TIME TEMPO & NEIL
The dark female sat beside Slaughter, she was sitting lazily leaning to the side before finally just decided it was time to just lay her entire being down. She laid her head on Slaughter's back. Tempo had seen this and walked over, poking Slaughter with his nose before walking past him, he moved his mother's head over with his own gently. Time snorted at him before moving it and dropping backwards onto her side. It was an awkward lay on her back, before she finally flopped over to the side. Tempo dropped on Slaughter, opening his jaws and biting on his father's neck playfully. Although the cubs were no longer, now adolescents Tempo still enjoyed playing with his parents.
Neil on the other hand was on his own, his red wings were stretched out in the sky as he flew above what seemed to be the current meeting area. He avoided that, and decided to find somewhere less crowded to hangout.

Reno II Kain-Donovan, Casey Caliver, Diezel Suldan, Danika Vandelle-Suldan, Ulani Vendicarsi, Colton
Reno was upon his usual spot, a rock semi near the fire that was big enough to hold him, his brother and one other. It was a place held for their sister, but she had been absent as of late. For a long while. Even so, Cyber would take that spot time from time when they needed to speak to each other. Eyes landed upon Omen and Tanzel at the sound of a throat being cleared - his gaze had been upon the moon and stars when he heard movement and at no new scent hadn't bothered to look until now. Head tilted in curiosity, Reno II jumped down and slowly made his way over before glancing at his brother, waiting for either him to wake from the ladies soft call.. Or if he didn't... One paw raised in the air, ready to 'innocently' jab at his brother's rib cage with intent to startle the male.
Casey wasn't at his side like she usually was, curled up in Diezel's side as he draped a wing over her off by the dens. Danika was on his other side, cousins with lost parents, lost fathers(?). Colton was by his father and mother, eyes staring blankly into nothingness and Ulani wasn't far from him, having made fast friends with the male.

Fierno ' Roscoe' Arisoto, Nini Suldan, Philia Kain- Donovan, Carver Tempo, Skarlett OberonRoscoe lay a rather depressed and useless lump of Bloodbeast, off by himself far from the others, but just close enough to where he could still hear. Not that there was anything of any interest to him going on here anymore. He'd taken Azul's miscarriage hard. Almost as hard as the mother herself, wherever or however she was doing after the rough, failed birth... Nini felt for her sister, she truely did, but there wasn't much else she could do but offer her condolences and let the unfortunate parents mourn over the loss of their young. So she busied herself with trying to keep her mind off of things, going to wander closer to some of her gathered family, wings tucked at her sides to try and keep as much heat as possible for this chilly day, brows perked curiously as she looked around from one bundled up member to the other before giving a shrug and sitting, curling the thick of her tail around her paws, eyes closed for a moment or two.
Carver however, seemed to be taking the fast-dropping temperatures much better than her own family, or another other La Morte member, as matter of fact. She stared up at the sky, wonder in her adolescent orbs, eagerly awaiting those still far off clouds to draw closer and give a long expected blanket of snow. She'd never seen the stuff, she and her littermates only being around on this 'good green earth' for a few months now, but she'd heard stories of it from the older members. It sounded wonderful! And finally, finally she just might be able to witness it herself for the first time this year! Now that'd be a treat.
Philia, as attentive and useful as she always tried to be, couldn't help but laugh a bit, watching one sleeping brother, and then his twin come up and poke him, trying to rouse him from his warm slumber surrounded by some others. Well, good luck to you Reno. It would be near impossible to wake her if she was the one caught in the middle of that tangle of fur and limbs. But just as quick, she cleared her throat, shouldering it off. This was no laughing matter. By the looks on the pair of Suldan's faces, whatever news they had, it couldn't be anything good. But it wasn't her place to poke her nose where it belonged, she was only a princess. If it was important, she trusted that her Kings would inform them in good time. Why wouldn't they?
Meanwhile, Skar kept her distance, having been slowly trying to intergrate herself into Cyber's pride for survival reasons and hoping she wasn't being much a burden or too out of place. Which, let's face it, no matter what she did, she wouldn't -- Couldn't quite fit in. Not yet. But, she very well couldn't care for herself and the growing young within her by herself either. Not with the dead of winter about to arrive in full force. But by spring, she and the children would be ready to go and out of their fur, she reassured. She had to admit though, it was endearing to see the male she was smitten with in action. He knew what he was doing, that's for sure.

