Project Caliver
Things sure were escalating quickly and going horribly wrong. Project too allowed himself a step back as Carnal seemed to drag her own hide into the mess. The black pelted male pinned his ears and tried not to swallow nervously as the Donovan daughter mentioned them both being pregnant; or acting like it. It teased at his paranoia without mercy. A thought to step in crossed his mind yet the mutt stayed firmly planted where he was. Green's slightly narrowed on Carnal as she, in his opinion, was being quite hypocritical about being proud of lineage and what not. But he said nothing. Posture straightened and ears ran erect as Funeral's presence filled the area.

Crowther shuddered as the females began to roar and screech at each other. He stood up and stepped back, deciding not to take a side or get in the way if they were to butt heads even more. He wasn't sure what to think of either of them, but they had tempers alright. They were all probably pregnant. Every one of these ladies. The growing fury of the situation made Crowther uncomfortable. It reminded him of darker times, and he wanted this to stop. Nothing good ever came out of fighting with each other. He folded his ears back and narrowed his eyes. His expression lightened slightly at the sight of Funeral. A nod was given to the dominant as Crowther remained where he was. Perhaps he should avoid the next commotion that happened, as he didn't want anyone to think he was bad luck. At least he was learning everyone's names.

Her roar must have reached the King's audits cause he showed up not long after her roar had ended. Kimiko calmed down once her blood reds discovered him. Her wings folded and her angry attitude eased. Blood reds turned to Carnal when she opened her mouth again and spit out a rude speech. 'How dares she..' Kimiko's eyes narrowed. She didn't say anything, just listened to the princess and awaited the King's reply.

The King's attention went toward his daughter. He listened keenly on her explanation, and while thinking what she had said over, his gaze once again went to each of those around the area. Favoritism was a subject here, for his daughter was someone within this.. unnecessary argument, as he saw it.
He cautiously assumed that Kimiko's silence either agreed with Carnal's explanation or something else. ...He wasn't sure what. But didn't seem all too happy about it; courtesy of the glare she had given his daughter.
"This is something that doesn't even deserve to be discussed - argued, even - over. A petty thing, this is." He shook his head slightly. "However, to aid Carnal's claim, there would be no need to get your fur on end if her assumption was wrong." His gaze landed upon his daughter, now. "On Kimiko's end, whether or not this assumption provokes someone, there would be no need to antagonize them further. About.. lineage, or whatever else this is about. Which seems nothing short of, quite simply put, stupid. If anything, lineage is the very least of our concerns. If it was so important, Meurtrier would not be intermixed as it is. It does not decide someone's character or ability, nor does it have anything to do with pregnancy.. if at all. If lineage did judge character, a certain female Donovan must learn to know when to stop." His gaze, since darting between them, landed with a glare on his daughter, before switching to Kimiko.
"And a Crimson to know when someone is simply pushing buttons, and nothing more."
He sneered slightly, gaze held between them now. "I apologize to both of you in turn for each other's behavior, since something tells me an apology may not be given between you two easily."

CARNAL DONOVAN

She bowed her head and clamped her jaw tightly shut. Her muscles began to ache from the pressure she applied, and it took a deep breath of fresh air to calm her. "I'm sorry, Funeral." Carnal dared not say father, still bitter inwardly toward him over not siding completely with her; but she should know better. And deep down, she did know better. But the moment was heated and she wanted nothing more than to rub Kimiko's face in a pile of elephant crap. It would take a while for Carnal to let this go. Kimiko wanted to throw a rude reply back to Carnal, but found it necessary to keep her mouth closed since the King,Carnal's father, was present. Her blood reds gazed over at where Project stood. He had not said a word to protect her..again. Kimiko narrowed her eyes in dissapointment before she turned her gaze back to the king.
The coal 'ess kept her silence as the King held his speech. His gaze darted between them. Kimiko didn't say a word, but Carnal added yet another comment after the King had finished. The 'ess wanted to snarl, but kept it back and decided to apologize instead; "I apologize, Funeral". The apologize directed to Funeral, not to his rude little daughter.

The King gave his daughter another quick gaze, giving a simple glare toward her direction before rolling his shoulders. As they apologized, he shook his head, giving a nod to each of them in turn slowly. Disappointment likely leaking off of him, he turned away, calling over his shoulder. "I don't want any more out of you two. Have a good day."

Project Caliver
Emerald's watched Kimiko almost warily. Her sudden narrowed glare held in confusion. What had he done that was so deserving of her hateful looks? Project let his gaze flicker to Funeral as the large black brute turned to leave. Then he looked to the dominants daughter, once her father left would she dare say something else? At this point Project wanted to depart himself, but he still needed to talk to Kimiko. He still needed to know how she felt about "them". He was just hoping that she wasn't the type of female that just assumed mating once meant mating forever.

Neo was not the type to intervene during a quarrel usually, unless it was his brother trying to kill someone he should not. The behavior between Kimiko and the other females would have been no exception. However, when funeral's voice emerged, he rose and walked over. His eyes were almost closed as he approached his granddaughter. "Kimiko," he grumbled, obviously none too pleased about getting up. His wing moved slightly as he loomed over those gathered. While Carnal had likely instigated it, he assumed Kimiko was too sensitive. "Don't let cur get under your fur. Bloodlines and last names don't really matter. She's only got her fame because her daddy and great grandfather. She's done nothing to prove herself. That is why you must be better than her. It shouldn't be hard." He shrugged his wings. "Overreacting does not become you. I've gained respect because people fear me due to my usual silence and nonchalance." He looked about for Jasper. He was better at saying these things than he was.
