(I'll reply with Nerante and co once more have replied, this is just Parox.) PAROX
[/i] Parox snapped angrily. Hopefully Bacardi would stand up to this nonsense, too, as the player assumes she's still sitting right next to Parox.[/ul][/blockquote]

[/style][/td] [td][atrb=width,500,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign,top][bg=3D0002] » TOBERON & BACARDI Knowing that the events unfolding were not intended for his eyes and ears, Toberon hurried off with his parents. He gazed up at them, the question as to what would happen lingered in his mind. When would it be safe to return to their dens?
Fur prickled in devious excitement as slinging mud turned into slinging claws. Her eyes widened and she leaned forward at her half brother's actions. She peered around Alfwin at first, not seeing what the big deal was. So what if they were watching? It was their camp too, and Bacardi didn't see why they should be herded off like sheep when they weren't doing anything besides simply being there. She frowned, a growl rising in her throat. She muttered something under her breath. Her eyes snapped back to Alfwin and Parox as they started going at eachother. She leaped to her paws, her pupils narrowed to angry slits. "Piss off there, rat!" She hissed, raising a paw of her own in preparation to lash out. "This is our camp! Did'ja forget? You sayin' that every single one'a us who lives in these here dens gotta pack out 'cause some mutt says so?" She looked briefly at Parox. "Don't think so, bud. An' look, they gone away now anyways." She looked behind in with a huff. They seemed to have gone off to cry and get fixed up.

Iarri Kannon
Relief that her mentor was around eased Iarri, if only a little. He would know what to do if she slipped up. "Jaaku had an incident. One of Raegan's sons has a badly burned and cut paw. They asked for my assistance." She turned and looked at him worriedly, clearly asking him for guidance. The last time there were any major injuries she had had Viciado to guide her. Iarri was obviously very nervous. "Adelaide will be bringing the cub. Raegan has a face injury.. I invited him to come along so it could be tended to but whether he will is uncertain." As she ended the tigress appeared with Remus.

Remus went limb as he was picked up and carried again. His dirty golden eyes became concealed behind dark eyelids and the youngster started to ignore the world around him. The cub was exhausted from a mixture of minor blood loss, all the activity that had occurred this night, and the fact he was still a cub and therefore needed much more rest.
He flopped down onto his belly when his mother let him down, wanting nothing more than to sleep everything away. Maybe everything would be better after he woke up. Maybe he could save Adam in his sleep and his mother could be happy again. His eyes opened and he whined, licking at his throbbing paw - it hurt so much, but the taste of iron was pleasant in his mouth so he kept at it as the adults spoke.

Aidan & Nixen
Nixen stood up next to Bacardi and Parox, silent as usual as he rose to his full height and glared down at the mutt, backing Bacardi up with his presence alone.
Aidan bared her teeth in a silent snarl as Adelaide pulled Remus back, but her eyes however opened wide at Raegan's display as he lashed out at everyone to leave. She fixed herself to stand tall though, jaw clenced for a moment as he moved in between her and Adelaide. To her, he'd made his choice clear on who he was backing up, but it didn't surprise her. However, the blood dripping down the side of his face did touch a place within her heart and she softened considerably as she looked upon her father. Her tail lashed behind her, but her claws retracted even as Adelaide came to try and pull Raegan with her. Whether or not he followed remains to be seen but Aidan stepped back. "Go get that looked at, Raegan." No dad. No daddy. She couldn't address him as such and she didn't know why, but her voice was soft as ever. "Adelaide clearly can't speak for herself right now." She couldn't help the small jab towards the tigeress, but it was true regardless of the hidden meaning. And only a small sneer was on the tigeress' name. She had never liked her before, and she hadn't been given time to like the girl before they'd had kids. And now especially her loathing of the woman was at it's highest because the 'ess hadn't really tried with her either at all. And when things got bad, she protected the pre-teen that was her kid like any mother. It disgusted her honestly, and if every mother was going to lose their brains even over the cubs that were clearly insane and deserved to be put down, she wasn't going to have any part of it. Mother life wasn't for her. Nope. Not a chance.
Her ears however, flicked back when Bacardi and Parox and Alfwin got loud and she narrowed her eyes briefly, wondering about their little drama fest. Then shrugged it off. She had no care for them. Just as they had no care for her - although she snorted softly to herself at Alfwin trying to play a bigger role than what he was. Another crazy kid among them. Why were all the mutts the crazy ones? She took another few steps back anyway. Waiting for either her dad's response or for him to turn and leave himself and follow his little mate. [/blockquote]

Alfwin did not even flinch as the other struck him. In fact, he seemed rather pleased. The mutt had issues with aggression, thus, picking fights was how he released it. He cared not if he won or lost, it was all practice and release. Born a sociopath, he developed psychosis at the loss of his father. Had his life proved uneventful, he would have passed through clan life seeming just like a strange, brooding male. It was not the case. With the exception of a few, he had little concern for the feelings or rights of others, hence his current behavior. It would have been obvious that he had not thought his actions through, considering that the odds here were stacked against him.
"Only confident when you have your buddies to back you up? That's fun," he stated, sounding a bit excited. Bacardi's words were only interpreted in pieces and phrases. He tried to conform to normal behavior, he truly did, but he had tremendous difficulty, and often did his best to use rules and orders to his advantage. His abnormal, obsessive fascination with Raegan was the only thing that kept him somewhat grounded, or made him appear to have a normal motivation. He looked to Nixen and Bacardi. A soft sneer appeared, ever so slight. Should anything bad happen, it could be assumed that Alfwin would easily find someone to blame, unless addressed by Raegan.
Alfwin squared his shoulders and looked like he was hoping for a fight.

