Najisi Kain Naji smiled as they all acknowledged what she said. They WERE family. A strong bond between them all. They were much more than what had originally been planned. More than a group focused on bringing down Meur's leads. Naji had honestly given that up. They were not a band of traitorous scum. They were a pride! "As you all may noticed. Two of our own are missing. Three if you count Zenith. Hajime was an ally. Jericho was our own. I sent them on a mission but it was interrupted by battle. They were infiltrating Meurtrier on my behalf. To arrange a meeting with Carnal and Osic. On Neutral grounds away from both homes. Now we have no way to reach them. We can send scout parties but they could just as easily fall. Sending a lone spy into the Veldt is a death sentence right now. So.. How can we gather intel without the risk of losing family? How can we keep in contact with parties sent out for various things?" She said pacing slightly. Not out of agitation, but simply to help her speak. She took a breath and smiled. Then made a loud roar. The bellow scared a local population of sparrows from the surrounding trees. The queen then pointed up at the fleeing avians. A smirk on her face. "Birds. Not simple sparrows of course. Smart birds. Hawks and falcons and eagles. They all have intelligence to be trained. They can be our messengers. If any can speak our language, all the better. They are everywhere. Abundant, and native to many of the lands in this world. A way to gather in-tell and keep in touch with scouts, spies, hunters and even allies. Many of you know how fast flying can be. A bird of prey will be insignificant to most." She said. She then gave a specialized chuff. A phoenix soon appearing on her back. She and Reno had bonded with a pair. It was they that gave them the knowledge to pass to the pride and help them train these birds. "The Phoenix have given us the knowledge to help and train them. It is an experiment, but I hope it goes well. " |

Both watched, both nodded. Yasbi spoke. "Its a brillianr idea. Actually... Najisi, I'm sorry to bring this up now, but do you remember Yokoshima? They were apt creatures in bonding with birds. It would certainly help us. And also... I must voice my concerns regarding sending a bird this late to contact our brother. Anyone could see... And he also wouldn't know what to make of it or what to do as he wouldn't have had this training. Our brother is smart, of course.... But..." She flancrd at the bird. "I have my doubts." Cyber looked at Yasbi curiously, then gently laid his tail on her flank in sympathy regarding Jericho.
