Caylis [Meurtrier]
The Hallow was sitting upon the overheated cave, she was looking at the ceiling, her blue gaze in glittering diamonds. Why had her blood raced every time she saw the Bloodbeast? Kodiac Kannon was on her mind now, she felt it that way before but was it beyond that? "Hmm..." she murmured to herself. She now had her gaze towards the entrance then to the lava, was he feeling the same towards her? "Only time will tell." she said to herself.

Caylis turned her head over to the Bloodbeast and waved her tail in greeting before turning her head to the lava. "So, I see you've come to think as well. Tell me, how has your day been, Kodie?" she questioned Kodiac. She liked the nickname Kodie, even if he didn't, she still considered the name amusing in her eyes. The Hallow 'ess licked a paw, she had fought off a moose earlier and killed it, she licked the blood off it and licked her lips.

Instead the bloodbeast shot her a smile and dipped his head. "Good day, dear, good day. All in all. Had a nice meal earlier. I should hunt to help add to the stock, hm? Yes. And what of yourself?" Caylis smiled and dipped her head to the Bloodbeast. "Thinking, I guess, some things and someone to understand. Someone's who's quite a charmer." she said, her eyes gleaming with clouded thoughts that she tried to hide.

Caylis nodded, she knew what he was thinking as she smiled. "Yes, Kodiac. Yes, I have. I always did." she purred as she licked a paw nervously, but she boldly looked into his eyes. "You are that sir, Kodiac." (A braveee one xD)

[/i] Said Kodiac as he gazed toward the exit of the Grotto. "I'm aware we've only just begun to talk, but I fancy a hunt. Care to come with me? If not I take no offense." He said. It was like an excuse to get out of the warm Grotto, away from her; but he had to be polite. Play the cards right, Kodiac! He closed his eyes and flashed back, to a time far from Shadow Veldt and Meurtrier. A time where he was young, bold and brave; honest and kind. Innocent. The edges of such a memory faded out, like they were wrong, and had to melt away to make room for the new him. A voice echoed in his mind, but the crimson bloodbeast pushed it out. Claws grasped the rocky, hot ground and he pushed himself up suddenly. "Yes! A hunt." He exclaimed suddenly, a repeat of his last few words. It was as if he had spaced out into a distant memory and came back suddenly, jolted back.[/ul][/blockquote] |

Caylis raised an eyebrow and shrugged. "Might as well." she had nothing else to do, she didn't want to train since she already knew how to fight. Besides she had to admit, she was hungry. "Where we heading to?"

Caylis shrugged. "I want Meurtrier and Jaaku to have a HUGE feast. So, can we perhaps kill any large prey like moose?" She followed after the bloodbeast with flirty eyes, she couldn't help but ask. "Are you a such a magnificent hunter that every prey that sees you faints and surrenders to your gorgeousness?" she laughed, amusement in her eyes.

[/i] He asked, puzzled. Those hadn't been seen around the Veldt before, and even if they were, the two of them combined surely couldn't take one down. Either she was desperate or stupid, or both. "We could have a huge feast even with small critters. Just many small critters. Fawns, does, plump hares. You name it. No need to go after something that could get us injured. That's just.. well, heh, that's reckless, dear." Kodiac said in a matter-of-factly tone. It was the truth, after all. No use putting them in danger for a meal when they could get more meals to equal the same thing.. sure, more work, but less dangerous. As far as the bloodbeast was concerned, his option seemed better. At her next words he chuckled and shook his head. "Quite the charmer yourself then, aren't you? Oh if only prey did such a thing. I am quite stunning though, no?" Kodiac said with a grin. It felt as if everything was falling into place.[/ul][/blockquote] |

The female nodded at his option. "You are right about that... sorry I wasn't thinking straight. Was just staring at your eyes, they hypnotize me." she blushed slightly at Kodiac's last sentence. "Thanks, I guess? Indeed you are, sir Kodiac. One of the most attractive males I've seen, honestly. Especially with those eyes of yours." she said, her ears pricked for the sounds of prey or movement except their own pawsteps.

"Yes, that's good." she purred as she had those flirty eyes on her face as she snapped out of it to hunt. She remembered the advice that Corvette the land shark gave her, might as well use it. She started to stalk a hare nearby as she stealthily crept her way towards it, not making a sound. Then she pounced on it, taking a swift bite to it's throat as she put it down by a nearby bush for later, they could put all their catches there to feed the pride. She just hoped nobody would snatch it, but she doubted it. She looked towards her companion and smiled, pricking her ears for any signs of prey, admiring his appearence. Caylis, focus! she thought to herself as she tried to concentrate on hunting.
