Tainted - One Xemvoi | Tilren Purus - Xemvoi | Lilliana Xemvoi | Ramses Von Haeil - Xemvoi | Gaid Xemvoi | Dane MacKeltar
The Terrae had, for the most part, remained untouched by the surrounding chaos of the world. Outside their own front door the encircling forest appeared to be withering away. But the Sanguis Valley lay green. Granted not as lush as it once was months ago. The protective mountains that bowled in the territory did a great job in helping lessening the heat. The soil itself held a sustainable amount of water.
Yet not all was completely perfect. Two rivers now graced the land. Water from the largest mountain side rushed down into the valley. The snow caps high above had begun to melt. The valley rested in a long since dead mega volcano. The land slowly lowered the closer you got to the middle, inclining towards the mountain walls. The water rushed down hill toward the middle of the lands. The lake that was already there was now nearly double in size.
Because of the water level, the low land den areas had been abandoned. T.O had moved his family to higher ground; having advised the MacKeltars do the same.
The Xemvoi patriarch sat high on one of the mountains, over looking the forest below. The ground had already started to tremble and groan. There were plenty of dens scattered in the sturdy mountain. The higher up one was the less tremors they felt. Most was absorbed by the rock.
T.O was well aware of the small pride that lived among the trees nearby. He had debated on whether or not to allow them asylum within the valley. Though that decision still leaned far from yes.
An ear flicked as Tilren leapt up the rock faces and coming to stand beside his father. "Do you think that volcano will erupt?" Til questioned as he too scanned the land below.
"I've no doubt it will. But never fret my boy. That lava will be long cooled before it reaches us. The ash is what you should worry about... Though the tunnels in these mountains are deep enough. We will be fine.." There was a matter of fact tone in his voice. Lilliana had already made known her desire to leave the Terrae and move further from the Volcanoes location. But T.O would not budge. He refused to leave their home.
Below in one of the higher dens, Gaid sat perched on the ledge, having already been warned by his grandmother to go no further less he tumbles to his death.
Ramses took up his normal post somewhere near Lilliana, to watch over her as was his assigned job. All the while the young male looked about nervously as the occasional quake touched down.
Dane had naturally stuck with his family. Going where they decided to go. Whether that be staying in the low lands, moving to higher ground or leaving the land entirely.
