Caitlyn, Donato, Brooke, Joshua, Campion, Ivan, Memmo, Ciel.
They were enjoying themselves as they'd always had. Donato had seen the exchange between Caesar and the trio they'd let go not too far back, but it was insignificant. Only they would remember what happened and they would tell them only if they felt necessary and only Caesar would inform them of what went down if necessary. Donato knew how that felt. He didn't press the matter. But he did enjoy the fact that Caitlyn pulled them all together. That Caitlyn continued to be motherly to them all, to care for them and speak to them as the family they all were. Brooke certainly enjoyed her 'sister's' company.
Joshua and Campion had grown big. She could no longer over power them as she once had before. Ivan, Memmo, and Ciel, all older cubs now, had grown to be quite close to one another - and even closer so to their counter parts. Ciel had gotten annoyed often enough with her brothers - all... Four... of them as weird as it was. She couldn't tell them apart and more often than not, she'd asked Donato why they were named the same - and why they looked so similar. More often than not the answer was 'your mother was unique when she carried the lot of you'. Simply because he didn't know the mother, and knew magic had a part to play. That magical lioness would be the death of him, truly she would.
But as they relaxed, as the sun rose into the sky, the serene atmosphere would be disrupted viciously so. The mountain they were on seemed to sway violently back and forth and the ground around them groaned in pure despair. Brooke screeched loudly in reply and Donato was on his paws instantly, calling for 'his' children sharply. Joshua and Campion gave out loud cries as fear hit them and Caitlyn leaped to her paws as fear pulsed down her being, a scream building in her maw but never leaving to the open air. She couldn't lose it - she couldn't do that to her pride and she had to force herself to remember. She was Queen.
"Easy, easy!" She called to them, stumbling as she moved to lean against Donato as the two made their way to the cubs. A pause as things stilled. Caitlyn looked around before leaping higher up the mountain still, reaching a rock she'd found that gave a beautiful view of the lands. One paw held close to her chest, she leaned forward and looked around... And even she could see the destruction in the distance that had occurred... But more than that, something seriously weird was happening on the horizon. The blue to the west of them was... Was far more vivid and closer than she ever recalled. "Donato!"
The male left his cubs in Brooke's care - even if she was still trembling - and took to the skies. Immediately, he saw what Caitlyn saw. Yet before either could comment further, the mountainous rock beneath them groaned again as it shook once more - far more harsh than before. Caitlyn lost her bearings.
She slipped from her perch... And Caitlyn Caliver fell.
Had Donato not been flying beside her, he would have thought her scream had been in nothing but terror for what was occurring. But watching her slip, watching her fall... His heart dropped to the pits of his stomach and he unconsciously moved, pulling his wings to him to dive after her. The race against gravity was on but it didn't take too much longer for him to reach for her and get a good grasp around her with his legs as she wrapped her own paws around his neck. His wings snapped open, catching the air underneath them - but the added weight strained him and his wings - they would be incredibly sore the next day. If they survived.
It was within view of everyone that things shifted and Donato realized this, giving several harsh beats of his wings... And at last their fall slowed and Donato was able to safely land and place Caitlyn down, even as the grounds continued to tremble violently. They stared at one another for a moment before releasing and shifting from each other, Caitlyn slowly moving away. Just in time did they shift away from the spot that they were on as the rock that she'd been previously standing on fell right where they'd been a moment ago. The two yelled, jumping further away before looking up. The peak of their mountain... Was breaking off, tilting dangerously towards them. Caitlyn snapped into action. "EVERYONE MOVE! NOW!"
She burst from her spot, gathering the younger ones and pushing them in the direction away from camp. They would move perhaps just in time before the loud crack of the rock slamming against the mountain side and dragging towards them began to echo - and just as a far louder explosion snapped through the air. Caitlyn whirled around with Donato at her side just in time to see Novis' Volcano erupting brilliantly so in colors of hot red, dark gray, and lightning flashing through the midst of it all. Immediately worry filled her... Meurtrier... Jaaku... Them. "KEEP MOVING!" She roared. It was all they could do. For now.

COCAINE, CAESAR, MEMMO[2], IVAN[2], CASPER, DAE
[/i]. Casper ran and pushed anyone who wasn't along, even willing to grab and drag anyone who needed that push. The 'additional' Memmo and Ivan were with their equal counterparts, huddled together until Dae picked two up and encouraged Brooke to do the same, and then they would run. And Cocaine, in typical fashion, kept to the back. Everyone before him. Most didn't realize what was happening. It was the earth's roar and the sight of the peak falling that had them moving. Most of them, that is. But Cocaine turned, he saw the volcano boil. He saw it rage. And for the first time in a long time, Cocaine felt the fear turn him cold, the blood slow before the screams of fear before him brought his heart to a race again. Fear not for himself, fear for his loved ones. And then, as always, the reassurance he needed. Time slowed as he felt Ryssor brush up against him, and together they watched their world begin to crumble. May the Gods have mercy.[/ul][/blockquote] [/div][/div] [Noa's given me permission to rp Ry when necessary <3]

Journey His paws carry him effortlessly, racing to leave the camp. Only to pause when he noticed Caesar struggling behind. Journey launches himself at his nephew and helps Caesar on to his back. With the younger gray male aboard, Journey begins to run again. (Permission was given!)

