/So Alice and I wanted to roleplay and this seemed the only suitable place. Teival is Yasha's son, he's around just getting an understanding of things, he has siblings here and anyone else can join in. La Morte. It was a new name on his tongue, one he was getting use to only because of the family, personally, he didn't give two fireflies about pride issues. But because of his mother, he was willing to be civil and understanding, he also just missed a lot of the members from the Asylum. Today he had left Izybel with their mother and had taken it upon himself, as an adult, to introduce himself.
It was a weird feeling walking onto territory he knew was filled with members that could rip him limb from limb. The thought made him tense, and against his will, all instincts Teival found himself walking with that confidence and evil gleam in his eye that dared anyone to test him. Hopefully they were the types to ask questions before killing.
He figured Yasha probably passed on the news, he hoped anyway, or if he was lucky maybe his siblings were kicking around. Even Najisi maybe, though, he personally would like to see her last if not ever on his visit today, he really wasn't ready for the half sibling reunion, Kardei was enough.
Ears back he slowed himself at a distance leaving himself at the border, he really didn't want to walk any further just in case. Picking a soft patch of grass Teival laid down, lashing his tail around for a moment before he grunted out loudly letting anyone know he was around.

Victor had been on the edges of the territory, looking for more and more herbs. With so many injured, his stocks were low. Not to mention he needed things to help rid him of the incredible ache in his mouth, due to his missing tongue. He needed things to numb it better. Perhaps losing sensation in his entire body was the best way to go about it so it would not wear off so fast the next time. He did not like to constantly reapply things.
As he was digging, little satchel about his neck, he heard another and perked long, black ears. It did not take him long to locate the other male, who was quite dark, but not nearly so freakish in appearance. Victor had a figure that was hard to forget with the number of scars and stocky, tall build. He shook his dark, teal mane from his eyes and walked over, not really able to announce himself without sounding aggressive. He tilted his head at the male. This one looked familiar, but he was having trouble placing him. The male was not of Meurtrier, though. Instead, he smelled of the marshes of the Asylum.
Seeing as he was a healer, Victor did not feel the need to be aggressive in any way. He simply tilted his head at the other and stared, frame relaxed as well as his gaze.

It was dead around the area, Teival laid and pondered on why it was like that, only to remember there had been a fight between La Morte and Meurtrier, maybe he had picked a bad time to come around. Not only would they be in a healing state, but probably more hostile, shifting to sit up the young male looked around a bit more. In a moment he only found one being out and about. Well it was probably to late now to dart for it, he was seen, all it would take would be one call.
Teival eyed the distant male carefully, taking note of the scars and his build, it was impressive, one the mutt wouldn't want to tangle with. It was clear they were staring at each other, it was irritated, nothing worse then being stared down. Ears twitching Teival frowned, wondering if this guy was going to make the first move. With a shift look around he decided to be the pawn and move first, with a huff he stood, walking over he would stop a good distance away.
"Don't call the brigade," was his first defensive statement, his tone was calm, a bit joking since he wasn't looking for trouble. "I uh, I'm Yasha's kid, was just coming to introduce myself."

Victor snorted a bit and shook his head at the other male. He shrugged broad shoulders, trying to make it obvious that he had absolutely no intention of turning things aggressive. He then waved a paw, trying to show that it was okay. He looked over his shoulder, to make sure no one was approaching. A rabbit flitted by, and he perked his ears again before making a sort of grumbling growl. He was hungry. He felt lucky that he could still make noises, though they sounded very distorted. His tail flicked and the ice on its tip shifted from frozen strands of hair to a sort of blade, slicing the grass. Usually he would have gone after it, but this male was still a stranger to him. While the healer was not territorial of aggressive, he was not terribly trusting.
There was a slight issue, though... He jerked his head over to the bushes. That was where the hare had gone. He wanted to get it.

Jericho
Jericho had gone for a walk. He knew everyone put him at fault for what had happened - for the cubs leaving and the danger they were put in, for Asera's death, for Hajime's death, and if they didn't - he put it on himself. So he figured he needed a breath of fresh air. Yasha, Kardei, and Yasbi were all in one of the dens they'd decided to share with him and Atryn, because Jericho didn't trust Tanzel, Omen, or Darrium. He had killed their granddaughter and was sure they were pleased with him at all for the trouble he brought with him.
He watched a hare dart in front of him - and promptly pounced on it, killing it with a swift bite to the spinal cord - before he saw just who was on the other side of the bush the hare came from. Victor and... And who was that? Jericho narrowed his golden eyes, dropping the hare at Victor's side as he moved a few steps closer, ears flicking back and forth. He had missed the shared words from the male, but he saw Victor was relaxed. His eyes darted back and forth between the two for a long moment before he turned to the male. "Victor can't speak." He said simply, the memory kicked in and his ears stood erect atop his head. "... Teival?" His voice had risen an octave as his eyes widened. Was this really Teival? [/blockquote]

