Rose roared and attempted to slash his eyes so that he couldn't see temporarily and bolted off into the ash, she needed to hide and protect her cubs, perhaps heal the wounded and the injured, she lashed her tail. Though she would fight if she had to, where was uncle Gatsby?! Was he hurt? Was he coming with Edmund and the reinforcements? With that, she hid low into the ash, she was scared.. scared for her pride's safety but she could do nothing, her children depended on her!
Influence lunged forward and bashed into Caylis with a snarl ripping from his throat, biting at the back of her neck, wings trashing, he slammed a paw towards Caylis, sending her flying across the clearing. Caylis kept her footing and charged towards him with electricity forming in her paw and when she hit him.. BAM! He was sent flying but he flapped and soared through the air, letting out a thunderous roar.
Caylis's wounds from the fight between Bacardi and Draco reopened again, she shook her head, blood splattering the ash ground, though it was no big deal. No matter! She would DIE for her pride! With that, she was at Circa's aid. "When you need me, I'll be here, Captain Circa! I promise!" she said with a determined grin. And with that, she stood guard in front of Circa, someone could kill Brynneth, though who would it be? She couldn't just stand here, and with that, she observed her foes.. Slaughter seemed like a good one. With that, she zoomed up and attempted to land on his back, claws unsheathed and teeth shown, she wanted to get a good grip on him. If that didn't work, she would attempt to dodge and get off him then prepare another strategy.
The grey 'ess just lay there, pinks widened in an icy calm.. this was it.. she knew she was going to die.. she just knew it. No matter.. she just closed her eyes and blocked out the noises while flattening her ears, she took a deep breath and let whoever would kill her.. do so...

The wanderlust gripped her as did the inexhaustible energy cubs naturally maintained, and though she was smart enough to keep out of trouble, she was also smart enough to slip out of safety and go out for a play.
As the dens became further and further away, she caught the distant--and admittedly scary--sounds of aggression. For a moment she would falter in her steps, sure that what lay ahead was some sort of wraith or creepy ghost that would steal her soul--and she admittedly wasn't exactly that far off.
Unfortunately, fear was overridden by a curiosity all too strong, and she would come closer.
Within sight now, she could see the flurry of furious movement, and the aggressive sounds became clearly that of fighting felines--why? Was it play? No, they definitely looked angry. Still she was confused, and within the writhing she could see her mother, Najisi--and took a step forward, only to retreat two and hide behind a small ashen mound. Could she reach her--?
Audits flicked back against her neck.

Alfwin's shoulders began to shudder as his rage grew and his pupils dilated further. He focused only on his mother with such an intensity it was frightening. Even in the tense silence, his chest began to rumble. Her words reached his ears and his head jerked to the side, jaws clashing together, eyes wild, but never leaving her form. "How dare you! COWARD! YOU ALWAYS RUN!" he roared, lunging forward right as the red male shouted for an attack. It did not matter who stood before him as he made a bee line for his mother. Anyone going for him would be dodged or shoved right before he crashed into his mother. His wrath burst from him in a terrible roar. Despite his youth, he was well trained, and unlike his mother, life burned in him like a forest fire. He likely would have no issues overpowering her. He stood over his mother, the female who brought him into the world. It seemed like he was hesitating, but really, he wanted to make sure she knew who was taking her from the world and why. "You don't deserve to die. But if I don't do it now, somebody else will," he snarled, voice colder than ice, showing the depth of his hatred. With no warning, he plunged his fangs down, into his mother's throat and bit down with all the force he could muster, readjusting his fangs a few times, just slightly so that he could go deeper into her neck until he could break her head loose from the body. He had no idea why he was so intent on this, but until he heard the snap of the spine, he did not relent.
The demonic's head lifted triumphantly, roaring again, face coated in his kin's blood as he sought his next target.
Sardon's fur stood on end, his excitement almost tangible as he darted forward. His sickly eyes flashed with glee at the command. He saw the second female going for Slaughter and zeroed in on her, the adrenaline high practically giving him wings. He lunged for the female with the tan pelt, only intending to side swipe her with his claws. He wanted to draw her attention first. He would land not too far off, whipping about to face her.
Victor and Jasper chit-chat half a mile off in the canyon, plotting shit. And Jasper flies off. And Victor run to La Morte's aid. Evil super hero.... THEY AREN'T INVOLVED YET. Just present.

