ZEPHYR DONOVAN-IDEN Zephyr shifted uncomfortably, not from his nephew climbing onto his back and using his resting and aching body as a playground, but the fact that he had thoughts on his mind. Mother, Nerante, Nike.. he shook his head out of those thoughts and tried to remain clear. He nodded back to his father in greeting, and Caine seemed distant. Talking with Uncle Grenade on things.. things that made him serious. And it was true - the only time he'd really yelled out was when they sentenced Stella to exile.
Zephyr wasn't happy though. It felt like nothing had been done. But Zephyr wasn't one to go on a vigilante style rampage. He was too tired, too weary, feeling forgotten by his family as they suffered through their emotions. He just watched the two adults converse through.

Grenade Donovan, Marius Iden-Donovan, Zenith KainIt would seem the clock was ticking down on brother and sister meeting, something of bitter irony. He hadn't turned his back on Apa; he was only guilty of watching their prides fall to pieces. He held no real hate for Meurtrier and when he came back, found it all had been so unjustified from the start. Perception, truth only in his eyes, and he knew well of it; he did and always had wondered what had happened to her, his most beloved of family, but he had a burning feeling in that pit of thought that any meeting between them would be bitter.
A damned shame, but they had chosen their paths, wherever they lead.
"In my line of work, the less you say, the better. These days especially, it's of value." He smirked, looking over to Caine. Words were but obstacles and he had to be mindful of them or risk tripping somewhere. Even in earnest social situations, habit had a hard time dying.
Marius and Zenith having decided to take a break had plopped down, resting their aching muscles. Syn had come over to sit by the boy and he looked to her. "Hey you." Flashing a smile, and Zenith chirped a greeting as well. "How are you?"