Romulus Alkaev & Raegan Alkaev
Romulus looked a bit surprised when Severus praised him, he didn’t expect it and it meant little coming from his brother, but it was still something. Before he could get a word in; however, Severus had picked up and left his side, oh well. The young liger continued to observe the others in the area, it was difficult to focus on all the interesting things happening around him at once. His ears picked up on Rachel’s crying, but he didn’t move and figured she would be alright with Isaer with her so he didn't move. Romulus watched his mother leave with Remus in her jaws, following behind Iarri. His ears twitched to the right and his head followed. A fight looked like it was about to happen between four of his clan-mates, interesting. At first Romulus wanted to get involved, but he soon realized he would be terribly outnumbered and his strength was nowhere near theirs, not to mention it wasn’t any of his business.
Casting his gaze away from the scene his bright emerald eyes eventually snapped to his father and Aidan. It sounded weird to him when Aidan called his father but his first name rather than father or something of that nature, he shrugged. Romulus’ nose wrinkled at that last jab Aidan shot at his mother, even if she wasn’t there to hear it. Disrespectful. Not only to his mother, but also to his father, who happened to be hers as well. He shook his head disapprovingly, he didn’t understand Aidan at all. Bored and having nothing better to do, Romulus rose to his paws and stretched before walking over to meet Severus, “She has gone with Areta, it might be best to leave her.”
Raegan gave a brusque nod to Iarri; however, doubtful that she saw it as she turned to leave. His ears twitched as Areta’s voice reached him, he was comfortable with Adalynn in her care, and was grateful. Raegan caught the look Adelaide gave him, but he didn’t flinch. He could tell she was disappointed with his actions, but he knew his own mind and body and what he had to do in that moment. Granted, it probably could have been something a bit less severe, but even then she still would have been disappointed. His tail brushed against his mate’s flank as she walked away, he would accompany her soon, but not just yet. Emeralds moved to focus on his daughter, Aidan, who also needed his attention. It was odd being called by his first name, he knew Aidan only did so when she was upset with him, “I will soon.” He took a step toward her and moved his tongue over her ear apologetically. He noticed the scuffle happening a ways from him, but ignored it for now. He would only intervene lest it become bloody.

Aidan & Nixen
Nixen snorted loudly - which was unlike him, but he eyed Alfwin for quite sometime before his mouth opened and he spoke, another thing unlike him. "You bring it upon yourself when you started with our cousin." He cocked his head to one side, mane falling across one of his eyes. "You are a no body and you fail to realize this. You have no authority over us, and you are outnumbered because we choose to back our cousin up over a silly little mutt like you. Best you choose to make the wise decision and walk away. After all," His lip quirked upward. "Your precious leader dismissed you as well. Better be a good boy and do as he says, no?" Probably one of the few times he would ever speak so much at one time, but when he was done, he went back to his quiet state, his smirk gone.
Aidan forced herself to stay still as Raegan stepped toward her and gave her a lick. Her gaze dropped to the ground, but she gave a heavy sigh and nudged him back, head butting him softly on his chest before moving her head up to nestle under her father's own for a brief moment before she pulled away again. Pink tongue flicked out to brush her fur back against her maw, and she shuffled her paws. She couldn't help but feel dejected from all that had happened now. She'd raged pretty badly, that she knew, but she didn't like being blamed for what happened, and she didn't like what she had witnessed. And it didn't help that Remus had seemingly targeted her next... "It was bad." Was all she said. "I've never seen something like that before..." She trailed off and shook her head. "Adelaide needs you." She muttered, taking another small step back. She had some sense at least. They were mates, and Adelaide's only main secure support was really given from Raegan himself. Perhaps she also didn't believe at this point that Raegan would actually choose to stay with her of course, but that was her own personal opinions that she would never make clear to anyone. PAROX, NERANTE, ISAER
[/i] Parox talked as if Alfwin wasn't even there. "He can't help that he's --" Parox made a crazy circle and stuck his tongue out, indicating he meant Alfwin was stupid or nuts. "His mum was a no good traitor and his dad died because he was weak. C'mon, let's go somewhere that the air isn't tainted by filth." By all means, Parox was hopeful that'd hit a nerve and cause Alfwin to attack them. Looking back on it later, Parox would realize he was a major dickbag, but would likely not care anymore than he did in the moment. Nerante made a humming noise as he listened to Iarri and then looked at Adelaide and the cub, Remus. Now unfortunately Kah has little to no knowledge on burns, so bear with her please, and know her lack of knowledge is not Nerante's. He turned his gaze on the cubs paw. There was no touching yet. The child seemed tired. He had to be. It sounded as if he had an eventful day. Not the good kind either. Nerante turned to Iarri. "Poppy Seeds. At least three to start." He looked up at Adelaide. "They'll help with the shock, ease his pain, and they'll also, probably, make him a bit tired. It helps us deal with the burnt paw better." He leaned down to Remus. "You'll have to chew on the poppy seeds, okay?" Nerante wouldn't take no for an answer, but with so many around, he couldn't so freely use magic to aide him. This may be more challenging than he first though, especially if the cub objects to treatment. Isaer was still a little stunned. He really hadn't heard much of what had happened. Something about Adam, Romulus, and Remus. Dead? Hurt? He shook his head, little ears pinned against his skull and fat, cub paws padded out of the den a little as he looked around for his mum and dad. Iarri Kannon
She nodded then departed for the stock room. There she grabbed the seeds but paused and examined everything else. What else would help.. Well Honey for one might encourage the cub to eat the seeds. "Nmm.." She hummed in thought. "Ah! I'll take some of this as well." When she had everything Iarri made her way back.
She sat a small leaf down before the cub, placing three poppy seeds upon it. Before offering it to him she poured just a few sweet drops of honey on each small seed. "That'll make it taste much better." She piped enthusiastically. Turning to the tigress she offered her two small white flower heads. "We mostly use this for fever.. but it also does a great job of getting rid of headaches." Iarri couldn't imagine the stress that Adelaide was going through right now. If she needed it the blossomed aide was there. If not, okay. "I also found this hiding in the back." She turned to Nerante then, displaying the broken off aloe stem.

