyber
Both had been speaking softly to one another before a sharp voices cut their attention. One glace and they jolted to their paws, lunging forward and both dropping to either side of Sinna, although Cyber slipped between both little ones and growled to each. "Enough. What's going on here?" Cyber asked. Then flicked his tail at Sinna to speak, however he showed no aggressive signs to the opposite party quite yet.

The male's eyes clouded with worry as more gathered up around him. No no no, he didn't want to be attacked today, he came here to get away from the fighting! Not to get into it again with the other side! A glare shot towards the grey lioness, who shot a glare right back as she spoke. "This male says he came from Shadow Veldt. Meurtrier."
Green eyes rolled dramatically as a heavy sound of frustration escaped him, "I visited the Veldt before I came here, big whoop, that doesn't mean-"
"Big whoop! Are you not aware of what's between us and them? You said you were a Meurtrian a second ago! So what is it?" She snapped, but stopped herself from going further, before she would get scolded by the adults or whipped either one. The male, on the other hand, looked down for a moment. Almost looking guilty as he shook his head, he muttered and looked past the lioness, toward the adults that would hopefully listen a little bit more, "I just came here to see my mother, I heard she was here. Please, that's all I want, I didn't come to start trouble..." [/size][/blockquote] |

Both paused and looked up at one another then took in the others appearance carefully. It was hard pressed to trust one who'd said they were from the Veldt so they weren't going to. Cyber gave a nod to Yasbi and stepped moved behind the male as she took her turn to speak, giving Sinna a warning glance to stay quiet as she did so. "Unfortunately for you we can't allow you to leave now that you've found us. We are in war with Meurtrier and we won't make the same mistake we did last time." She paused to let this sink in. "However we won't lead you further into our territory just yet. Tell us, who is your mother, and more importantly - who are you?" Should Sinna open her maw again, Yasbi would shove her tail in Sinnas' mouth to hush her.

Sinna opened her mouth, only to get a mouth full of tail from Yasbi. The male on the other hand, nodded understandably, ears still folded to his head submissively. No way in, no way out, he was perfectly fine with not going back to Meurtrier... He had left when he was younger for a reason, and he wasn't planning on going back with the rumors he had heard, but there was one person he clearly wished to see in the midst of all this. Cyber caught sight of Reno as he slipped behind the male, and his flicked his ears in greeting but that was all. He didn't help the snort that escaped him when Yasbi shoved her tail in Sinna's mouth and his lips twitched upwards in amusement. Before he knew the situation took a different turn. Yasbi and Cyber shared another glace, startled. Yasbi looked at this male again - hell he looked like Najisi in a way, but the thought that this male was family to her had not crossed her mind. She swallowed hard. "Najisi will know you on sight if what you say is true..." She glanced at Cyber again, who gave a jerk of his head to something behind her, and she knew why. She'd heard the flap of wings but had not paid it any mind. Without turning, "Lord Reno? If you'll allow, Sinna can go get Lady Najisi. While we wait?" It was a matter of business - and Casket needed to know where his mother ranked here too. So in a way Yasbi tried to help him out a bit. Then she took her tail from Sinnas' mouth. "Go on you," she murmured gently, nudging the female away from the scene to go and get Naji. Yasbi turned back to Casket, "When were you last in Meurtrier? And are you sure no one followed you?" She asked next, sitting down now. This teenager wasn't going to harm them - and he would lose if he tried anything. Cyber kept his position behind Casket but he stayed on guard instead of relaxing. Yasbi brought up a good point.

Sinna & Casket
Sinna's mouth gaped slightly, he was a half brother? The young lioness looked about as shocked as Yasbi and Cyber... This was one of her mother and Funeral's cubs, that was the furthest thought from her mind when she saw him. Unsure how to take the news, she nodded slowly. "I'll go get her." She muttered before leaping off, and sprinting towards camp to find and fetch her mother.
Releif overtook Cas, and he was happy that for the time being, they understood him. So she really was here, and known, perhaps she was safe here. At least, he hoped. "I haven't been in Meurtrier since I was young, I left as soon as things got bad between my mother and my..." He trailed off, gaze lowering for moment. "I hadn't seen her nor Meurtrier in a long time, but rumors got around that a war was going on, so I went to see if she was okay, and my siblings too... But I didn't get to see them."
"I met with some younger kid that was lingering outside the borders, he said it wasn't a good idea for me to come in. A-and when I asked him if Najisi was there... He looked at me funny. He pointed me to La Morte... Which I'm guessing is here." He mewed, looking questionably up at the older adults, "I don't think anyone followed me, I just wanna know whats going on... Why's my mother here and not Meurtrier? Who are they at war with?" [/size][/blockquote] |

