(Alice has low muse. Deal with it :I)
After hours of absolutely excrutiating pain, the female's head rested upon the soft floor of her den, a femur from a large elk laying on the ground, cracked from where her jaws had clenched upon it. Her jaws hung open, still panting, but she felt euphoric, gazing upon her very subtly striped cubs. The stripes would lighten over time, but she was still ever so pleased with how the litter had turned out. Seven health children, a bit small, but only due to how large the litter was. They would grow swiftly. She was a little concerned with how many males she had, given the tufts of fuzz sprouting from their skulls. "Raegan," she called softly. While she felt so very happy, she did not feel safe without her mate. She had turned incredibly aggressive during the birth, but now she was calm and collected. "I want you to see your sons and daughters," she rumbled.
Rachel does blind cubby things. Such a gumming her mum's belly.
Alfwin stood at the den, shoulder almost completely healed, but a bit afraid to go in. He had been smacked fairly hard on the muzzle when he had peaked his nose in previously to investigate the roaring the tigress produced. It had been a warning. He did not want her claws down his face. She was the dominant female of Jaaku for good reason. He had a slight bruise from it even. Now he knew never to bother a female in labor.

Severus
The tiger-demonic lion mix squirmed about, fighting for food that he deserved, he purred before getting a good spot to eat, it was clear he was a strong child and he would become a feared subordinate someday.

Renita
The young female had grown into a more muscle toned adolescent, quite thick for her age and gender, but about as rough and tumble as she was when she was a small cub. The memo on the arrival of her new half siblings had her front and center to the cave, curiosity eating at her soul at what they looked like; especially considering that their mother was significantly more exotic looking than their own breed. Demonics with stripes? This she wanted to see! Peering her blue eyes gently into the cave, but not so far as to set the female inside off, she mewed quietly. "May I see them sometime as well? I'd love to get a look at my half siblings."

Remus was one of the middle births, and thus far seemed to be completely normal and healthy. The newborn fed heartily. Four teats. Remus fought his way to insure one of them would be his.

Raegan Alkaev, Romulus Alkaev
Raegan had assumed a seated position for what seemed like hours, waiting outside of the den. Only ever moving to retrieve anything Adelaide might have required. Otherwise he sat there, in thought. How would the cubs turn out? He certainly hoped they would all come out healthy and strong. Never had he interbred quite like this before and he knew not of the possible disabilities that could very well appear in his young. The dominant gave brief eye contact to the two that showed up to see what was going on, Adelaide's roars had piqued the curiosity of the younger ones it seemed. He noticed the bruise on Alfwin's cheek and couldn't help but chuckle to himself a bit. Even he, during Adelaide's pregnancy, had gotten his fair share of baps to the head. As Adelaide's roars began to subside then stop, the air became deathly quiet, until the sound of soft little mews reached his ears. So many strong tiny voices. He leaned forward with one paw out and ears standing up, incredibly curious now. When his name came from the inside of the den he knew that was his cue, still he was careful and slow. The melanistic demonic stretched his neck forward to stick his nose in the den first before moving forward and placing his raised paw into the den. Emeralds looked Adelaide right into her golden eyes first and just stared at her for a moment before giving a faint smile. The mews of the little ones caught his attention again and he looked down to them. One..two..three..Raegan tried to count as they squirmed about and crawled over each other. ..six..seven. He was surprised, it was the biggest litter he ever had. It was also the first time a demonic had ever had cubs with a tigress. It was something he never thought he would do but there he was, in awe over his little striped newborns. Raegan circled around to Adelaide's side and moved his head down to nuzzle her cheek affectionately, a low purr emitting from the brute. "They're beautiful."
Romulus squirmed and wiggled his tiny body trying to remain upright as he moved around his other siblings in competition for a meal. He crawled on top of his brother Serverus and let out the loudest mew he could muster as he pushed down on him and wiggled about, fighting for the teat he had.

