Ry tried to think back to how Osic first reacted; if she was entirely honest, that wasn't the first thing that she had noticed. As such, she tried to deliberate on her decision.. and then said her reply going by memory. "He seemed.. surprised I guess. Curious. Had no idea. He seemed to be taking Loth's words to heart after that was all well and explained though. But yes, I don't even recall Lothaire joining our ranks and suddenly there he was there with us, chatting up Osic." She stopped, hoping that explanation was good enough for the Captain to sink into.
He seemed to be restraining a smile though. Ry caught some hint of joy behind his teal eyes, but otherwise it was just still the hard working, loyal orbs as always.