[/style][/td] [td][atrb=width,500,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign,top][bg=3D0002] » BACARDI As soon as Alfwin fell into a challenging stance, Bacardi was all-too ready to meet it. She pushed forward, letting out a snarl. "Oh it's a blast, hun. Too bad ya' don't have any of your own!" she spat, her fur prickling as she lowered her head and prepared herself in case the male was to strike out. At the words of her usually quiet brother, Bacardi loosened her posture slightly and raised her head. She used her shoulder to bump Nixen, showing him in her own way that she appreciated both his presence and his backup. She tossed her head towards her brother. "This guy knows what he's talkin'bout!" She realized that her sibling didn't say too much, but when he did, it was worth a listen. A wicked smirk tore across her muzzle as she looked at Parox out of the corner of her eyes. At his gesture, she erupted with vicious laughter. "Bet this leaf sure don't fall far from it's tree. Get outta here!"

"Mnh." The cub whined, turning away. He was still on milk for the most part, and had little interest in the honey coated seeds. He did not understand that this was medication to help him, and Remus just wanted to sleep.
The Demonic Liger was pretty much dosing at this point, despite the pain on his paw.

(Decided to do a time skip to get this going again.)
Ever since the incident, Remus had been kept practically a prisoner in the den by his mother. He barely got the chance to leave without the closest supervision, and even then the time out barely lasted.
Before long however, Remus grew to become restless. He was now pre-teen, and spent most of his waking hours pacing around impatiently. During the last three days, he had even started growling to himself, but any unusual behavior was quickly stopped by his mother, but the rage was mounting...
Remus stopped pacing to stare at his mother, panting softly. It wasn't that he disliked his mother; no, he loved her very much, but he could not handle being holed up in this tiny den while the rest of the pride, his beloved siblings, played out in the sun. The Demonic Liger continued to stare, waiting for her to interact with him.

Adelaide lounged at the opening of the den, eyes half closed, her depression preventing her from interacting much. The ache in her chest had dulled slightly, but she did not yet feel ready to deal with the entire clan. Not to mention Aidan. Her muzzle wrinkled slightly at the thought of her step-daughter. She knew Remus was growing restless, and it was not as if she could blame him, but the thought of him out and about alone made her heart race.
A black shadow passed by her den and she let out a small sigh. Adelaide returned her attention to Remus. "Don't stare at me like I am a piece of prey. Do you intend to eat me?" She stood and stretched. She too had become restless, but her fear had confined her as well. "I am going for a walk. You may join me, love." Her lush tail flicked at her beloved son as she stepped out of their den. She had to speak to Neo. The quiet brute was intelligent and dealt with a brother who rarely seemed sane. It was only logical that he would be able to assist.

Remus lowered his head as Adelaide addressed him at last, and let out a whine. But when she suggested a walk, the boys head rose, and he bolted to her in a manner a bit too enthusiastic about getting outside. As a matter of fact, he crashed into her. Still not big enough to push her over, but Remus was growing strong, there was no doubt he'd grow up to be a brute...
The Demonic Liger followed his mother. By now he was no longer limping. The burn showed, but it had all but scarred. No fur grew there anymore and never will again. He also had difficulty using his claws on that foot. As they walked, Remus looked for his siblings.