Friuli
Out of nowhere leaped out the young brown Karleon, he'd grown for much now, nearly reaching his adult size, his mane too had grown luxurious by now... His long and muscular legs propelled him through the grass, which felt harder by the day and even whiter where shadow touched the floor. Little did it matter to him, it was good news of winter for a beat like him... Soon a leap here and there, a bit faster or slower before his now tired legs slowed down at the entrance from where on he only walked. His eyes gazed over everyone surrounding the fire to I front, left and right before giving a subtle bow in greeting. Friuli was too tired to speak, so he just moved to the left and plopped down like a rug on the stiff grass, panting.

NERO II, CALVIN, DAZEON, OMEN, SIAKON, SLAUGHTER, TANZEL, CARNAGE, HARVETTE
Slaughter growled a soft warning at Tempo as he goofed around. He raised a paw to gently and lazily bat at his son. As he did so his eyes glanced around at Carver; who seemed full of wonder. To Colton; who seemed so much less brightened. Slaughter did his best to push back Tempo and raise his head to ask, "Everything alright, boy?"
Carnage lifted his half-lidded sleepy eyes to Colton when Slaughter voiced himself. Harvette hardly budged but nestled closer in to the bundle of warmth that she had grown so attached to; but never nearly as attached as she would feel to her 'lost' family. Faint memories danced in her head of mother and father, and Harvette tried to sleep to these thoughts.
Dazeon was first to shift in his slumber, but he did not rise. Calvin was a lump of coal. It was hard to tell if he was even alive; yet the faint rise and fall of his chest reassured any curious minds. Nero II still had not moved by the time his twin arrived. It was the jab of the other king's paw that startled him into snarling rise; which also brought to life his partners. Nero's lips were pulled back in alarm and the fur on his neck bristled; until he recognized his attacker as none other than Reno II. His face was pulled into a frown and he looked at the shocked and concerned faces of Tanzel and Omen Suldan.
"What is it?" He asked as Calvin began to groom Nero's frizzled fur. Dazeon rested his head back against the ground as he listened to what the ladies had to say, casting a single glance at Reno II.
"It..." Tanzel tried to speak softly but her words got caught in her throat. Omen bowed her head.
"Please, it's urgent, and it needs to be discussed in private. Nero, Reno, if you would spare us a moment.." She asked softly, avoiding gazes cast on her from all angles. Nero yawned and stood, putting a stop to Calvin's grooming. Calvin and Dazeon exchanged confused glances as Nero looked at his twin. CanicasLADkatluver458Reylan's Imp

Reno II Donovan, Casey Caliver, Diezel Suldan, Danika Vandelle-Suldan, Ulani Vendicarsi, Colton
Lips twitched upwards into a mischievous smirk at his twins response to being poked in the side. Sometimes childish things couldn't be escaped between them - despite the serious tension that filled the air between them. But then Tanzel and Omen had their attention and the smirk was gone in an instant. A nod left him at his twins look and he took and Reno took a step forward in the direction 'lake' where few others were by. They could speak in privacy there. The moment they were out of earshot of others, he tilted his head in question to the two ladies. "What's wrong?" his tone was soothing, calm but curious. Cyber's head had lifted at the sudden tension in the atmosphere, but he remained put. They would speak to him or call him over if they needed him.
Colton jolted when a voice broke the silence between the lot of them. Well, as silent as it got with mother playing around with one of his brothers in the background. His fur had risen with his surprise, but he turned to look over his shoulder, blinking rapidly as life suddenly returned to his gaze. Ulani shifted when she felt him start, her body rolling over so her head dropped onto his paws. He glared down at her briefly in annoyance before his gaze flicked back up to his father. "It's just... Too quiet." He replied, shifting to put his other paw underneath Ulani's head and pull her closer with his other paw. Her eyes fluttered briefly before she snuggled up further to his warmth. "The quiet that winter kinda always brings, but kinda eerie, you know?" His gaze flicked back down to her before returning to his dad, glancing at Carnage briefly in the process with a small tilt of his lip in a smile.

Tempo laughed lightly as he moved away, going towards his mother and playfully biting her as well although with one bat he moved away. Mom didn't keep her claws shielded, not even for her cubs. Tempo turned around to his brother, he walked over. "Why you so tired?" Tempo asked.