Standing there, observing and listening to the male Teival tried to make sense of the movements. Quirking a brow, Teival found himself rather baffled, was this some sort of new game? A secret code to get into the territory, well, he didn't come to play but he never did turn down a good game. Taking a step back mentally he focused on body language, which this teal haired male seemed pretty good at.
He was quick to notice the shake of head, and shout for back up, there was also no sign of him being hostile which was defiantly comforting. Before Teival could speak and introduce himself he let their attentions go to the rabbit that skittered away before either could make a move. A low rumble of hunger broke the silence and Teival could only grin crookedly at the sound. "Hungry huh," he started only to watch as the male's tail switched in form to slice through the grass. "Whoa, where can I get one?"
A tail like that would be handy, maybe one that came with flames, his mind wondered ever so slightly to picturing such a thing on his own tassel. It last all but a minute when the rustle of moment caught his attention, snapping back to reality he looked over at the pale pelted being who had just claimed the rabbit. His grin grew in size at the sight of a long lost sibling, it was defiantly a face he had wanted to see on this trip.
"Victor is it?" Teival turned a quick gaze to the older male and nodded. "I'm Teival, seeing as my brother is kind enough to introduce me. Now if you could excuse me for just a moment."
Polite, Teival had a weird personality and he would be the first next to his sister to say so. His voice hadn't faltered from being casual, and un-phased as if seeing his twin brother was no big deal. Wasn't until he moved forward at a light trot so he could throw himself over Jericho's back and throw down some much needed bromance. Hopefully his brother was still stunned, if so Teival would plant a rather rough lick up his neck. "Couple years later and I still think I'm the better looking half."

Victor nodded. He had not eaten in a few days. Usually this would be fine, but given his current state, he needed to eat more. And there were few bodies about, and he highly doubted that Najisi would appreciate him ingesting the remains of Asera. He would have to go hunt soon, thus travel a bit outside their territory. He knew it was not a good practice, but he could not help himself. It's not as if he ever left a trace, anyways. He consumed it all in a manner similar to a snake. Few even realized when he ate, as his stomach compressed everything.
Eyes flicked back to his tail and it returned to icy hair follicles. He shrugged his shoulders and lifted his brows. His eyes traveled the other in an appraising manner. Victor thought back to his younger days. Had he been a member then, he would not have given a second thought to the male and would have killed him without a second's hesitation and eaten him. A soft smile appeared, realizing how different he was. He understood why Neo and Jasper were so proud of him now, why he received so much affection any time he was with either father.
His shoulders tensed as Jericho arrived, but seeing as the other was not tense, he relaxed again, pleased this meeting was so calm thus far. He nodded when Jericho stated he could not speak and then opened his mouth to show he lacked a tongue, one that had been removed by force. He dipped his head when Teival introduced himself. Given the rabbit by Jericho, he smiled and bumped his head against the other's shoulder, trying to show his gratitude.
He was surprised when Teival jumped upon Jericho but then he thought back to their words and identical appearance and it made sense. He picked up the rabbit and tossed into the air. He caught it in his mouth and it slid directly back into his throat. No more rabbit.

DARRIUM
[/i] He asked Victor, before realizing his mistake. "Sorry." Darrium added more quietly. The hares and squirrel were at his paws now. He'd head back to the main dens and drop them off there if things were safe here. Behind him came Siakon. She had a huge hawk in her mouth and she moved with a bit of a hop in her step, clearly proud of her catch. Siakon paused as Darrium did and looked back and forth between her grandfather, Victor the healer, the stranger, and Jericho.[/ul][/blockquote]

Jericho
Jericho had nodded at Victor's gratitude - his eyes still upon his brother as Teival began speaking and a chuckle bubbled up in his throat as he braced his muscles for when Teival landed upon his back in a brotherly hug. "You've always thought you were the better looking. Just goes to show how into yourself you are." He responded back, just as calmly.
But then Jericho tensed his eyes having spotted Darrium and Siakon beside him. He stepped back slightly, even with Teival still upon his back, and swallowed hard. "This is Teival." He told them, noting the question directed at Victor but still answering it for obvious reasons. He hesitated to say the next part. Here he was gaining a sibling where they had lost their sister, granddaughter. Another step back. "He's my twin." He told them.
He turned to Teival then, "This is Darrium, and his granddaughter, Siakon." He introduced them to one another, but his expression had glazed over from the slight playful one he'd had one before they appeared. It was blank now. [/blockquote]

