(pfpfpfpff I'm posting new things too much I'm sorry)Edmund & Circa Da'ei
Edmund huffed as he bolted across the grasses, looking for Circa. Tears welled at his eyes and in his cub heart there was a swelling, a fear that every cub feared; when they couldn't find their mother. Oh he had looked for her, long and hard to, even wailed for her, but she was nowhere to be found, and now he ran for his siblings. First his father, now his mother was out of his sights as well? He needed help, he felt like he was loosing it fast as he came upon the dens finally, and let out a desperate yell, careless of the sleeping members likely around near the morning. "Circa, Circa!"
The red 'ess had been sleeping peacefully at the thought of things running smoothly within the pride, but baby blues shot open in surprise when she heard the cub outside. "Edmund?" She muttered as she slowly rose and padded to the entrance, unaware at how truly desperate the cub was for her assistance. As soon as she stuck her head out she saw him though, shaking in the middle of the clearing and looking around frantically, and her pace took no haste in quickening to get up to him. "Edmund! What's wrong?" But the cub only looked up at her pleadingly, and ran under her paws, clinging to them tightly as nothing but the worst came through his troubled mind. "C-Circa, I can't find Mama." The cub obviously tried to say it calmly, but it wasn't very successful, he sputtered slightly, and Circa's ears went up in alert.
For a moment she thought deeply about how odd the atmosphere seemed before today, but the first thing she felt the need to say was to the shaking cub; "Don't worry Edmund, she's probably around her somewhere... I'll help you find her." But as they scoured for the yellow lioness, there was no Brynneth to be found, anywhere. The absence of some faces had began to worry the temporary captain as well, as she had went and poked her head silently into all of the dens; and some faces usually present, were not... It didn't initially worry her, but unease was creeping up on her; she hoped she wasn't being too paranoid. Now uneasy and disappointed at their findings, her and Edmund- now even feeling worse than before- ended up right where they had started. Biting her lip, Circa looked around those who now stirred and dared to disturb them again. "I'm sorry for this but- has anyone seen Brynneth?"

Osic | Zalui
Purple's moved with the steady, though quick, analysis of that of a predatory bird. Wings flapped slowly, paws occasionally moving through the air as if clawing through the clouds. From high up all looked small, but a particularly small figure caught Osic's attention. Clearly there was a cub running around. Through all the wind Osic could pick up the faint yells and pleas from this cub. Tilting ground-ward the young male got a better ear to the frantic mews and calls. Now at a full land Osic bound toward Edmund, spotting Circa now there as well. "What's up, what's wrong?" Eyes scanned the two faces, audits perking toward Circa as she asked her question. "Can't say I have." He muttered, gaze peering down to Bryn's son.
A disgruntled growl rumbled through the demon and rattled the rocks beneath him. One lid slid open to reveal a molten glare. Somewhere a cub cried for its mother. With an agitated snarl, Zalui leapt to his massive paws, now on a mission to put an end to the wailing; one way or another. Upon seeing who the cub was that was in distress, Zal could only shake his head. Brynneth had always been a daft one. In his opinion she had had no business bringing life into the world. This only served to prove him right. If she was off somewhere mourning that mate of hers again.. BAH! She clearly had other things to tend to. "Quiet yourself child!" The Shadowed-Demon snapped, tail lashing with clear irritation. Yellow's quickly landed onto his daughter. She may be the temporary Captain but to Zalui that did not make her above him. "Mind explaining to me why that friend of yours is not tending to her young?" Attentions moved toward Osic before completely ignoring the youth once more.

CARNAL DONOVAN
Snapped Carnal. "I hardly doubt Cocaine or Funeral would enjoy hearing that you talked in such a tone to Captain Circa, hmmm?" She hummed and narrowed her gaze on him. While she had no real friendship toward Circa and never before any quarrels with Zalui, she would indefinitely mock or pick at anyone who tossed an attitude toward a figure of authority in the pride. She had the utmost respect for them and their decisions. And Cocaine and Funeral's decisions for temporary captain was Circa - making Circa deserving of Carnal's respect. She turned her gaze back on the temporary Captain. "I haven't seen Brynneth around. And come to think of it, I haven't seen our own mother either." Carnal said as she thought about Najisi and gave Osic a curious look. "Have you seen mother around, Osic? I know she'd been a wanderer lately within the Veldt itself but every scent of her seems faint."[/ul][/blockquote]