Grenade Donovan
The spectacle had been quite sudden. The male's time in the Caliver pride was like an extended vacation, one he found himself enjoying even if he missed the drama of the old Meur-La Morte pissing match. To have the Earth shake like so and to hear everybody raising alarm was both amusing and thrilling, though he was a little bit scared. Still, he put it all into the back of his mind and rushed to the group, seeing Cocaine leading the back. That old man had never changed. Even this respect was interrupted by the sight of Caitlyn falling, and Donato rushing to her rescue. Dear lord, she was lucky he had such a reaction time.
He caught the old Caliver's glance back and followed it to see the volcano erupting, spewing liquid death down its cone faster than he'd thought possible.
Looks like his vacation had just been interrupted.
He picked up pace and made himself part of the middle-lane of the pride.

Minor gore warning below.
Caspian woke up from his perch atop one of the many outcroppings in the Caliver mountains. Some sort of chill passed through him and the big male shivered involuntarily. He rose slowly, stretching and yawning. A looked around the range revealed nothing, though blue eyes did pick up family members. He had always made a habit of sleeping on high ground. When he traveled as he did, it was safer, making it more difficult for foes to get the jump on him.
Another chill passed through Caspian, causing him to tense and seconds later, the world moved underneath him. Claws sank into the rock as he held on, beginning to bristle. Then what he was braced upon shifted and stared to slide off the mountain. Toward a recently awoken Jonathan.
Johnny was still blinking the sleep away when the huge slab of rock began hurtling toward him. He'd followed his big brother to the outcropping, but the lanky mutt had been too lazy to climb with Caspian. Instead, he had settled below. He glanced up and panicked rooted him to the spot. It would not have mastered if he could run, anyways, he would have been hit regardless.
Luck was on his side as something faster crashed into his side, and sent him tumbling another fifty feet away. Ribs cracked and a string of profanity erupted from Johnny's mouth. He got up, and rather than begin running, he looked toward what had smashed into him. Caspian was laying on the ground with a snarl plastered on his face, his heavy tail and his left hind leg trapped under the rock, with other rocks laying atop him. His wings had sprouted and were not at good angles. They morphed back into his body and he hissed as he tried to drag himself forward, but to no avail. Jonathan was at his side in seconds, throwing his weight into the mammoth slab of rock and earth that had nearly fallen on him. "Run, you idiot!" Caspian roared, trying to shove Johnny away.
"No fucking way. Not leaving you, shithead!" He slammed into it again as he heard the explosion in the distance. His heart sank somewhat, but he could not stop. He smacked Caspian. "Jasper is a giant fucking rage monster! He could move this shit! That's your dad! Why can't you get out?!" he shouted.
Caspian snarled at his brother, but he put more effort into it. He roared in pain as he slowly drug his shattered leg and tail out from under the mass, blood trailing along the ground as pieces of bone jutted from his flesh. Despite all the weight that had fallen on him, the bone was not crushed completely. Neither in his tail or leg... But neither would be used for a while and would require serious medical attention.
John ran up to his brother and braced against him, tears in his eyes to some extent, but they moved back to camp as fast as possible, Caspian's leg and tail dragging behind him. He could be thankful that he had mostly inherited Jasper's anatomy. Caspian managed to get his wings out again, though they were dislocated from their sockets. He did his best to rember what he'd been taught by Jasper about dislocations and he lifted them and began rotating them. A scream turned into a roar as the tendons pulled the joints back into place. With some effort, he was airborne and John started running, with Caspian flying overhead. There was no time to waste on the pain. They soon reached the camp, Caspian hovering in the air, looking for Casper.

