ODYSSEIA
[/i] Odysseia figured Osic didn't need to be all boxed up anymore. With more than enough eyes around, he'd be well watched. She turned away, dismissing Circa, and headed to Funeral where she curled up at his side.[/ul][/blockquote]

Circa
The 'ess gave a curt nod, immediately turning to tell Osic the news. Surely he would be happy, to at least hear that little form of good news. He would be free, but always in her watchful gaze; they couldn't have given her an easier mission. Now she had a defined excuse to have him by her side, she was okay with this, even if only for the month, damn she would enjoy it. But another thought crept into her mind.
Couldn't you both just leave?
She halted, looking troubled for a moment. No. No, she couldn't. She was Captain. She couldn't go... Could she? The topic had never even been brought up in her mind, honestly. She always thought he would be free in Meurtrier again someday... Feeling another sick feeling rising in her throat, she picked back up the pace to arrive at the brothers' sides. She nodded to the both of them, "Devyn, Osic..." She said softly as her gaze landed on Osic, a little gentler considering the situation. "You're free from confinement now, they said, so long as I keep an eye on you."
Ha, the irony. Though she guessed Osic wasn't in as much of a laughing mood- neither was she. If anything, she was eager to get him alone and discuss what had just been laid on the table. There was no possible way he was simply okay with what Cocaine had decided.

Osic Donovan
A smirk creased the corners. "Don't know what you're talking about." He teased back. IF Devyn did tell anyone his suspicions he had no proof. Osic didn't outwardly confirm anything. So he was content enough with that. "Ah, that's alright. No need to apologize." Purples traveled upward as Devyn continued on. Under what circumstances indeed.. But his gaze quickly fell upon Circa as she made her presence known. Though his smile for her was brief, his eyes remained soft. His attention on her heightened as she spoke of not having to return to that underground hell hole. But amusement quickly replaced his excitement. "Let's hope you can handle me." He muttered with a smirk. Badly did he want her next to him but refrained with so many still lingering around. There would time for the two of them later. Especially now that he wasn't locked up.

such a late reply but eh x.x Devyn
Devy chuckled and nudged his brother before pulling back a bit. He opened his maw to speak but it was interupted by Circa herself. He eyed their interaction after giving her a nod of greeting. And then stood, stretching his limbs. "Uh-huh. No idea what I'm talkin' bout, eh bro?" He gave a wicked grin in Osic's direction before shaking his head in amusement. Then expression sobered. He began again, his voice incredibly soft so as to not be overheard. "What happened up there, Circa?" He was genuinely curious - and didn't want to wait for the whole team to be recovered before they all had the chance to speak of it again.

Circa
She smiled softly, thankful for his humor at the moment. "Oh, I'm tougher than you think." She mused. Needless to say, she wasn't disappointed that he could still keep that, even with the bad news on hand. Humor, that's what she loved, her own was what kept her from going mad so far. It was a warming thought, but her face quickly regained it's seriousness as his brother spoke up, asking about the happenings on the throne.
She sighed, and leaned in a bit; her voice lowering about as much as his did. All the other higher-ups were gone, so she didn't worry about them, she simply didn't want to be crowded with extra questions and explanations.
"You probably realized that Cocaine came back in a terrible mood, empty handed... La Morte threatened to kill Atryn midst the battle, so he ceased fighting. Instead... He made a deal with them, a trade." Her blues passed to Osic, looking almost apologetic. She need not say more about the deal, she was very sure they had already heard the news, and wasn't about to go into anymore detail about it at the moment. "I protested, and so did some others... But Cocaine was in no mood for debate, at least not now. Funeral hardly got a word in, if any at all... I guess we'll see once everyone had settled."
After a few moments, looking at Devyn for a reaction, she looked back to Osic, raising up from her leaning stance. "Since I have you in my watch tonight; whenever you're ready to go, tell me." No doubt, she meant sleep. After being sick for a good quarter of the day, then the big downward spiral of stress that just happened, to the worrisome thoughts that were now in her head... It was tiring. Moreover, she wanted to speak with him alone about this deal of Cocaine's. He had to be more worried than he was actually putting off, that was unquestionable, but perhaps they could figure something out. Hopefully...
