Takes place in Old and New Greatfalls
Kusa
Kusa had taken a strong liking to the place her brother and she had found - Greatfalls was absolutely beautiful. She'd taken a liking to exploring the lands and this day - with the sun brilliantly high in the sky and the weather beautiful outside - a warmth that soothed her muscles as she continued to explore, finding new areas, shady spots, places where prey thrived. And then she crossed a place she'd yet to see. A place of rocks that she'd not seen the likes of before - statues. Of felines. Her tail trailed over them as she slowly moved around the statues. Her blue eyes, innocent and childlike, fell upon one statue in particular - the mouth of the feline open and a jade gem held between it's jaws. It was beautiful, glimmering in the sunlight and she wondered how she'd not seen it before.
Her paw raised to caress it but she stopped just before touching it - and guilt pricked at her. She should go and get her brother. They'd only just gotten here and she'd never seen anything like this. It would be wrong to touch it and something... Something genuinely bothered her about the stone. As beautiful as it was - as beautiful as the statues were and as tempting as it was to stay around this area.... It gave her a sense of foreboding. She sighed and placed her paw back on the ground. She turned and began walking away... Before a small smile crossed her face. She just wanted to touch the gem! A quick touch, that couldn't hurt anyone right? Her gaze found the gem once more behind her... And with a quick whirl of her body, her paw lifted and poked at it briefly.
Suddenly everything fell around her, or she was lifting into the air? She couldn't tell but a sharp gasp escaped her maw even though her eyes hadn't closed for even a second. Nothing around her changed, and no, she hadn't really left the ground, but it sure felt like it. The moment the world stilled she stumbled back from the stone, staring at it with wide eyes. And then she whipped herself around, running to find her brother. Not a yell escaped her maw, not a sound. Something told her to keep her mouth shut - but fear pulsed brightly through her. Made her fur stand on edge, and that sense of foreboding that she had sent a cold dread through her spine. She should have gone for Kage in the first place, she should have found her brother first. And as these thoughts ran through her mind, she desperately looked around for any of the pride members of Sect of Aegis. She had no idea she was no longer in her Greatfalls.

Sigma Delirious
From his throne and den, Sigma had been resting with his eyes closed. He could feel the heartbeat of his land, feel it sapping the energy it needed to sustain itself from him. For a demon to create... It was mostly unheard of. It wasn't easy on him, though his kingdom was blissfully unaware of the strains. This was why their land expanded no further--he kept himself ready for any problems that may occur. And this too was why he rarely left. His paradise... it was all false. Without his care and cultivation, it would fall apart and become barren once more, as it had once been.
He felt the tickle of the veil shifting and opened his eyes. One beast, alone it seemed. Not a demon. Someone had let their curiosity get to them, or they had been told to come. In either case, he would greet them. The massive male leaped from his place to the sandy shoreline and followed the trail left by the feline. No doubt she'd be surprised to find such a creature advancing on her. She didn't seem to be heading to the throne, either... Hm. No, she had not been told of this place. "Present yourself." His command held no humor.

Kusa
No one. Not one creature of familiarity was in sight. Nor were the sounds of playing from her niece Kula, or even Abyss as she played with her like she did in the middle of the day time to time. And the further she went, the more she slowed down. This Greatfalls... It was not the same as the Greatfalls she's come to know. Kusa slowed to a walk as she looked around, each step placed warily. And then someone spoke behind her, seemingly appearing out of no where. She whirled around, her tail curling around herself as she stared at another feline, a creature she'd never seen before that was for sure. And the way he spoke! As if he owned these lands! She swallowed hard before something flickered in her gaze. The fear that curled around her spine grew as she stared at him and she breathed in deeply before steeling her resolved and straightening up. She couldn't be afraid in front of another - she had to push away her inner-child for now.
"It's not kind to demand things of one whom has no ties to you." She started off, her voice as soft-spoken as it always was, kind and honey-sweet. "However, I am Kusa, Lady of Sect of Aegis. I was merely looking for my brother and pride mates. Whom might you be?" She couldn't mention the gem to a complete stranger - or anything that had just happened. For all she knew something had seriously gone wrong and she had to hide this fact for as long as was possible - for her own knowledge and possible the safety of this stranger too. She didn't need him doing the same stupid mistake she had.

