Erebus wrinkled his nose at his siblings, and at Jubilee's 'No Man Get's Left Behind' statement, it they could at least wait and keep Kasumi company. "Serves you right Kasumi, you shouldn't have been so close."
He wasn't the most helpful of siblings, but then again maybe he was the more logical. There was no way he and Jubilee could free their brother, not to mention waking up their mother while she slumbered might not be such a grand idea either. Sitting he merely blinked at his trapped brother, watching as Yasbi slowly started to stir awake, he was about to get up and leave when the dark shadow crept up and blocked out the sunlight.
The voice that followed calmed Erebus' sudden rapid heart beat, before he could answer Yasbi spoke and he nodded agreement. "I told Kasumi and Jubliee to be quiet." It came out a mumble before he shuffled to his paws so he could move closer to the entrance, the den lost it's spaciousness once Kardei showed up and Erebus had no intentions on being the next one trapped.

Yasbi Neko, Kardei Kain, Deimus II
Yasbi snorted at her daughter's protest. The girl was far too kind at this particular moment. She'd learn how to boss them around soon enough instead of help them out. Males around Asylum deserved what they get - and Lord knows if Deimus and those sons of his ever heard that little thought, they'd be on her like snakes. And then Kasumi opened his mouth to give more excuses and she sighed. "Maybe you should have thought of that before you wiggled underneath, hmm?" She stated teasingly, but none the less lifted her head and nudged Kasumi, rolling him off her paws.
Kardei shook his head, his eyes following all of them as they each spoke their turn. Monsters, all of them in their own ways were pure monsters. He'd enjoy watching them grow. Golden eyes flicked up to Yasbi without replying to their children, silently questioning her and she nodded her reply, slowly standing and stretching as she did so. And then he glanced down once more. "There'll come a day when silence will be needed but it's not today Erebus. Why don't you go find your brothers, eh?" It was easy to know whom liked to be in crowds and whom didn't. The twins were at the top of those who disliked crowds list and Kardei lifted his paw to make it easier for Erebus to travel outside.
His gaze flickered to Jubilee "You wanna ride on dad's back again?" There was something he'd always favor in regards to his little daughter that was for sure.
Yasbi smiled softly and then lifted her nose to nudge Kasumi, her head tilting slightly to ask him the same question. They were going outside again today
Deimus II narrowed his gaze further and shifted, readying himself if Oliver was going to go and harass father. If there was anything that had been made clear as they grew up was that Oliver was always the rebel of the lot of them, but Deimus would always end up fighting for what he believed was right - and part of that was to not bother mother and father. Not for selfish ways at least. Something that would probably change the older he grew.

Oliver
If not the rebel then he sure as hell knew how to strike nerves. It appeared Oliver found some sort of mild enjoyment in pushing his boundaries; with both his siblings and his parents. As his brother slightly shifted, Oliver mildly tensed. Eyes narrowed momentarily before ears flattened. For a moment they stood that way. It was like a staring contest, or the beginnings to a brawl at the very least. And then.. He was off. Oliver made a break for the den, dashing off from Deimus and bee-lining it straight for their father.

Jubilee Her happy-go-lucky mood became somewhat dampened with Erebus's words- she had only been trying to help, which her brother seemed very keen on not doing. However, she soon brightened up once more when her father spoke. A wide smile spread across her tiny maw, eyes brightened with excitement. "Yes!"
Running over to Kardei in all her excitement, she didn't even notice the small rock before her. Her back leg caught the rock, forcing her body to topple downward, face-planting. A few quiet seconds passed before Jubilee was up as if nothing had happened- her smile still wide, though her face looked a bit dirtier than before, as well as some added scratches. Nothing would keep her from a ride on father's back, nor faze her from her goal.
Once she got to father's feet, she waited patiently for him to lower himself. Once he had done that, she would climb his neck and rest right at the top of his head, in between his ears. Seeing Oliver, she guessed he was up to his usual antics, but still waved to him regardless.

