Elliot was growing restless among so many individuals. He had departed the group and his sister for some alone time, to get his thoughts and restless souls together. So many urges to harm had passed through his head and he was loathe to even allow himself a short nap. But still... He needed rest. He was growing ever more ragged and was having trouble standing without swaying. Since he had met up with Curse, he had slept sparingly... But with the Caliver pride and family in such close proximity, it was become harder to remain strong against temptation when so many voices called to him on no sleep. He'd begun seeing things, some the machinations of his own mind, others what the demons were sending him. He was having horrific visions of ancient battles, premonitions of disgusting acts he'd commit. Some of the imps were working their way deeper into his consciousness and occasionally, he would have a thought of his own that was less than pleasant for absolutely no reason. He feared his passive demeanor would soon begin to wane.
Racing thoughts slowed as the monochrome brute laid down and rested his scarred face in the snow, hoping to disappear for a few hours, away from anyone as night fell. He adjusted his eye patch and slowly dozed off.

When things had calmed down and they came to a resting point, she had pulled the sharp object from her side. Although, it made a new burning sensation and some blood spilled from her side onto the snow that had fallen. What surprised her is that it did not take long to heal at all. However a scar did remain, but she supposed it was fine. Now, as she was looking around for her brother she noticed that he had seemingly vanished. Panic struck her heart, thinking he collapsed from exhaustion or got lost from the group.
She immediately started to look for him, separating from the Caliver group. She had not thought to mention it to Donato, or anyone for that matter. Having the determination to find him, she eventually did. She came upon a sleeping Elliot and she sighed in relief. The snow was starting to build up on top of him, so she silently brushed it off. She was doing her best to remain quiet and not wake him, Curse knew that he needed all the sleep he could get.
Since he looked like he might be cold, she laid down beside him, adding her warmth to his own. For now she'd just watch over him until he awoke.

Curse was vaguely sensed as she approached, though she drew no reaction from the slumbering male and his inner demons. But when she brushed the snownoff, she caused him to rouse, though quite slowly. Had it just been Elliot, he would not have stirred. He was entirely unconscious. One demon never rested or let itself get distracted. And it waited for Curse to get cozy before slipping into control.
Elliot lifted his head as Curse laid down slightly and adjusted his head so he could look at his sister with his single eye and rested his chin on the snow again. "You shouldn't be here," he muttered softly. "It's not safe to be with me when I am not awake." He grew quiet and closed his eye. "I'm sorry," he heaved, sounding utterly dejected. "I never wanted this. To make it so no one could trust me. I was just tired of being weak..." He looked away then.
Aziel, as Elliot called him though this was not his true name, was seeking to draw Curse in. Elliot cared about Curse more than anyone in the world. He had almost no one else, except maybe Jasper. He was not sure on Noxol, only because he had yet to see him yet and Maya had disappeared long ago. Any friend he made soon left him, and he could not blame them. Aziel fed off this misery and pain. The demon relished in anything that pushed Elliot over the edge. Any time a spark of race appeared in his host, he nourished it as best he could, seeking to corrupt. But thus far, Elliot had been able to overcome his emotions... But it was getting harder, and Aziel wanted to expedite this. He had plans...

Curse Crimson-Delirious
Her ears perked and she looked at her brother when he spoke. Not safe? When he isn't awake? What? His words were quite confusing, was she not talking to her brother? Perhaps one of the demons had taken control..? But wait, that didn't seem right.. this way of speaking still seemed like Elliot.. Curse, although confused, decided to believe she was speaking to her brother until something proved otherwise.
"It's okay, Elliot." She tried to console him, "I'm still here- I still trust you, we're family and family needs to stick together." She smiled softly at him, "I won't leave you, Elliot." Curse was determined to see him overcome his situation..if it is possible. She had to believe that it is, contrary to what Jasper told her and Noxol. If anything..maybe Elliot and his demons could find some sort of..harmony..or something. However, that was simply Curse's optimism speaking in the back of her mind.

Elliot's eye passed over Curse and he let his face sink back into the soft snow and a soft with lifted his shoulders. "I just wish I could make it so you could tell who was in control. It would make you safer." He closed his eye and heaved, then rubbing over his empty socket and adjusting the scrap of fabric. Aziel was appraising Curse, debating his move. She was so trusting of her brother and an obvious optimist. These were two traits that could be easily manipulated by one in his position. He ignorance also played to his favor. Elliot believed he would be burdening others with knowledge when perhaps he might have been keeping them safer. But Aziel's host was secretive.
His head lifted abruptly and then fell back to the snow. "No... Wouldn't want to put you through any sort of strain..." The pale eye appeared to focus on something in the far distance. Aziel was baiting, but Elliot was never one for such tactics, so it seemed in earnest.

Curse Crimson-Delirious
Curse tilted her head at Elliot's words.. was there such a way? Jasper didn't mention anything like that.. then again she didn't ask and neither did her father. She thought about it in silence when movement from Elliot caused her to look over at him.
"..Strain?" She said aloud in curiosity. "What is it, Elliot?" She would decide for herself what would put a strain on her. She presumed that Elliot had thought of something and wished to know more about it.
sorry it took so long to get back to this >_<

Elliot blinked and shifted his gaze back onto his sister. He looked apologetic. "It would involve invoking your own demonic heritage. But that's difficult, and possibly dangerous, opening yourself to your own darkness." More so, opening one's self to a demon or a possession. And Aziel could certainly find a fitting match for Curse. Just one more way to go ahead and continue to push Elliot's life into a living Hell. "But look at how much you have already risked for me. It would be wretched of me to ask anymore." A frown of worry appeared, but little else showed his emotion.
