(No, this isn't an actual birth thread, it takes place a short time after when Suture finally crawls out of her hole and shows them to the pride, if that's ok with Kah? They can walk, but can barely talk at this point.) Suture
It wouldn't be surprising if no one had seen Suture for a good week. Even if they had, the brief sightings would have been met with ill contempt on her in, the lioness had switched into major defense mode; overly protective of the little ones now nestled inside a den safely within the territory. They were the dominant's cubs as well as hers, her protectiveness may have increased due to her pride in them as well. Not a soul dare peek their head in unless they wanted it swiped off in a fury, not even Zeitgeist though he may have been granted a foot more of tolerance, the allowed distance was only eased at the offering of food, likely brought by Fable; who was also showing faint signs of carrying little ones. Today, however, was a change. The cubs now wobbled around inside the den eagerly, and it was making Suture a nervous wreck already... They were going to be brought outside today, to see the world for the first time outside of the den... And the pride. Suture's head shown out first already looking aggressive and ready to pounce if any threat showed itself, and she let out a call to Zeitgeist; they where his cubs after all, he should have the first look at them, besides herself. He wasn't likely to be the only one to hear though, the other members may come in curiosity... So be it. She then sat by the den, looking inside to her cubs with a softer, loving and encouraging expression to coax them out slowly. "Come out and see the world, little ones. It's only a short climb."

Sinn | Chronic
What light that managed to seep into the den was soothing. Soft on the young cubs developing eyes. Tiny gaze peered out with a squint. For now they were the typical young blue, but eventually they would slide their color to a more fierce red-orange. Paws that were a tad awkwardly big for his little body padded somewhat clumsily to the entrance. Suture and his siblings were the only things Sinn knew. Other than food of course. Suture's beckoning had the youth poking out his head with great confidence. As he aged the Demonic mix cub was showing more and more signs of his soon to be daring personality. Already he was stingy when it came to his siblings. A bright mew shook his body as he waddled to his mother's side. A purr vibrated his entirety as he roughly rubbed himself against her fore leg.
Black ears flicked and then perked to a call. Brightly blue's slowly lifted from the baby bird that flailed helplessly between large paws. For a moment the male was silent, simply observing. Finally his attentions swerved around looking for the dominant. Irritation suddenly filled Crow. With a growl his ears flattened to his skull and his abrupt movement to stand carelessly snapped the neck of the bird. Normally Chronic held his head high, as well as his tail. But now his features were not as regal. Head shoulder level and tail lashing about behind him, the male demonic trotted his way off from the area. He did not care if his father wanted him around to greet his new "siblings". They were nothing to Crow. Symbols of weakness. He was better. He would always be better. He was a survivor. He was strong. Their upbringing would make them soft! All this and more ran through Chronic's mind. He had been unusually detached and moody from the moment suspicion arose of Suture's pregnancy.

Jack | Jasper Iblisi
Little blue eyes awakened as he tried to climb up with little claws and succeeded, he mewed brightly to his brother, Sinn beside him in greeting. He nuzzled his mother's foreleg with a purr and licked it. Mama... he thought with pride. Where's daddy? he thought with curiosity. He noticed another being, a larger version of a demonic lion. He started to let out little roars with encouragement for his father to come.
Jasper noticed Suture and little cubs creeping about as he looked to see Chronic, another of Zeitgeist's spawn. He sat by him. "What's wrong?" he said, trying to see what was wrong with the youth. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

ZEITGEIST & RAVYN
Whispered the demonic dominant as he observed the children. One of them, a little female, stumbled out. Ravyn had cautiously followed her mothers voice. It was safety, mother was safety and warmth and food. So into the day she went, surprised by the space, the light, the sounds and smells. It kept her close to Suture, not too eager on exploring further. [/ul][/blockquote]

[If i'm taking someone's turn, I apologize.]
Jack giggled and stepped forward clumsily, and landing on his father's paw. Letting out mews of friendly greetings, as if he was speaking; Daddy! Daddy! Green eyes looked up to his father, he grinned up to him innocently, he mewed to his other siblings with friendly calls to greet their father. With a purr, he curled up and licked his father's paws with soft little licks.