Alfwin appeared quite relaxed as he laid with the large Neo Crimson. The giant did not mind talking to the youth, due to his maturity and eloquence. "Alfwin, I am not saying that you are wrong, however, you for get my age and experience in such matters. I still believe your experiment would end in disaster. There is not a creature in this pride who is my senior." The young teen nodded and conceded to Neo. Voices reached the pair's ears, though Neo could hear the exact words. "Edmund is worried. Your mother has disappeared, it seems." His opinion of the ostentatious lioness dropped significantly at that point. He looked to Alfwin and was surprised to see a vacant expression on the youth's face. "I am sorry for your loss."
The demonic blinked and shook his head. "Don't be. I lost all respect for her a while back. It is not a loss for me, though I am worried about my siblings..." He stood and began to walk off in the direction of the commotion. "Will you help search?"
Neo nodded and took off, circling well above the trees, searching for the elusive female. He had the eyes of a hawk, yet this quarry would elude him. While he was in the air, he took note of other absences and alerted his brother to it.
"Neo is looking from above," Alfwin stated as he entered the group, though he hardly appeared upset.

Edmund & Circa Da'ei
The flows of answers from the approaching members didn't do much to ease his mind. Even as his brother came upon him, he showed no signs of sadness or worry; and it made Edmund shudder. Had he just not gotten it? Had their mother actually left them? He didn't want to think bad of her, but as it appeared, her job at mothering had become very displeasing to many of the members and obviously Alfwin, and the more his mother left him alone the more he sought out comfort from their unrelated but ever present 'aunt'. To whom he now looked up to in the hopes she would make things better.
All she could do was give the cub a half-reassuring smile and a noticing nod to Alfwin as he informed her of Neo's help, and nudged the lighter cub towards his brother, murmuring to them both, "Why don't you two find your sister and stay in the dens, we can handle this." She said, inwardly not wanting to loose any of them as well, and rather wanted them to be out of earshot. As they had become close to her, she had equally grown to them. Taking care of them seemed to awaken a motherly, caring sense inside of her that made her feel proud as if she where stronger looking after them, to an importance even above the temporary rank she earned. Osic's approach made her heart leap, happy he was one of the first ones to come to her aid; she knew he wouldn't decline helping. His answer didn't bring any good news within it, however, and she sighed forlornly. "My god I hope she didn't do something drastic... To herself? She was taking Icarus's death hard..."
The poor other lion didn't get an immediate chance to respond, before Zalui's harsh words penetrated the hushed mummers. To it, her tail gave an annoyed lash, I'm not responsible for her actions, this is important for the cubs sake! For a moment it seemed he almost heard her, but she shook the thought away to prepare a rebuttal. She never got it, as Carnal's voice from behind her combated it before she could even speak back. She was awfully surprised and worried by her challenge to her father, but her heart warmed to know she had support... Especially from Carnal. Her next voiced news made Circa's mind jog, and she continued. "Yes, I noticed her missing as well when I checked the caves... Lothaire too, though I don't know too much of his innings and outings. Is anyone else missing?"

Zalui Xemvoi | Osic Donovan
No outward acknowledgment was given to the winged female that had spoken to him. But it did take every ounce of him to not slap Carnal in the face with his tail. The flames would surely singe her whiskers and leave a very nasty black spot on the lighter parts of her muzzle. Yes, that thought was pleasing. Yet, Zalui stayed unmoving, giving no reactions but to the one he had addressed. Pupils dilated for a moment before sliding back into their normal snake like slits. There was a feeling of anxiety that was not his. It lingered in his thoughts for only a few seconds before dispelling again. Perhaps Zalui would never get full communication with his daughter, however she may be strong enough to send him emotions. Whether she knew it or not. Yet, this was not the time for any sort of explanations. "I suppose I should put what tracking skills I have to the test." If it had only been the cub's mother missing then he would have never "offered" help, but there were more members of the pride gone. Being a spy meant his skills in observation were off the charts. Not being very sociable left him in the shadows to watch everything that went on. True, he had noticed some of the faces that are now missing coming and going. It had been gradual yet a great uninterest to Zalui, so he had not questioned it. "I suppose I'll stalk through any mountain pass ways that lead in and out of the Veldt." And with that, he turned and leisurely jogged towards the looming mounds of earth.
Osic's ears flattened to the mention of their mother. "I hardly remember the last time we ever spoke to one another. Mother and I." Purpled gaze followed after the horned big red feline. Osic had been paying attention to his sister he had not caught what Circa's father had said but hopefully he was going to help at least. The winged male then turned back to Carnal. "Last I think I ever saw of her she was with that Reno dude. She seemed to have gained some weight too." His head cocked to one side in thought. "Maybe father's rejection of her upset her so much but she still wanted ties to the Donovans that she ran into the wings of that big red idiot. Having his cubs and what not. Then maybe they thought it too risky and are hiding out with their new little family." It was no secret that Osic had a distaste for Reno. To him Reno was to blame for their mother's seemingly sudden neglect of her two children. "But that wouldn't account for Bryn and Loth. Brynneth doesn't seem like Loth's type so I doubt they'd run away together." Wings fluffed up for a moment and gaze travelled toward the throne. "Has anyone asked Funeral of this yet? Perhaps he has an answer. Maybe he sent each off to do something and it slipped his mind to let anyone else know?"

