CARNAL[/i] Carnal purred in reply. Her tail wrapped itself around his as she closed her eyes and thought about.. things. Kazbek was her mate. She never thought that, at such a young time in her life, that she would acquire a mate. At least not one as handsome as Kazbek, or as strong and brave as him. Thoughts trailed off into what her family would thing. Funeral and Devyn had offered their support, when she admitted her feelings, regarding Kazbek to them. She had no worries there. What about Osic, though? How would he react?
Despite the recent tensions between the siblings who had been so close, she still cared for him deep, deep down. Carnal was merely hurt that Osic had hesitated to protect their traitorous mother at all. Even more hurt that their mother was a traitor whore. Carnal wanted nothing to do with Zenith, too. Half sibling or not, Carnal felt as if blame could be pinned on Zenith for all of the wrong in her family.
Then Kimiko and Dhalia came to mind. Dhalia had been all over Kazbek back there. Did she .. like Kazbek? It began to tug at and worry Carnal. Dhalia had a powerful, influential family to back her up. What if Dhalia used her father and mother to take Kazbek from her? Or worse. No doubt Jasper could make Carnal disappear and no one would know a thing. Such thoughts brought rocks to her belly and made her feel queasy.
N-no. Asesino wouldn't allow that. Asesino was blood and, despite the old woman's nagging, would surely not let harm come to Carnal, especially after she'd found ... love. Nevertheless, Jasper was intimidating.. best not to upset his children. Or mate, at that. Kimiko would be potentially problematic too. Blast her senseless need to be a 'perfect Crimson'... Carnal huffed. Upon realizing her thoughts had brought a physical reaction out of her, she glanced up at Kazbek.
"Think we should tell our families?" She asked. Not that she would object, but it was.. how? How do they tell them?[/ul][/blockquote]
