Fighting Tactics [Open]

The Second had been taking good care of the pride, and he had discussed with Zeitgeist to make a training session for the pride and it's allies. Zeit had agreed, Jasper made his way calmly throughout the outcrop before roaring for his pride to gather around him. He stood, his chest puffed out with pride before awaiting anyone to approach him. When one would come, he would nod deeply in respect to them.

"You all may be wondering why I have called you here. I am aware of many curious faces among the crowd. I have discussed with m'lord Zeitgeist that we are to start a training session between pride members and allies alike," he said, pausing for a moment before speaking up again. "Fighting in a true battle does not only improve your strength, but it makes bonds with your pridemates and we become closer than before. We are Gespenster, we fight only when we have to, as you all should know. However, before I start this session, I must give out a few rules; Claws are to be sheathed, there are young ones still growing and we need them, for they are the future of this pride." he said before raising his head. "It is your choice if you wish to participate or not, however it would be greatly appreciated if you did. There are some who have never participated in events such as this, I would suggest giving them tips on how everything works."

He paused yet again before grinning. "You may choose your partner if you wish. Questions? Feedback? Suggestions? If you do, come to M'lord Zeitgeist or myself. If not, let the session commence." he said the last sentence calmly before leaning back on a tree, rather relaxed though he watched carefully on who his pridemates would pick as their partners.

Fable & Suture & Laika & Raven & Rah

Suture and Fable passed glances to each other as they came onto the scene; both wondering who they themselves could choose as partners, though Fable obviously thought this more of a fun opportunity in contrast to Suture, who knew how to fight and didn't really care for choosing someone other than her children. But for the moment, they sat stationary, the young ones should be the first to choose. After all, this was their first battle training, and they should be able to choose first.

Laika looked excitedly from where she sat nearby, but the young blind sister leaning on her didn't look as thrilled about it. "Can I just spar with you, Laika?..." She trailed, not sounding like the most confident person right now. The red 'ess looked down at her, a soft smile on her face as she regarded her question. Upon realizing she couldn't see it though, she implied through voice instead. "You should spar with Jasper, he'd be happy to teach you some moves! He could teach you much better than I could."

"Yeah bu-"

"Jasper!" Laika roared to get his attention, bounding up to the place where he stood. Raven sighed and shook her head as she felt her support leave momentarily, knowing very well that there was no stopping her sister now. The red lioness smirked as she looked up at one of her 'fathers', tail ticking towards Raven. "You should be Raven's partner! You could teach her some good moves and help her out, can't you?" She didn't really wait for a reply before bounding back to her half sibling a bit. Raven opened her maw to protest, but Laika quickly cut her off with a mutter. "You can't depend on me all the time Raven, you're perfectly capable, I know you. Besides, he's your dad! He's not gonna hurt you."

Rah's gaze and interest quickly fell on the possibility of Chronic as a partner, but he knew his brother would likely want to spar with him instead, he at least wanted some larger male to fight with, rather than his brothers... Maybe Zeitgeist? or Morphine? He wanted to learn from someone good. A hopeful look cast his father's way.

ZEITGEIST, DEX, RAVYN, ELLIOT

[/i] He encouraged with a smile, tail lashing behind him as he prepared for whatever his son may throw his way.

Elliot and Ravyn, meanwhile, had only just arrived. Not far behind them was Dex. He seemed a little disinterested. At least until he saw Suture and Fable both without someone to spare. Dexter moved toward them both.

"Laaaadies. No one to spar with? What says you both versus I?" He asked, feeling a bit bold. Ravyn watched as Dexter tried to pair up with two adult females, but she didn't have anyone to spare with yet. She glanced at Elliot, who had dashed over to Laika and Raven.

"Hey! Either one of you wanna spare?" He asked enthusiastically, unaware Laika had asked Jasper if he could spare with Raven. Ravyn leaned to her side a bit and slumped down. When someone else finished, or if Dexter stopped hogging the mothers, maybe then she would have someone to spar with.[/ul][/blockquote]

Jasper chuckled, nodding before standing up and padding over to his daughter with a grin. "Of course I'll spar with you, Raven. Don't worry, i'll take it easy on you. Would you like a few tips before we start?" he said calmly, looking down at his blind daughter. She was a sweetheart and willing to help and that made him proud, everyone in fact.

Suture & Fable & Rah & Laika & Raven

Rah's red eyes opened wide in surprise, but soon narrowed with a smirk. "Only the best." He growled playfully, whipping his tail and sinking into a lunge-position, ready for whatever dad had to dish out.

Laika looked to Elliot and nodded happily as he approached, not going to let him go without a partner while she waited for her own father. "Of course I'll be your partner El!" She chirped, pawing at her half brother in challenge. Raven on the other hand folded her ears down in embarrassment at her father's words. "Thanks daddy but... You don't have to go easy on me." She tried to sound braver, she didn't want everyone to think she was incapable.

On the other side, Fable and Suture exchanged smirks of amusement at Dex, but it was the half Voodanian that stepped forward and began to circle him like prey. "If you think you can handle us..." She challenged, and Fable chuckled as she caught on, circling as well. They may be mothers, but they were both in for some fun.

[/i] He lashed a forepaw out suddenly, but purposely made it short of Rah, egging his son on. As if to say; come and fight!

Elliot grinned widely. "Awesome!" He cheered, then leaped at Laika without second thought. Her paw had, however, tripped him and he tumbled beside her with a surprised expression as he turned to her.

Dex grinned and lashed his tail. "Laaaadies. Of course I can." He said and prepared himself. He had to keep an ear out for one, and eyes on the other. This would be a challenge![/ul][/blockquote]
