Stella
The female sat alone, and flicked her tail behind her. The cubs were with Cocaine as per usual, it seemed this litter had taken a liking to him. Not to mention that he was always taking them to play with the other cubs, his other cubs. It stung a little to think that, but the thought of Ripthier would quickly soothe it. It seems they've both found new love interest, and she had accepted that.
The ess' hadn't spoken to all of her children yet. Kururu, the son she was closest to had no given her an answer. She knew her son was torn apart at the idea of leaving his new siblings. He cared for them deeply. If he chose to stay, Stella would be forever in his debt. Someone who she trusted would be watching over her cubs.

Sepheral
The red 'ess had been pacing the Veldt, avoiding everyone. Her mind was whirling. Thoughts were racing a mile a minuye and there was nothing she could do about it. The deed had been done and she couldn't help but think of her brothers words, of what he had spoken to her about. It frightened her, the knowledge she now held. And he trusted her with it.
Sepheral rounded one of the mountain sides and prontply froze. "Stella?" She frantically searched for hiding - but it was too late now. Even if she tried to duck, Stella would have heard her for one, and seen the flash of red pelt. So Sepheral didn't try to hide. Instead she stood, frozen like a deer caught in headlights, and her heart began pounding again.

Stella turned to look as her name was called. Oh? This female, why did she look at Stella like that. Was something the matter? "Can I help you?" she asked, getting up and staring at her. Her body language showed that she had become defensive. Her stance showed surprise, was she coming to do something? Had Stella caught her in the act of committing a crime? She tilted her head. Or maybe she feared Stella?

Sepheral swallowed hard, then stepped toward the female. She walked closely, so the two females were three feet away from one another, and pinned her ears to her skull. "Stella, I must speak quickly. My brother has.. Informed me of some very startling things, and he wishes me to ask if you would leave with me. I'm daughter of Flame and Balthier, my name is Sepheral." Hopefully that alone would give Stella the information she needed. 'My brother is Ripthier' was what she tried to convey. "I stuck around Meurtrier for my siblings, but I am not close to any of them, and while I put family first, he is also my brother, and so I must help him. Please Stella.. I don't have much time, and I'm sure you understand why." The act alone was nearly committing treason - she was asking the commanders' mate to abandon Meurtrier with her. Shifting back and forth, Sepheral waited nearly impatiently, anxiety crawling up her spine. |

Confused the female pulled her neck back and gave her a confused look. "Right...give me a minute." she thought over what she said. That name, why was it so familiar? Balthier from Meurtrier? No, he hadn't any cub of his own. Hell, he didn't even have a mate. "Balthier..." she said to herself.....her head lifting as she thought, Balthier...he looked like Ripthier so much...even if he was an Iden, she never asked Ripthier last name.."I don't understand." she said shaking her head. She had some clues, but this was confusing and all very sudden. This female, she didn't even know her. How could she trust her?

The 'ess would have face palmed if she could have, and her anxiety calmed a bit in almost amusement before it spiked a bit again. If she didn't make the connection, she wouldn't trust Sepheral, and Sepheral desperately needed that right now. "Stella!" She whisper-shouted the next line. "Ripthier! Ripthier is my brother!" Stella's eyes grew wide. Ripthier, his name was uttered by another female and jealousy overcame the female where a growl almost came forth but when the word brother rang. It hit her. Oh. He sent for her? "I see..." she nodded, "Okay." she agreed. "I will follow you. Meet me at the border." she got up and walked away as if nothing happened. "Tonight."

Sepheral nodded, and she walked in the opposite direction, her heart pounding still. Mission success. She owed it to Ripthier. She would complete it at all costs and get Stella safely to her brother. He so owed her in return... And done!  |
