Last To Know [Zeitgeist]

[This is a scene where Zeitgeist and Jasper have a talk about Morphine, Fable and the cubs, if that's okay with you, Kah.]

Jasper Iblisi

The spotted male looked deep down into his reflection with a concerned and sad look.. he felt as if they were hiding something from him.. he didn't like it.. he wasn't jealous or anything, he just didn't like the fact that he wasn't told anything.. even when he and Fable were friends.. why didn't she tell him? He sighed in frustration, laying his head on his paws with a sad look.. he had nobody to talk to about his feelings.. everyone seemed so busy with everything and here he was, feeling like trash. He knew Morphine was trying to make him feel jealous, he wasn't stupid.. Morphine just wanted to make him snap.. when he did nothing wrong! What was with that?! He looked into his reflection as he sighed, if he snapped.. Fable, his children.. his family would hate him.

This was just what he needed! "Just great..." he muttered irritably before waiting to see if anyone would approach, that confused and stressed look on his face.

[/i] He said upon approach. He didn't hear anything the male had said before. "I'd like a word with you."[/ul][/blockquote]

His gaze met Zeit's and sighed, standing up. "O-okay.. is there something wrong with me, m'lord?" he said quietly, more of a plea than a question.. he hated being like this and he hated to upset the dominant even more. With that, he nodded slowly and let him speak.

[/i] He continued his approach, but slower. It was possible that his subordinate was not in the right mindset. "Well.. only you can tell me that, I'm just here to talk about some stuff that's come up recently.. with Fable, and all of that. I need you to keep an open mind, okay?" He said.[/ul][/blockquote]

He sighed, ears pinned to his skull before looking into the demonic's eyes. He was nervous now.. but hopefully, everything would be fine. His green optics searched the male's expression.. he seemed calm as usual. "Okay, sir." he sat down, tail curled neatly, the last thing anyone needed was stress, so he stayed strong, his greens now showing seriousness yet a calming gaze on the dominant male.

Jasper nodded in understanding, with a sigh. "I know how she must feel now with Morphine around. It's for the cubs and I understand. However, what I am concerned about is how Morphine and I get along." he said calmly before dipping his head. "This may sound skeptical but truly it is the honest truth. I see Morphine smirking back at me, I seen it a couple of days ago. He was rubbing heads with Fable to make me jealous. Which I am not and never will be, it's all up to Fable and I respect that. I just don't know what I've done wrong to make him do that. I mean no harm to him, the cubs or the pride. I'm sure I've proven all of you that, if not, I'll try again and again to make things right." he said calmly, shrugging.

[/i] He said at last with an understanding nod. "You don't need to prove anything to me. Having you apart of Gespenster is enough. We, unlike other prides, don't have high standards for those who join our ranks. A little loyalty, love, and care. And I am not unreasonable." Zeitgeist said. He placed a paw delicately on Jasper. "Love is tough, and hard, at a young age, and I'm glad you understand that Fable just needs her space." His paw was placed on the ground again. "As for Morphine, he is our guest. Talk to him about it sometime. If he persists with this behavior, come to me again, and I'll talk to him." Zeitgeist's tone was more serious. "Does that sound good?"[/ul][/blockquote]