Those words didn't fall on deaf ears, Erebus' duel color eyes looked up at his father with great appreciation before he nodded and stood to scurry away from the den. He enjoyed the company of the family, at times it became to much, he hadn't left the den to far behind before he spotted Oliver running towards him. Bristling on reaction, it was more of an act of frustration, he just couldn't escape his rowdy siblings, especially brothers.
Not being one for violence, defiantly not when one hasn't had breakfast, Erebus scrambled to the side to get out of the way and have no part in what was happening so early in the morning. Sitting off in a patch of grass he blinked away from the den and tried to spot Deimus, he was the only one not around, though he couldn't be to far behind after Oliver.

Kasumi only pouted as his mother teased him before finally lifting her head and was nudged over her paws. Kasumi rolled and flopped on his belly he shook his head glancing back at his mother "Ah gee thanks mom." he mumbled before scrambling to his paws and headed out of the den to do his business, returning soon after just as Jubilee climbed on their father's head. Kasumi's head cocked sideways with a bit of a questioning look, where they going somewhere today? He didn't remember being told about this family trip but wither way he was itching to go where ever his family was.
He then felt another nudge from behind from his mother once more and he quickly squirmed his way up on his mother's back once she lowered herself for him to do so. "So where are we going today?" Kasumi asked as he flopped on his belly letting all four limbs just hang off his mother's sides.

Yasbi, Kardei, Deimus II
Deimus' lips curled back, fangs flashing as he lunged in front of his brother's path, readying himself for impact unless somehow Oliver miraculously stopped. But it wasn't long after he'd made his own move that he felt himself swept up into the air. By his father's overly large paw.
Kardei chuckled at his daughter's enthusiasm and felt warmth flood him at Erebus' gratefulness. They were young, incredibly so, but being their children allowed them measures of comprehension that one wouldn't think possible. Yasbi and himself didn't mind in the slightest however as he turned around after his son out of the den. And it was the fact that they were so little was what enabled Kardei to be able to realize what was going on so swiftly. He'd turned around the moment he'd had little Jubilee on his back, and in milliseconds caught sight of Oliver making a beeline for the den and Deimus lunging into his path. Eye twitching, his paw shot outwards to yank the twin into the air before setting him down besides Erebus and Deimus did nothing. He did not even look back up at his father as he sat down beside his twin as if he'd been there the entire time. Oliver, on the other paw, got a narrowed-eyed look, warning and questioning at the same time from Kardei before the large male continued to make his exit. "What's going on with you two?" He asked Deimus and Oliver, his tone holding a hint of the consequences to come.
Yasbi's maw had turned up into a smile at her daughter's antics before her attention was caught by Kasumi. "To a new place." She told him, her tone holding a hint of playful mystery as she followed Kardei out with her son snuggled on her back. But she'd bumped into his backside before she made it far - and it was only when he moved did she see whom he was questioning. Deimus and Oliver. What had those two gotten up to now?

Oliver
His legs felt as if they were pumping as hard as they could. When Deimus entered his view again, blocking his way, Oliver's legs seemed to pump faster still. He'd go right through him, he didn't care. Yet he was not given the chance. Kardei's paw lifted Deimus up and Oliver tripped over himself as he tried to halt. He tumbled his way into a black furry mess, stilling himself while now on his back. Oliver huffed, paws drawing up to his chest. "Deimus is just being bossy again." The brother pipped, tossing a meaningless glare to his brother. He thought about getting up and making a tackle on him, but Erebus was there and he would either back Deimus or no one at all. Odds that Oliver didn't quite like. He couldn't take them both on. So instead he settled with a bratty exposure of his tongue.

Jubilee The young Neko-Kain nestled herself in her father's mane, feeling warm and fuzzy. She watched silently as Erebus jumped out of Oliver's way while Deimus jumped into his way. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at this. Jubilee knew they had their differences, but she wished they would just get along. Although, just as soon as she thought that, their father swept Deimus up, causing her to smile though she did her best to hide it.
She wondered if Deimus was mad, seeing that he was completely still and silent. She raised herself slightly, trying to get a closer look at the twins. When they were right by each other it was a bit harder to tell them apart, however you could tell with the way they acted at times. Then again, silence for either of the twins was hardly abnormal. Oliver's words, however, angered Jubilee- laying the blame completely on Deimus was unfair and she couldn't stand for it. "It's your fault too, Oliver!" She didn't exactly yell it, but it was clear for all to hear as well as enough anger backing it to get the message across.
Her flash of anger could startle the others, or perhaps shock them, as she had never been legitimately angry with a sibling- or even expressed such feelings- before this. She huffed then, nestling further into her father's mane. Hiding her face from view, slightly embarrassed by her outburst. She was more curious about this "new place" that mother spoke of, however, and hoped to get there soon.

