Evangeline Caliver & Severus 'Shika' Sherlock Alkaev
Eva and Sev pranced around the Veldt, taking in the sweet fragrance of the flowers, Eva smirked and whispered. "Hey, Sev? Ya know why I brought you here, right?" Sev simply shook his head. "Nope." Evangeline giggled. "Good! I brought you here to the flowerbeds because we're gonna pick flowers to try and make Meurtrier and Jaaku feel better! But remember, this is a mission! We need more help in order to make this a top secret and make it better. Understand?"
Severus nodded. "Yes, mam!." he said with a smirk before picking flower stems gently not to break them and put them into a little 'basket' that Eva made which Sev put them in gently. Lilies, daisies, roses, daffodils.. all kinds! "Remember, if we see any adult from either Meur or Jaaku, ACT natural!" she giggled, lashing her tail before she picked some of her own and put it in the baskets.
Luckily Severus told the family that he would be back very soon, and that he wouldn't go too far. Eva was hopefully old enough to walk about the Veldt.

Romulus Alkaev
The young liger walked the veldt bored and lost in his own mind. Remus was still in lock down, and that put Romulus and the rest of his siblings in roughly the same position, but they still had some freedom. All smart enough; however, made sure not to wander too far from home and otherwise face the wrath of their Mother and risk permanent lock down with Remus. The weak were being picked off in a painfully slow way...speaking of. Romulus came across his brother and a female he had never met before prancing around flowerbeds, nothing made him want to gag more. The golden liger considered turning tail before getting sucked into their nonsense, but he really had nothing better to do. "Hello." He said as he approached them, now only a few feet away. Romulus dipped his head to the young lady, yet older than him, and introduced himself, "My name is Romulus, and you are?" One thing his mother made sure to teach himself and his littermates were manners, whether the rest of his littermates used them he didn't know and didn't really care. After waiting a moment for a response Romulus tilted his head he asked both of them, "What are you doing with those flowers exactly?" He did not understand why anyone would pick flowers, that killed them right? They would just whither, turn a distasteful color and die wouldn't they? Flowers looked pretty right where they were to Romulus, and in leaving them be they would continue to look pretty.

Shika nodded before flicking his tail for Eva to speak, which she did. "We're picking flowers for Meurtrier and Jaaku, to those who are suffering or lonely. After all, wars can be a pain but that doesn't mean we can't be stronger by not only strength but love too." she said, smiling. "My name is Evangeline. Evangeline Caliver. You must be Romulus, Severus's brother. Nice to meet you!" she said, smiling.

Romulus confirmed Evangeline's question, "Yes we are brothers." He stood there for a moment, mulling over what she had just tried to explained to him. He didn't understand how some flowers would mend the pain and help the prides in their time of war, unless they had healing properties, which he doubted. Romulus shook his head, "I don't see how those will help anyone. I believe if you really want to help our prides, train yourself. Then when it is our time we will be ready to fight for our prides, instead of.. Prancing around with flowers in our manes." He gave a disgruntled look, love? Romulus knew little of its meaning or what it felt like, he supposed it was what he received from his mother when she didn't want to bite his head off. The thought of receiving that from someone else made him cringe and wrinkle his nose, ew. |

Sev's ear twitched before sighing. "I would train but I don't believe I'm ready yet. Besides, I just need to spend a little more time of youth. Maybe I could ask father if we could train. We'll see."
Eva chuckled. "You'll understand someday, I guess." Boys will be boys. she thought, shrugging. "I meant for ones who're suffering, if not at least a bit. Plus I'm going to gather herbs in case anything happens. Hmm.. maybe I'll ask my father that, my father is Cocaine Caliver, the Commander of Meurtrier. I'm guessing that you must be Raegan and Adelaide's children." she said before bowing to the both of them.
Severus didn't know how to respond to Evangeline's bow, he looked to Rom at the side with an awkward look.

Romulus looked to the side, not very impressed. "I suppose." Bright emeralds snapped to Severus, "I wouldn't mind sparring with you sometime, but enjoy your flowers or now." He rolled his shoulders and responded to the young lady simply, "I see." Romulus was again bored and his expression made it obvious. "Yeah we are-" Slight surprise struck his expression when Evangeline bowed to him, but it quickly turned to satisfaction. He embraced the feeling it was amazing, she lowered herself to /him/, despite her being older. That struck something inside Romulus, slowly he was figuring himself out. Why did he think what he did? Feel what he did? Unknown to himself, it was the first step to an internal craving. Romulus looked down on her, and just stared at her until she rose again. He wouldn't offer her the same satisfaction, assuming she would receive it, only his politeness. So he offered her a small nod in return. "Cocaine hm? I am not very familiar with our allied pride yet." |

Evangeline tilted her head and purred, nuzzling Nerry. "Brother! That's Romulus and Severus Alkaev, Raegan and Adelaide's sons. Well.. some of them. Promise this'll be a secret? I'm picking flowers for those who are suffering from deaths and stuff. When you see an adult, act natural, ya know what I mean?" she said, smiling.
Severus looked to Rom. "Hmm. You think we could spar now.. away from the flowerbeds so we don't ruin anything? Hopefully mother or father won't get angry.." he said, smirking before stepping away from the flowerbeds.

Steps came to an abrupt halt as sea foam green's landed on two brothers with two strangers. Head tilted as she examined the four, ears perking. Flowers? Rom and Shiki were picking flowers? It was such an odd thought that the cub didn't know whether to laugh for be freaked out.
Either way, she made a quiet approach. She wanted to surprise Romulus. Lynn loved all her siblings, even the scary one, but Romulus' disposition was very similar to Raegan and Lynn reeaally loved daddy. She prowled closer and closer until her excitement got the better of her and she sprinted the last stretch. "Rommy!!" She went to jump on him but her timing was just plain awful. Instead she landed right behind him.

The young liger gave Nerry a small nod as he was introduced to him by Evangeline, "Hey." His tail swayed back and forth as he listened to Eva further explain what she was doing, he still didn't get how it would help. When Severus perked up with his suggestion of a spar a ways from the flowerbeds Romulus turned his head to look at him, "Well, I-" He tried to say, but was cut off by a sudden high pitched and familiar voice. Romulus flinched and spoke under his breath, "Don't call me Rommy..." He craned his neck around to see Adalynn flopped on the ground behind him. She was close enough that he was able to flick his tail playfully on her nose. "Close." Romulus never finished his earlier statement, but It didn't matter, Adalynn had good timing. He was going to decline the offer anyway, he did say 'sometime' didn't he? Better to wait for the fire to die to a calm, contained flame first. He whipped around to face her, "What's up, Lynn?" He said tilting his head slightly. Romulus hoped she could tear him away from the flower nonsense with something more interesting. She wouldn't buy into it, would she? |

Pff. Lynn would call her brother whatever she well pleased! She giggled and took a swat at Romulus' tail. "I was just out and about. Saw you guys so thought I'd join." Her head craned around her larger sibling as she looked at the other three. "Whatcha pickin' flowers for?" Head tilting slightly. She looked back up at Rommie. "Never would have thought you'd be playing in flowers!"Another giggling.
