LAD TheWG drifter Reeku OnyxOryx Reylan's ImpEveryone is travelling together, nearly at the palace with the family. Neo wandered off in the early morning, promising to be back with 24 hours. This is set about twenty minutes before the quake reaches them. Neon jolted awake in the clearing his brothers and family had been sleeping it. He'd had a cold chill as he waited on his father to return. Neo made travel easy, hunting for everyone if they did not feel up to it and otherwise protecting others simply by using his intimidating presence. He stood and looked around as a large shadow began to manifest before him. It took the form of his father and he grew incredibly confused. "Dad?" Neo dipped his head. "Everyone gather before me," his spectre thundered, loud enough to cause the hellion mix to wince. He looked around roared to further get everyone's attention. Neo had the benefit of a very deep, empathetic connection with his brother that transcended all distances. The quake had hit the Shadow Veldt and wreaked havoc, spawning volcanic activity. But he had the benefit here to bring his family to a place beyond Novis, a land he and his brother had created eons ago, between worlds and dimensions, everywhere and no where simultaneously. Thus, unaffected by the events of Novis, or any other land. The Arena.

Nether was still loosely with the family, but didn't exactly plan on staying to see Veton... At the moment, though, he remained with the travelling group. He had been laying on a rock, fiddling with some of his tools when Neo called them all to him.
He got an eerie feeling about this family meeting, whatever it was going to be about... But the air was a bit off too. Was something going on? Nether decided asking questions could wait until later, and he simply padded up to his grandfather obediently. "What's going on, Neo?"
Criss, on the other hand, was a very confused little girl most of the time. First daddy was around, and then he wasn't. Then mommy was around, and then she wasn't. She didn't remember quite as well about the day she'd been taken away from her, but she remembered being very confused and afraid as to why she had ended up in a pouch- and then later somewhere else, with neither her mother nor her father. The world was confusing and scary...
Although Neo and the others did care for her, she still remained apprehensive at best. His roaring had jolted her awake from a nap and puffed her fur up like static, having her looking around with wide eyes to see what was going on. Were they in trouble?

Guhl had been pleasantly sleeping in between his two brothers despite his snoring it was safe to say his brothers were probably used to him by now. The loud sound had him jolting awake though stumbling back onto his stomach as he'd been dozing on his back. Blinking at Neon in confusion. They'd had a seemingly easy life since they'd followed there father here. They hadn't needed to worry about rouge lions or when there next meal was going to come like they had on there own. It was nice Guhl would be immensely thankful that Neo had found him and his brothers together.
As soon he had woken up enough to realize his father had beckoned them he stood up onto his paws and looked up at the looming shadow of there father in curiosity.
Miri was at the edge of this little gathering of so called relatives she didn't know. Only letting her brothers and sisters she knew close to her and turning a shy cold shoulder to anyone who tried to interact with her. She was confused but she mostly felt lost. Without Kimiko here to guide her she felt at a loose not knowing what to do. Having been under her mother's rule for so long had its effects as it wore a tired expression on the females face.
At Neo's call she turned her head round slowly and walked a little closer to hear, but other than that she'd still keep her distance.

Soren, Ashton
Ashton had been keeping an eye out for the lot of them. It was odd, having suddenly three others that were Neo's sons surrounding them. He'd not care for that - family was family. He did care for Miri and Kalea however, and he always had an eye out for them, shifting to be near them, making sure he was available to both of them. He'd taken to his sisters like he hadn't before ever since snapping the way he had - but he'd certainly calmed down since then. He was more or less back to his quiet self, but it was something different and even... Difficult to fall back into he found. He found that even though habits were hard to kill, he was still far more vocal than ever - always making sure to greet his sisters in the morning and wish them a goodnight. Making sure that they were taking care of themselves. It was new to him - but he didn't want them to hurt.
Soren had been hard pressed to get used to having so many others around and not having to hide from them. It was odd - but they were family. So in a way, he shrugged it off. He could feel his father approaching however and turned nearly immediately to the source, watching as his father formed before his very gaze and was instantly moving to him. He couldn't help but wince at the roar - did his father not realize how loud he could be sometimes? But he remained quiet none the less and waited patiently.
Ashton's eyes had been attracted to Neo forming as well when the brothers moved and when Neo called to them, he stood, waiting for Miri and Kalea to move first before taking his position beside the two of them.

VASIL (BASILEIOS) CRIMSON-LAMIAT
Resting besides his dear sister Criss, Vasil was startled too and in mere seconds he sprang up on his feet. The tiny brown cub grumbled and growled before he sat down, both of his eyes shadowy gazed at all the wider relatives.
The cub likely won't budge or cooperate, either because neither his mother or father are present, or maybe its just because his head was hurting since his horns already started to grow at such a young age?

The pale creature stayed close to his equally pale brother. The two had long since discussed the thoughts of leaving before their group reached Veton. Perhaps it was their dignity they did not want to damage by taking refuge from a male they had tried to attack on behalf of their sister. Whatever the case, they had lived on their own before and they could do it again.
Lyle rested with closed eyes but his ears and tail moved about to suggest he was indeed awake. His eyes snapped open and a line of white fur stood on end from the base of his tail and races up to the nape of his neck. His grandfather's roar made his ears fall to his skull. But he rose nevertheless and approached the black giant.
Kalea stayed close to her siblings, all of them. She watched over the younger brothers and sisters, providing for them anything they needed. She made sure to spend time with Miri as well. Part of Kal knew that out of her own litter, Miri was probably the one to take losing their mother the hardest. She wanted her sister to know she made the right choice. Kal also didn't at all mind the doting that Ashton gave them. If it made him feel better then she would say nothing against it, only returning the care that he gave them.
She had been laying beside Criss and Vasil, shielding them with a wing. When their great-grandfather called for all to gather it was firstly startling. The shock was quick to settle and she rose to see what was going on. She also lowered her head and nudged both her younger brother and sister into moving toward their great-grandfather.

Neo dipped his head as everyone gathered before him, glad that there was no resistance. Wings curved upwards as he stood still, before settling down and the feathers flattened. Despite being a spectre, a shadow of his real self, most every detail was accurate, down to the last piece of fur. But he was translucent... Except for a few toes. There were some wounds on him, but it was not terribly noticeable given that the color of blood matched his fur and there was no smell to go along with it. "Disaster looms on the horizon. In minutes, a quake will arrive to this place and tear apart this land." He lifted the paw that had his actual toes in it and unsheathed his claws. He slashed through the air and pulled through reality, creating a glowing tear. It soon formed glowing portal which showed a watery image of an ancient colosseum. It looked like it was in a lush area, with classic Roman architecture. "I'm taking you to the place I would be most comfortable calling home. It is safe and no harm can come to you there. I created it along side Jasper."
Neon was a bit surpassed by the display of magic. He looked at the portal, not quite sure what it was, staying at the watery image for a few moments as his father talked. Her eventually put together the purpose of the floating image. "We're going there?" He'd never seen anything like it before, both what was in the picture and the magic itself.

Gonna either bump this or move on to where they go to Vet's palace after being in the Arena, relaxing for a day.