I hope you don't mind me jumping in here ;;
Widow Syzygy - Dijia "Doll" - Tick
Widow slid through the kennel towards her personal slave, Doll, who was gently licking the small body of the cub Widow named 'Tick'. She always chose demeaning names, as she never expected her spawn to live much longer than a few weeks at most. This cub, however, was already nearing the end of his second month and was still going strong. Although her cubs were not to be much more than pawns for Sigma, she found that she adored this strong little cub, but had no trouble hiding it from his mother. Seductive cyan eyes caught the gold ones of Doll's, and the other female chuffed lovingly in greeting. Striding over, and plucking the cub without so much of a warning, Widow was assailed by his high-pitched shrieking. Growling through his scruff, she heard Doll chuckle which earned her a swat from Widows paw. She missed.
"You know he doesn't like it when you forget to greet me properly." Doll cooed, narrowing her eyes with a smirk on her lips. Widow rolled her eyes and grunted, peering back at the female as she started her way out. The green muzzle of the other was twisted in a devious grin, one that Widow herself found she was unable to ignore. Prickling ran from her paws all the way down her back to her tail, which flicked and delicately caressed the females cheek. She slowly lowered Tick into a pile of hay (Widow was sure to give her prized slave the best treatment), and turned to the female once more. She moved in close and pressed her nose against the others, which caused Doll to murr softly.
"Mm...why do you have to do that when I have work to do?" Widow chuffed, a smile curling on her own lips.
"Because I like how your rump sways when you walk out." Widow bit the slaves muzzle, though it wasn't hard enough to b considered punishment. Instead Doll chuckled again, butting Widow with her head and receiving a quick lick in return. Widow lifted her head and looked around. She wasn't sure why, but something seemed to be drawing her away. "Hm...I think I will return for him later." She got up and started to leave, hearing Doll retrieve their son and go back to licking him. The kennel shut behind her, the female took of at a loping run through the land.
It did not take her long to scent Sigma, the blue and gold female slowing to a crouch and continuing on with precise steps. She peered over a hill and saw Sigma standing near...someone else. Claws slid out of their sheaths, and a pale tongue rasped over her teeth. Fresh meat... She'd tear the female limb from limb if she showed her king any disrespect. Come on...do something stupid... Fangs were bared as the female grinned at the sadistic thoughts crossing her mind.
It didn't take long. The female didn't seemed as afraid as she was, and the grin turned to a scowl. How dare she. If she wasn't certain the King would flay her for stepping in his way, she'd have dove down upon the ignorant little fool then and there. Instead she bided her time, hoping her King knew she was near and ready in case he needed it.

Sigma Delirious
Sigma smiled at the femme; it could be mistaken as pleasant, but there was a dangerous undertone to it. His eyes turned to Widow to show his acknowledgement of them. A tail flick was given as a sign to stay still; this intruder was... curious for now. Harming her wasn't on the agenda yet. They were dangerous creatures yes, demons despite the skin they wore, but simply killing anybody who entered was more damaging than good. As for letting them mistake themselves for having individual rights... This, he would amend. She had already given him quite a bit of information on who she was, and what the status of the world outside their own, was. She had a brother and a pride, no doubt good in nature as he could see and hear from her tone. Motherly in a mortal's way.
"It is precisely my right. You don't know where you are, do you? You believe you do, but you're incorrect. I can see the fear in your eyes as you stand before me. Fear, uncertainty, and yet you swallow it and attempt to be kind to me. Mortals are oft oblivious as such." No, she was not told of this place. Had it not been so amusing to him that she was of her nature, he probably would have been harsher to her. "You stumbled in here by accident, did you not? You're not in the Greatfalls you know, child. This is my realm, parallel to your own." He had no qualms about nearing her, eyes unwavering from her own. As if he could pierce through and see her soul itself through the circular orbs. "Tell me, Lady Kusa... is there any reason for you to be standing before a God? A deal to be had, or are you simply... lost? You would find yourself in a position of honesty." His gaze moved to Widow--the threat, implied. Respect me, or I'll force it. She was simply lucky that Federal was lost within his experiments... His presence was unsavory to most.