Quick post since I'm on my computer anyway checking things.
Kasumi scrunched up his nose at his mother's reply about this 'new place' why must grown ups keep things secret! "But what's so new about this place? Does it have scary looking trees that will reach out and grab you?! Oh or maybe giant snakes that can swallow an elephant in one bite?!" he questioned as he wiggled around on his mother's back eager for an answer. Though his questions seemed to be on hold as his bothers were arguing again over something Kasumi was unaware of.
The dark grey cub huffed as each of them had their own words to spat out, even Jubilee was voicing her own thoughts. Kasumi frowned at his brothers, "Can't you guys just make up so we can go already?"

Erebus
Erebus only huffed at everyone, rolling his eyes, sibling banters were common among the young family, and the young cub was already irritated. It was too early for all this arguing and bickering, and he continued to sit quietly, ears flicking back and forth. Whatever this new place was it seemed like it was going to have to wait until his brothers were under control.

Yasbi, Kardei, Deimus II
Yasbi's eyes narrowed and she briefly wondered how her mother ever dealt with eight cubs in a litter. Five was such a paw-full. But she took in what happened, her ears perked a top her head as she stared down at the little ones on the ground. And then she sighed inaudibly through her nose. Her maw opened to speak - and then Jubilee jumped in. Eyes shot wide in surprise as she stared at her daughter on Kardei's back... And then her head jerked around to look at Kasumi. What on earth?
"That's enough. All of you." Deimus had not said a word of course, but he was still tossed quite the look. As was Erebus at his little huff. "Jubilee." Yasbi's voice called out to her daughter slightly sharply and she nudged her little daughter. "You're the only girl and are by far, above that. Don't join your brothers petty arguments. And you, Kasumi. Let your father and I handle it." Her voice was still calm, but definitely held hints of warning.
Then her gaze fell on Oliver with a narrowed look. "What have I told you, Oliver? Creatures react to one another. It was as much as your fault - whatever it was - as it may have been Deimus'. Now, we've little time to spare and a place to go to. I've told you this - get over your differences and figure out if you want a ride or you want to walk." And she stepped past Kardei out into the open as she approached the path that they'd hidden from the cubs to keep them from wondering off.
"As for where we're going... We're going home." She breathed out as she looked out into the horizon.

Oliver
His response after that was a scrunched nose and furrowed brows. Yet being one so young, his attention span took a complete 180 and his ears perked. "Home?" Mother's statement was rather confusing. Weren't they already home? Wasn't being here with family home? Curious eyes skidded from sibling to sibling, even Deimus with their meaningless spat now forgotten, in hopes that perhaps they figured out the answer before he could. Oliver would never be good at problem solving that was for sure. It was apparent he'd be a creature of great brawn but not the brain to match. "Sooo, where is this new home? Are there others there? Is it far? How long will it take?" He stood now and began walking in answer to the walk or be carried question.

Jubilee When her mother called out her name, she looked up with a guilty expression. "Yes, mother." She nodded obediently and nestled back into her father's mane. Ears flicked curiously at the the mention of "home". This caused her to raise her head yet again, and listened as Oliver fired several questions at mother and father.
Since Jubilee and her siblings had only known the cave and surrounding area as home, she guessed the cave had been temporary to her parents. "Is this new home where you're from?" She wondered aloud, not sure why else Yasbi would call it a home- surely her mother was familiar with it. The more she thought about it, the more obvious her answer seemed to her. Perhaps she didn't need to ask it after all.

Kasumi of course turned to his mother as she spoke his name but quickly averted his eyes "sorry mom." he muttered and let the adults handle the siblings problem. The brief spat was soon over with as Yasbi mentioned going home and like the rest Kasumi was a bit confused but excited about her statement but decided to let his siblings ask the questions while he wiggled around on his side trying to bat at his own tail while still trying to keep his balance on top of his mother's back.
Kasumi waited till Yasbi was done answering his siblings questions before asking his own, "So... no scary tree monsters then?" he asked referring to his earlier questions.
