The Hallowess couldn't help but become curious about the lands that Meurtrier and Jaaku once shared after the Great Drought in Shadow Veldt. Of course, it had been a long time ago, but that did not mean that it'd be too late to find it. After finding another way in, Caylis slinked into the Canyon, what a beautiful sight! She looked up to the throne in awe, though she knew that she couldn't be here for long. The current Meurtrier needed her. "Perhaps.. it'll be alright if I stay for a little bit." she said to herself before walking along the Sakura Grove, climbing up one. She took in the sweet scent and purred before leaping from tree to tree and lay down on one, head on her paws.

Caylis's ears pricked as she sniffed the air, noticing the new, unfamiliar scent, she lifted her head slowly before turning her head towards the scent and went to follow it. A feline.. a Donovan. She tilted her head, what would a Donovan be doing here? She quickly zoomed from tree to tree and crouched down by a branch that was some ways above Despair's head. "You seem to be quite the watcher. Why are you not a spy of some sort? The name's Caylis." she said calmly, not revealing her pride information.. that was all she said. This male could be of La Morte for all she knew, she blinked before waiting to see how he would react.

The blood red female had taken her time walking around. She had returned with her father and son not too long ago to Meurtrier but she would make no allegiance to them quite yet. After all, she had murdered two members on their lands - and she hasn't the slightest idea if they remembered that or not. Truth be told she shouldn't have returned at all, but her father - one of the creatures she had brutally murdered - or /thought/ she'd murdered, had insisted. She had saved his life, according to him, and she found that odd. However curiosity lead her to wander once more. DarkStar wouldn't be pleased but she didn't really care. However voices caught her attention and her mind was wiped clean of other thoughts. DarkMoon cockles her head and trailed closer - not even bothering to hide. After all - red pelts weren't easy to hide anyway.
However what she saw when she trailed closer was the furthest thing from her mind. It couldn't be true. There was no way that what she was seeing was true. Despite the dark female that spoke to him, and drew her attention in the first place - her bright blue eyes remained on the male figure who was casually laying there as if he hasn't a care in the world - and he probably didn't. But she had not seen him in so long... Was it really... "Despair?"

DarkMoon's heart nearly shattered as he stuttered. Good God when was the last time she had seen him? When was the last time they had hung out together? It had been many many moons, that she knew without a doubt. She tried to take another step forward but her limbs locked on her, and then buckled, forcing her to sit down. She remembered when they were little, they player together so often - and Despair had always been her favorite brother, there was no hiding that. She choked out a gasp. "Despair... Is it really you?" The words were so soft, but even with asking that she knew it wasn't false. This was him. His looks and all. She felt the rush of adrenaline and then launched herself forward, without waiting for much of a reply. "Despair!"

At this points, all events considering, I'd assume this rp was before DM, DS, and Donato got to Meur/before the chase/before everything current - and definitely before Kodi/DM xD DarkMoon
To her, the black female behind her brother had disappeared all together. She wasn't responding to them, more likely just watching the reunion, so she ignored her. A deep purr erupted from the back of her throat, her body shaking with the motion as she pressed against her brother happily, rubbing her pelt against his in pure joy, breathing his scent in. "Despair, Despair, Despair." She murmured at first, then after a moment stepped back a large grin spreading across her face. "It has been far, far too long! I've missed you so freaking much, too! I've been with Dad and my son, Donato. We'd been kind of just traveling around a bit before they both convinced me to go back to Meurtrier, but we still haven't quite gotten there yet. I've left them a day ago to get a bit more wandering back in before we settle there." She looked up at him, her eyes shining brightly. "What about you? What have you been up to?" Once more she pressed against his side. |

DarkMoon laughed a bit, but didn't bother apologizing, she knew he didn't care at all that she'd spilled a mouthful within seconds. She did slow down though when she responded the second time. "I'd honestly prefer to be a wanderer then to settle down. I enjoy it but Dad and Donato really wanna go back there so I don't complain. Dad's been... Good. He's sane compared to when he blew his top all those moons ago. And you should see Donato, Despair, he's so big now!" She shook her head, one of the biggest smiles still upon her features. "You should come with for a bit, just to see them again." DarkMoon suggested gently. She didn't want to push him afterall. |

DarkMoon pressed her head under Despairs chin, a soft purr escaping her now. "I can understand that. And I've heard that Meurtrier is pretty riled at the moment. And peace and quiet has always been far better than the on the go life." She pulled back and looked at him. "Just don't take too long. I'm sure Dad misses you just as much as I do too."