Kusa
She wasn't unaware - the moment another's eyes fell upon her, the intensity of the gaze alerted her. Even more so the male's diverted attention, even as slight as it was. She wasn't entirely oblivious. But his smile tugged at her the most. It was not kind. It was quickly becoming clear just how bad of a situation she was in. Her eyes narrowed upon him as he began speaking before widening minutely. Her breath quickened slightly. Small. Hardly noticeable to even the most observant. But her jaw tightened as she continued to listen and realize that she wasn't home. Fearful? Definitely. Uncertain? Most certainly. But as he neared her, she had the strongest urge to step back - move away. Yet she didn't. She could see it now - the way he spoke, the way he moved. He felt he was beyond entitled. He was one of those types. It frightened her more. He thought he was above her - perhaps in age and wisdom he was. But in her mind... In her mind, he was quickly becoming the scum of the place.
He was threatening her. And she'd done nothing to warrant it. But her mind worked quickly as he spoke next - before a God? Ha! She could give him what he desired. She had no choice really. Survival, returning to her brother, was of utmost importance. Her jaw clenched further before she released a breath slowly through her nose, releasing the tightness of her jaw. "I apologize, Sir, but above all else, I am honest." She took another breath - this time noticeable. "I attempt to be kind to you because I do not know you. Because it is the right thing to do. Especially, as you say, since I am on your lands." She lowered her gaze from him with a small dip of her head, a sign of respect - even as she watched him carefully from the corner of her eyes. She had to. It was everything to her right now. "I..." She swallowed. "I was exploring my Greatfalls, Sir. And I came upon the statues that I'd not seen before. So yes, it was by accident that I find myself here - lost. I am sorry to have bothered you in your realm, I really am. But I'd not seen a gem as beautiful as the one in that statue and even more, I did not know it would bring me here. You've my apologies"
She hoped it was enough.

The demoness was pleased to see her King acknowledge her. She wasn't pleased to have to hold back however. Lying on her belly, her hind legs were ready to spring at the command she hoped would come. Regardless, she was certainly curious of this intruder as well. How well could this creature take their experiments? Tongue crossed over her lips once more, the idea becoming more and more delicious. Perhaps they could keep her, see how she does, and then find her family if she does well. Mortals were curious, and fun to experiment on. Fun to break.
She listened to the conversation going on below her carefully, her ears perking at the implied threat. A grin broke across her face, excellent. Should the femme overstep her boundaries...yes, mortal blood was the most sweet. She resisted the urge to keep licking her lips, a ridiculous habit she had acquired when she got excited. It was far too canine for her tastes, but she had heard that somewhere in her ancestry she had wolf-like heritage. Her tail curled around her, the tip tapping against the ground in a bored manner. She was becoming even more bored by the moment. This female was hardly any fun. What a bore. She yawned, baring her fangs without a care in the world.

I ALMOST LOST THIS DUE TO MY INTERNET POOFING FOR A MOMENT BREATHES HEAVILY Sent it since I couldn't modify it, fixing it in an edit.Fixed. Sigma Delirious
How could a creature have such intense eyes and yet seem almost soulless--omniscient yet vacant. Appearing as though he saw her, and yet saw through her. No kindness, no compassion in his gaze. She was a creature, no more, like an ant on a blade of grass. Mortal creatures seek love and company, where he thirsted for power and influence--she may look for a beating heart in him, and she would find none. He was well aware this was offputting to most, but he handled her as delicately as he cared to.
"Few mortals remain honest when thoroughly tested. You should understand the need to clarify that lying is a poor decision, presently." This was as close to an apology as she'd get. The emerald male had not known their pride before now, nor the traits that they held. He held the poor image that most creatures were spineless, and so to see her standing before him, doing her best not to waver, while remaining honest... It was likable if only in the sense he didn't detest her. He seemed to relax slightly, moving to treat her more as a cub now that he had a clearer picture of who she was, and her intentions. This wasn't so much due to him believing her to be cublike--it was how he treated mortals that didn't anger him. A form of tolerance. "In the world, there exists at the very least two dimensions. The one you live and die on is the first, and Limbo is the second, where you may end up after death. I have my kingdom here, named Exotica. Mortals like you need an artifact such as that gem to ever reach here on your own without physical death." There were exceptions, though he did not get so technical with her. "I had recently placed the statues back in the mortal realm so that visitors could once more enter my realm. This would be why you did not see it before. The same object leads you back out." His gaze had wandered slightly as he spoke, but it returned to her. "You and your pride are free to remain in Greatfalls on the condition that the statues are not cordoned off to travelers or your own members. I do not have time for any more idle visits such as this, but my servants provide services at a price." Lips moved in an empty smile. "I expect tribute."