Wow I did all that from the phone. Impressive.. Well.. Kinda. Not gonna spam Kah to reply atm, she needs her rest >>, and I barely have the muse myself but I'll get one more post in before Sinna comes back with Naji. So for the first time - not on phone lol Yasbi & Cyber
Yasbi eyed him - he was being sincere, completely sincere, she couldn't detect any lies at all in what he said. She sighed though - that 'kid' made her wary, but she was sure either him nor the kid meant any ill will - but they could never be too cautious. "Cyber?" He nodded, and slipped away, the sound of his footfalls echoing among the mountain range as he ran. He'd make this as fast as possible, following Casket's scent trail back for a bit while keeping a sharp eye out.
Yasbi turned her gaze back to Casket, "It's just to make sure," she assured him. Then sighed slightly, "The majority of it is best heard from your mom, but La Morte is at war with Meurtrier, Najisi, your mother, leads with Reno." And she stepped slightly to the side to show the big red male that had been behind her watching from a short distance away. Then she hesitated. "Have you heard from any of your siblings? Or anything that's been going on in Meurtrier..?" She stayed as relaxed as possible as she motioned him to sit as well, to relax himself. |

Najisi Kain The ess was in the denn area, making sure each was well kept and keeping special care of the den that Tanzel was using. She wanted to help the new mother as much as she could. It wouldn't replace Ceon.. but.. She felt she owed the family. Had it not been for her, Maybe Ceon wouldn't have died. He was ambushed because of her. She cleared out discarded bones and sighed. She neared the pool and looked down at her scarred reflection. She seemed to constantly be plagued by questions. Was she weak? A horrible mother? Useless? She dipped the bones into the water to get a bit of blood into it. Sure enough, it stirred up the predatory fish and she quickly dragged a few to their catch pile. Perhaps all this den tidying was a show of longing. Her cubs were already mostly grown. Still young but they were taking their places as active members in the pride. She missed when they were babies. Empty nest syndrome possibly? Bah.. Whatever it was, she knew the fact Zenith and Osic weren't here helped to aggravate it. Carnal too. The look of hate in her eyes still haunted the queen of LM in her sleep. Naji had heard a commotion near the border. Her heart instantly sank. Had they been found again? Quickly she made her way out of the den area toward the beach. In her path she came across Sinna, who seemed to be on a mission? More worry. "Sinna? What are you doing?" |

Sinna & Casket
Sinna skidded to a stop as she saw Najisi. "Mom!" She panted, trotting over to her as she altered her course, the look on her face seemed to be unreadable so far; as she still wasn't sure what she thought about the news that she had received. "There's a male at the border, Cyber and Yasbi are questioning him, his name is... uh-" She paused, trying to remember what his name was, "Casket! He was looking for you..." She trailed, pausing for a long moment to see if her mother reacted to the name, before turning towards the place where she had ran from and beckoning her mother to follow.
Casket's heart sank like a ship, and his ears widened as if he was a cub again, a cold numbness crawling across his body. "W-wait..." He rasped, putting a paw up. "My mother is at war... With my father? I know it got bad between them, but..." His green eyes looked from one adult to the next, and then to Reno in the back. He had come to see his mother, only to learn that he had unknowingly chosen a side between his two parents? His parents that at one time both cared for him and loved him? He looked afraid and heartbroken for a moment, as if the world just came down on him in a sad realization. Looking back to the two that questioned him, a pleading look crossing his face. "Why?" Yasbi instantly felt bad for the boy, it was not his fault that he put himself in this situation - and it was not his fault that he was clueless. Her heart went out to him, and she moved toward him, keeping her body language calming, and pressed her side against his for support. He was family after all. She could see that now plain as day. She carefully chose her next words as she replied, "I, myself, am not exactly sure why, and Najisi is my sister," she wouldn't lie about the way she felt about Naji, "It wouldn't honestly be best heard from Najisi, and when she gets here, I'm sure she'll tell you everything." She gave him a small nuzzle, before pulling back to look at him again. "Carnal, your sister, is against Najisi, she has sided with your father. Osic... Najisi is worried about his fate. But Najisi will tell you everything when she gets here, I promise. She'll be thrilled to see you, Casket, I'm sure of that." The poor boy. His world was falling apart at the seems.
Cyber had made quick work of scouting, looking for any extra scent trails around Casket's or any where close and had come up with nothing. So he turned back, racing time now that he didn't have to worry about looking for other scent, and made it back at the end of Yasbi's slow talk. He trotted up to them, panting slightly, and moved over to Reno, giving Yasbi a questioning look. It seemed as if Reno was pretty content at the moment to let her handle things(aka not rushing Kah - ILU) so he sat by his brother. |

Najisi Kain The ess could tell her daughter was frantic. She tried to calm her child but her ears instantly perked at the name Casket. Something inside her made her jaw drop slightly. She knew a Casket.. Her runt was named that.. "Come on, Sinna. We need to get to the border. Is Reno there?" She asked as she suddenly changed demeanor. Her tone serious and she moved as if she was on a serious mission. Walk and talk, Sinna. Walk and talk. She slowly and cautiously came upon the scene, observing all that were there. Good, Reno was there and the 'intruder' seemed subdued enough. If this was a trick from meur.. Her claws unsheathed and gripped the ground. She would personally castrate Funeral AND Cocaine if this Casket was a Lie used to strike pain at her. She could not see the male yet, and moved to flank Reno, albeit cautiously. Her heart pounded as fears rang through her mind. It was Casket that they fought over. Coke would have wanted him killed. It was because of him that Coke put that stupid rule into Funeral's head! "Casket...?" She said wearily as she gazed upon him. He looked like her son.. but it had been so long since she had seen him. He was different as a cub. Hell, they all were. Her tail moved to press against Reno, a sign she was wanting comfort and was very much nervous of this whole encounter. |