Suture & Rah & Fable
As he first little one crawled out and to her paws, her nervousness gave way to a smile as she bent down to lick his little head. But her pelt prickled as she got a look from Chronic. It was a look that made her want to give him a good slap with her paw; jealousy. He was only jealous of her wonderful cubs, she was sure. A warning, silent show of her teeth told him he was momentarily on her list.
Meanwhile other members were gathering around, Fable was one of them. Her belly had slightly begun to bulge as well, and the sight of cubs made her purr in delight. She lit near Jasper, nudging him away from Chronic as the male left. "He doesn't look as if he wants to be talked to, let the kid be." She said softly, but felt a bit uneasy at the way Chronic did look at the cubs. She hoped his dislike of them wouldn't prompt something.
Suture took her eyes off the grumbly male to look at the others, who seemed more joyful, and she calmed. Once Zeitgeist had appeared, she knew she could worry no more. As the last lazy cub, Rah, emerged from the den she kept her eyes not on the members, but on them. Even Zeitgeist made her wary about his approach, and she breifly let out a few warning signs, but finally she let him lay near where the cubs could come to him. She would still have her golden eyes firmly planted though, and her paws ready.
Rah was the first to notice the male in front of him, big eyes widened in curiosity, but then went back to a squint in the daylight. Even though he was the laziest and last out of the den, he made no hesitation in waddling up to the other form and sniffing his paw with a squeak.

Jasper purred and nudged Fable, the mother-to-be of his cubs softly, not to harm her. The spotted male nuzzled her in a friend way. "We going to tell Zeit yet after he's done with the cubs?" she smiled, eyes shining. He too, was getting uneasy about Chronic's jealousy, like Fable. He knew what that was like in his old days, his father told stories about Caylis, a Hallowess who killed her own sister from jealousy. He shivered. He hoped that Chronic wasn't going to end up like that. Hell no. he thought to himself.
Hanso walked out from the den as he smiled to see little cubs, a mix of a Demonic and a Voodanian, so he heard. He had heard of demonic lions in his stories but he had never heard of a Voodanian before! Interesting to him. Maybe after, he would ask Zeitgeist all about Voodanians and learn about them. He noticed his son and a female he knew he had a lovey dovey crush on. He made his way over to his son and nuzzled him. "Everything okay here, son?" he purred. Jasper replied with a nod as Hanso introduced himself. "I am Hanso Iblisi, Jasper's father. We bear quite a resemblance, don't you think?" he purred, golden eyes gleaming, waiting for Fable's response.

Suture & Rah & Fable
"Yes." Fable said, looking at the male around his cubs in front of her. It warmed her heart and also made her sick in a mournful way. A painful heartbeat throbbed for her mother's presence and for a split second she yearned to be a cub again. It was only the lightest of prods in her belly that made her mind go elsewhere, and away from the feeling that made her forlorn. Looking to Jasper, she gave a faint smile and leaned on him for support; not only physically, but spiritually as well.
Suture's ears perked as Ravyn did her exploration towards her father, only to come back running. For a moment she hissed softly, figuring he had scared her deliberately as any mother would leap to conclusions, but she realized her cubs had to get used to some things like their father; something they had never encountered before. Sighing and rasping her tongue over hear daughter's tufted head, she purred. "It's alright, lovely, you're safe. That's your father." She said it whether the cub understood the term father or not, she would learn to.
Rah had flicked a look to his sister as she ran off, and with some hesitation he followed, figuring if she had a reason to run, he did as well. Though he only stayed at his mother's feet long enough to hear the new word father. Red eyes cocking at the larger male, his back fluff bristled and he again made another curious approach. This time, a braver one. Sniffing the male once again he offered a small gummy bite of confidence before wobbling away in a hurry.