Najisi Kain Najisi's fur stood on end when Reno yelled attack. She was about to help him with Circa but Yasbi stopped her. She gave Yas a nod and waited. Bryn was killed in this moment. Her heart sank a little. She had wanted to take Bryn, alive. No one deserved a death like that.. Her eyes locked on Bryn's murderer. She was unsure if she even wanted to challenge him. She wanted to help Reno, but he could likely take Circa.. They'd have to match them member for member to keep them from getting past to the cubs. A noise behind her caught her attention and she just saw the faint blur of a cub dive behind a rock. Too much commotion to tell who's cub. But she was torn. If she retreated, she'd bring attention to Meur's eyes. Someone could notice and dive after her or the cub. But if she dove into the fray.. The cub would be open and exposed.. Najisi was in a dangerous predicament. She was hesitating. Showing weakness. Her mind raced to come to a conclusion. She decided to move toward the rock. To position herself between the fight and the rock, hopefully until Yasbi or someone could take it back to the nest. Her guard up, Claws extended. Asera Just posting where currently. She is at the den, away from the battle for now. Will become involved should it go that far. |

The red ess roared as Reno called for attack and lunged towards her- it was on. Her paws flung out in front of her as she too leaped into the air to meet him, claws fully unsheathed. No fear was shown, no thoughts besides what her claws an teeth were doing surfaced, she was in full focus- and fully prepared to meet the red beast face to face now, as her pride members lunged for those around her.
Their bodies crashed, and Circa immediately did all she could to sink her long claws into the ex meurtrians body.
Meanwhile, Edmund had finally reached camp and was at the base of the throne, hollering with his green optics wide. "Lord Funeral, Commander Cocaine, Circa needs help in Volcano... We found Brynneth..."
(short, done on phone, didn't wanna miss action ;.; )

COCAINE, CARNAL, ODYSSEIA {MEURTRIER} RENO, SLAUGHTER, KRANKHEIT {LA MORTE}
[/i] He yowled and threw himself into the battle at once. So many targets, but he only desired one: Najisi. Cocaine barreled for her, and wouldn't let anyone get in his way. Loud huffs, vicious snarling and he rammed at her head on. No claws, no teeth, just a slam-roll straight into La Morte's queen. If he hit her, he'd immediately begin to slash his claws at her. But Krankheit was nearby, and he had sworn to help aid the queen. He leaped at Cocaine but instead was met by the claws of Carnal. "Where's your daddy, princess?" He snapped and then clawed at Carnal's face. She screamed in response and took to the air with Krankheit, both of them fighting wildly with rage. This left Cocaine and Najisi alone. Odysseia was going to turn away from Slaughter and Caylis, but she was met with another figure. She spat in anger and lashed at out the male (Sardon) with her fore-paws as fiercely as she could. Slaughter was on a one-way track to Rose, and Odysseia prayed that Rose could handle herself. Slaughter continued to try and shake off those near him and then spotted Rose. He leaped at her, claws extended and aimed to land a blow to her side.[/ul] (Cocaine and his troops are there now. The fight should be relatively equal. Just keep it up!)[/blockquote] |

It was their way of life, and especially that of one descended of Meurtrier and its conflicts.
Still, seeing someone... beheaded, was a complete and utter shock considering she had known the feline.
Confused tears leaked from her prisms and she shuddered, her tail coming around to press against her side. Seeing her mother take a stand before her helped ease her marginally, though she could get no more than a small, hushed "Momma--" out before the battle rushed their way.
She could only do what nature suggested, and that was stay quiet, and blend in.

Najisi Kain Najisi saw the brute coming. His scream helped alert her and she was able to dodge, inadvertently getting close enough to the rock to tell it was her cub! She snarled and kept infront of the hidden child. She was terrified. She was supposed to be at the den. She wasn't afraid of Coke. No. She launched at his close form, trying to keep him off her daughter's scent. with distraction. Her claws aimed for his eyes. Before she could get off another attack, a voice, faint and muffled, called to her. Zenith. Her eart sank and she tried to back up to get closer to the rock. To offer her daughter more protection without giving her away. In truth, she wanted to just grab Zenith and flee to the camp. But she couldn't. Her eyes Caught Carnal and she was torn again inside. She was with Meur. But.. Did she hate Najisi? "Krank! No!" She cried out in pure instinct. She didn't want Carnal hurt... But this not only showed weakness, it gave Cocaine a huge opening. |