gonna go ahead and slide this in with this thread >_> <_< Curse Crimson-Delirious
She had been climbing the mountain, hopefully her brother behind her, as Curse thought to take Donato up on his offer. That was when the rumbling began and she immediately brought herself to the ground, claws extended. The shake was so violent, she watched as a crack started to form on the ledge she had stopped on. She watched as it continued up and around and her eyes grew wide in realization. Then the ledge slid from its place and Curse jumped forward, but too late. Only her paws had caught the ledge, and she was slipping. She struggled to gain high ground, but her strength was not enough, even the earth did not seems to want her there as it tried to shake her off.. and it succeeded. A string of profanity flowed from her mouth as she fell to the ledge below her, only to bounce off of that and go tumbling down the mountainside, bumping into rocks, tress, and ruining plenty of shrubs.
Pain shot through her whole body and she reached out with both forelegs, clawing at the ground in hopes to stop. Somewhere through the tumble, she must have bitten her tongue, because she could taste the blood in her mouth.. yet she did not feel pain there. All the pain was in her side, but she ignored it for now. She looked around and saw what had to be the Caliver pride- had she literally tumbled into their camp? No, they had been running.. A chill ran down her spine as movement caught her eyes and she saw the peak sliding down the mountain straight for them. She scrambled to her feet as she recognized the form of Donato, but beyond him, she could see the sky and the boom was a clear indication as to what had happened. Nothing was looking good today. "Don-" Her voice broke and she coughed up blood, she stared at it mildly confused and her vision became slightly blurry. She couldn't tell if it was simply the ground shaking beneath her or if she was off balance herself as she swayed back and forth for a moment. Slowly, she turned her head to look at her side, which had been aching and burning since the tumble. There, Curse saw a small, yet sharp-looking rock lodged in her chest.
Was she going to die? Here? Now? Her eyes narrowed and she grit her teeth, claws dug into the ground beneath her.
I refuse.
It was a simple thought that heightened her will to live, to keep living. Unbeknownst to her, her will is what triggered something within her: her wound started to heal- what could have possibly killed her or taken weeks to heal would now only take an hour.
She needed to meet up with her brother, again; but there was no way she could go back the way she came. Especially not in this chaos. Curse knew her brother was tough, and so were the demons that possessed him, she would see him again..surely. Hopefully soon. For now, she needed to run- she doubted she would be much of a surprise to the pride and simply hoped they didn't mind the tag along. She came up to Donato, panting, and would run with him. "Not exactly how I pictured our next meeting to be..Hope you don't mind me popping in like this." She said, just for good measure.

Caitlyn, Donato, Brooke, Joshua, Campion, Ivan, Memmo, Ciel.
Cocaine's roar was deafening, but it sure as hell gathered them together. Caitlyn and Donato glanced around once before realizing that yes, the cubs were gathered. Dae had two of them and Brooke was joined by Joshua and Campion to grasp the last three. Journey had Caesar and she gave her uncle a nod of gratitude. Grenade was quick to join them. Her eyes scanned them all once more before a scream in the distance poured ice into her veins. She never, ever wished to hear her brother of all of them, screaming in pain. But she heard it now - and it wasn't much longer before Caspian and Johnathan were rushing their way to the rest of them, with Caspian flying. She feared for his condition but there were far more pressing issues - "To the southwest side! We go down the mountainside and then we deal with the Volcano - we must leave now!" And she turned and began to lead, faster than before as they began the trek down. Her and Donato knew every path to take, every place to go - and it would come in handy now.
As they ran, her father and step-mother in the back, she was certain that they were all together - until another joined. The voice and appearance had Caitlyn looking over - even more so as the female addressed Donato and Donato - shock and nerves was the only reason - laughed. It was shaky, breathless, but still the chuckle caught her off guard for a moment and Caitlyn could only guess it was because they knew each other. She'd heard the words, and decided to answer before Donato could, "As long as you found us now, you best stick with us. We're better off together than alone." Caitlyn called out before rushing further ahead to make it down to the bottom. "Come on, Calivers! Only a little more to go!" She roared over her shoulder, just as the ear-splitting sound of grating rocks began as the peak of their mountain truly began to slide and tumble it's way to the bottom not too far off to the side from them. At least none of them were in danger of the peak any longer - not unless they strayed from the path she was running.

COCAINE, CAESAR, MEMMO[2], IVAN[2], CASPER, DAE
Caine stood with Ryssor as they watched the pride they had founded, leave. He wanted to attack the mountain and the ground for this, but he knew better and understood that wasn't a solution. Once all were poured out, racing down the mountain, he and Ryssor would run as well. Going as far as to lift her up and carry her on his back.
Casper was quick to move to Caspian's side, shocked at his condition and willing to help in any way he could. The cubs are taken care of and Caesar is moving along with the help of Journey. superfeesh

Journey Running is taking a toll on the males. Caesar's missing leg proves most difficult to work with, but Journey isn't giving up yet. He gives his nephew a good shove, resulting in their slight tumble. Balance is quickly regained for the older male, but Caesar lags behind.
"We must keep running!" Journey snaps, pushing and shoving Caesar back to his paws as they race down the mountain with the rest of the pride. Caine, Journey's brother, is in the back of his mind. Concern momentarily fills him, but he knows he must stick to helping Caesar. Surely the behemoth can handle himself. FJ!