Kusa
Her ears flicked forward as he spoke his first statement to her words and she allowed her head to tilt to the side as she gazed upon him. Mortal. Chastising almost. But she could tell it was an explanation more than anything else. She attempted to keep her breath from quickening any further than ever. She swallowed again and then eyed the male before her whom claimed himself a God so easily. And if he had the ability to place the statues there, was clearly of power to at least attempt to claim such a thing. She had to step very lightly she knew this, especially as he explained himself further and... She couldn't deny. Part of it did interest her. Curiosity gleamed in her gaze, but nothing came forth from her maw. Perhaps... Perhaps because of his wandering gaze, he missed the gleam in her own.
Because the more he spoke the more she got the sense that there was definitely something very wrong with this entire picture... And if her and her brother were going to upkeep the roles that they were putting forth? They were going to need some serious help. She remained silent until he was finished speaking - she picked up on that much, he enjoyed speaking without being interrupted. Actually... A dark thought entered her mind before it disappeared completely. She wasn't mean or cruel, but it couldn't help but come to pass - maybe it was the aura of the place. But he seemed to enjoy listening to the sound of his voice with how much he spoke.
Until the very last statement escaped his lips. The dread that had been spinning within her body, rushing through her veins, now locked around her heart and tugged it downwards. "Tribute?" It took her a moment to realize she'd said it out loud, the shock was clear on her face but she gave her head a brief shake to clear her mind. She felt stupid for seemingly locking on that one word - it was rather impolite of her. "That certainly would explain why I've not seen it - and it does sound quite complicated." An attempt at complimenting the accomplishment of such a feat - however small and insignificant it may have been to him. She wasn't completely clueless about certain things - and there were cultures out there that she knew of - like worshiping. Not that she'd ever get into that but... Complimenting him would probably help. "And I understand - each pride, each group, deserves the right to have members have a choice to learn, to join a group of their choosing." She had to take a page from his own book - because she certainly wasn't going to consent any further than the words she just used to keep her members away from him.
Her head tilted however as she recalled his other words. "What kind of tribute?" She didn't understand truth be told. She never said she would require his services. Or any of his servants services. So that price... Whatever he was thinking... Her mind flickered to Kula, to Kage, and to all their new members. To her role among Sect. She wouldn't be coming back here again until she was prepared to help rid the world of him.

Widow relished the words that came from her kings mouth. While it may seem like cub-speak to some, to her, she could see it for what to really was. Or perhaps what she wanted it to mean. Demeaning. Reminding the mortal that she was just that, that she was in no position to barter or question. She was at their whims, the tip of their claws. Her eyes narrowed and tail flicked gleefully.
Muscles were not completely relaxed, listening to her kings voice. She wasn't too keen on outright telling the mortal how she got here, but perhaps that could prove useful. She loved finding mortals, testing them, seeing how far they could go, how much they could take. Considering how prideful the mortal was, it was a curiosity of her own that caused her to not want to outright slay her should she so much as say the wrong thing. Yes, that would do nicely.
At the mention of tribute, Sigma gained Widow's full attention and she sat upright, her form completely visible. She wasn't trying to hide any longer. She wanted the mortal to know that her King pretty much owned them now. It was generous enough to allow the Mortal to stay in their version of this world, but they would stay at a price. She smirked, eyes narrowing and cyan eyes glittering mercilessly. She too, wanted to know exactly what tribute there would be, and she hoped that whatever it was, she would be the first to taste it.

