Felicity Malkaevia
There were a few she pulled from the world early, like Minerva and Nebel. She could not see harm befall the male, as he had been placed in her care only recently. Minerva had been nearby- well for the God at least- so she picked her up too. Or rather, sent them both to Orinmaris. It was quite tempting to snatch others up, as well. Creatures like Amos and Kor, young ones that she refused to see die. However, she refrained. For Amos, she did it because of his twin Seamus- no good would come of separating the two. As for Kor, snatching a cub from its family- even with good intentions- wouldn't be healthy for the family. She would keep a watchful eye on them, however.
After putting Peroxide in a safe place, she felt the new lives. Images of their likeness had flowed through her mind in a flash. Then came the names: Alaric Xemvoi-Donovan, Tamara Xemvoi-Kain, and Niram Neko. It was a bit unexpected, but nevertheless she couldn't let them come in harms way so soon. It was easy grabbing Niram, it seems he had fallen- much like the way Peroxide had. Although, Niram was passed out on a ledge, laying there rather precariously- she zapped him to her home in a matter of seconds. His leg appeared to be injured, but she had no time to check the extent. Either way, she would be able to fix him up. A corner of her mind wondered what her children might think of all these random creatures appearing.
The next two were together, fortunately, but that didn't make it any easier to take them. They were right in the middle of it. She wished she could save the others as well, but there was a limit to her influence and it simply wasn't her place to intervene with the creations of other Gods. She got in, then she got out.
She had kept her distance for a very, very long time. However, it was over now- she had had enough of that. Why be a God if she could not use her powers to save those she had charge over? There were exceptions, however, to this rule. Nydena and Atlas were fine examples- although she had a small part to play- she could not influence or meddle with their fates like she could others. Children of Gods were often this way.
As she was moving on, it felt as if she had been struck by lightning- obviously she hadn't, though. It had been a feeling. Aurelius just died..for some reason she could never foresee his demise, and even more peculiar was that he ended up coming back to life. Kind of like the undead. Each time he died it hurt like hell- and he died often. He was quite the careless guy and didn't seem to particularly care about death in general. She supposed that can happen to creatures under those circumstances- they lose that awareness and caution of their surroundings.
As she found the spot where life had left him, she found the state he was in to be quite gruesome. It seems a stray fireball had shattered his left back leg and at that moment the ground opened up like jaws and swallowed him whole. He did not have a pleasant fall, either. There was a large amount of blood splattered across a particularly large rock jutting out of the side- perhaps he hit his skull. It looked as if he had been bounced back and forth between the sides while falling, either being hit by a blunt edge or stabbed by a sharp point. Until finally shattering his spine at the bottom- killing him. There was blood pooling around his mangled body..but Felicity must move on.
She found Nuidlen struggling on a cliffside- no, not a cliff..another crack in the earth. She zapped him away and moved on, soon finding the male named Audit Crimson. Quite the shy guy, even a bit cowardly at times, mostly neurotic though. She found him up in a tree, thinking he was safe from the chaos below. However, he was not. Due to the shaking of the land, the tree was about to give in and break. She saved him from the possibility of broken bones and imminent danger, deciding it was either now or never. Another she found to be struggling was a female called Morwen, of course, she whisked her away. She came across Corvus, but he was handling the situation just fine it seemed. He was being efficient and flying only when it was absolutely necessary, plus he was far away from the fireballs. She did not feel the need to rescue him.
Next she came upon Lucian who had been traveling with Ezekiel- it seems since they both had wings they had taken to the skies. However, it looked liked they were starting to feel exhaustion. Sure enough, Lucian was the first to pass out. She watched as he started to veer off to the side, descending rapidly. Ezekiel was fast to react, however, and immediately flew after him- but he couldn't possibly carry a full grown male. After all, he had been struggling to stay in the air before the extra weight.
Felicity pressed her nose against a sapling, then blew on it- after a few seconds it quivered and then erupted forth: growing larger and larger at a rapid rate. It reached up to meet the two in the air as they descended slowly. Zeke was surprised by it, but otherwise landed..incredibly safely. It was weird and he looked around in complete bewilderment. "Do not worry," The voice was beautiful- mystical, so otherworldly, and he spun around to see a small female. He blinked- usually he would be worried but..he wasn't? Not even slightly on guard..it was quite..out of character for him. It felt as if she exuded sincerity and safety, it felt like he could completely trust this female even though he had no idea who the hell she was.
She smiled softly and then- everything around him changed. He was no longer atop the tree- in fact this didn't even seem like the world he had come to know and understand. The world that had started to be ripped apart. It was a vibrant place- a happy place. At least, that was the feeling he got from it all.
"Oh, there's another one." Cernunnos said it via telepathy- however the only ones that could hear him were his siblings.
"Wonder what Mom's up to." Cerridwen absently wondered, as far as she knew it was just the siblings and their mother that could traverse from Orinmaris to Novis and vice versa. So, why was she sending so many over here?
