Caylis sighed as she looked to the winged feline who was asking her questions. "Honestly, I don't mean to offend anyone but.. it's a long story which I don't feel like talking about right now.. i'm tired and I still haven't got an update yet on what I've missed." she said with a tired and exhausted look, giving the female a nod. "Thank you, miss..?" she said with a brow raised before turning to see Iarri have a look of anger at her, hopefully her daughter would forgive her one day before turning to all the others and would nod to them all with respect even if some gave her a furious look. Even the Hallowess needed to treat her rivals and friends with respect.. even if some thought bad of her. She did not care.

She waited a minute as Odysseia introduced herself, before nodding and answering Caylis's question as the other 'ess turned to leave. "Yes, if your tired, you should rest for a bit. Wouldn't want to throw everything at you at once. Besides, you need a break from this atmosphere." She said, motioning to the small pile of prey that had accumulated over the past few successful days in front of the dens, Caylis looked like she needed a bite or two, and a good rest. "If you want; we can go someplace less stressful and catch up?"

Caylis nodded in respect to both of them before she trailed off to the hare and apparently ate it as if she was needing it desperately, she was going to serve Meurtrier no matter what anyone said. The Hallowess lay there after she ate, looking about once every few minutes as if she was expecting anyone else to approach, she just lay her head down on her paws with a tired look.

Corvette was bored, but unfortunately wide awake. He found that constantly spending time in the water was keeping him out of the loop. The air was plenty humid, so he was fine for now. He glanced about, wondering if he should go catch a fish and then drill someone what was going on today. Aqua orbs found a female who he remembered well, as she had ruined his hunt once or twice. His brows lifted and his clawed feet scraped along the ground as he approached the small gathering of individuals. The shark-faced feline stayed on the outskirts, though his long ears picked up on a few snide words passed from one of Cocaine's spawn and another who was not familiar. His head tilted and his tailed waved behind him. Might as well investigate.

As he observed the reunion, he frowned slightly. "I've always wondered what it might be like to have a family. But I must say, attachment doesn't seem like something I need." His spine cracked as he stretched. "Haven't seen you about before. I'm not the most attentive eavesdropper, could I have your name?" he inquired with a grin, obviously possessing a mouth with too many teeth. "The reason I probably haven't seen you before is because I spend most of my time under the water. Lazy cat fish."

Cassius yawned, about to agree with Fracture. He wondered if the other male was interested in talking afterwards or if they would end up going their separate ways. He stretched his back a little, curving it inwards until he could feel the tension. He didn't really have anything better to be doing, and sulking on the sidelines seemed to have attracted a bit of attention. He could imagine himself in this sort of company. Maybe his pride wasn't all bad.
His mouth parted to form words in response to Fracture, but he found himself about to speak to a new arrival on the scene. He tipped his head to look over at Corvette. He had seen the strange feline around the veldt, as he supposed that would have been a bit hard to miss. He hadn't been sure what to think of it, but now was as good a time as any for a first impression. "Ah.. yes. Not a necessity, I suppose. A hindrance, if anything." His gaze drifted down to where Caylis was, and then over to anyone else who was around them. "My name is Cassius. And yourself?" He nodded after his words, and then quietly added, "Aha, well.. I would imagine so." There was quite clearly a reason for the being's need for water. He wrapped his tail around his paws.

Now that things were slowly dissipating, the small red 'ess decided she wanted to be around those she could say she loved. However Kazbek was probably the last one who wanted her around and Estavan was looking rather angry himself.
The thought of cuddling up next to daddy was a welcome one. A smile almost found her before she decided to go off and find the big red male. However she was stopped why another voice. Bright blues widened in shock at this stranger's appearance. But curiosity soon replaced it. Not wanting to be rude she ceased her gawking and offered a smile. Gaze strained to focus on Corvette's face and not continue to examine his very peculiar features.