NERO II, CALVIN, DAZEON, OMEN, SIAKON, SLAUGHTER, TANZEL, CARNAGE, HARVETTE
So it was Nero II, Reno II, and the ladies; alone to talk out whatever the issue was. Tanzel looked shocked, and was speechless. It took a moment and even then it was not her who spoke. It was Omen.
"We... we found a body.. you had better come with us." She kept her voice low. Nero raised a brow at this, confused, and glanced at Reno II.
"Any reason no alarms were called? Who is it?" He asked, clearly suspicious. Omen and Tanzel exchanged glances, but it was Tanzel who spoke this time.
"It's.. Siakon. We think someone here did it.. please just come with us." She urged on.
---
Slaughter nodded his head slowly. "Mhmm.." The winter was.. quiet. Sometimes too quiet. Carnage yawned and shrugged at Tempo.
"Because nothing to doooo..."

Reno II, Casey, Diezel, Danika, Ulani, Colton
Reno's brow furrowed and he exchanged the glance with Nero when given but... The words that struck true after Nero's question left him stunned. Siakon had always been off on her own, sure. But for someone to murder her? In their own pride lands? "Lead the way."
Cyber watched from a far, but still made no move to join them. At a silent signal from Reno, he twitched his ear and remained put. He would watch the pride while the others did what they needed.
Colton turned to look over his shoulder again - but this time at Tempo and Carnage. "And on that note, it begs the question, why are you so hyper." He tossed at Tempo.

NERO II, CALVIN, DAZEON, OMEN, SIAKON, SLAUGHTER, TANZEL, CARNAGE, HARVETTE
Tanzel and Omen nodded and then began to lead the II's Reno and Nero down the winding mountain path. Then they took a sharp turn off the path. As they approached the border, their paces quick once out of sight, the stench of blood was obvious. The only reason it had likely gone unnoticed was the distance and the wind direction. If the wind turned on them, it'd be noticed by others soon enough. Tanzel stopped several paces from Siakon's body. It was badly mangled. Omen kept moving forward. Nero looked at his twin and then back at the body with suspicion.
"What makes you think one of our own did this?" He asked first. There were a lot of questions on his mind, but he knew Siakon was family to Omen and Tanzel. The ladies didn't need an overabundance of questions spinning around their heads.
Omen pointed at the body. "T-there, look closely. There's... it's a patch of.." She didn't finish her sentence. Nero raised his paw and moved in to get a closer look. Much to his surprise, there was a small tuft of yellow fur caught in Siakon's claws.
--
Carnage merely nodded his head. "Yeah, why the hyper?" He teased.

Unbeknownst to many, one of the three children of Siakon had just woken up, withing the mountains of Arelth. The matte black dragon was up in a few moments, spreading his wings and looking about for his mother. Large, green cat eyes scanned the earth below as ebony sails spread behind him as dark claws gripped the edge of the outcropping. Silently, the dragon launched off the rock and was a dark shadow in the day's bright sky. At this height, he could be mistaken for many thing and would seem incapable of harm, but he had the eyes of a hawk and could easily perceive the details of all below.
His interest was drawn to those below that were congregating around a dead feline. He dropped in altitude shortly before recognizing what he was seeing. A sharp cry escaped him, shrieking of grief and worry. Mother. Wings folded and tucked to his sides as he dropped into a steep dive, not able to reach Mother fast enough. Wing flared only at the last minute above the tree line slowing him down only enough so that he did not hurt himself. There was nothing stealthy about the usually silent, unseen scaled beast. Another cry came from him as he ran the few steps between himself and Siakon. A shudder passed through him as he pressed his head into cold bloody fur, trying to nudge a response out of her. But it was soon apparent that he would never know her warmth again. Those gathered were hissed at as he laid down beside the body of his mother, putting a wing over her as his eyes turned glossy and strange heaving whines came from the drake. He was crying hysterically by his standards. He could barely draw breath.
Victor watch Friuli play with a grin as Othello perched on his shoulders. A shriek echoed lightly across the area, faded from the distance it traveled. It was certainly not from any feline residing in the pride, so he did not concern himself with it yet.

