The red female bristled as she heard Kalifyne's words saying that Taylor was her brother. She shivered at the thought of killing a figure who raised you up. Rose sighed at Katil and nuzzled her before nodding in agreement, looking up to her brother with a serious gaze. "I understand, dear brother. What's the plan, if I may ask?" she said with her claws unsheathed, that fool would pay the price.

Blues blazed fire as she lashed her tail angrily, and to think that they were related?! She growled. "How dare he?" she hissed to the sky.

Affiliation, yes, but not affinity. She bristled a little too as she watched the others react to this news. "Unfortunately," she sighed as she started to turn around. She realized after a few moments that this meant these guys were her relatives. Though she didn't consider herself much of a Donovan, she felt sick at the idea of Taylor taking advantage of their cousin. She shuddered before stepping back. "Your sister needs you here. I couldn't possibly ask you to do such a thing. This is my vendetta. This is the reason I left Meurtrier." Kalifyne's expression grew dark as she avoided eye contact and looked to the side. "I've waited my whole life for this." A growl boiled within her, hatred searing at her chest. She still felt the urge to cry out of pure frustration, but she would hold it back for the sake of the situation. If she was about to do this, there was no room for tears. For a moment, she thought about her family. Oh right..She had one of those now. She couldn't just go off risking her life and whatnot, she had cubs to take care of! She supposed it would be a bit selfish of her to leave Fracture with all of them. But.. Ah.. They needed to toughen up. She could take care of herself anyway. And if worse came to worst, she didn't feel especially useful in the pride. None of them liked her anyway. They all thought she was fat and ignorant, when it was truly quite the contrary. But this.. This was her calling. This was her redemption. Kali gritted her teeth, conflicted at the situation. No. Not anymore. She had responsibilities. If she went alone, there was good chance she would never see her children grow up. Such great fortune had come to her in the past season, and she would not throw that away like the creature she once was. After a good bit of consideration, she quietly gulped and nodded her head reluctantly. "I'd like to resign my death sentence. He won't be getting this one."

[/i] Asesinato said. He turned to Kali. "I'm glad that you've made that decision. Now.." He trailed on as they moved away and sat down. "Tell me everything there is to know about Taylor. Anything you know will be helpful in executing him." Asesinato said sternly. He understood that Kali wanted to be the one to take her brother down; he could feel it. But he also wanted revenge. Taylor had violated his sister. Perhaps they could reach an agreement of some sort.

Anne remained with Katil and continued to groom her sobbing sibling. "Shh, dear, you're safe. You did not deserve what has come to you."[/ul][/blockquote]

Katil Donovan

As the group left, her head sunk onto Anne gently, and her sobbing slowly started to dumb down as she lay, listening to her sister's words and rasping over her ears. It was a sort of relief to know the job was soon to be done, but she wouldn't be totally relieved until everyone came back safe and unharmed. To her sister's encouraging words, she shook her head as she began to once again close her eyes. "I was naive to think everyone would be so welcoming..." The red female's tired voice trailed out as she finally began to slip into an exhausted sleep, sometimes body still shuddering with the previous sobs as it tried to slip into unconsciousness. She knew her dreams would be no better if she had any; but at least it was an escape. Hopefully by the time she woke, Taylor would be dead, and she could forget his existence completely.

She wasn't aware though, that soon; she wouldn't be able to.
(I'll probably be out until Taylor is dead and we can do a time skip I guess?)

It took Kalifyne a fairly great effort not to rip up the ground with each step she took. She followed after the male and sat down as he did. She ruffled her wings in frustration, staring at the ground for a few moments to think. She tried sorting out what was useful and what wasn't from the little knowledge she possessed, but she came to realize that she didn't have an awful lot to offer.
"I've distanced myself from him for a reason," she muttered dryly. "I know what he looks and smells like, though, and I also know how we can get him." She looked back up at Asesinato, any hints of her kinder emotions and intentions seemed to have gone. "My father was one of the best warriors in our pride and-.." She swallowed. "Anyway, he's very strong and violent and has no honor.. It's a dangerous and deadly combination. We need to trap him. He could easily overtake us in the open." If she had known it would've been any use to them now, she would have observed Taylor more, but that was also dangerous and it couldn't be helped.
"Maybe I could lure him into an ambush.. a cave or something, and.." Kalifyne made a small slashing motion with her claws. She considered this idea. The stakes were high this time, and the plan had to be something that worked. It was dangerous, and it was also easier said than done.

Rose nodded to Kali. "That is a brilliant idea, Kalifyne! Hey, Asesinato, brother. What are your thoughts?" she asked her older brother with a curious tone before her gaze turning red again slowly, she was starting to get hungry though she wanted revenge just like everyone else, she wouldn't let Katil suffer on what she had been through. She unsheathed her claws, walking behind them to guard, she was usually underestimated for her kindness but when she was pissed, it was best to run for the hills.

"I'd hate to leave them here alone, with him out there, but the sooner we track down and kill this bastard, the sooner everyone is safe from one less psychopath in this world. What do you girls say, let's track his ass down and put him in a grave?" [/ul][/blockquote]

[After they agree, we'll fast forward to the ambush if everyone's okay with that.]

Kalifyne prickled with anticipation. Their agreement sparking some sort of dark excitement within her. She looked satisfied as the other two seemed to approve of her input on their method for vengeance. "We have a plan," she said all-too eagerly. She got to her paws quickly. "I'll put on an act.. or perhaps improvise something to get him trapped. Depending on what happens, you know. W-We'll get him where he's vulnerable.. Yes!" Malevolence flared in her eyes for a brief moment. She could feel herself shaking as she stood, the result of anger and anticipation. "For your cousin, sister.. My cousin, and father." She then turned away from them, her eyes drifting to some specks of blood in the grass as she thought about thought about the moment she had waited so long for. Hopefully Taylor wouldn't be suspicious of her. Either way, he would get what was coming to him. What could go wrong?

Rose nodded to Kali. "We have a plan, I assure you everything will go well. Good luck!" she said with a purr, claws unsheathed, reds turning to blacks. This would be very amusing. Turning to her brother, she raised a brow. "Where do we hide, if I may ask?" she asked with a smile.

Today was the day, and this was it. Kalifyned had waited a lifetime to get revenge on her darkened sibling. Anticipation had bottled up inside of her. It simmered, then boiled until she was no longer able to think about their plan without physically shaking. She did so even as she walked down a trail, one she knew led to Taylor. His stench, no doubt. Her ears flattened and her head snapped in the direction of every little noise. She would have to get herself together..
Kalifyne mentally prepared herself for the act. She carefully went over what she would say and how she would act casually. As she nosed her way through some ferns, a black, white, and red figure caught her eye. She turned sharply, suddenly feeling entirely unprepared. She stood rigidly. What was the plan? Were Asesinato and Rose in place like they should be? A few shaky breathes escaped her, and she was sure they wouldn't be her last. She shouldered her way out of the foliage. "T-Taylor?" After finding her voice, she presented herself a little more confidently. Her eyes narrowed slightly. What did he think of her? Would he try anything? She tried to recall the last time they ever spoke, but she couldn't remember if they had ever really been on good terms or not. A simple acknowledgment would have to do for now.
