Kimiko spent her early life with her mother and father, along with her half-brother Lothaire. She enjoyed to pick on Lothaire and cause a little drama. Stirring up trouble is something she'll probably never grow bored of.
Kimiko came to Shadow Veldt to deliver a message to Lothaire from Hajime, but she couldn't find him as he was hiding and secretively planning an escape from Shadow Veldt with Najisi, Reno and Co. Kimiko enjoyed her stay in Shadow Veldt and was hapilly suprised when she discovered that her grandfather and grand-uncle lived there.
Kimiko headed out of the Veldt to search for Lothaire after hearing about his escape with a few other ex-meurtrians, but without luck. She met Project during her search for Lothaire and their time together resulted in Kimiko's first litter. Her previously split-loyalthy between Meurtrier and Lothaire's side of the family changed when she had her precious cubs and she decided to stay loyal to Meurtrier because it would be safer for her cubs in the Veldt and most of her Crimson family resides there. She is happy in the Veldt, despite some she can't stand the sight of.
She was aware of Hajime's little mission in the Veldt, but kept her cousin's secret safe. Kimiko took a break from Meutrier, the war and the Veldt to grieve when Hajime was taken away from her.
The Crimson 'ess returned to Shadow Veldt some weeks later and quickly settled back down.
A while after, the current King of Meurtrier, Funeral Donovan, died and Cocaine Caliver was chosen as the new head of Shadow Veldt. Kimiko saw the shift of power to be an opportunity and declared herself and Project Caliver, Cocaine's son, to be mates as soon as the news reached her attention.
A new litter of with a grand total of seven cubs resulted from the Crimson-Caliver union and Kimiko couldn't be any happier. However, not long after the birth, Project left to pursue his own businesses and Kimiko was left behind oblivious of why he had taken off. Kalea, Kimiko's daughter stayed by her mother's side and helped her while Project was out of the Shadow Veldt.
The war between La Morte and Meutrier Pride ended and Project returned with Zalui. Kimiko was dissapointed at Project's absence during the earliest stage of their second litter's life and attempted to confront him about it but was interrupted by his sister.
The slowly developing split between Kimiko and her mate grew even more when Koma, one of their eldest son, attacked Connor, which resultet in the Donovan's death. Kimiko appeared at the scene after the evil deed was done, only to find him surrounded by several Meutrier members. Koma was almost sentenced to death, but saved by Project.
Her stay in the Veldt came to an end when two new kings of Donovan blood ascended to the throne, much to Kimiko's suprise as she had hoped Project would be granted a higher title. The thought of loosing her title was too much for her to bear and so she decided to leave Shadow Veldt. Only a few of her family members supported this and many stayed behind.
She left the Veldt not long after and started her own pride, Edel. All members, except Kenji, moved to the forest where a temporary camp was set up.
One day, Kimiko stumbled upon Yui Donovan in the woods while she was hunting for her pride and, fuiled with hate for the Donovan family, she attacked the innocent Yui. Mok Donovan, also from Meurtrier, later met Kimiko with a much more fatal outcome.
