Estevan didn't dignify Iarri's response with a laugh, but with a small harrumph that counted as amusement. "Don't get used to it, I'm only here because I adore.. He shoulder bumped with Kazbek as he greeted him. ".. my siblings!" He nodded to his brother, who seemed even more chipper up close. The effect was contagious too, as Estevan found himself grinning more than he'd ever felt himself in his entire life. "Good to see you too, Brother," He mused, the three siblings together for a long time in ages. It was a funny scene, but one that he'd missed for ages. "Couldn't miss a very important event."[/color]

Having waited patiently, he was pleasantly surprised when Kazbek came out and said Carnal wanted him to go in first. Nodding back to his sister's mate, he slipped inside and glanced down at his sister's tired state. Making care, he laid down next to her before saying anything, nuzzling Carnal gently and then peeked over at the cubs. Four little ones. A purr erupted in his maw. "They're gorgeous, sis." He looked back up at her, "How are you feeling?"

[/i] Carnal said, shocked that any mother could possibly endure that, and then she realized why losing Damien must have hurt Ryssor so much.. after all of that pain and suffering.. yikes. She wrapped her tail protectively close to her young.[/ul][/blockquote]

A small chuckle escaped him and he licked the top of his sister's head. "I can't imagine. But I'm you did great, clearly. And you'll make a great mother. Kazbek will help too. He's okay, but he clearly cares for you.... Although one paw outta line, you know me and dad will put him in his place." Winking at Carnal at the last bit, he leant down and sniffed at them for a moment, knowing the history of these cubs made him curious about them. Eyes flicked back up to Carnal. "Have you thought of names for them?" He lifted a paw to gently stroke the cubs but paused, paw dangling in the air and glanced at Carnal for permission.

[/i] She giggled at her joke and rolled her eyes with a sigh. "Okay, in all seriousness, he will be a great dad.. and brother. Huh. Funny when you say it out-loud." Carnal closed her eyes slowly, trying to make sense of that one.[/ul][/blockquote]

Devyn grinned broadly, and very, very carefully laid his paw down upon their backs, stroking the fluff balls with such care and softness he hadn't even know had been in him. From the broad grin he wore, it softened considerably, as if touching the little wonders had touched his heart and he gently stroked them once more before pulling his paw away and tucking it under him. He didn't miss Carnal's words however and snorted gently at the joke she pulled, looking back up at her. "It is kinda odd to hear, but I'm sure you'll both do great." He told her calmly and then he nodded once. "And I can understand that - though I definitely want to be the second to know... Or third or fourth if Kodiac or Vitali should find out before me." He chuckled at the last part. Then looked at Carnal seriously. "I'm proud of you sis and ain't no one gonna ever harm you or these precious little ones." His gaze flicked back to them at that last part, another small smile crossing his features before he figured he probably took enough of Carnal's time - the others probably wanted to greet these precious things too. Giving Carnal a tender lick over her ear, he leaned down and gently nuzzled the bundles - barely touching them as he breathed over their bodies, taking in their scent as well. "Who do you wanna see next?"

Devyn nodded to his sisters answer and reached over and licked her over the ear once more. "Alright then, Kodiac it is." He pushed his forehead against her own for a moment, nuzzling Carnal dearly. ]b]"Just shout if you need me to come drag him out."

[/b] He grinned, winking at his sister teasingly before stepping back. "Love ya, sis." He called once more, and then walked outside of the den. His eyes spotted the three Kannons' and Kodiac outside talking and he looked them over before meeting Kodiac's gaze. "Your turn." He commented, but in his gaze was a warning to not upset his sister. Moving past the three of them he looked at Kazbek. "Quite a handful you've got coming your way." He teased lightly.[/blockquote][/font]

Now sitting beside his brother, his claws clicked as he now watched Devyn come out- and his father go in. He caught her brother's gaze to his father, and seconded that motion. Not that he didn't trust his father- upsetting or stressing Carnal out was a bad idea, even after her pregnancy, and he would be the first to nip that shit in the bud next to Devyn. As the male came close to him, he drew his attention off the den entrance, nodding and grinning good-heartedly at his tease. "Indeed I do, but it's nothing I didn't ask for."

He had signed up for this- he knew the consequences when he became mates with Carnal, the troubles they might face... But he wanted that. He wanted whatever kept him by his mate's side, and if he didn't want this- well, he wouldn't have became mates with her. It was on his shoulders, and he was perfectly alright with that, to him; that's what love was. Through thick and thin. He was more than confident he could handle the trials that may come to their little family.

[/i] He sat down and patiently waited to see who would get up and go into the den next, while Carnal waited inside, making sure her children were each getting a chance to feed and were all warm. The cold couldn't be good for them. She'd serve as a big blanket.[/ul][/blockquote]
