The spotted male had been walking by his son, a smile coming on his features, calling. "Hello, my son. How are you?" he asked with a purr, nuzzling him before waiting for the boy to respond, a surge of pride erupted in him as he saw his boy grow up so fast. It overwhelmed him, honestly.

The same with Raven, Baine, Laike and Mon Amie." he smiled warmly before chuckling. "I am quite sure that you'll make the pride proud. No doubt about it." he stated with a assuring grin, patting his son's head.

Jasper chuckled and followed his son, just to be careful. "Just a tip, try not to make a sound while stalking prey." he whispered before watching carefully. "Don't go too close to them, though." he stated before focusing.

Jasper chuckled before walking up to him. "Cheer up son, you weren't even trained yet. But when you do get older and start training, i'm sure you'll be a brilliant hunter. I assure you." he purred, trying to reassure his son.

Raven & Laika
Even in the constant darkness, she could tell just by smell and sound that her brother and father was nearby. Her tail twitched excitedly, but her paws stayed planted, at least until Laika showed up again- smelling of blood and hare. "I see you caught something good, is it plump?" She purred, and listened to the audible sound of Laika dropping the prey and licking her chops. "Very!"
The two sisters often traveled together, Laika would take Raven out on her hunts with her so she could get some fresh air and a bit more experience of the Savannah, yet rarely let her blind sister wonder too far from her own sight. Raven would politely wait until her sister returned with something good to eat. The sound of the rabbit being scooted towards her made her even hungrier. "Wanna share?" Laika mewed, but Raven shook her head. "Elliot and Jasper are nearby... Should we see if they want some too?"
There was a clear silence as her half sister thought, but the purr soon returned. "Sure, let's go find them, shall we?" and she felt her pelt being brushed against as Laika pulled up beside her, ready to guide her. "But you have a better smell than I do, so help me out."
Amusement filled Raven, and she knew what Laika was truly doing, but she wasn't going to make a fuss in any way. Her tail motioned in the direction of the gazelles hopping away, starting to move towards where they had ran from. "Of course, they're this way."

Morphine was little away from his daughter-s. He followed them incase anything were to happen to them. After all, they were still young and anything was possible. The male hadn't returned to Meurtrier in such a long time he knew they would notice, but care, they would not. There was nothing there for him anymore, then again, there never was. Unlike here in Gespenster, he thought to himself maybe it was time to settle here? He'd talk to Zeitgeist later.
He continued to trail the young females before coming and facing Jasper and Elliot. He nodded at him in greeting, he no longer messed with the male it had grew boring. He smiled at Elliot, another cub that he took part in raising. It was odd, being a father to cubs that weren't his and having another male do the same to his own. It gave him a sense of respect for Jasper.

Jasper chuckled as he let Elliot tackle him. "Hhmhm! I think i'll let Zeitgeist know." he said with a shrug before nuzzling him. "You're doing great already!" He said before looking back to Laika and Raven with a purr. "Heyo, guys!" He looked up to Morphine with surprise.. he hadn't even gave him that look again! He smiled before nodding to him in respect. He had to thank the black male for taking care of his and Morphine's, without him, Fable would be running all over the place screaming 'Help me!'. Or at least.. that's what he thought. He looked up to Morphine. "Hmm.. perhaps Morphine and I can train you, Elliot. What do you think, Morphine?" he said, before attempting to get up.

Raven & Laika
Raven purred loudly as she approached her family, and Morphine too came onto the scene. She couldn't see them, but she could smell them, and she immediately parted from Laika's side to nuzzle both her fathers. She had since learned of the crack between her litter, yet didn't care one bit; she loved both of them as her fathers, and Morphine was just as equally there as Jasper or her mother, how could she not include him? All three sought for their well being, and she knew that.
Even the tension that usually hung around the two males had subsided, and both girls were happy to see them getting along for once. Laika dropped the hare she had caught and went to nuzzle Morphine, only to pick it up again. "I caught my first hare, maybe we can share it?..." But she trailed off, realizing even a plump hare wouldn't get passed around easily to this many gatherers, but oh well; she was just proud of her catch. It was the first without her mother by her side; as soon as Fable became able enough, she would take her and her siblings out for a small hunting demonstration, and it looked as if it was paying off. The young red 'ess showed the signs so far, perhaps she would be a huntress like her mother- while being as strong and able as Morphine.

He nodded at Jasper, agreeing to teach Elliot. "Yes, I don't see any harm in that." he leaned forward nuzzling both of his girls, giving Laika a congratulatory lick for her kill. "It looks so delicious, but I'll pass maybe I'll take you to hunt something bigger soon." he said proudly. Morphine got up and took the lead. "So, shall we let the girls devour the rabbit first, or shall we get moving? It'd be a lesson for each of us to get something out of." he walked towards Raven, "Even you can learn something about hunting." |