Chronic | Sinn | Evolette
A deadly glare found its way toward the spotted male. Fable's retrieval of Jasper was enough to save him from whatever cruel things Chronic could think up. Again he moved away yet a nudge gave him pause. A quick purr rumbled before fading. The dominant was the last one the male wanted to feel anger towards. "I will be hunting.." It was low but surely loud enough to be heard before the father was off to the den. Chronic got a few more feet before company was at his side. Dex was always an enjoyable taunting target, but now there were no jokes from the younger male. "Or something." He sneered though not aimed at Dex. "We may come from the same pair of balls but not the same womb. And if you ask me, the womb is what counts." Not meaning to, Crow was on a ranting roll, a growl flowing with each harsh word. "They are nothing. They will never be anything to me. Everyone can gush and Suture can flaunt all she wants but they are weak little runts!" With that he gave a deep huff.
There was so much to see. So many new sights, sounds and scents. It seemed more and more unfamiliar faces just kept popping up. Unlike his siblings Sinn paid absolutely no mind to their apparent father. He had no idea what that was. But if Suture wasn't making a big deal over the male then he wasn't. A fly whizzed passed the cubs ear causing him to mew out with surprise. Eyes followed the insect as best they could before it landed. A growl rattled the cub. To him it was the most vicious sound he had ever made. Adults would most likely hear it as an awkward gurgle. Quickly his rump went skyward, tail lashing violently. Yet before the cub could launch himself, something else caught his eye. Eyes widened before sliding into slits. A loud battle cry erupted from his tiny body as he barreled himself toward hi new prey. It swayed and flicked, teasing the cub with its movements. Once he got there Sinn proceeded to bat, nibble and death roll Fable's tail.
Pale orbs followed after an angered young demonic. Thoughts of approach crossed her mind but the way he looked at the spotted had her rethinking. Instead Evolette made her way towards the others. A soft smile crossed her face and a nod went towards Suture. "The two of you produced a lovely batch." She cooed warmly, gaze tracing each cub in turn. True she was a purest, and an open one at that, but even she had to admit that these young were something to be proud of. Curious and strong. Healthy new arrivals

He said, perhaps a little too boldly. That didn't stop him from walking with Chronic though. "Where's your mother anyway? You seem a pure demonic and yet I've yet to see anyone who would qualify as your mother around here. And you certainly seem to have a seething hate for Suture and the new cubs. Despite them sharing half of your fathers blood.. but as you said, the balls don't count.. to you at least." He went on, alert for signs of life, things to hunt. Jack giggled as he saw his brother play with a large femine figure's tail [Fable.], he let out little meows and noticed a large female figure [Evolette.] talking to his... father? He had no clue what that was, he started to lash his tail and stand tall like his father. He had a grin and looked up at his mother and father for any reactions.
Jasper looked at Fable and smiled, nuzzling her. Oh, how he wished to say that she was beautiful but he remembered that night where he confessed to Fable and she rejected him. Thoughtful eyes on Fable as he raised his head. "Perhaps, when both litters are ready to play, perhaps they can be great friends." he said with a smile.

Suture & Rah & Fable
Fable meowed in surprise as her tail was ambushed, and she lifted her tail with the cub attached and laughed to the other mother. "I can see you have a little warrior already Suture, he's about as vicious as you are!" She joked as she swayed her tail to and fro, giving the cub a good challenge, to which Rah also looked at as enticing now. As the cub waddled on to help his brother, Suture sneered at Fable's joke, but it came out more of a smirk. Inwardly, pride beamed for her healthy, powerful cubs. What more could she ask for? They were no less than perfect, and would be fantastic fighters in their adulthood, she and Zeitgeist would be sure of it. In the back of her mind Chronic's ill manor still bothered her, and she looked around nervously for him in a slight paranoia. If he dare put a claw on her cubs... If his attitude furthered, she felt as if she would have to talk to Zeit about it. But for now, she pushed it out of her mind and called out to her two warriors rolling over Fable's tail. "Loves, please don't tear up any of your pride members, they're important."
