The Quixtio species appeared only a decade ago. They're still very few in these lands. The Quixtio species is part canine and feline, mixing from wolves and big cats such as the lions and puma species.
BREEDING | MATING
The Quixtio species breeding habits are very flexible. They can breed outside of their species as long as they have similar anatomy to their two species.
Quixtio don't have heat seasons and can breed freely throughout the year.
Most Quixtio don't have mates because of their promiscuous nature. It's rare for their species to settle at a young age, most Quixtio find time to settle with one female in their fourth to fifth year to ensure they can continue to breed without competition.
DIET
Quixtio are carnivorous animals that tend to hunt together. Due to their friendly habits if faced with large prey they will team with another Quixtio to take it down.
COLONIES
Quixtio are a friendly species and they live in large groups. They aren't picky about who they hang out with and most Quixtio aren't purist. They will join large groups for power in numbers to feel protected, and family connections.

APPEARANCE
Pelts are dark in color but can range from different pigments. Onyx, dark grey, blues, and purples. There are Quixtio born with red tinted and earthy colored pelts but is it rare. They have earthy colored underbellies ranging from browns to tans or bieges.
Manes are always riding down the middle of their head and down their backs. They're in a mohawk like pattern. Their manes fur color always blend into the back splatter that runs down their sides coloration. Sharing the color with the strips curling around their tails as well.
The tips of their tails are a saturated level of the markings color.
Quixtios circular lion like eyes tend to be yellow, orange, greens and the rare colors of blues. They're eyes are surrounded by black rims to heighten their eyesight in the night.
Their inner ears and nose match with the same red/pink tints.

Unlike their pure counterparts the Vampiric Quixtios fur colors are monotone for their pelt, underfur and inner ears and nose a matching black, their eyerims coming off in tints of red.
Their eye colors are always a type of red, rare colors are green tints and the rarest white.
Because the Vampires feast off of blood there is no need for them to actually hunt and kill animals, although with their blood sucking it usually ends up that way. The bright markings on their backs and tails are indicating the poison that they release from their fangs. Manes are black, dark gray, or light gray.
