Alfwin slowly regain consciousness, having had a less than desirable rest. He felt stiff and sore, but his shoulder did not throb as it did before. Eyes opened and his head lifted from the ground to look about and see what was going on. His head was fuzzy right and he could hardly think straight. From what little he could tell, he was alone. Slowly, he rose to his feet and inspected his shoulder. It did not look as swollen as before, but he still could not put much weight on his left front leg.
The young demonic mix did his best to stretch, gritting his teeth through the pain as he forced his muscles on his left side to behave. He rose to his feet, a bit unsteady and shook his dark, auburn mane from his face. Viciado may have told him not to leave the den, but he was both thirsty and hungry, thus he began to limp toward the exit. He also wanted the trinket from the battle he had left in his den. While he may not have showed it at all, he was quite unhinged.

At the break of dawn Funeral would finally move - his body locking up slightly, feeling as though he'd been down for months rather than just minutes to hours. He gave Odysseia a look of momentary gratitude before heading to where others were gathering.
Upon entering the scene, the King would find his place at the outer rim of where Static's body lay. He disclosed nothing as his dark emerald gaze was stuck on the body of his granddaughter. It was as though an overlay of shadow was folding itself out across his expression and very eyes that suddenly seemed barely able to be read.
"Static was...," He began, choosing his words carefully. "a remarkable addition to Meurtrier's ranks. It is unfortunate her life ended so abruptly." But such in the life of this pride, especially during times of war. Shit happens. But he held that part back.
He didn't doubt this would effect all of the pride, related or not. But it went to show that tragedies did happen. He kept himself still and stationary, dipping his head low in respect for the deceased.

Kazbek & Circa
Kazbek sighed as he lay in his den, frowning slightly at the thought of yesterday's troubles. A Spy dead... A person lost, bad news for them, and the mystery was still yet unsolved of who her killer was. If only he knew... He would take them like he took the La Morte warrior; he would have sought revenge. But alas, they may never know now, and annoyance prickled at his fur. He was more than tired of laying still and thinking of nothing but sadness and anger, he had to move.
Slowly, he wriggled his way out of his cramped den, stretching before cringing as he stretched too far for his belly's comfort. His blues landed on Carnal's den, and he slowly made his way towards it. He gently lay down in front of the entrance, and lay his head inside, peering at her in the darkness. "Hey... You alright?" He mewed, unsure of what else to say... Kaz only knew that it was very likely that the death was affecting her too.
Meanwhile, outside, Circa had come from her post not too far away to pay her respects. It was a shame that she was lost... And at such a troubling time, it made the lioness's heart drop. She, Osic, and Carnal were the ones that helped try to find her killer... But to no avail. Had Static died in vain? She shook away the bleak thought, but sighed as she turned to return to her spot in front of Osic's den. She lay there, obviously awake and vigilant, but with her head on her paws, the dreary tone for the day taking a subtle toll on her.

Alfwin narrowed his eyes as the others gathered at the opening, withholding a growl as he moved past those mourning the dead. However, his bright eyes did roll. He had not known her, and he could hardly be called caring or considerate. He did have a spark of compassion, but it had been suffocated by depression and rage, along with a previous underlying mental instability that was surfacing as he grew into adulthood. He took a step back as two monstrously sized youths passed him by, Dante, and Caspian, following their mother. He tilted his head, but continued to limp toward his den, catching the Eye of Adelaide as the tigress walked by. She brushed against him gently and dropped the capibara she had been toting off in front of him as she went to seek out Raegan.
Alfwin grasped the dead creature and stalked into his den, grateful for the food and the female's calm acceptance. He would not be above growling at anyone who called upon him in his den or attempted to reprimand him.
Dante found the demonic known as Alfwin more than a little strange. But there were many things he found odd within Meurtrier and Jaaku. He looked over his shoulder and watched as Caspian left and sought out Casper. He shrugged and instead moved close to examine the body, a gaze full of curiosity, rather than respect and sorrow.
Jasper slowly alighted on the ground behind his mate, quite, but not silent. He brushed his head against her flank and wrapped his tail about her, looking to Caspian and Casper. "How are you two?" he asked, seeing as they had never experience the death of a pride mate. He knew well what Dante was thinking, considering his scientific style of thinking. Caspian and Casper were much quieter and he was not able to spend as much time around them as he would have wished. He followed his family away and flicked his tail against Dante so he would stop staring at the corpse. The red male followed, a bit reluctantly, causing Jasper to hide a smile.

CARNAL, ASESINO, CASPER
[/i] He turned to look at Caspian to see what his brother had said or done. Meanwhile Cocaine, had bowed his head in respect before his gaze fell on Caspian and Casper. He should find more time to spend with them both.. Carnal lifted her head and looked at Kazbek. She offered a shrug. "I guess. Are you?"She asked.[/ul][/blockquote]
