Chronic
Body lay curled in the warm Savannah dirt. Blue gaze watched an ant try to climb and conquer the path over his stilled tail. Yet Chronic didn't see it though he watched, his mind lingered elsewhere. Blackened ears gave a sharp twitch as a call rang out. A call for him. Chronic quickly got up and scrambled to seek out his father. Excitement now shone brightly in his eyes. Was this another adventure? Another life lesson? A hunt?! The smaller demonic came to a halt directly in front of the Dominant. "I'm here I'm here!" He exclaimed, tail lashing as if wagging.

Chronic
His grin did ultimately falter to the mention of the cubs. However, he had learned a few things from the accident. There was not as much hatred in him anymore but jealousy still riddled his feelings for them. "Oh.. O-Okay." He followed the darker demonic with a bit of hesitation, but Crow knew when his father was angry; and angry he was not.

ZEITGEIST
[/i] Zeitgeist began. "You're from my first litter. And you survived everything. You're very near and dear to me and I'd hate to know if you're upset -- over anything, Chronic." He paused but kept walking. "Your half siblings also mean a lot to me. Though I'm sure you know this. But what I need to know is... what's going on? In that head of yours? How do you feel?" About the half siblings and all of course. Though he assumed Chronic would understand that.[/ul][/blockquote]

Chronic
"I.." He began then paused. He what? He had never really analyzed his feelings. All he knew was his distaste, and he was aware of his own jealously though he would probably never admit to it aloud. He tried to think about it, really think. There were hardly any, if at all, secrets when it came to him and his father. He had a ease with the older male that he would most likely never have with anyone else. The bond ran deep. "I just.. I guess I just don't understand. I don't understand why everyone dotes all over them when they've never proven themselves... Why their mother loves them so much and would do anything for them and mine.." Maybe that was it. The fact that he was no longer the center of his father's affections did play a key role, but that was something he could eventually come to understand and get over. But the fact that they had both caring parents and he didn't.. He know realized it hurt. How come she's not here for me?" His eyes now looked up to Zeigeist almost pleadingly, wishing that he had an answer.

ZEITGEIST
[/i] Zeitgeist sighed and raised his head to the sky. "I'm honest with you, Chronic. I don't know why your mother isn't here, or your siblings. I've.. always feared the worst happened to them during the move." He lowered his head to look at Chronic. "It's why I've tried my best to hold you close to me. I know how painful it is to lose your mother, and more. And I want nothing more than for you to know I still care so, so very deeply for you."[/ul][/blockquote]