Draped over his brother Teival had planned to cause a bit of a rumble, it had been a long time since he had been with his sibling, and next to Izybel, Jericho was his favorite; he supposed it was because of their genes and being a twin and what not. Before he could attempt to gnaw on an ear Victor devoured the rabbit in a single gulp that left Teival gaping like a guppy. Well damn.
Who was this guy? Besides being Victor. It was clear the large male could hold his own, that tail and his marred body would be enough to send anyone packing. Teival, who seemed to not care about all these factors, got a chill up his spine when he stared at the mute for to long. He was creepy but at the same time Teival had a million questions, his inner cub was wide awake."You're something else Victor," he called out with a chuckle, he liked this guy, now they just needed a way to communicate.
He laughed at Jericho's comment, it was true, at times he did think himself as the better looking one. Not that Teival was a cocky, big headed creature, he just liked to make others laugh with his silly comments. Beneath him Jericho started to shift backwards, when the voice cut through the air Teival turned his head to look at the two that had arrived. Well, they weren't as bad looking as Victor, which was a plus, but they did look more serious. Removing himself from his brother's back Teival stood by his side, tall yet not imposing, he wasn't here for trouble.
"Nice to meet you two," Teival answered, polite as always, a dip of his head would show he had respect, only because he was on their land and he was out numbered."Like he said, twin brother, only came to introduce myself since my family is here."
A side ways look at his brother made him wonder what had him acting like that, clearly there was something going on between the three he didn't know. He wasn't sure if he would want to know, yes he was here to introduce himself, not join the pride, he had no interest in pride life. Prides brought on trouble and drama, and hell he had enough of that without the prides, taking care of Izybel and all.

Victor lifted a brow at Darrium as he asked him who it was and rolled his eyes at the apology, body language showing it had not upset him at all. A long black claw unsheathed and into the dirt, he scribed "Can anyone read?" His handwriting was easily legible, but he doubted anyone here would realize what it meant. He caught the way Darrium stared at Jericho and could tell how the other felt quite easily. Being one of the most mutilated beast in the pride, if not the most, battle was no stranger to him, and he was more or less indifferent to it. He wished he had his tongue, still, but nothing could fix that now. No use in blaming anyone. He doubted his foe had even intended it. He remembered the look of disgust on the male's face.
Eyes focused on the situation at hand and stared at the food Darrium had brought. He could have eaten every ounce of it and still been a bit hungry. His eyes flicked back up to Teival as he spoke and offered him a slight smirk. He lifted a paw and flourished it, as if to say, "What did you expect?"

DARRIUM, SIAKON
[/i] She placed the hawk down just to say that, then picked it back up and flicked her tail after them, as if to say goodbye. Siakon wanted to get the hawk back the camp. Darrium watched her go, but he hadn't missed something else- Victor looking at the hares that Darrium had. He placed one on the ground and nudged it toward Victor. "I'll take this one back to camp." He said, then nodded to the others. "Nice meeting you. Give a call if anyone needs help." Darrium said, then headed back for camp after his granddaughter.[/ul][/blockquote]

Jericho
Relief fluttered within him as Darrium nor Siakon fell into irritation from what he'd been thinking of. He nodded to Siakon, offering her a grateful look, and then dipped his head to Darrium as he left. He said no more to anyone until they'd all left and he than sat down, his heart heavy. However, he pushed it to the back of his mind, he would have to explain his actions to someone one day or another, but for now, tensions were high among each other and he figured it best to not speak of what happened while the events were still fresh in each others minds. He was honestly surprised he had not been asked to explain just yet - but then again, everyone had been quite busy lately and lost in their own worlds.
Instead he turned back to Teival and Victor, nudging the rabbit closer to Victor as he did so and then casting a glance over at Teival. "So how did you find us anyway?" He asked, figuring that would be the best way to break the spell that had come over him. To ask why he'd come would have been pointless. It was obvious why Teival had come here and he wasn't going to send his own brother away either. [/blockquote]

Whatever had just happened had happened quickly, he had sensed the tension but hadn't said anything about it. Everyone was free to have their own secrets and he wouldn't pester his brother over it not when they just reunited after being apart for so long.
In the mean time he had noticed Victor drawing on the ground, his curious nature brought him a bit closer to look. His head tilting this way and that way trying to make sense of the squiggly lines. Of course Teival had no idea what it was, but he was pretty sure that the 't's' looked like trees. If trees only had three branches and a skinny trunk, he kept that thought to himself not wanting to sound stupid in front of Jericho and Victor especially since he's the one who drew it.
"Izybel and myself just got back a few days ago, mother filled us in on where everyone was,"he said to his brother plopping his butt down, he looked up at his twin for a second before looking back at the lines in the ground. The claws on one paw dug at the ground, he wanted to try, maybe he could do that, he never had drawn a thing in his life but he was rather curious about it."I'm thinking Izybel would do good being around others, it's been us the last couple of years you know and she... well you know our females."
Deciding he wasn't an artist of any sort he looked up at Jericho with a lopsided grin, he was sure Jericho would understand and hopefully he remembered who Izybel was. Truthfully, he hardly remembered Yasbi and his other older siblings, but he was welcoming of them all, and was ready to catch up and meet them all.

Victor watched the others leave, tilting his head after them before sinking his fangs into the hare and letting it slide down his throat, not needing to chew it. There was some slight convulsion in his neck as his throat constricted around the food and crushed it before it hit the stomach. The urge to lick his lips was there, but there was no way he could do such. He listened to the conversation and tilted his head. It seemed there was much more to this family than he knew. But who was the female that needed to be brought in? And what did Teival mean by "our females"?
