* I'm going to be honest, since I've been playing Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn recently.. I ended up turning a few of the classes into rank names. *
Sovereign(s)
The gender is inconsequential. Usually, there is only one sovereign, but there are cases of joint leadership.
Heir Apparent
The Sovereign will select one, or two, creature(s) that have shown exceptional mental and physical skills. Is not always a blood-relative to the sovereign. S/he often serve as Second In Commands/Officers before being chosen.
Officers
There are a maximum of three at any given time. They serve as advisors and lieutenants, holding authority second only to the sovereign. Should the sovereign be away for any reason, or suffer an untimely death without naming an heir, they take charge for a time. Generally, each take over their own corps.
Thaumaturge(s)
Those that are especially adept at magic, wether it be illusionary or destructive. During times of war, they mobilize behind the warriors of the pride. They are also in charge of finding food for the pride as well as patrolling the territory borders. Unlimited
Pugilist(s) ( pyoo-juh-list )
Those that are more adept at physical attacks rather than magical. Often the front-line of defense during times of war. They are also in charge of finding food for the pride as well as patrolling the territory borders. Unlimited
Warden(s)
The jailers of the pride, meant to guard the prisoners from escaping as well as unneeded antagonism. If it is ordered, they will torture a prisoner for answers. It is their job to make sure their prisoners stay alive, unless the sovereign has ordered otherwise. Unlimited.
Emissary
They are in charge of carrying messages to and from other prides that Aetheros may know. Generally, they are sent to friendlies, but at times they may be sent to enemies for a cease fire and/or negotiations. Unlimited
Sleuth(s)
These are the spies of the pride, infiltrating enemy prides during times of war. While at peace, they are in charge of gathering food and patrolling the area as well. Unlimited.
Shaman(s)
Those adept in restorative magic, as well as traditional healing means. They are in charge of teaching the medics. Unlimited.
Medic(s)
Often times they are adolescents looking to become a shaman or young adults that have not completely decided what role they want. They assist in the treatment of pride members. Unlimited.
Youth
Adolescents and cubs.
Resigned
The elderly of the pride.
Prisoner(s)
Usually captives from war, but may be held because of trespassing or suspicious behavior around the territory.
The Departed
The deceased of the pride.