Reno II, Casey, Diezel, Danika, Ulani, Colton
Reno's ears flicked at Nero's question and he stepped forward himself at Omen's prodding. Only for shock to fill him and his lip to curl back in an open snarl. Yellow fur - no wonder they believed one of their own did this. His head lifted to look at his twin with a narrowed gaze - they'd have to question him soon. And while no words were need to speak between the twins, Reno's maw opened to say something anyway.
Only to be abruptly cut off by a sharp cry in the air.
Reno jerked backwards, his head snapping up before his own call tore from his maw, "GET BACK!" No where near as loud as this beasts cry, but loud enough to hopefully jolt the other three with them into action. Into getting away. Because what they were faced with was beyond them. Reno watched carefully, watched the beast go for Siakon and seemingly... To hold her. His mind flashed back to a different day where three of these things rose in the air, swooping across them from a different scene. Siakon was controlling them? And whatever happened... Had left them with them.
His jaw clenched and he shook his head slightly, a small left and right before he looked back at his brother. For once, he was stumped.
Cyber's head jolted upwards, a short growl rumbling within his throat - but never leaving his maw. He slowly stood, his gaze drifting from the direction the shriek had echoed from to the path that Reno and Nero had taken... To the pride before him. Having dragons in the area was unnerving enough - but they'd only been active once before. Now that wasn't so it seemed. "I want everyone in the dens. Now." Hopefully the tree coverage would help shield them.

NERO II, CALVIN, DAZEON, OMEN, SIAKON, SLAUGHTER, TANZEL, CARNAGE, HARVETTE
The shriek of their 'brother' brought both of the other two wyverns to their feet. They exchanged looks then took to the skies and followed the cries of the drake brother. As soon as they spotted what was wrong, they too let out horrified screeches and came crashing down around their brother and deceased mother.
This scent the felines scattered. Omen and Tanzel and dashed away in a horrified hurried and Nero raced to stick close to his brother. When assured all four of them had made it clear of the dragons, he continued to slowly step back, bristling in alarm and confusion.
--
Slaughter stood upright suddenly, accidentally causing Carnage to wake with a jolt as he stumbled away. The shriek of the monsters had alerted them well before Cyber had. Calvin and Dazeon were both staring off in the direction their lover had gone, a ball of anxiety welling up in both of them. Slaughter raised his tail and nudged his cubs forward, encouraging Time to go as well. "Through the mountain pass and fast, to the dens." He said as he went with them. The majority of the pride should slowly have filled the mountain pass and headed toward the dens.
Though Dazeon and Calvin seemed unwilling to move, stuck to the spot as they looked on at where they had seen Nero vanish last.
--
Nero looked at his brother. "They might contaminate what little evidence we have." He growled. Omen and Tanzel exchanged horrified glances. Nero looked back at the dragons and raised his voice. "UH... DRA.. .." He paused. How /does/ one address dragons? How did Siakon do it? He looked at Reno.

Reno II, Casey, Diezel, Danika, Ulani, Colton
Ulani jolted upwards with a surprised cry of her own at the sharp echoing sounds, having been startled from sleep when Colton stood abruptly, nudging her to her paws at his father's words. She stumbled, still trying to regain whereabouts of her surroundings when she finally shook her head clear. "What was that?"
Colton, wide-eyed, shook his head. "Just move, Uli."
Diezel, Casey and Danika startled from their own sleep, pushed up on their paws to view what was going on only to realize that it was not as close as they had thought. They looked at Cyber upon hearing his orders but stayed for a moment longer when they realized Dazeon and Calvin weren't moving.
Cyber growled again, more loudly this time. He leaped from the rock he was on to land a short distance away from Calvin and Dazeon in particular. He knew they were close friend of Nero and would be concerned, but he would have none of it. "I said move to the dens. That does not exclude you." His gaze turned to the other three. "You too. All of you."
'Children.' Thought they could do as they pleased. "Reno, Nero, and your mothers will be fine." Danika hesitated for a moment, but she was worried about her mother - her seemingly only last member of her family with her sister currently MIA. Diezel and Casey however, remained put for a moment longer. They wouldn't move unless their respective siblings did. And Cyber wouldn't be leaving them on their own, this they knew from the slowly growing annoyance in his gaze.
Reno glanced back at his brother and shifted on his paws for a moment, "We still saw the yellow fur. Four of us did. But you're right." And then he caught his twin's second look. His entire visage deadpanned back at Nero. Was he supposed to know how to speak to them any more than Nero himself did? But he shifted, gauging the distance between themselves and the dragons - it only take a few leaps for them to get into the narrow passage ways of the mountains where it seemed the dragons were too big to fit(possibly?). But it depended on how fast the dragons were compared to them. Things they never knew. Still... Best to just treat them... As normally as possible. Reno grimaced at the thought. "Dragons. We can see you suffer - but we need to find who killed her. Please, let us take a look at her." It was unfortunate they showed themselves now, but Reno hoped it would work.