Typing with a bandaid on my ring finger because the kitten moved faster than I did.Grenade Donovan
The world would spin and churn, violent and livid as it raged a war all its own around them. The male could see trees tipping and dirt moving in ways not at all normal, and his nostrils flared as he rushed to keep up with the pride. He was grateful his condition was miraculously better than it had been--he may have been unaware as to why or what all had happened in his absence, but the ability to freely move and actually command his limbs to keep pace with any of the felines in prime condition no doubt was keeping him alive at the moment.
A streak of scarlet and amber caught his peripheral, and though it was distant he could feel the thud reverberating in his chest. Horrific as it was, it was one more obstacle to keep a watch on. "Eyes on the sky!" If they could afford it. It would be hard to say--one misstep meant death just the same as a late reaction to a fireball.

Far from Meurtrier, Noxol's sword would ignite with energy. The reasoning for this was lost to the nephalim, who was occupied by the disaster and easily could have mistaken the awakening as being due to simply that. Razor however had sensed his grandchild's pain, his ferocious need to protect his descendants tempered only by the limitations he and his son shared alike...

TRIGGER WARNING AS ALWAYS
Caspian hovered by his gather family, face showing that he was indeed in a great amount of pain. Blood with dripping from him, but he slowly lowered and landed, though his wings remained out and raised up in case of another take off. He seemed to jump when his mangled leg and tail touched the ground, but he remained somewhat steady. Blue eyes started to get a bit glassy. He glanced at Casper and rolled his shoulders. He did not say anything, as he was sure he might start shouting. He snarled as he took to the sky again, leaving a red splattered trail. He would wait for Casper to join him before following his father. When everything stopped, he would have to go see wither his father or the doctor he had heard mentioned before.
Jonathan ran still, looking over his shoulder to his two largest siblings, slowing down for a moment, but he kept up and focused on his surroundings once more. Slender body was suited for running. Luckily, while his rib cage was quite sore, the adrenaline numbed the pain. Johnny was not quite so good at dealing with pain.
After the drama of an attempted suicide by one of the weaker demons possessing him, Elliot had stuck to his sister like glue so long as she stayed near. He yet had to confess the full truth of how bad his condition was, the constant worry that he might try to bring harm to her lingered in his mind. The dark voices ever remained, continuing to whisper their sweet, sick promises to him. The imps were not what he most fear, though. No, he feared the demon who he had now learned was stronger than he had previously thought. Elliot did not get the sleep that he should have due to this. He did not want one of the residents assuming control of himself and doing something to his sister. He reasoned that in all honesty, he should be avoiding her like the plage to bring the risk down... But he was selfish and could not bring himself to do so. But at the least, he did try to avoid sleeping right by her. The quake hit without any warning, though the forces in his head had been incredibly excitable of late. He had not been able to understand, but it made sense as the shaking brought him to consciousness. "Exciting..." he murmured darkly before putting a white paw over his mouth and biting into it. "No." Remaining in control of himself was becoming more and more difficult. You're no fun. He growled loudly but moved on and began tracking down Curse. She had fled first and his priority was her safety. He moved quickly, unfazed by the earth's fury. His lacking sanity made it difficult to unnerve him in certain instances. Elliot soon caught sight of his sister running along side a bright red male and something of a protective instinct sparked, but his pale eye simply narrowed. He hung back a bit, looking for his other relatives. He had only met Caspian briefly, but he knew of Casper as well. The brothers were huge and hard to miss. But Caspian's leg and tail were cause for concern. Another hard shake pulled him back to the moment and the explosions in the distance drew his gaze. His ears flattened, then perked. "A thing of beauty." His eye glinted coldly, but he simply adjusted his eye patch and moved to flank Curse. He noted her would and glanced over her. He was silent though, voice not quite his own, even if they were his words.

I haven't had much muse lately, so please bear with me. Curse Crimson-Delirious
The laugh surprised Curse, but she looked at the female that spoke instead. She still felt panicked about the situation, but was definitely calmer now that she was with others in the exact same situation as her. She simply nodded, agreeing that staying together is more beneficial. As she ran, the dull pain in her side hardly bothered her at all now; she wondered if this was a good or bad thing.
She looked behind her, just to see if there were any stragglers- but instead saw Elliot. She stared at him for a second before her eyes widened slightly. Had he always been there? Surely not, she would have noticed him. When did her brother get here then? Well, either way she didn't care too much- as long as they were reunited. "Elliot! I'm glad that you're safe!" She slowed down slightly to run right beside him.
"Are you okay?" She looked him over- she couldn't see any signs of wounds, however. Curse was genuinely concerned for her brother's well-being. The warning to keep eyes on the sky caused her to look up just in time to see balls of fire sailing toward them. They were running directly toward it all, too. The chances of being struck by one increased with every step they took as they moved further and further into range.
