Ni had been hiding from the heaviest drizzles of rain underneath a tree when it finally lightened up. She was still not used to all the rain but she was happy as long as the jungle had plenty of places to take shelter. The bobcat ess jumped out from her hiding and went on a stroll to find her two other pridemates. Her optics surveyed the surroundings till they found someone on a rock. Verdammt had obviously decided to take advantage of the rare sunlight. "Enjoying the sun?" she chirped.

The blue bobcat ess nodded, "Yes, every ray of sunshine should be taken advantage of. Who knows how long it will last before another drizzle of rain appears. I hid under a tree earlier today when it rained the most. I must have found a good spot cause I'm pretty dry." she chirped and sat down to groom her blue fur.

Humble beginnings were, at the very least, a start. The splintering of Zeitgeist had flung its members far and wide, and though he did miss his parents, siblings, and the once-were friends and pridemates, he found himself indifferent to their small number. Company was still such, and for now they had one simple direction--finding old members or recruiting new blood.
Darker audits flicked forward at the sound of voices and he would emerge from his close-by respite, recognizing the owners and catching light of the other two in their merry band of three. He'd give a smile in greeting, tail tapping lightly against the waxy fauna. "Nothing like a good tan, hm?" He'd arch a brow toward Verdammt before dismissing it with a laugh, hardly one to talk with his darker fur. "It's nice to see the two of you." With that, his gaze would shift to Ni. |

[/i] Verdammt said thoughtfully as he considered the possibilities. There weren't a whole lot, and he was no expect at throwing together a fake den. Maybe they needed to dig dens for themselves; pad the den with smooth rocks and moss. His attention turned up toward Zehn and laughed in response. "And you as well. The sun graces us today. Time to take the chance to warm our furs and think up better den possibilities, as I was telling Ni here. Have you any suggestions?"[/ul][/blockquote] |

The blue bobcat dipped her head to Zehn"Lovely weather, ain't it?" she chirped. "Dens? Yes, it'd be nice with a more permanent place to sleep. A bed without moist and dirt." She took a moment to think. Where could they find dens like that? "Something solid.. Like a mountain or a rock formation? ".

Hmm. Having proper dens was certainly a necessity--safety, a dry place to keep out of the near constant rainfall, and other various positives. "Most earth would be too moist to dig into in any extent and hold shape for materials while stone would be a trifle to carve, taking time we don't have between the few of us--if need be, there're many fallen trees scattered about. We could rather easily construct something with the logs, use ferns to rainproof them, and tie it together with vines." Prisms flicked to Ni and he nodded, a casual smile curling his lips. "Certainly is. Days like today, you can practically feel the jungle humming." A little throwback to his rather naturalistic mother, who always treated the jungle as the living, breathing being it was. Regardless, he'd split his attention onto the two of them and add, "It couldn't hurt to keep an eye out for any caves we're certain are clear, however." |

Ni listened to them both and nodded, "No objections Sir. I could take the eastern side of the jungle. I've yet to explore that part." she said and gazed east. Who knew what she could find there? She just hoped it was something positive.

"Agreed." The male nodded, posture straightening as he scanned through his memories for anything fitting these descriptions. Truth be told, he wasn't too fond of a cave unless it had a back exit--much like Zeit's old royal den. It was certainly safer, being able to escape should something block the entrance. He neglected to mention this--taking good faith Verd was intelligent enough to figure that one out without having the obvious pointed out to him.
"I'll take the south; shouldn't take too long." He was familiar with that area. "I'll head west after that." |

"I'm actually looking for a pride. For me and my friend. She's going to be having cubs and a place to stay would be.. nice. My name is Sessian." He said. Verdammt nodded and waited for the others to add their own input. Zehn and Nii's voices would not go unheard by Verdammt. MAYLIN They'd been travelling for a good while now but it seemed like such a long time ago that they had entered the vast thick jungle they were now in, although this place looked appealing with it's luxurious greenery and booming waterfalls some thing about this place seemed odd though it may have just been the weird creatures she had seen whilst venturing in this place, the big multi coloured birds had surprised her at first now she wanted nothing better then to swat at them to go away as they seemed to be flying around every where like flys.
The female let out an irritated sigh as she walked behind her friend, it had been his idea to come into this jungle but Maylin was getting the feeling like they were lost or wandering in circles, it didn't help that all these tree's looked the same. She trusted Sessian in finding them a suitable home though, the signs of pregnancy rounding her belly.
Maylin was about to ask her companion if he in fact had any idea where they were going at all until her mouth snapped shut as they walked straight into three other creatures. The female quickly hid behind some foliage as stupid as it was as her blue fur sticks out like a sore thumb in this green environment. She mentally curses Sessian for leading them here.
'Stupid teasing flirt you..'Though the male who had snapped at her friend quickly seemed to lose his aggression as Sessian as always was honest with him.

Ni had been searching and working for about a day or so, but the result was decent. She was enjoying a well-earned rest in one of their dens when Verdammt came. something was not right and the bobcat got on her paws quicly to assist Verdammt. A twig snapped and a figure appeared. She listened quietly as Verdammt spoke to the stranger.

To call him impressed was a fairly accurate thing to say; they'd done well with this construction. Seemed safe, dependable, useful. It'd keep them dry, keep them warm, and everything you'd expect out of such a camp.
Giving in to a moment of respite, he'd stretched out, muzzle resting upon his paws and tassel flicking every so often as he lay upon the border of half-awareness. It didn't take much therefore to rouse him, and his audits flared forward as the sound of intrusion greeted them all in turn.
"You're in Neuanfang territory."
"Sorry! But.. a pride, you are? I'm actually looking for a pride. For me and my friend. She's going to be having cubs and a place to stay would be.. nice. My name is Sessian."
His eyes would fall to the femme and he studied her; what a bold move, sir. Few would so readily approach a pride's camp and declare the pregnancy of a female--it entailed some form of sincerity, and whatever pros and cons stood therein. He'd nod his head toward Verdammt after a moment of contemplation--his affirmative vote for their entry. They could certainly use the numbers, and with how little confrontation they'd had thus far, they were in good shape for supporting a new family--he had confidence. |