[style=width:450px;margin: 0 auto 0 auto;background-color: white] Kimiko Bloom Crimson
Kimiko was heading back to the dens after an unsuccessful hunt when she came across the group. She was still oblivious of the fact that her grandfather had joined Meurtier, and sadly she just missed him. From what Kimiko could see, it looked like something had happened. The cubs looked upset and the temporary Captain confused? She stepped closer just in time to hear her half-brother's name. "What about Lothaire?" She asked. "Did my brother get himself into some sort of trouble?" [/ul] [/blockquote]

CARNAL DONOVAN
|
Carnal said as she thought of the many ways that the overly sensitive mother, Brynneth, may have come to hurt or end herself. Over the death of Icarus, of all things. That male she had hardly known and gotten with, as if it was true love. Carnal knew such things didn't exists and thought it a rubbish idea to kill one's self over someone you hardly knew.. or at all. Oh, Lothaire was missing too? It seemed quite a few were gone. Reno, Najisi, Lothaire, Brynneth. What did these four have in common? Her mother, Najisi, had likely gotten with Reno. There wasn't a single doubt in her mind. If only Carnal could sink her claws into the brutes flesh and then slap sense into her mother. Brynneth was an idiot. Lord only knew what had become of her and Lothaire.. she hardly talked to him. Maybe they had left together? It seemed unlikely, but it was clear they were missing a piece of the puzzle. She watched as Zalui left and turned her attention to Osic. Her brother seemed to have the same, basic ideas going through his mind. At least in regards to their mother and Reno. "I can't agree more with you, brother. Honestly I thought they may have all left the Veldt together, but that doesn't make sense. The only one's with something potentially in common is Reno and Najisi. I hardly know Lothaire and Brynneth.. hmph. Yes, let's see if we can get Funeral.." Carnal said. She knew this news, to her father, would old news as he had sent them out or he would be confused, aggravated perhaps.. maybe even downright pissed off. She turned to Kimiko and shrugged. "Seems like it. No one can find him, Brynneth, Reno or Najisi."[/ul][/blockquote][/div] Table Coding © Warrah Editing - Kahara "I'm Speaking!" | I'm thinking. A large shadow passed over the group as a giant feline lazily descended to land on the edge of the group. Jasper shook himself, displeased after flying into a mess of gnats which had been splatter across his face, due to his previous high velocity. "There are no signs of the group from the south." The way he said group suggested he sensed a game afoot, though he was unlikely to discuss any such opinions in his present company. "Neo is headed north. He is planning to search at least three miles from our borders." He waved his tail to keep anyone away from his back side. "Corvette is a skilled tracker and can scent above and underwater. I suggest his abilities be utilized." His eyes passed over Kimiko, but right now his focus is on Circa. "Is there anything you would like me to do?"
Alfwin looked at the dark brute, ears lying down a bit. Jasper sometimes seemed incredibly serious, which was unlike his usual demeanor. Thus, the young feline moved to walk a bit closer to Circa. "I'm fine, Circa. I can assist to some capacity, I am sure. I am emotionally equipped to deal with the situation, so I would like to watch the proceedings." His gaze turned to Osic and he cocked his head to the side. "Why would Funeral give my mother a secret task? She may be my mother, but I recognize the fact that she is inept. And why Lothaire? From my observations he seems quite lazy. Reno does not seem to approve of Funeral, nor is he an actual member of the pride. So I think that disqualifies him. Nor would one want to draw attention to their former mate, so I doubt Najisi is in his good graces enough to receive such an honor." He shook his head. "With such a number gone, it is unlikely that it is coincidence. There is a vital piece we are missing."