Sigma Delirious & Fexol Delirious
It was a trait borne of a superiority complex and years of being on his own--he could very well talk for hours to explain everything he knew and surmised from the world around them. An endearing trait to his followers who felt privileged to learn from him, and overwhelming and prideful to those who walked a different path. He was utterly unnatural in every sense of the word, an intense being.
He nodded at her statement that it was the choice of all what pride they want to be part of. Exactly so. Even he offered choice with his own pride, which was why he did not move to incorporate her pride. They needed prides existing outside his realm in the way prey are allowed to exist in herds.
He had one particular trick up his sleeve, and it presented itself in the words he spoke next. "To explain what a tribute is would make it a demand. Hardly a sign of respect for me should you lack your own initiative. Remember this, mortal; you choose what you want overseeing you. Wrathful or merciful, coexisting or overseeing. Choose wisely." His words showed a surprisingly civil side of him. His nature as a ruler preceded himself; to demons and mortals alike, he felt like a shepherd. His image of a perfect world was not cruel, necessarily, and this made him a little less than evil--he didn't seek destruction or carnage. He sought one thing, and that was for him to take his place as a lord above all and to enable demons to seize their birthright; lordship over mortals. This was where the cruelty existed. It was the nature of most demons to be parasites, and this was true even for himself, though he preyed on his own far more than on mortal kind. He alone would be the checks and balance for demons...
...In the end, his last name served him well. Delirious.
In the nearby foliage, a beast smaller than Kusa revealed itself--the diminutive Fexol, his amber eyes wide and surprised to see Sigma talking to a stranger. He had heard only a little; something about tribute and Sigma talking as though he was preparing to turn the female's pride into some sort of follower. His stomach felt sick at the idea. She didn't look like she belonged in a place like this--he knew a good soul when he saw it. The grey male shuddered and whimpered quietly. Maybe he could get word out, maybe he could catch her before she left... He looked up at Widow whom he'd passed by on the way down. Please don't have her escort her... Maybe he could slip out later if this was the case. He hadn't tried to leave in so long. Federal was distracted, Raiden and Verdict were gone, so maybe-

Kusa
And with those words, she stiffened. Her fur ruffled even though she attempted to keep it laying flat and she swallowed hard. Her next words, she knew, would more than likely be a misstep. They would garner unwanted attention - and they would certainly, more than likely, put harm on her. "What I want overseeing me? You say that as if we are part of your pride. As if I am now a member of your group. You said earlier your servants provide services at a price. What if we do not require those services or require you overseeing us? I appreciate the thought, I really do, but surely we could coexist without such prices. Sir, please.. You may be a God of your own realm, a fine God in your own right.
"However, there is more than one God in this world - and I follow a different God." Her tone trembled. He liked honest right? Well, she'd be as honest as possible even if it harmed her. It would have been her - or someone else. But she could still be polite, she could still compliment him. And she braced herself, even as with those words, she trembled very slightly - barely noticeable - for the backlash that she was sure to come from those words.
She had to try whatever she could to make sure nothing else would happen. If anything - if granted the chance, she'd destroy those statues the moment she could when she got back. And she would get back. Or die trying. And if death was on her row - she'd take one of them with her. But the very thought had her breath quickening as she held back the sudden glisten in her eyes. She'd spent so much time with her brother going over the things of Sect of Aegis... Only for this to be her outcome? Or perhaps her destiny in life was to find this place - this horrible, despicable house of pure evil. So that her brother may take them down and protect the world further.

Widow listened, her bright gaze focused on the female. She was proud of her king, which showed in her upright, dignified pose and lidded eyes. He would always get what he wanted, she knew that. Now if only the mortal one could get it too. Mmm... Widow wondered how well she could take the experiments, the testing. She guessed not well, as even lesser demons couldn't handle the intensity. She stifled a chuckle. Her king caught her attention as he spoke once more.
She smirked at his words. She had no choice. She could almost pity the female. Almost. Her claws sheathed and unsheathed, digging into the earth beneath her as she wondered what the female would offer. And she hoped that she could enjoy it at well. Mortals made good fodder, and their was much to be learned about their limits. She wondered if any mortal could surpass the limits of even some demons. Her eyes flickered calculatingly, then her attention was brought back when the female spoke.
She almost sighed. Almost. While it was easier if the female would have just...obeyed...it was hardly fun.
She waited until the female was done speaking to move, slipping down the hillside until she was to her kings left, a few feet behind him. She wasn't worthy to be on either side of him, especially his right side. She was willing to take punishment for speaking out of turn, but clearly this female needed some...motivation.
"I think you misunderstand the position you are in." Her voice was dark, thick like oil. "You see, you think you have some sort of choice in the matter. And why yes, you do, but your poor choices would come with some rather...harsh consequences." Her tail flicked, before settling around her forepaws. She stayed so still, she was like a statue. Honest or not, the mortal female was treading dangerous waters. "Whether or not you require anything, oversee you he shall." She paused to let it sink in. She was unnecessarily cruel, but that was how she worked, what she knew. "What you offer as tribute is up to you. Fail...and he shall take what he pleases." She smiled, the smile soft that was at the same time as intense as the threat she just breathed. "Consider him kind for even allowing you the privilege of deciding what to give. After all, our king is a very generous one."

