This is merely a suggestion and not a rule. It will not be enforced site-wide. It is up to the parent players to decide if this is something they would like to do.
- Not all cubs survive a litter. This may make making characters for couples and having cubs a more serious matter.
- Until the cub has been actively played for a month since birth, the cub is at risk of death. The player has absolutely no say over whether the cub lives, or dies.
- If the mother is inactive during the month, the cubs may be at risk unless another female able to care for them steps in.
- One the cub is a month old, the player then may become attached. You're in the safe zone, huzzah!
And that's it for cub mortality. You can base whether or not the cub/s live based on the natural threats found in the land or the current weather.
Again this is not mandatory.