Aidan & Adam
Adam gave a soundless mewl, and squirmed between his siblings, settling in comfortably before suckling eagerly, pawing at anyone who got too close.
Aidan paced a few yards away from the den, out of sight. She debated on going to congratulate the new mother and make sure she was okay, but... She was never fond of Adelaide. However when she saw her father disappear into the den, she tensed all over again. A soft hiss escaped her maw and she whirled around and walked off. She wanted nothing to do with it.

The female cooed to her young softly and looked up to Raegan. "The first of a new species," she teased lightly. "The demonic liger." She swept her tail over her young, in bliss, unaware that this happy family would some day be ripped apart by tragedy. The tigress was exhausted and rested her head, receptive to the nuzzle from her mate. "Won't be able to hunt for a while," she heaved, looking at the youths. That would take a while. They were to small at this age to be left for more than a few minutes, such as getting water or grabbing a snack from the pile. "Five males and two females. This won't be fun. Boys are always terrors, so I've heard." She had a few worries still on her mind, all regarding the clan's much desired acceptance. As Renita poke her her head in, Adelaïde smiled. "Of course. And tell Alfwin he's safe now, would you?" She was tempted to say dear, but she doubted the young female appreciated her father's choice in mates. She wouldn't push it.

(TIME SKIP. Walking an' a talking. Oh. They can see now.)
Adelaide yawned as she felt tiny paws against the side of her skull. It was Rachel. It was still early in the morning, but she should have known she would not get to sleep much. The huge litter had kept her up quite late. "Momma! Momma! You promised!" The cub shouted in her mother's ear. The female cracked a golden eye and heaved. "Momma! You said you were gonna take us out this mornin'!" The tigress slowly got up from underneath her cubs and yawned loudly.
"Shh. Okay. Momma's got it." She still looked quite sleepy, but a soft smile appeared. "We're gonna stay to the dens, though." She did not want her first brood leaving her sight. With so many, it would be a hard task to accomplish. She was determined, however. She could not say she trusted every member in the Clan, though it was Meurtrier that truly worried her. "Everyone up. Today is a big day," she crooned. She lead the way out, for her children's first look at the world and their first meeting of the pride.

Severus Alkaev
The demonic liger child woke up and shook his head. "Would you quit shouting? I'm going already!" he lamented with a frown, stomping after his mother with a sigh. "Mother, is this our first time out of the den? Please.. just try not to make me get involved. I hate socializing! Hmph." he snorted before looking around the world coldly, taking his first steps out of the den. "Ah, it's great, I guess.. hehe." he said with a smirk, chuckling, perhaps he could meet some badass Meurtrier or Jaaku guys. Oh yeah, he couldn't wait for sure!

From the moment his eyes opened, and legs became strong enough to move him, Remus was distant, unusually so for a cub. He was also a major bully; come his own feeding times, he'd compete and regularly fight against his siblings for a meal, as a result he was growing strong, large, but still... quiet... Barely speaking, spending most his time sitting at the edge of the den and looking out to the world.
He waited for mum to lead the way.

Delirious Faire | Adalynn
A tan ear flicked to the sounds of an anxious youth. Gray rimmed eyes moved to the den that held the mate and offspring of the pride dominant. Disarray had recently taken over Jaaku's ally. Because of this, the assassin kept himself on high alert. A threat to Meurtrier was a threat to the neighbor. Already cubs had ended up dead or napped. But not these cubs. Not on his watch. Delirious had placed himself a good ways away from the den, so as not to make the inhabitants nervous of his presence. Areta sat closer than he. It was better that way. Adelaide would trust her being close to the cubs. Both females had birthed Raegan's cubs. Del could only find it fitting. As the mother and young emerged, the blue maned male slowly and calmly sat up, gaze drifting over the area, watching the family's back.
She didn't want to get up. She didn't want to go out into the unknown and face things that could hurt her. What she did want was to continue sleeping. But as her siblings began to file out behind their mother, the sudden loneliness had her frightened. Ignoring her tiredness Lynn popped to her too big feet, fumbling over herself to reach Adelaide with a protesting whimper.