Sigma Delirious & Fexol Delirious
The guest's words were a dangerous proclamation. Rebellious even if civil, though he had the honesty he asked for. He would appear unruffled though he was very much offended. Words did not come from him at first, and this gave Widow time to close in and speak her mind. She had become quite a valuable asset; she believed in him, respected him, even revered him. A rare thing to be certain as even demons were hardly disposed to such traits, but many knew the taste of having a superior. Instead of using cruelty as his reigns, he had chosen this charade. It was far less barbaric in that aspect and more flattering.
Slitted eyes stared into Kusa's frame piercingly. "There are no gods, only I." These words carried a weight on their own. A declaration of his own. The world around them seemed to ripple, the plants and trees swaying dangerously, bowing and straightening as if they were to have been sucked into an unseen force between Sigma and Kusa. "I am not superstition and lies for cubs to listen to as they fear the unforgiving world around them. I am the fear and I am the power that watches as they sleep safe and sound at night. Look away from me if you dare, Lady of the Sect, but I do not compromise." His tail lashed behind him. "Widow. Show this mortal what happens to her and her family should she continue to object. Leave her alive so she can carry her message to her pride."
Fexol bit his lip hard enough to taste the blood. It was hard to watch this--this femme reminded him so much of his mother. Kind, elegant, and would never bow to Sigma. She had known what may come of her mateship to his father, and she had stayed to her death because it wasn't Sigma's choice who she loved. This was so hard to watch. Claws dug into the ground and he restrained himself from leaping out--it would have caused more problems than it would have helped if he had.

Kusa
Her breath caught when there was nothing but silence after her words - and the other one moved. And yes, right then and there, she knew, honesty or not, that she needed to flee. But the fear that had been coiling tightly around her spine made her straighten at those words that the 'ess shared with her. Her maw opened briefly before she realized the other's gaze became much more intense and her jaw snapped closed, her eyes turned back to the male before her. Their names were never revealed. She hardly knew them. And they expected her to revere them? She very nearly called bullshit on the female - something that would probably have been shocking to them both. Kind was not nearly what she'd call this green male - this male of evil. No. But perhaps, for their standards, he had been very kind. Until now.
Because as she stared upon them both, as he said his first words after what she'd said, her eyes darting briefly between the two, she knew immediately that she'd insulted him. Her jaw clenched tightly then, almost painfully but she didn't feel it as she listened to him. And then he lashed his tail. That was his mistake. Kusa was not an idiot - and she listened just long enough for him to begin his very last statement - before that coil snapped. The fear, the apprehension, the anxiety that had been building and building. It finally snapped. Something unleashed within her, something that she'd rarely felt before - only on the rare occasion where she'd found herself having to fend for herself. And this was one of those times. Because there was no way in this hell that she'd allow them to dictate what happens when she objects.
She darted forward, a snarl escaping her maw as she lunged into the air to barrel right past the two. Back the way she came. Show her what happens should she continue to object? She'd show them what happens when they try and force something upon her. As she barreled into them, she'd every intention of attempting to lash her claws across the male's face - force him to turn away - and slam her shoulder into the female. Hopefully tossing them both off guard as she made way past them. It was a shame they had appeared behind her - blocking her from the path home... She was more than positive that it was the last reaction they'd expect - and yet... She was also sure she'd have to fight her way out of here. Either fight her way out of here - or run to the edges of his plane.