Najisi Kain The ess felt guilt as Krank came down. She was smacked aside, calws raking her from Coke. Then, her heart shattered. Carnal took off with Zenith. Having been knocked away from Cocaine, she got up and lurched after Carnal. She bellowed out a loud roar, trying to get Reno's attention. No doubt Coke would be upon her fast. But she HAD to get Zenith. "She has Zenith!" She cried out as she desperatly tried to catch her two daughters. She didn't even know what she would do if she caught Carnal. Beg? Just like Brynneth did? She couldn't attack her own daughter.. She just.. couldn't. Maybe.. if she could get Carnal alone... She could get Zenith back. Just.. She just wanted her cub. Just wanted to live in peace. She wanted to explain it all to Carnal.. but she couldn't. Not unless Carnal was alone.. "Carnal... Please.." She called to her, though her voice was meak. She was willing to follow them back to ShadowVeldt if she had to. Even if she KNEW it'd accomplish nothing but her death, her maternal instincts drove her to try to get Zenith back. |

The troops arrived, and Gatsby stormed in right beside the younger and eager Kazbek. This was his first battle, and damn he was excited- he wanted to rip into every non-meurtrian there; just to show his strength. Meanwhile, Gatsby only focused on business, and looked for the one that would need his help...
Rose? Are you kidding me?. He shot toward her- momentarily colliding with the male that leaped for her (Slaughter) and yowling with annoyance as they tumbled to the ground, roaring to his niece as they went and praying he was audible- "Rose! You shouldn't be here!"
Kazbek scanned the grounds hastily as he looked for a member to leap on; and he spotted Alfwin... With the bod of his mother. "Alfwin, what-" He began, panting from the running and short flight it took to get him here, but he cut himself off- it was obvious this moment was his and his alone, for whatever reason he had, there was no time for questions. A red male (Krankheit) was down from Carnal's slap, so he sought his opportunity. Lifting into the air with his wings, he glided over to land on the male from above.
Sinna cowered in the den as the noise outside thundered with yowls and caterwauls. Something was happening, but she didn't want to know of it, she had found a hiding place between two rocks- and sought to stay there.
Circa is still tumbling with Reno, need a reply from him Kah ;v;

[/i] Snarled Cocaine and he turned to chase Najisi, who was chasing Carnal. And Carnal had a cub, Najisi's cub. Much to Cocaine's surprise, Carnal halted and turned, a paw lashed out at Najisi. Cocaine used to this his advantage and leaped at the queen of La Morte. He aimed to land on her back at the least.[/ul][/blockquote] |

Kazbek yowled harshly as claws sunk into his belly. Nice one, idiot! He cursed as he folded his wings in to make contact with the ground. His paws hit the dirt and swiveled, immediately swerving to face the male head on. He felt his wings slapping into the males face before he saw him, and aimed to lash his unsheathed claws right onto Krank's face.
Gatsby snarled as a claw caught his nose, yet luckily he pulled away quick enough so that the male didn't catch anything else. Now slowly rolling to a stop- he took an opportunity when he rolled to the upper position to snap repeatedly out at the paws that flung at him simultaneously- every so often catching a piece of his fur and face. Out of sheer luck, he veered past the flinging yellow paws and aimed for his fluffy chest.
Circa felt delighted as his blood appeared. Awfully easy, she wondered, but quickly shoved back into focus as she felt her own blood slowly trickling down her face from his flying claws. He tried to get a good hold onto her, but she left her body weave to and fro- away from his reach. However, her own squirming made it harder for her to latch on to him herself, a hiss of annoyance escaped her as claws stuck in and out of her fur repeatedly, vice versa for Reno, as both struggled for a grip. Finally, it only took a moment- Najisi's yell didn't matter to Circa- but it got Reno distracted for one split second of precious time. Kicking away from him, she did a sort of double-back and lunged from a different angle, jaws aimed for the odd target, the back of his neck.

Najisi Kain Najisi stopped when Carnal turned to lash at her. She stopped, only to be landed on by Cocain. She went down under his weight. All she could see was Carnal running with her daughter. Why..? Why did she have to take her cub. No! NO!!! She couldn't handle losing anymore. She couldn't handle watching Zenith be tainted and turned against her like Osic and Carnal were... She had to get her back... Even if it wasn't right now... She was a spy.. She knew the inner workings of ShadowVeldt better than anyone.. She WOULD get her back. "Carnal! No!! Zenith!!!" She cried out as she hit the ground. She almost had no drive to turn and try to fight Coke, but she had to. She had five other cubs to defend.. And she had to get Zenith... She tried to turn under the male and slash at hus underbelly with her hind claws. Tears had already fallen from her eyes. "Get OFF!" |
